Gemütliches Gasthaus mit guter und bodenständiger Küche und sehr engagierten und freundlichem Personal. Schöne Aussicht von der Terrasse - abends mit schöner Abendsonne!

Das Essen war für alle in Ordnung und auf der Terrasse lässt es sich gut aushalten.

Alles voll ok. Preise noch wie "früher". Sehr freundlicher Service. Gerne immer wieder.

Lecker und nett, was will man mehr

Wir haben heute einen spontanen Abstecher aus Konz in dieses schöne Gasthaus gemacht. Die Lage ist idyllisch, wir saßen auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Mosel ☺️ Die Schnitzel waren sehr lecker und sind auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen 😋 Der Service war freundlich, herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wenn wir nochmal in der Gegend sind, dann kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder 😍

Einfache Küche, aber das Essen ist OK und Preis Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Service freundlich. Insgesamt einfach, aber nett und zu empfehlen.

Einfaches Lokal. Einfache aber freundliche Bedienung. Getränke gut, Essen, man wurde satt.

Sehr leckere, gut bürgerliche Küche und zu guten Preisen. Hackbraten, Flieten, Schnitzel alles lecker und auf Wunsch auch mit Bratkartoffeln statt Pommes (mit Aufpreis , damit hier kein Missverständnis entsteht). Wenn die Terrasse voll besetzt ist, kann es auch Mal länger dauern, bis der Service noch mal für Getränke vorbei kommt. Man sitzt mit schönem Blick auf die Mosel 👍 Für ein Campingplatz Lokal sehr sauber und gepflegt (ich habe schon anderes gesehen 🙈) dazu sehr Kinderfreundlich und Hunde sind auch herzlich Willkommen, es gibt genug Wassernäpfe. Direkt am Radweg gelegen, daher ein guter Platz für einen Stopp. 🚴‍♀️

We wanted to stop by this restaurant, but were turned away with a simple and very rude "FULL." Politeness is different.

Man muss rechtzeitig da sein. Um halb acht wurde uns gesagt, wir könnten Platz nehmen, aber die Küche sei geschlossen.

Ideal point to start or finish the Saar Cycle Route

The inn is part of the campsite and is located directly on the Moselle Cycle Path. Numerous cyclists stop here for a break. Reservations are recommended for larger groups on weekends.

A lovely place to stop for a bite to eat right on the Moselle cycle path and campsite in Konz. Today we ate fried buns on the terrace. They were delicious!

Good atmosphere, staff, food and price

The service was very friendly, and the food arrived quickly. The chanterelle mushrooms in the cream sauce were obviously canned and tasted strange. The weights of the individual meat and chicken portions suggest that the food comes pre-fried, breaded, and cooked in the fryer, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't add any unique flavor. The side salad was fresh and good. The food was okay for the price, but I wouldn't recommend it. Great view of the Moselle!

I find it quite pleasant here. You sit comfortably with a phenomenal view of the Moselle (and with a little luck, the Saar too), and you can really enjoy yourself. The service is fast and friendly, and if you're so inclined, the campers from the campsite next door are always ready for a friendly chat. The beer is cold, the food is good. Punkie, what more could you ask for?

We ate here twice during our stay at the campsite. The food was delicious and not overpriced. The restaurant was busy.

Where it says hot food until 8 p.m., unfortunately there is no hot food until 8 p.m. By 7:30 p.m. everything was already closed. It would be a shame, it would be nice to change the notice.

Not really friendly place for families with little kids. Our 1,5yo had teething so he was bit nervous and cried, so we were taking him ouside to comfort him. But it was difficult. Anyway, we just ordered drinks and snack, once eaten we were heading to go home. The waiter told is the guests are complaining about cry of our younger one so it's better to go... Eh, we were seating on the terrace outside of the bistro. And the bistro itself is not 5☆ Michelin restaurant so I don't really know if people were complaining or the waiter had just long bad day. Or what are the expectations of the guests in camping bistro. Nevertheless, we will not return here as we have kids and kids may be noisy and this place does not like little guests. In Trier is plenty of kid-friendly places where to go. Ciao.

We've become regulars at this restaurant because we enjoy the food so much. We especially enjoy the side salad with its many variations. The restaurant management and staff are particularly accommodating, friendly, and polite. We're happy to come back again and again!

Keep everything out of the fryer quickly, even the homemade meatloaf had ready sauce included, I don't need it anymore

Unfortunately only the salad was good, everything else was just from the fryer, like motorway service station food

The day before yesterday we were there again, and as always, it was a very nice evening. We got the best Aperol Spritz for miles around (see photo!). We love coming here because everything (food, drinks, hospitality, etc.) is just perfect for us. We love coming to you. Please stay the way you are. Best regards

Strange place, today, May 16, 2025, I wanted to eat there with my wife. All tables were reserved, and when I asked the strange guy who was apparently serving there, and no one understood because he only spoke German, he was so unfriendly that we quickly left. In a harsh tone, you have to read it, it says what time it starts. Unbelievable how they treat the guests here. It didn't look inviting either! Not recommended!!

Delicious cakes and simple dishes at fair prices. The service is always nice and in a good mood. You sit elevated with a wonderful view of the Saar, right on the bike path. We like to stop there.

We stopped there spontaneously today after a long bike ride. The restaurant is located directly on a campsite with a view of the Moselle. The ambience itself was simple but neat and clean. The toilet was also clean, which I always find important. After a short wait (because it was busy), we were warmly welcomed with the menus. When asked about our order, we first ordered something to drink and asked for a short moment to think about it, which was completely granted. What we thought was great is that they also offer dishes that are not “typical” at a campsite. We chose "Toplinka" (I hope I'm rendering it correctly) and the meatloaf with fries. Both were delicious and we were very happy with our selection. The service staff was also happy to come by and ask if everything was OK and if we needed anything else. Overall we were very satisfied and would come here again.

We often go there for dinner - you sit comfortably on the Moselle, the service is very friendly and the food is delicious - what more could you want 😀?!

We passed by here unexpectedly. Top location! Cozy, tasty, fast and not expensive. What more could a person want? And they are friendly too.

The service there is terrible! After we had chosen a table, the waitress came (young and brown/black hair, not the nice waitress with shorter hair ☺️) who threw the menus onto the table without saying a word. When we finished eating the plates weren't cleared away. Not even after she walked past us empty-handed 10 times. In general she was quite unfriendly towards other guests. Unfortunately the beers were also much too warm :/ The food was good and the portions are large.

I ate the best meatloaf ever. My husband had a schnitzel with pepper cream sauce and it was also very tasty. Nice, friendly service, very attentive, always asking if everything was ok. When I'm back in Konz I will definitely visit the inn at the mouth of the Saar again.

Refreshments directly on the bike path with a terrace. Ambience is rather plain and simple, could be designed more nicely. We had tarte flambée and pancakes, both were good. The staff is a bit harsh.

The service is great. However, the food is really not good. Everything comes out of the deep fryer and we didn't like a lot of it. But for a drink etc. this location is perfect!

Finally a trip to the Moselle and I really wanted to come back here. Very friendly, delicious food, very friendly service, helpful and attentive and the food is really fresh and well prepared. Thank you very much for everything. Both the campsite and the brasserie are highly recommended.

Good simple dishes in the beer garden with connection to the campsite! We found the 19 year old waitress very nice!

Due to the lack of places to stop for refreshments on the Saar Cycle Path, we stopped here several times and were always impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The drinks and food were excellent and the waitress took care of us very kindly when we had any questions.

We just had a drink and ate a portion of fries. The location is very nice, right on the Moselle. The food at the neighboring tables looked very good. The prices are cheap. We'll definitely come back for dinner again. We sat on the terrace.

Insider tip if you are in Konz. It's best to make a reservation otherwise it will usually be difficult to get a seat

Cozy restaurant at the campsite. The prices are fair and the food is good. (of course you shouldn't expect 5 star food, but in most campsites it tastes worse). Friendly staff.

Easter 24 ☔☔ non stop Nevertheless, a very friendly atmosphere and very nice service. Been there twice for dinner, both times delicious and completely sufficient. The homemade cake on Good Friday is particularly delicious. Gladly again. Keep it up. All the best and Happy Easter to the team

Even though we didn't reserve a table, we were still able to get a table a little further away. The first waitress to place the order was very friendly. The drinks were served promptly and politely asked who got what. Things looked completely different when it came to eating. One of 2 side salads ordered came quite quickly from an employee. But just put it there no matter who it belongs to with the words bon appetit. That was the only German he knew. 3 of 4 dishes came 45 minutes later and were simply left to us. A few fries, a double currywurst with fries and a wild boar currywurst with fries. We were still waiting for the schnitzel. After 10 minutes there was still nothing. Out of courtesy to my stepdaughter, our food was already cold and we went to ask. It was forgotten. Shocked, hungry and under current time pressure as my friend had to be at work soon, we explained the situation and wanted to at least pay for the drinks. The lady at the reception couldn't understand it and became loud and angry. We still got a table even though we didn't reserve. We were very upset and said every currywurst stand was better. The answer was finally from her: "You are a restaurant please leave and please never come back". Especially because it's a restaurant, I expect all dishes to be served at the same time and if something goes wrong, I expect someone to respond. And above all, even if we don't have a reservation, I expect the same service as everyone else. And no degradation!

It's terrible...we got a table right next to the toilets, which wouldn't be so bad if the door stayed closed and didn't always open automatically. Camping chairs and camping table, which isn't particularly great since the lady sets it up as a restaurant. Waiting time for the food (currywurst and schnitzel) was over 50 minutes, and the schnitzel was completely forgotten. There was no apology, only that we should be satisfied because the currywurst was served without prior reservation. I can't say much about the food because we didn't eat anything, except that when we ordered we asked what sauce I wanted. When I asked what they had, we were shown two packets of ketchup, which goes on the bratwurst and is advertised as a sauce. On the whole, it is nothing more than a snack bar that sees itself as a restaurant and we as guests were treated unfriendly.

Yesterday we had dinner here with our three-year-old daughter to end the long day of travel to the campsite nicely. Unfortunately, the visit here was anything but pleasant and, first and foremost, absolutely unfriendly for children. It started when my little one asked when handing out the cards if she could have one too. This was dismissed with the comment that she couldn't read yet and of course she didn't get one. Then, after the day in the car, the little one had a real urge to move and ran around in the restaurant. She was shouted at several times and it was made very clear to us that the child was disturbing, and she was always very careful to see if there was a waiter in the room Closeness is important and we also pay attention to it and she doesn't behave too conspicuously... she just wants to move. At some point I felt compelled to "tie" her to the chair with my cell phone so that she wouldn't be snapped at anymore. When ordering, our daughter chose potato pancakes, but unfortunately they are only available dry. When we asked if we could get applesauce from the caravan for her to eat with it, we were again told very unkindly that this was a restaurant and that you couldn't bring your own food there. My daughter was of course very sad about this and started crying, whereupon another waiter asked her what was going on. In response to the explanation, we were allowed to get the applesauce because that wouldn't mean we would order less. This waiter was very friendly until the end and got something out of it. The food itself was almost exclusively frozen food and therefore nothing special, but ok so far. Except for the potato pancakes and the sauerkraut on the knuckle, both of which were really inedible.

Es handelt sich um eine Gaststätte an einem Campingplatz. Optisch könnte ein wenig Hand angelegt werden. Deswegen ein Punkt Abzug. Alles andere war echt super. Total nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war super lecker. Auf dem Foto ist eine "Doppelte Currywurst" ersichtlich. Die Preise, die auf Google ersichtlich sind, stimmen nicht mehr ganz. Es gab eine Preiserhöhung, die aber fast nicht der Rede wert ist.

Dieses Gasthaus hat sich gemausert.
