Gasthaus in Masserberg

Deutlich spürbar überheizte Räumlichkeit, in der sich der Wirt merklich wohl fühlt und lautstark den einen Gast den anderen Gästen vorführt. Jeglicher Gastkontakt ist im Gastraum zu hören, und gerade für weibliche Besucher schockierend und abstoßend. Das Essen war Dank funktionierender Hilfsmittel sehr schnell fertig und wer Fertigprodukte mag, ist sehr gut aufgebhoben. Gemüse (war gut gemacht) TK , Fritteuse hat die Kartoffelprodukte und das Schnitzel zubereitet. Für uns war die Atmosphäre die der Wirt versprüht hat mehr als unangenehm und hat die geplante Verweihldauer maßgeblich beeinflusst, so das wir schnell unsere Convenience Produkte verspeisten, und den Ort spürbar erleichtert verlassen haben. Und Nein, das war nicht witzig!!!

We went for Christmas dinner and it was fantastic! Everyone ordered different dishes and we were very satisfied. The food was plentiful and delicious, and we even received extra sauce. Every one of our special requests was fulfilled! The dessert was divine! The service was very professional and we will definitely recommend the restaurant! The price was also excellent. Very tasty. There were six of us here. Everyone's feeling down.

Unfortunately, I relied solely on maps when looking for a place to stop for refreshments and didn't check the opening hours on the website. So, after the newly reopened mountain hut and a three-hour hike in the rain along the Rennsteig trail, we found ourselves standing in front of closed doors. What a shame...
