A truly great restaurant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Bären impresses with excellent food, friendly and attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. Whether for lunch or dinner – everything is just right here. A definite recommendation!

Quaint atmosphere. Everything is unfortunately a bit dated. A renovation would be nice. But it's clean and tidy. Service is very friendly and attentive. The side salad was fresh and large, with a variety of salads. It tasted good, but the dressing could have been a bit spicier and more modern. The main course was schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was freshly made and a decent size. It could have been seasoned better, and the breading could have been crispier. The fries were perfect. Golden brown and well-seasoned. The price/performance ratio is right. The food is classic and good, but could be improved here and there.

We went there with the Schlemmerblock to eat 🙋🏼‍♀️ we enjoyed it 😋 there was also a small salad with it 🥗

Everything's perfect. Very good, home-style food at reasonable prices. The sauerbraten is incredibly good. The friendly owner, who you can tell puts her heart and soul into her work. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old farmhouse. Tables are easily filled with people. Reservations are recommended.

We were there for lunch today. A place like it was 50 years ago. Very friendly service and very good food. We'll be back.

This is a quaint Swabian inn. They even served soup beforehand as a "greeting from the kitchen." The food itself was good and plentiful, and the price was reasonable. The service was very good, even though the waitress had to do everything herself. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. We would gladly come back.

Essen, wie immer sehr gut. Schwäbische Küche in sehr guter Qualität. Preislich auf hohem Niveau. Service eher schlecht. Ambiente leider sehr kalt, Heizung war ausgeschaltet.

Bären! Gutes Essen mit viel Charme serviert.

Wärme Küche ab 17.30 Uhr. Es gab dann neben der Vesper-Karte nur noch Schnitzel und Schweinebraten. Wir hatten uns dann für Schnitzel entschieden. Auf dem Teller war dann ein Schnitzel und 1/4 von einem weiteren Schnitzel. Man hatte den Eindruck, dass von dem Teller schon jemand gegessen hatte. Das Schnitzel war sehr fettig. Ausserdem waren an meiner Gabel noch die Speisereste meines Vorgängers. Wir kommen nicht wieder!

Traditionelles Wirtshausflair. Kleine Gaststube, die komplett gefüllt war, in der wir uns aber sehr wohlfühlten. Essen zu Preisen, wie man sie selten auf solch moderatem Niveau findet. Wir aßen einen Sauerbraten mit Knödeln. Sehr lecker vom Fleisch, über die Knödel bis zur Soße. Ein kleiner gemischter Salat war inbegriffen. Essingen liegt nicht gerade in der Nachbarschaft von uns, doch wir denken wiederzukommen. Denn wir empfanden den Besuch im Bären definitiv lohnenswert.

Das Essen kam schnell, der Service war gut. Es schmeckte sehr gut.

Sehr leckeres Essen, Preis Leistung top. Ging sehr schnell zu bestellen und das Essen kam auch sehr schnell.

Gutbürgerliche Küche, faire Preise! Direkt an der Hauptstraße gelegen. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Im Sommer ist ein kleiner Biergarten vorhanden.
