GALERIA Restaurant in Saarbrücken

We were there for lunch on October 2, 2025. They had roast pork. A chef had just brought a fresh roast from the kitchen, so we thought we'd have that dish. When we got to the table, we were very disappointed. The meat was almost impossible to cut, and it was very dry and lukewarm. You don't use a plastic lid; the chef doesn't put anything over the plate. We've eaten there several times, but this was by far the worst thing I've ever eaten.

Yes, good breakfast, good hot drink, quick and good lunch break.

Scrambled egg breakfast was delicious

It was our first experience. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This pleasantly surprised us 😃 They responded to our requests with kindness and a smile. It's a change from certain restaurants that are sometimes better rated. We had a great time there 👍🙂

The guy at the checkout was rude! The food, well, prices are totally overpriced!!! It was also not pointed out that children up to 10 years of age ordering the main course with adults get a discount or children eat!!! Although there were obviously 2 children there!!! Under the tables could be swept more often, after all it is called a restaurant, the canteen would be a better fit!

Were there yesterday on February 7th, 2024 to eat veal fillet, fried potatoes + beans. It tasted really good and the staff is always very friendly anyway. Whether you like the ambience or not, the food was great, thank you very much.

Pea soup was from a can, in terms of taste and consistency. Price is too high for such food.

Very good restaurant with a great team We were shopping at GALERIA when we felt like having coffee, so we went to the GALERIA restaurant. The price-performance ratio for the very good coffee, large cup is very good. The team was very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to come back and therefore definitely recommend the restaurant

Wir sind Stammkunden und fast täglich dort. Leckere Kaffeespezialitäten und leckere Kuchen. Das Essen ist auch lecker. Es gibt jeden Tag ein Stammessen, was wirklich immer gut ist. Habe noch nichts schlechtes dort gegessen. Vor allem die Kohlrouladen oder Spaghetti Bolognese sind sehr zu empfehlen. Freundlicher Service.

Mir fehlen die Worte für die Qualität ist das ganze gebotene viel zu teuer. Tiefkühlgemüse. Ganz normaler Salat Der Lachs war ok aber nichts was man nicht auch gut bekommt. Zu den Haupstspeisen gibts keinen kostenlosen Salat sondern je 100g 2,8€ Paar gürkchenscheiben mehr und schon ist man bei net weiteren Hauptspeise … preislich. Qualitativ ist es eben Kantinenessen. Was normalerweise nicht durch Qualität heraussticht. Jedoch zumindest Preislich pro Person erschwinglich ist. Hier ist es weder erschwinglich noch normalpreisig. Wir haben für 2 Personen mit kleinkind 45€ gelassen. Bei einem getränk. 3,4€ die Pepsi ausm zapfhahn und 3,4€ für die 0,5L Flasche. Wenn ich jetzt 45€ nehme und in einem normalen Restaurant esse, sei es ein Italiener oder ein frischeres Restaurant so bekomme ich für das Geld wahrscheinlich das doppelte an Leistung. Zumal ich mein essen nicht selbst abholen muss und die Teller abräume sondern alles im Servicepreis inkl ist. Hier muss ich warten, bezahlen, sitzen, essen, abräumen Es ist eigentlich sehr traurig, dass solch ein Laden hier sich Kantine nennen darf und auch noch Leute hier hingehen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aber die Qualität vom Essen ziemlich schlecht. Das Buffet sehr teuer, denn man zahlt nach Gewicht. Frikadelle mit einer Handvoll Bratkartoffeln und ein Löffel Pilze 9,80 €. Das Fleisch vom Jägerschnitzel war wiederholt gewärmt und schmeckte entsprechend alt. Der Preis von 12.90 € deshalb nicht gerechtfertigt. Schade, aber nur das freundliche Personal reicht nicht.

Wollte heute dort ein Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes essen, für 13 EUR. Positiv: Pommers waren ok. ABER. ich kann mich nicht erinnern in der näheren oder längeren Vergangenheit so etwas Schlechtes wie das Schnitzel und die "Soße" erhalten zu haben. Billigstes Convenience Zeugs. Schnitzel zäh, trocken und schmeckte alt, Die sog. Soße war ein undefiniertes Glibberzeug. Völlig ungenügend.

Schnitzel nicht durch. Daraufhin wurde es zurückgenommen und ein neues gebracht, welches genau so war. Das konnte ich meinem Kind nicht zumuten.

I liked everything about this place. They had options, almost like a buffet style, but you paid for the food by the weight of the plate. I also think you pay for some of the things on the plate outside of the weight of every other thing else. It was expensive! I had my mouth gaping wide open at the price I paid for this amount of food on the plate. It was a nice experience, but not one I would make a habit of repeating often

Haben heute dort gegessen, soweit war das Essen ganz okay, aber sie Salatpreise sollten mal überdacht werden. Für einen Minisalat 6,00€ zu nehmen kann ich nur unverschämt nennen.

Endroit très propre personnel accueillant et très sympathique.

Uns gefällt die freundliche Bedienung und vor allem die Hygiene Maßnahmen. Ich kann das Frühstückangebot sowie die wechselnden Angebote am Mittagstisch Heute gab es Entekeule mit Kartoffeklöse und Apfelrotkohl für 9.98 €auch passend ein Glas Rot- oder Rosewein. Auch der Cremant ist sehr preisgünstig 2.29€ Ich empfehle wenn sie in der Stadt Saarbrücken sind Galaria Kaufhof mit dem Dinea Restaurant einmal besuchen.Die Preise sprechen für sich
