GALERIA Restaurant in Wiesbaden

Today I had a delicious ribeye steak with fresh chanterelle mushrooms. It's truly amazing, you can really indulge yourself. The salad buffet and hot buffet have a huge selection. There's something for everyone. Breakfast is a bargain for just €5. Thank you very much. See you soon.

I come to eat at Galeria Restaurant Wiesbaden three times a week, the food was always very tasty with you. Currently the food is completely inedible, dry as shoe leather, unseasoned and cold, overcooked vegetables. The only good thing is the lunch counter has lots of fresh vegetable selections

Far too expensive, outdated, and the restrooms need renovation. We visited a Galeria restaurant again today after a long time. The prices were always lower than those of regular restaurants/bars. Those days are over. I can get a salad plate at my favorite Italian restaurant for less than here, unbelievable. Good reviews are probably from the restaurant's own employees, so they don't close down. The worst part is the restrooms. The urinals stink of urine, and the restrooms are completely outdated; they haven't been renovated in at least 25 years. The restaurant also needs renovations (see pictures). An escalator seems to squeak all day, poor employees. Conclusion: Not us anymore!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant again on Thursday after a break, and I can only say I'm thrilled! My wife helped herself to the buffet, and I had the burger and fries. The new management has truly brought a breath of fresh air to the restaurant. The menu offers an excellent selection of balanced and fresh dishes that are not only delicious but also creatively prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—you immediately feel welcome. They took the time to make recommendations and ensure we had everything we needed. The prices may have increased, but they're more than fair considering the quality of the food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit! A true gem in the city!

Everything is delicious, but the old Turkish cashier with glasses at the checkout openly haggled for a one-euro tip.

So the salad tasted good😂 you can't go wrong. CLEANLINESS leaves a lot to be desired, the first plate I grabbed was dirty, the second plate too. On the third try I got a clean plate. Glasses were also dirty 😒 and when I grabbed my cutlery at the checkout, there was still dirt on the knife... Just take a closer look when tidying up, dear restaurant team

These are all warmed up "convinience products (lunch & salads). Nothing is fresh, it had no taste and is absolutely not recommended. It's a shame and for an average of €12.95 per guest.

I used to enjoy being here but I have to say: shame on you! I was only halfway through eating and I felt sick. I don't understand so much oil on RICE. Vegetables were overcooked and everything had almost no taste. According to my partner, the daily menu probably goes down to the beans today, because they were cold(!) I don't like to eat, but paying almost €13 for a plate and hardly getting anything edible is a shame. The only good thing was the two small sausages I took. I could still understand the fat on it. In addition, as far as I have seen, there are no allergen lists attached to the “deals”.

Great food. High quality cuisine. Varied menus, as well as coffee/tea and cake. Nice bistro.

Who doesn't know why Galeria doesn't cover its costs?! Only quality prevails and not convenience.

I ate there with my family a few days ago and I have to say it was very tasty. A young man with glasses is very friendly and helpful and thank you to the whole team :).

Ich war jetzt schön öfters in dem unscheinbar wirkenden Restaurant und muss zugeben, dass ich wirklich begeistert bin! Es gibt eine grosse und tolle Auswahl an vegetarischem Essen und die qualität ist super! Frische lebensmittel und auch frische Säfte gibt es dort. Ein großes Lob geht an die Mitarbeiter, die stets bemüht und sehr freundlich sind. Ich komme gerne wieder- weiter so! :)

The service at this restaurant is truly a blessing in times like these. A nice smile and a little conversation make your day, I'm always grateful when I visit. There is a nice lunch offer, including coffee and cake. I also tried the Saturday brunch with my mother and EVERYTHING was really great! So if you want to eat in a pleasant atmosphere, this is the right place for you.

Wir haben zu dritt den Samstagsbrunch gewählt in Wiesbaden. Nachdem wir sehr nett von einer Mitarbeiterin empfangen wurden und den wunderschön gedeckten Tisch vorfanden, haben wir sehr lecker gebruncht. Eine Wasserkaraffe mit einzelnen Zitronen-, Orangen- und Gurkenscheiben wurde uns auch noch serviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Auf ein Stück Kuchen zum Nachmittagskaffee mußten wir aufgrund von Sättigung leider verzichten. Wir können den Brunch bestens weiter empfehlen!

Klassisches Kaufhaus Restaurant im zeitlos gepflegten Stiel.

Ich trinke fast täglich einen Kaffee bei Karstadt. Mir fällt auf, dass auf die Abgabe der Meldezettel nicht ausreichend geachtet wird.

Wenn man früh genug da ist, ist das Frühstück ok..... Große Auswahl.....

Es war ganz ok. Ich hatte ein Stück Tiramisu und einen Milchkaffee, er war sehr dünn und nicht besonders heiß. Aber für den Gesamtpreis von noch nicht einmal 5€ darf man nicht großartig meckern.

Das Wiesbadener Karstadt Restaurant bietet solide zubereitete Speisen zu angemessenen Preisen. Vornehmlich wird hier die gute alte, gutbürgerliche deutsche Küche geboten, die Gäste haben entsprechend meist ein hohes Durchschnittsalter. Haute cuisine ist wohl nicht beabsichtigt u. somit reduziert sich der Genuss u. das Ambiente auf gutes Kantinen-Niveau.

Eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten. Für Jeden gibt es was, egal ob warm oder kalt, deftig oder süss. Das Personal ist nett und erfüllt jeden Wunsch. Unter der Woche ist die Atmosphäre sicher etwas ruhiger als Samstag. Für mich war es persönlich zu hecktisch, lag wahrscheinlich daran an der falschen Platzwahl. Ich empfehle einen Platz am Fenster oder an der hinteren Wand.

Pfeffersteak mit Pommes für 7,99€ plus mittlerer Teller Schmorgemüse für 5,99€. Das Steak war ganz gut, aber leider komplett kalt. Lag wohl schon eine halbe Stunde in der Auslage, obwohl wir schon um 11 Uhr da waren. War nicht zum ersten Mal kalt. Das darf nicht vorkommen. Das Schmorgemüse schmeckte sehr gut. Ambiente geht natürlich in Richtung Kantine. Wenn ihr es schaft das Essen heiss zu machen gibt's 4 Sterne. Update: heute war das Pfeffersteak tatsächlich heiß! Also gebe ich heute 4 Sterne. Aber aktuell Januar 2020 kostet es 8,99€.

Gutes Essen und eine Menge Auswahl! Punkt Abzug für etwas zu hohe Preise.
