A sentence with an X... that's probably the best way to describe our visit to the top dog. Or unprofessional and hopelessly overwhelmed. After we had already reserved a visit to the Platzhirsch online at the end of October and had it confirmed by email, we went to the location on the said date full of anticipation. Only to find out that we weren't on the reservation list and therefore couldn't find a place. Our name probably didn't appear on the list until the next day. The completely overwhelmed staff left us standing in the entrance area for about 15 minutes, while half of them ignored us so as not to be asked about the problem, the other half disappeared for minutes and then told us that there was no alternative or suggested solution. Only a verbal apology from the receptionist present. Now you might think it was bad luck, an isolated case. But two ladies who came after us also felt the same way. The unprofessional handling of appointments is only topped by the helplessness when problems arise. Therefore only 1 star for the very beautiful and appealing ambience that we were able to catch from the narrow entrance area.

I had lunch in the restaurant and only smoked in the back area of ​​the hotel, so I can't say anything about what's on offer at Platzhirsch. But the food in the restaurant was excellent.

Very nice restaurant. Fine and exclusive cuisine.
