Gasthaus am Bootssteg in Weil am Rhein

Sehr gut gegessen sind draussen gesessen super Ausblick. Was nicht so toll war wurden beim warten am Eingang total übersehen bis ich dann mal ein Kellner angesprochen habe ob wir uns irgendwo zusetzen können oder ob er uns einen Platz gibt. Die Damen im Service sehr nett.

Gutes Essen, das aber die Küche bereits um 19:45 Uhr nur noch kalte Gerichte zubereitet, kann man leider nirgendwo finden und auch nicht bei Google ergänzen.

Liegt sehr schön am Rhein, gut zum einkehren für eine Radtour oder bei einem Spaziergang am Rhein. Komme gerne wieder 👍🏻

Super Service, Essen gut, Preis stimmt. Weiterzuempfehlen

Was ich gut fand: Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden; freundlicher aber nur bedingt aufmerksamer Service - es wird nicht gefragt, ob es noch ein Getränk oder ein Dessert sein soll - freundlich ja, aber eher teilnahmlsoser Service; durchgehend warme Küche; Tisch direkt am Rhein. Weniger gut fand ich: Sehr begrenzte Karte; Cordon Bleu sollte vom Kalb sein, wird hier aber vom Schwein serviert (der Gast wirds schon nicht merken); wäre ja ok, wenn man es dazu schreibt. Von der Spargelkarte hatten wir Ricottatortellini an einer Rucola Spargelsauche. Das war so nen Beutelgericht aus der Mikrowelle (hat mich an das Bordrestaurant der deutschen Bahn erinnert). Tortellini waren mit irgendetwas undefiniertem bräunlichem gefüllt, nur nicht mit Ricotta. Die Sauche hat bis auf etwas Rucola nach nix geschmeckt - schon gar nicht nach Spargel; und auch die Portion war mässig. Allerings wurde mit über 17 EUR ein stattlicher Preis aufgerufen; also das war mal gar nix. Cordon bleu war wirklich gross (wenn auch vom Schwein); Pommes waren auch OK; auf Anfrage nach Ketchup erhielt ich einen dieser kleinen 15 ml Aufreissbeutel Ketchup; dasist ja wohl lächerlich. Nun zum Salat. Wir bestellten einen Beilagensalat und einen gemischten Salat. 5, 20 EUR und 7,80 EUR. Beide Salate waren wirklich sehr klein; der Beilagensalat bestand nur aus ein wenig Eichblatt und sonst nix. Der gemischte Salat war das gleiche nur um jeweils einer Miniportion geraspelter Möhre, Sellerie und ein paar Gurkenscheiben ergänzt - also alles vom Billigsten und dann noch wenig. Der Salat selbst war so zwischen labberig und geht gerade noch so. Brot gab es leider keines zum Salat - traurig. Also alles in allem alles recht lieblos zusammengeklatscht. Auch das Bier hätte gerne etwas kälter sein dürfen. Und auch wenn man direkt am Rhein sitzt, schaut man doch auf Kräne, Kieshaufen und die Basler Industrie. Also auch die Romantik hält sich in Grenzen. Alles in allem haben wir 63 EUR bezaht, das war für das Gebotene etschieden zuviel. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt so nicht.

Super, das Essen war perfekt und das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich, extrem aufmerksam und schnell. 100% Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Top Service und unfassbar gutes Preisleistung-Verhältnis. Außerdem sehr schönes Ambiente und durch die die netten Servicekräfte nochmal schöner.

Wir waren vor ein paar Tagen das zweite mal hier. Leider hat sich unser erster Eindruck nicht geändert . Das essen war lecker die Aussicht auf den Rhein ist wirklich entspannend. Jetzt das aber, dieser dunkelhäutige Kellner sollte sich überlegen den Beruf zu wechseln. Hochnäsig, arrogant und denkt er wäre das beste Wesen auf der Welt. Wie er mit den anderen Mitarbeitern umgeht ist eine absolute Frechheit. Liebe Frau Allweier(die Inhaberin) setzen sie diesen Kellner vor die Türe. So lange dieser Kellner dort bleibt werden wir und unsere Freunde und Verwandte diesen Ort meiden.

Es ist ein wunderschöner und reizvoller Ort, ich kann ihn nur empfehlen.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant direkt am Bootssteg, perfekt, um mit dem Boot anzulegen und etwas essen zu gehen und um die letzten Sonnenstrahlen zu genießen. Das Essen ist gut (vor allem in der Spargelzeit) und die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Warum fünf Sterne? Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Mehr braucht es nicht! Die Karte ist übersichtlich, isch hatte das Cordon Bleu, meine Frau das Rahmschnitzel und der Sohnemann die Rinderbäckchen! Alles sehr gut gelungen und sehr schmackhaft ohne Schnickschnack! Genau was man erwartet! Preis Leistung passt, dazu das Ambiente, das man auf der Anfahrt mit dem Auto nicht erwartet! Muss hier mal mit dem Fahrrad hinfahren 😜

Alles tiptop in Ordnung, sehr freundlicher Service, leckeres Essen (Barschfilet mit Salaten, ist auf der Speisekarte unter "Salate"), weihnachtlich dekoriert. Freue mich schon auf den Sommer, wenn man draussen sitzen kann.

The view from the outdoor area was quite nice (Rhine and marina), but the service was inattentive, slow, and not very friendly. In my opinion, the prices were completely exorbitant. All in all: not an experience I'd like to remember.

A very nice inn, very friendly service, very good food, pleasant atmosphere, large open conservatory, great view of the marina from every table/seat... We've been there several times and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. The outdoor area offers the opportunity for lovely walks along the Rhine. Great place for a stop on a bike ride along the Rhine. We would have liked a small breakfast, but they don't serve food before 11 a.m., not even cake or sandwiches. That would have been cool. Always worth a stop.

The location was great. Along beautiful hiking and cycling paths. The food was good value for money. Large portions. The service was a bit stiff.

A year ago, the food was still delicious; now, even at the next table, they're serving a creamed schnitzel that consists entirely of tendons. It cost €20 without salad, with three spoonfuls of sauce and spaetzle. Plus, the waitress was unfriendly and had short hair. We were very disappointed.

Eigentlich haben wir uns an diesem herrlichen Frühlingstag auf ein schönes Mittagessen an spezieller Lage gefreut. Was wir dann erleben durften resp. mussten, gibt uns zu jedoch zu denken und wir können es auch einige Tage später überhaupt nicht verstehen. Vorweg: das Essen war absolut ok und entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Was jedoch die durchwegs unfreundliche und schnodrige Bedienung betrifft, sucht das Lokal in der Region wohl seinesgleichen. Offensichtlich kann man sich dies dank der privilegierten Lage ganz einfach leisten. Sehr schade, finden wir.

We thought it was much better before the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately, during and after the coronavirus pandemic, the staff changed, or there were always short-term staffing shortages. Therefore, in our opinion, the overall quality has declined, but it's still okay for a quick bite to eat.

Despite the manageable "operation", you had to wait a while for the piece of apple tart you ordered. Unfortunately, the cream we ordered didn't arrive until we asked (the cake was almost eaten by then...) Potential for expansion in service! Otherwise everything was pleasant and comfortable.

On September 20, 2024, we enjoyed a wonderfully sunny autumn day on the terrace with delicious food and wheat beer. Everything was perfect.

Wir waren alle überrascht wie gut und schön und auch schnell serviert wir unsere verschiedenen bestellten Essen bekamen ! Es war auch sehr schönes Wetter im Bootssteg was das ganze toll abgerundet hatte, wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder hier hin !

"Unfortunately, I have to rate my experience in this restaurant as extremely negative. The boss's behavior was unacceptable. Several times I saw her loudly reprimanding and belittling her own employees in front of the guests. What was particularly shocking was that guests, including myself , were insulted and disrespected by her.Instead of a friendly atmosphere, there was a hysterical and degrading atmosphere that was very unpleasant for both the employees and the guests. This is by no means the behavior you should expect in a restaurant.I advise "We strongly advise you not to visit this restaurant until there are fundamental changes in the management culture here. Nobody should have to feel like they are being treated like this - neither as a guest nor as an employee."

We recently dined at this restaurant and initially the service from the staff was good - friendly and attentive. But when there was a power outage and the cash register failed, the situation worsened considerably. We asked for a handwritten bill, but the boss refused, saying 'We have a power outage'. Instead of finding a solution, she became rude and insulting to us. What was particularly unpleasant was how she loudly and disrespectfully lambasted her own staff in front of the guests. Unfortunately, this treatment of the staff and the unprofessional handling of the situation completely spoiled the evening.

I can't understand the few bad reviews, but there are people who you can't please. My conclusion: Way too much meat for the money and it tasted good too. Something like that...Super attentive and nice young people in the service, the food was plentiful and very good. There were 4 of us here, including: Had a cordon bleu, it was all great, but unfortunately it wasn't all the way through. We asked the service about it and everything was redone again. We are very satisfied and can more than recommend the restaurant. We would love to come back.

Wir haben wieder ein fantastisches Mittagessen im Bootssteg genossen zuerst mit dem frischen grünen Blattsalat und dann auch mit dem von Klaus Rhein sehr gut gebraten Barsch im Bierteig den Salzkartoffeln und der Sauce Remoulade dies war einfach grossartig ! Da hatte nur noch ein Affocado Platz ! Vielen Dank auch an Beate für den super Service !

Halten sich nicht an die Öffnungszeiten. Es steht auf der Homepage durchgehend warme Küche. Als wir um 14:00 Uhr dort waren, hieß es es gibt keine warmen Gerichte mehr.

There's always a holiday feeling when we sit outside the restaurant and watch cargo ships from Rotterdam or other destinations slowly pass by on the Rhine...It's always a pleasure to stop here to enjoy, among other things, the very friendly service.Tip: if possible on Get a seat at the large table in front of the entrance, as you always get to meet interesting people from the area :)

During the season there is excellent Baden asparagus with two types of ham, potatoes and creamy sauce. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating - even in stressful times. The restaurant is tastefully furnished and decorated in a maritime style. Unreserved recommendation.
