Gasthaus "Am Brunnentor" Forchtenberg in Forchtenberg

A small, rustic inn in the heart of Forchtenberg, lovingly decorated. The menu is small; we had a seasonal special with a few specials. The service was unfussy and impeccable. The food is a treat for all lovers of traditional Swabian fare. We'd love to come back!

What a delightful restaurant this is; oozing with authentic old world charm and friendly hospitality. As soon as we stepped in to this restaurant we were captivated by the genuine warmth and cosiness of the room, the hosts were engaging and so friendly. The menu was simple and offered a range of genuine dishes from the local region. Each of our meals were absolutely delicious, with generous proportions and reasonable prices. This restaurant is highly recommended.

The menu is small, but everything is delicious. The rustic ambiance is also great. Very friendly hosts; the chef personally brings the food or clears the table with his wife... :-) We always enjoy coming back here.

Beautiful, small, rustic room in a historical ambience. Absolutely everything fits together here, from the decoration to the food and the toilets, everything is wonderful! Very good and friendly service, I would recommend it at any time, the food tastes fantastic!

Had an excellent meal here today. Here the boss cooks personally and he knows his craft. The new operating couple is very nice and down to earth. The prices are completely okay. The price-performance ratio is right here. Our absolute recommendation. The ambience is really nice. Lots of wood from times gone by. The pint or beer tastes better here. Extremely delicious and inexpensive Swabian food and a cozy room! Very nice hosts

The restaurant has been faithfully restored to its original period with a lot of love and detail. From the ceiling beams to the bar you can marvel at the old days. The operators are very nice. The food is very good and plentiful. There is no such thing as an empty glass; people immediately ask if there can be another one.

It is not a hotel, but a small, excellent restaurant. A menu with a few, but all the more delicious dishes between traditional and modern (there are also vegan options). The dessert is literally the crowning glory. The prices are actually too low for this quality, but people are happy.

Very tastefully decorated restaurant, with delicious food at affordable prices. We were in Forchtenberg for 2 days in the motorhome and were met by Mr. Let Schöller and his team pamper you.
