The location was great. Along beautiful hiking and cycling paths. The food was good value for money. Large portions. The service was a bit stiff.

We didn't eat there, just had a drink at a late hour where we were welcomed with pleasure, a rare thing, we will come back, thank you.

Everything at the boat dock was very good! Even though everyone wanted something different, the menus were excellent for everyone! Many thanks to the kitchen and the service staff!

A year ago, the food was still delicious; now, even at the next table, they're serving a creamed schnitzel that consists entirely of tendons. It cost €20 without salad, with three spoonfuls of sauce and spaetzle. Plus, the waitress was unfriendly and had short hair. We were very disappointed.

We've been going there for Saturday lunch for several years. It's very welcoming. The food is always very fresh. The setting is exceptional, right by the water, a holiday feel, go and discover it. But please leave us some space when we go back.

Eigentlich haben wir uns an diesem herrlichen Frühlingstag auf ein schönes Mittagessen an spezieller Lage gefreut. Was wir dann erleben durften resp. mussten, gibt uns zu jedoch zu denken und wir können es auch einige Tage später überhaupt nicht verstehen. Vorweg: das Essen war absolut ok und entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Was jedoch die durchwegs unfreundliche und schnodrige Bedienung betrifft, sucht das Lokal in der Region wohl seinesgleichen. Offensichtlich kann man sich dies dank der privilegierten Lage ganz einfach leisten. Sehr schade, finden wir.

We thought it was much better before the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately, during and after the coronavirus pandemic, the staff changed, or there were always short-term staffing shortages. Therefore, in our opinion, the overall quality has declined, but it's still okay for a quick bite to eat.

Despite the manageable "operation", you had to wait a while for the piece of apple tart you ordered. Unfortunately, the cream we ordered didn't arrive until we asked (the cake was almost eaten by then...) Potential for expansion in service! Otherwise everything was pleasant and comfortable.

On September 20, 2024, we enjoyed a wonderfully sunny autumn day on the terrace with delicious food and wheat beer. Everything was perfect.

Wir waren alle überrascht wie gut und schön und auch schnell serviert wir unsere verschiedenen bestellten Essen bekamen ! Es war auch sehr schönes Wetter im Bootssteg was das ganze toll abgerundet hatte, wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder hier hin !

We recently dined at this restaurant and initially the service from the staff was good - friendly and attentive. But when there was a power outage and the cash register failed, the situation worsened considerably. We asked for a handwritten bill, but the boss refused, saying 'We have a power outage'. Instead of finding a solution, she became rude and insulting to us. What was particularly unpleasant was how she loudly and disrespectfully lambasted her own staff in front of the guests. Unfortunately, this treatment of the staff and the unprofessional handling of the situation completely spoiled the evening.

"Unfortunately, I have to rate my experience in this restaurant as extremely negative. The boss's behavior was unacceptable. Several times I saw her loudly reprimanding and belittling her own employees in front of the guests. What was particularly shocking was that guests, including myself , were insulted and disrespected by her.Instead of a friendly atmosphere, there was a hysterical and degrading atmosphere that was very unpleasant for both the employees and the guests. This is by no means the behavior you should expect in a restaurant.I advise "We strongly advise you not to visit this restaurant until there are fundamental changes in the management culture here. Nobody should have to feel like they are being treated like this - neither as a guest nor as an employee."

The food was good. What bothered us was that the hot kitchen closed from 8 p.m. A warm and beautiful evening with a fantastic sunset - and then something like that.

If you could give it 0 I would give it, the service is just bad and doesn't understand anything, we got the wrong double 4 times and the woman who should be a boss complains because she doesn't get a tip for her bad service.

We came here because of the largely positive reviews. We were passing through and were looking for a nice beer garden for dinner. I can't understand the few bad reviews, but there are people who you can't please. My conclusion: Way too much meat for the money and it tasted good too. Something like that...Super attentive and nice young people in the service, the food was plentiful and very good. There were 4 of us here, including: Had a cordon bleu, it was all great, but unfortunately it wasn't all the way through. We asked the service about it and everything was redone again. We are very satisfied and can more than recommend the restaurant. We would love to come back.

More of a takeaway character. The food was OK but the price wasn't justified. Carelessly prepared, without decoration. Very easy to prepare and serve. Plus the flair of a beer garden. Wir haben wieder ein fantastisches Mittagessen im Bootssteg genossen zuerst mit dem frischen grünen Blattsalat und dann auch mit dem von Klaus Rhein sehr gut gebraten Barsch im Bierteig den Salzkartoffeln und der Sauce Remoulade dies war einfach grossartig ! Da hatte nur noch ein Affocado Platz ! Vielen Dank auch an Beate für den super Service !

Halten sich nicht an die Öffnungszeiten. Es steht auf der Homepage durchgehend warme Küche. Als wir um 14:00 Uhr dort waren, hieß es es gibt keine warmen Gerichte mehr.

During the season there is excellent Baden asparagus with two types of ham, potatoes and creamy sauce. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating - even in stressful times. The restaurant is tastefully furnished and decorated in a maritime style. Unreserved recommendation.

Was a nice trip. Prices are okay. However, no card payment possible. The exchange rate is outrageous and no bank nearby. Great for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but no information about payment. Everything is done digitally via tablet when ordering, but unfortunately not when it comes to money.

I came to the restaurant spontaneously, although the place was very busy, a seat was still found. The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and although it was very busy they were always helpful and attentive. The food was delivered quickly and tasted very good, very good quality.

Maybe a nice place to visit for a snack or a cold beer on the terrace. Very mixed as a restaurant. The food was ok, but not necessarily so that you have to go there again. The prices are OK. The service was very attentive and nice. Unfortunately we experienced an incident, the handling of the staff doesn't seem to be the best. Parts of the restaurant are wheelchair accessible. However, the toilets in the basement can only be reached via a relatively steep staircase. I would therefore not describe the restaurant as barrier-free.

Data la posizione direttamente sul fiume Reno abbiamo voluto provare a pranzare in auesta Guesthouse; purtroppo devo lasciare una recensione negativa. Cibo mediocre e a prezzi troppo alti. Molto delusa dal fatto che nel 2024 auesto ristorante accetti solamente contanti per il pagamento e senza nemmeno rilasciare una ricevuta!!!! Il cameriere, in maniera anche piuttosto antipatica, ci ha comunicato solo a fine pranzo che da loro si accettano solo contanti come se fosse una cosa ovvia. Non avendo letto da nessuna parte che le carte di credito non sono accettate, siamo arrivati sprovvisti di contanti e al momento del pagamento non ho potuto far altro che alzarmi dal tavolo, lasciare li la mia famiglia, prendere l'auto e andare a cercare un bancomat per prelevare denaro. Situazione veramente spiacevole. Peccato, ma lo sconsiglio vivamente.

We have been there several times and have enjoyed every visit there. The outdoor area offers the opportunity to take beautiful walks along the Rhine. Hervorragender, zuvorkommender und sehr freundlicher Service. Leckeres Essen. Tolles Ambiente. Kann man nur weiter empfehlen.

Zweimal waren hier, zu Zeiten, zu denen laut Google und den am Lokal angeschrieben Zeiten geöffnet sein sollte. Aber Fehlanzeige. Die Besitzer haben es offensichtlich nicht nötig sich an Zeiten zu halten. Wobei beim zweiten Mal wurden nur ausgewählte Personen an einem Tisch bewirtet Daher, Lokal meiden, es hat eh nie offen.

Leek makkelijk een camperplaats en restaurant na een dag rijden. Helaas restaurant om 18:00h dicht. Zou leuk zijn als dat vermeld stond in google-maps als je op het icoontje tikt.

Wir sind immer gerne hier zum Essen - das ist wirklich gut! Leider stimmen die Öffnungszeiten online nicht mehr - auf Grund von Personalmangel wird nun offensichtlich schon um 18 Uhr geschlossen. Find ich ok - wenn die Öffnungszeiten online ebenfalls angepasst werden. Und Man Gästen dann um 16:40 Uhr (wie gestern) nicht sagt die Küche hat bereits geschlossen - das die Küche auch mal Feierabend braucht und da noch arbeiten zu tun sind die der Gast nicht sieht ist mir völlig klar. Küche bis 17 Uhr wäre bei Öffnung bis 18 Uhr allerdings zu erwarten

Spontan auf Fahrradtour eingekehrt. Freundlich, ungezwungen und sehr gutes Essen. Ein Besuch wert und auch mit dem Schiff oder Auto erreichbar. Komme wieder

Tolle deutsche Gerichte, wie Ochsenbäckchen, war sehr lecker. Man sollte reservieren. Wir kamen mit dem Sportboot und es gibt genügend Anlegestelle.

Eines meiner Lieblingslokale in Weil am Rhein. Service sehr sehr Nett.Ich mag die 2 Jungs die uns bedient haben. Ich komme gerne wieder. Essen ist Mega Lecker.Ich wünsche das sie bald mehr Personal bekommen.

Schön gelegen, dem Yachthafen angelehnt, mit einer schönen Aussicht auf den Rhein und das gegenüberliegende Rheinufer mit einem ebenfalls schönen kleinen Restaurant bei dem sogar gelegentlich Tanzmusik herüberschwapt. Und weiter oben die Grenze zur Schweiz. Und das Beste, kein Pizza, kein Kebab sondern tatsächlich noch echtes deutsches Essen.
