We went to the Burgkeller for the first time on the recommendation of our brother-in-law and were thrilled. The food was really delicious and lovingly prepared. The atmosphere is very cozy and authentic. I particularly liked the baked ice cream. We will definitely come back on our next visit from Düsseldorf.

A great restaurant in the heart of Limburg. We were here as a larger group and had pre-ordered accordingly. Everything worked out great. The waitresses were friendly and accommodating. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. Gladly again.

Reservation was lost. Wasn't that great. We had to go up the stairs to the next building even though our sister-in-law can't walk well. Despite demand. And a little eye-catching decoration on the plate goes a long way.

Great restaurant, very rustic atmosphere, delicious food. We spontaneously got a table for 7 people, even though the restaurant was very busy. The service was nice, the beer was delicious and the food came quickly. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Limburg.

Very cozy place! The food was fast to arrive. The lady provided an English menu and spoke to us in perfect English. The food was delicious and the portions were good given the price!

Shortly before 9 p.m. we were looking for a place that was still serving food. The castle cellar was the exception in the service desert. We were warmly welcomed and served. My wife suffers from allergies and cannot tolerate carrots. When the hand cheese came, there were carrots on it. We forgot to mention it. A new portion came immediately without any problems, with a smile! Gladly again at any time.

The atmosphere in the castle cellar is excellent and you feel like you have been transported 300 years into the past. The waitress was very friendly and we got our food quite quickly. The taste was fantastic and the quantity was just right. Clear recommendation!

The food was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. The dessert (dessert variations) was a dream and is highly recommended. They also have their own house beer, which tastes very good.

We arrived in Limburg today for a short vacation and noticed the castle cellar while walking through the city center. Quaint half-timbered house, very friendly staff and delicious food, what more could you want! The beetroot carpaccio with buffalo mozzarella was very tasty and highly recommended! The dark cellar beer is also great. We had a lovely evening here, thank you!

The price-performance ratio is good, the service was friendly and attentive. The ambience is quite appealing, authentic half-timbered buildings with all the trimmings. This is worth seeing. Our visit was worth it.

We had a holiday apartment in the Burgkeller and everything was great here👍we would come back at any time The restaurant is rustically furnished, which we really liked ☺️ the food was excellent and the price was reasonable 😊 I unfortunately have to deduct a point from the service because it took a long time until someone could come to the table and bring us a card and then It took forever until we could order. You should at least try to get the drinks a little quicker, because then we wouldn't have endured the long waiting time as much. The great food made up for us a bit ☺️

A nice restaurant in a historic building that offers a lot of atmosphere. You won't get bored. We received great help from an Albanian waiter who clearly showed that he served the guests with love for his profession. The food is typical German and very tasty and value for money. Highly recommended and certainly because of the enthusiasm of the waiter and the love that the chefs have for the food, we will definitely return here.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the schnitzels. They tasted as if they had been fried in oil or deep fried. At least not what we are used to in Germany. Rarely experienced something like this! You sit down outside... ask in advance whether the kitchen is still open and whether you can freely choose a place outside. This was answered in the affirmative. After we sat down outside, after 10 minutes (time is irrelevant in this case) the menus were thrown onto the table without a greeting or any comment. The service simply leaves...without saying anything. With all the love and all the staff shortages... But I can personally choose where I go out to eat. But if someone wants to make money...you should work on your attitude. Of course, at that moment we decided against the restaurant and left. An absolute no go!!!
