Alle Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und das Essen war authentisch und fantastisch mit vielen vegetarischen und veganen Optionen.

Das Essen hier ist Bombe, das beste Indische Restaurant das ich kenne, und der Service ist auch nett :)

Essen sehr lecker, Personal fragt nach ob alles in Ordnung und ob noch Reis oder Brot gebraucht wird. Kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Das einzige was vielleicht geändert gehört, ist auf der Speißekarte der Zusatz knusprige Ente, da war mein Mann etwas enttäuscht. Es hat ihm zwar geschmeckt, aber er vermisste das knusprige an der Ente.

Sehr gutes Essen, sehr nettes Personal, angenehme Wartezeiten, egal ob vor Ort oder Zur Abholung. & DANKE für den Becher Minzsoße :).

Inmitten der oberen Stadt befindet sich diese Lokalität. Hier sind die Menschen supernett. Unser Hund stellt hier ebenfalls kein Problem dar, obwohl sich die Leutchen sehr vorsichtig gegenüber unseres maximal verträglichen Vierbeiners, verhalten. Ich denke das ist eher irgendwie eine Prägung vom Herkunftsort. Aber, wie geschrieben, null Problem. Wir waren hier schon öfters zum Mittagsmenü essen. Da sind die Preise eher im Niedrigsegment angesiedelt. Aber das freut uns umso mehr. Wenn wir in Kronach sind und die Uhrzeit passt, kommen wir sehr gerne hier her. Ein Essen (Mittagsmenü) kostet 8,90€. Da kann man sich nicht beschweren, dass es auf einem Blechteller, auf welchem sich in verschiedenen eingeprägten Segmenten die verschiedenen Essensbeilagen gibt. Auf jeden Fall ist es eine Empfehlung wert.

Angenehmes Ambiente bei üblicher Restaurant-Lautstärke. Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist üppig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Portionen sind gut dimensioniert, hungrig sollte man hier definitiv nicht mehr rausgehen. Ich kann nicht bewerten, ob es besseres indische Restaurants gibt, uns hat es jedenfalls sehr gut geschmeckt, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren Gäste im JUFA Rosenberg und haben uns bei Ganesha u.a. das Butterchicken (mild) und weitere Kleinigkeiten bestellt. Wir haben das erste Mal indisch gegessen. Trotz Vorbehalte, ob uns das Essen schmeckt, haben wir bestellt. Und: Wir waren begeistert! Es war geschmacklich so gut! Eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden.

Lecker, lecker, lecker. Vor allem die Tandori Gerichte😋. Egal wie oft wir hier waren, es war immer sehr lecker.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und authentisch. Man wird zuvorkommend und schnell bedient. Preise gehen auch in Ordnung. Nur 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof. Da kommt man gerne wieder.

Freundliches Personal das auf individuelle Wünsche eingeht. Papadam vor dem Essen und Mangoschnaps/-lassi hinterher - kostenlos!

Wirkt auf den ersten Blick von außen klein und unscheinbar. War aber sehr positiv überrascht! Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, gutes Essen, top Preise und einen außerordentlich guten Service! Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir haben eine weite Anreise. Kommen schon seit mehreren Jahren dieses Restaurant. Das Essen ist absolut original indisch , geschmacklich spitze! ( habe 5 Jahre im Nachbarland gelebt und weiß deshalb, wie es Orginal schmeckt). Es ist liebevoll gestaltet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, wir haben das Essen immer sehr gut vertragen. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

An exceptional culinary experience! From the first minute to the last, my visit to this restaurant was simply perfect. The welcome was warm, the table lovingly set, and the atmosphere pleasantly tranquil. I was particularly impressed by the creativity of the dishes: Each dish was not only a culinary highlight, but also a visual work of art. The combination of flavors, textures, and presentation testifies to true passion and skill in the kitchen. The service was consistently friendly, very attentive, and yet discreet—exactly as you would expect. Special dietary requests were also accommodated flexibly and professionally. The evening was a truly delicious experience that I won't soon forget. This restaurant is definitely one of the best in the city—I can recommend it to anyone who appreciates good food and excellent service.

Good food, so the "Schäufele" suddenly became Indian, but tasted very good.

Busy on a Sunday night. I got seated without a reservation and was offered complimentary pappadom with 3 sauces. Samosa had a different texture from what I am used to. Salad with chicken strips was huge and delicious . I also had masala lassie. Highly Recommended

Today, we visited Ganesha in Kronach with the whole family again – and were completely thrilled! The food was simply outstanding: top-notch, freshly prepared, and lovingly presented. The service also left nothing to be desired – fast, attentive, and extremely friendly. I'd especially like to highlight the chef: very warm, very present, simply personable. The ambiance is inviting and tasteful – you immediately feel at home. What was especially important to us: our dog was also warmly welcomed, which (unfortunately) isn't the case everywhere. We visited Ganesha three times in our two-week vacation – I think that speaks for itself :-) A real highlight in Kronach – if we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Super delicious food, a lovely restaurant with good service and friendly staff. We ordered tandouri lamb with vegetables, served with basmati rice, freshly baked flatbread, and an extra hot sauce that was truly fiery. Top-notch restaurant, highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. Indian ambiance with subtle background music. The food was a true taste experience, with the spices perfectly balanced. Medium-spicy, if requested, was very good.

The food was delicious and more than sufficient, and our requests were also catered for. The chef personally came to our table and asked if everything was OK, which I also found very positive. The price/performance ratio was excellent, and the welcome from the chef and the lassi with the bill were also very nice. Everything was excellent; we would gladly return. The service was also very friendly and accommodating.

Ganesha truly exceeded our expectations during our visit. The pleasant ambiance and incredibly good food were complemented by service that was always very attentive, but never intrusive. A truly wonderful dining experience.

The food tasted very good! Unfortunately, the quantities were inappropriate. The children's menu for €11 without any side dishes included three pieces of meat! The standard size menu included six pieces! For an average of €17??

This restaurant would make a positive impression anywhere. Very friendly, fantastic food, whenever I'm in the area, I definitely come here for dinner.

A really good Indian restaurant with a great selection and a relatively cozy atmosphere. The chairs are not too comfortable for my taste. I'm not entirely sure what it was. At 1.87 m, I'm not a giant, but I still sat very uncomfortable at the table. The food was great. Only the naan bread with the meal could be better. The waitresses are typically friendly. The price was around €25 with a main course and a glass of wine. Parking in front of the door is unlikely. You should plan a few minutes of running time here.

We were extremely satisfied with our visit. The food was super tasty, all the dishes, including rice and naan bread as well as the greetings from the kitchen and the lassi with the bill were great. Portion size is also good. Our waitresses were super friendly and attentive. Waiting time and ambience is fine. Price-performance ratio is right and we would be happy to come back.

Delivery came later than stated. There was meat in the vegetarian meal - that's not possible! And several papadams were ordered, about 1/3 of which were not properly fried so the blank was still visible. In addition, the dips were missing for half of the papadam - 8 ordered only 4 but everything was paid for - impudence! Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened! This was the last order.

Super delicious! Everything we tried was great and it fills you up well. The Garlic Naan is huge and very good. And the mango lassi is also recommended.

Unfortunately we had to leave again. The whole place smelled strongly of incense! 🫢 I've never experienced anything like this before. You can't eat anything there without tasting that smell. I felt sick 🤢 We didn't want to order anything there!!! There was no insight either. After I apologized and explained my problem, we left without further ado. In a restaurant it should be neutral or smell like food. Smoke, smoke and other annoying smells have no place there. I am not in a temple to pray but to eat. Terrible people there!!!

We were there today with 3 people. The food was sensational. Super tasty and rich. The people were very, very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately we come from NRW and can only go there once. Highly recommended. Price performance fits 100%

The dishes with lamb, chicken, duck and fish taste great, the flatbread comes fresh from the oven and is very tasty, you wait about 10 minutes for the food, very nice staff, pleasant atmosphere, you pay an average of 20 for the whole thing -30€

Simply the best restaurant in the entire county! Super tasty, large portion, friendly service. And the naan is so delicious that we always order one extra 😂I just think it's a shame that the crispy bread with the dips isn't included when it's delivered 😥 otherwise 10/5 ❤️

There is a nice lunch menu. The food tasted very good and was plentiful. Unfortunately, only the rice was saved. I found the fish a little dry. Price performance for the lunch dishes is appropriate. Some of the staff understand German poorly, which leads to misunderstandings. At the end there was a fine mango liqueur on the house. It's nice to eat outside behind the restaurant.

We visited the restaurant on a Sunday lunchtime. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food tasted authentic, delicious and rich, well seasoned. We all felt full from our main courses. The greeting from the kitchen was also really tasty. I can only recommend the lovingly decorated, colorful restaurant!

July 8th, 2024: We were at Ganesha at lunchtime and found a place in front of the restaurant. Later we took a look at the inside of the restaurant and found a beautiful outdoor area. Unfortunately too late for us. The toilets were ok, could use a little more maintenance. The only drawback is that it is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Service: The staff were consistently very friendly and helpful and created a feel-good atmosphere. Food and drinks: The food was excellent and represented very good value for money. The only complaint about the lunch menu was the divided food tray on which all the dishes were laid out. Since the tray is made of metal, it constantly rotates and is uncomfortable to eat on. Coasters or a thicker tablecloth can help. Conclusion: The Ganesha is highly recommended and actually a must for guests of Indian cuisine. Continued success!!

Great staff, almost overly friendly. But not annoying. The food is really fantastic and there is a huge selection of vegetarian specialties and a lot of variations of meat and vegetables. The outside area could be designed a little more lovingly. You used to be able to see from the wall, now there are wooden fences there...it's a shame. Ganesha is worth a visit in both Kulmbach and Kronach

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve eaten at in Germany. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. I had the garlic naan, samosas and chicken tikka masala. All were outstanding! I highly recommend you visit this restaurant while in Kronach.

We've been negatively surprised a few times now. If you ordered “mild food”, especially for children, the food was either so spicy that you couldn’t eat it, or it was so sweet that it resembled dessert. We complained every time and they always said they would add sugar and they couldn't do anything else. It used to be really tasty here, but after we've had such bad food probably 5 or 6 times now, we'd rather go back to Kulmbach to see Ganesha. There's nothing like that there.

I'm surprised by this place that Everything is good in such a small town. The food is the best I have had in India restaurant in Germany. The service is super. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Truly indescribable: whether it's the ambience, service or food. Everything was super great! The staff very friendly and accommodating. The food is super tasty and the portions are more than sufficient. The price-performance ratio is simply brilliant! There is a small appetizer on the house and a schnapps is also provided after the meal on the house. The toilets are very clean and tidy.

We happened to eat there and were impressed by both the funny and courteous staff and the good food. The portion is large and doesn't cost the earth. I was asked several times if everything was OK. When my food wasn't spicy enough, I was helped immediately. I found the Garlic Tikka to be very tasty. The spiced tea and my lassi were also perfect. The atmosphere is typically Indian, although we got a seat outside the restaurant and didn't see much of it. The furnishings in front of the restaurant are rather functional. Also only a few seats there. There seems to be a beer garden, but I didn't see anything about it. Parking will be rather difficult, but anyone who knows Kronach knows that from the start. We would eat there again at any time.
