Ist einen Besuch wert. Sagt vor der Bestellung wie groß euer Hunger ist.

Seitdem Besitzerwechsel leider nicht mehr das was es war ( geschmacklich, sowohl auch preislich). Für ein Kindergericht Nudeln mit Tomatensauce 14,50Euro zu verlangen ist schon Wucher.

Eine sehr schöne kleine Lokation mit prima Service und lecker hausgemachten essen. Speisekarte ist übersichtlich Cocktails lecker Preise passen ..ein Geheimtipp für gutes Essen und einen netten Abend

Wir saßen zu fünft auf der Terrasse und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Hausmannskost war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Dazu gab es hausgemachte Limonade, ein kühles Bier und zum Abschluss durfte natürlich ein Eis nicht fehlen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Insgesamt ein gelungener Besuch – wir sind glücklich, zufrieden und satt nach Hause gegangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!🤩🤩🤩

Wir waren gestern anlässlich eines 90. Geburtstags dort . Leider war die Veranstaltung sehr enttäuschend . Der Service war katastrophal -es fehlte an Aufmerksamkeit & Organisation . Auch das Essen konnte uns alle nicht überzeugen und war qualitativ wenig gelungen . Besonders negativ viel die mangelnde Organisation auf , wodurch der Ablauf der Feier sehr chaotisch wirkte . Für einen so besonderen Anlass hätten wir deutlich mehr Professionalität und Planung erwartet. Leider können wir diesen Veranstaltungsort aufgrund unserer Erfahrungen nicht weiterempfehlen. Auch die Leitung des Hauses vermittelt nicht den Eindruck eines professionell geführten Gastronomiebetrieb .

Wir warten seit über 2 Stunden, als geschlossene Gesellschaft, auf unser Essen, Wahnsinn.

Wir warteten sehr lang auf unser Essen. Der Service ist auch sehr überfordert und kommt nicht hinterher. Außerdem finde ich es fragwürdig das ein Junge das Essen kontrolliert.

Nach über zwei Stunden warten wir als geschlossene Gesellschaft noch immer auf unser Essen.

Der Empfang war äußerst freundlich und der Umgang mit den Gästen war sehr zuvorkommend, geradezu liebevoll. Ich habe mich als Gast hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei der Bewertung des Essens kann ich mich den vielen positiven Rezensionen nur anschließen. Mein Essen wurde relativ schnell serviert, war heiß und sehr lecker. Hier wird frisch gekocht, was man durchaus schmeckt. Es ist heute ja schon etwas Besonderes, wenn man aus der Küche hört, wie das Schnitzel geklopft wird 😉! Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in diesem Lokal. Bei nächster Gelegenheit werde ich das gerne wiederholen. Vielen Dank an dss Team!

Wir haben die Lokalität zufällig, auf einem Spaziergang, entdeckt. Wir saßen auf dem gemütlichen Hof und sind sehr verliebt in das Ambiente. Leider waren die Königsberger Klopse aus aber die Dame, die uns bedient hat war super freundlich und sympathisch. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Sorry, aber das war nüscht. Wir mussten über 2 Stunden auf unser Essen warten. Es waren 2 normale Portionen die geschmacklich in Ordnung waren. Aber dem Preis nicht angemessen erschienen. Von der übersichtlichen Karte waren 3 Gerichte um 18 Uhr "schon aus". Vielleicht hatten wir ja nur Pech.

Ich hatte Jägerschnitzel mit Nudeln und hausgemachter Tomatensoße. Es war nichts Besonderes. Die Nudeln hätten meiner Meinung nach eine Minute länger kochen können. Die Soße war in Ordnung und hatte eine angenehme Würze. Der Jägerschnitzel schmeckte wie aufgewärmte Tiefkühlware.

Waren heute das erste mal dort war sehr überrascht sehr freundliches Personal sehr gut gegessen alles Chic gerne wieder 👍❤️

Kann leider nichts positives sagen. Essen war sehr salzig und von der Größe der geposteten Schnitzel kann ich nur träumen. Für frisch gekocht war es nicht gut genug. Keine Garnierung und liebevoll angerichtet sieht anders aus. Schade, Lokalität hat Potenzial.

Morgen wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort und sind super begeistert. Sehr leckeres Essen,das Ambiente auch top, Bedienung top.... Was auch sehr gut ist es werden verschiedene Veranstaltungen gemacht sogar zum bevorstehenden Kindertag,finde ich Klasse das man auch an die kleinen Gäste denkt. Wirklich zu empfehlen das Gasthaus.... Der nächste Besuch dort geplant

Wir waren heute in der alten Schule zum essen.Die Möbel müsten ausgewechselt werden,Ihre Zeit ist abgelaufen.Die Bedinung mußte am Kleidungsstil etwas ändern,sehr unvorteilhaft in der Gasttronomie,Das Essen ist fpr die Portionsgrösse viel zu teuer .Für Nudel mit Tomatensosse 20€ steht in keiner relation.Würzfleisch 8.50€für ungefähr 200Gramm schon unverschämt.Freundlich war die Bedingung ,dennoch möchte nicht jeder mit Du angesprochen werden.Schade das nach einem Betreiberwechsel im April 2026so ein starker Einbruch ist. Das Bier war zu warm was einige Gäste bemängelt,Sie machte zwar neue wen aber die Einstellung nicht stimmt wird das nichts.Auch an Kretik am Essen wurden nicht ernst genommen.Schade .So kann es nichts werden.Und bei den hohen Preisen keine Karten zahlung ist auch nicht angebracht.Und ein Elektroroller hat in der Gaststätte nichts zusuchen.

Wir waren das erste Mal nach dem Wechsel essen und sind begeistert. Dass Essen ist sehr lecker und der Service ringsherum stimmt, Getränke lassen in Angebot und Qualität nichts zu wünschen übrig. Wir wünschen der neuen Wirtin alles Gute und freuen uns, weiterhin in der Nachbarschaft gute Gastronomie zu haben.

Es war einmal. Seit dem Besitzerwechsel hat sich das Essenangebot drastisch verändert. Einfaches Schulessen (war ja auch mal die Schulküche der Salbker Schule) zu total überzogenen Preisen. Die Portionen sind minimal. Das Essen hat keinen Geschmack, erinnert an TK Ware die schnell auf gewärmt wurde. Nicht nochmal.

Guten Abend. Wir waren bei einer Kinder Aufführung die gelinde gesagt denn Tag etwas ruiniert hat. Dann kam meine Frau drauf hier essen zu gehen. Einfach genial. Etwas rustikal sehr familiär und sehr warm. Das Essen ist ein Genuss Salat als Vorspeise. Selbst unser Kids haben dieses genossen. Meine Frau die Leber ein Traum Meine Wenigkeit ein Schnitzel mit Champion in Soße, einfach himmlisch. Kids haben Nuggets und ein Kartoffelbrei. Danke für diesen gerettete Abend. We ate at the restaurant for the first time this evening and were very pleasantly surprised. It may seem rather unassuming from the outside, but the intimate atmosphere combined with the excellent food more than won us over. The service was very friendly, and you can tell the owners put their heart and soul into their business. We'd love to come back.

We woke up after dinner with mixed feelings. Sure, it takes a while for the food to arrive...we're constantly told that. But at some point, isn't it more productive to work on the root causes, instead of telling each guest 20 times: "That's going to take a while, my husband is in the kitchen alone"? But then the food arrived, and it was very plentiful and well-presented. My son had a bit of bad luck with his starter; it was too salty. We mentioned it...he just replied, "Oh." Eventually, the main courses arrived. Again, all the portions were really large and looked delicious. Everyone actually enjoyed it. As is customary, we mentioned that the steak we ordered medium was well done. A comment: "Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...my husband is in the kitchen alone, he only has four burners..." Let me put it this way: a hairdresser, painter, surgeon, etc. can't afford to make such a statement 😉. A bit more professionalism and empathy for the guest would have been appropriate. There was no apology or anything else, which was a real bummer. Sometimes it's the seemingly small things that can spoil a pleasant meal among friends. We wish you continued success; unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

You are innkeepers with heart! We got a seat for lunch on Whitsun Sunday without a reservation. We were greeted warmly and served quickly. We opted for the farmer's breakfast and veal liver. Simple dishes, but freshly prepared and delicious. The farmer's breakfast was crispy fried. The liver was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, with homemade mashed potatoes and plenty of buttered onions. It also came with a fresh salad. Delicious! We'll definitely be back.

Excellent taste, generous portions, freshly dressed salad before the main course, and you could hear the chef pounding the schnitzels in the kitchen, something you hear far too rarely these days. Super friendly service. We felt very comfortable as a group and would gladly return.

We came unannounced and still managed to accommodate eight people. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to sit at the round table. After looking at the super large, delicious menu, we were treated to culinary delights with food and drink. The food there was really good, hearty cuisine. The portions are very large. Next time I would probably choose the “senior plate” because you can also choose the smaller version of all the dishes. We were warmly welcomed and looked after. There's nothing to complain about there.

We were there for a snack on Saturday after a funeral service. There was a class reunion at 3:00 p.m., but they gave us an advance notice. The staff, the food and the service were great, thank you for that.

A little gem! 🥰Very pleasant atmosphere. Family business. When I visited there, the chef himself brought the food to our table. You don't get your food served that often. The meal included a freshly made salad with a wonderful taste 👁, not a standard salad. I was able to enjoy an excellent prepared veal liver with mashed potatoes. At my request, I also got green beans. Of course there were also plenty of onion rings. The lady who served was a warm experience for me. I also got my food very quickly. However, I can say that at peak times it can sometimes take 40 minutes for the food to arrive. But that is because the couple running the restaurant run the restaurant entirely alone. I would also take 1 hour to be able to enjoy such a taste experience again next time! My recommendation for this restaurant... definitely visit! My heartfelt thanks for this taste experience. 🫶👌🥰

We celebrated my dad's 60th birthday at the inn. It was just an all around great evening. The hosts are such great people. Here you can simply tell that the “Old School” is run with a lot of love and enthusiasm. The food was great and was of great quality. This is how you imagine home cooking, true to the motto “Feed like your mother” 😉. We will definitely come back here more often and can highly recommend the restaurant 👍🏻. The restaurant is run by a couple. Both are very attentive and accommodating. It is freshly cooked. Very good German home cooking. The portions are sufficient. The children's schnitzel alone was huge. My pepper steak was very tender and well fried. Clear recommendation.

Thanks to friends, we went there for dinner for the second time. Service is very nice and attentive. The food is extremely tasty, I would advise normal eaters not to choose a starter. Because the portions are very large. You should plan on waiting a bit because everything is freshly prepared. Be sure to reserve in advance as there are only a few tables. Nice shop. Small but nice. The food was great and the service was great too. Man just needs a little time. Eating took a bit of a long time but the portions are very large and you can of course take whatever is left with you. One lady just makes drinks and the other lady takes the food order. It is directly opposite the tram stop with line 2 towards Westerhüsen, basically 2 stops after the SKL stop. The only negative point is that it is a bit loud. Just a tip, please reserve a table in advance because there are only 8 to 10 tables. Otherwise I will recommend it.

We have been using this location around Christmas time for several years to eat with friends. We have always been satisfied with the food so far. Price/performance is completely ok. The location is rustic and clean. The operation is in a class of its own. A mistake (yes, that's human) is straightened out with a lot of humor. If there is time, she is also available for a chat. We would love to come back and not just at Christmas
