We went there with friends for dinner, and everyone really enjoyed the food. The team always puts a lot of effort into the food, and you can tell they're still cooking with real, authentic ingredients.

The entrance to the restaurant is at the end of a passage, but it's easy to find! You're greeted warmly and shown to your table. The service was super fast, incredibly friendly, and very helpful when it came to choosing dishes. The menu features very creative dishes, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented! :) Unfortunately, it was already too late for photos :D

Sehr interessante, vielseitige und auch für Vegetarier (und Veganer) gut ausgestattete Speisekarte. Sehr freundliche, pfiffige und engagierte Bedienung. Schöne und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Location inklusive bequemer Stühle. Das bestellte Essen (Vegi-Burger, Limonen-Pasta und Beilagensalate) war sehr (!) lecker, schmackhaft und frisch. Ein großes Kompliment dafür! Etwas schade war, dass wir mit länger aufs Essen warten mussten und dass wir nicht vorab - also vor der Bestellung - informiert wurden, welche Gerichte ausgegangen waren. Aber das gute Essen und der nette Service haben es wieder wettgemacht. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu anderen Hilpoltsteiner Restaurants höher, dafür ist das Essen auch spezieller.

Very good service and very good food! We had burgers. The ingredients are locally sourced and everything is freshly prepared, which you could taste. The team at Fürstenhof is very friendly and attentive. We'd be happy to go back!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Based on the positive reviews, we finally wanted to try the "new" restaurant. We checked the menu online beforehand and were looking forward to delicious burgers, which are also a main part of the menu. We received a very friendly welcome and, after a short wait, were shown to our table. However, when we ordered (!) our food, we were informed that unfortunately they could no longer prepare vegetarian or vegan burgers. I was very disappointed about this, and the other options were very limited. I find it particularly disappointing that we were only informed of this when ordering. It can happen that something runs out, but then guests should be informed immediately when the menu is handed out and not when the order is taken. The curry we ordered as a vegetarian alternative was very spicy, but otherwise fine; I wouldn't go to this restaurant for that. We were also negatively affected by the very high prices for the drinks, and the food is anything but good value for money. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back.

We celebrated our civil wedding with about 20 people at Fürstenhof by Shepherds. The planning and communication with Johannes in advance was very reliable, and we felt completely taken care of. On the day itself, everything was also top-notch. Despite one server being unavailable, the service was 10/10. The food, as usual, was incredibly delicious – all of our guests were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere in the beer garden was also very idyllic. Highly recommended!

Wir waren mit der Familie zum Geburtstag feiern hier beim Essen. Erstmal haben wir über eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet. Nach Beschwerde sind wir noch weitere zwei Mal vertröstet worden. Dann waren die Burger gerade mal lauwarm und die anderen Gerichte (u.a. Tofu Teriyaki) geschmacklich wirklich fade. Einzig die Serviceleute sind recht positiv zu erwähnen. Sie haben irgendwie versucht, die Situation zu retten, aber der Abend war leider gelaufen.

Absolutely recommend it! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and super friendly service. I'd love to come back and am already looking forward to trying out the lovely beer garden (the weather wasn't so great today). Thanks for the lovely evening!

It's hard to put into words how incredibly diverse the food is, great flavors that work well together, bold but also very fine creations and great plate preparation. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Nice interior and good seating, although a bit small with a beer garden. The toilet was very clean and smelled good.

Excellent! The food and homemade drinks are extremely tasty. All ingredients are high quality and regional. The origin of the food is immediately clear and explained on a regional map. The entire concept and ambience are exceptional and yet coherent. This creates a feel-good atmosphere at its best. The service was friendly, gave good advice and patiently addressed any intolerances. Anyone who has been there once will come back. If you haven't been there yet, you should definitely do so.

We celebrated our wedding at Shepherds and were very happy with this decision. The food was excellent and well coordinated, the service was very friendly and attentive and overall we and our guests felt very comfortable. Thanks to good weather we were even able to use the beautiful courtyard/garden. We would celebrate our wedding here again at any time and can only warmly recommend this location. We were there on Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. We were the first guests. We were told that the kitchen would open later today (at 6 p.m.) because there was a wedding taking place. In the meantime we had something to drink. At 6:00 p.m. we wanted to order something to eat. We were told again by the young waitress that it would take a little longer for the food. So far everything hasn't been a problem. I went there on a recommendation and was really looking forward to the food. We ordered orange curry with chicken twice. For a portion of EUR 16.50 there were exactly 2 small pieces of chicken on the plate. The taste was actually good but unfortunately I went home hungry. The sauce was also very thin. I often eat curry, but I've never experienced such a small portion for such a high price and with just a few pieces of meat. We passed it on to the waitress but there was no response from the kitchen. Although I really enjoyed the garden area, I was very disappointed with the food. Otherwise I would have liked to go there more often. Maybe we ordered the wrong food. Too bad!

Personally, the atmosphere is too dark and dim for me. The upholstery of the seating is so soft and wobbly that I didn't like sitting on it. otherwise everything is good. thumbs up.

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. There is also a meat-free offer in this category. Vegan? Maybe, maybe not. We had the crispy tofu teriyaki and the cabbage roll with plant based hack. Service was very friendly, but unfortunately, when asked, it was not possible to say whether the dish was vegetarian or vegan, and there was also no indication on the menu. This should definitely be explained using a simple symbol or something similar. What we really liked is that emphasis is placed on regional products and offers. Edit: Vegan dishes are now marked on the menu 👍

We were there about 2 weeks ago and my wife had a burger and I had a cabbage roll. Both very, very tasty. And now shame on me, I didn't even realize that the cabbage roll was vegan. Didn't read the menu properly :-) I didn't taste any difference. The sauce was amazing. The burger was great, the service was very nice and accommodating. We will come back in any case.

Exceptionally delicious! Here we make magic with high-quality, regional products and everything is homemade (!!!). That's what you have to do first in this day and age of convenience madness. The menu is varied and creative. There is something for every taste - from vegans to classic meat eaters. The service is personable, courteous, friendly, professional. Even the smallest details are taken into account. We felt welcome and pampered as guests. Recommend you enjoy the complete program: starter, main course, dessert!

Everything was done right here! A well thought-out concept with regional products at the center. So the price/performance ratio is right here. As a vegan and vegetarian you will definitely find what you are looking for here. I had the salad with polenta corners and the hip chips and was very happy with my choice. The cocktails are also well selected and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and friendly. Plus points for the wonderful decor and atmosphere. A rare find in the area. Definitely not my last visit :)

Sind auf Empfehlung hier gelandet. Am Eingang durften wir erst einmal eine Weile warten, bis wir zum Platz geleitet wurden. Mein Kind musste seine Jacke anbehalten, so kalt war es. Und es war nicht der einzige Gast, der gefroren hat. Das Essen kam nach gut einer Stunde, obwohl nicht viel los war.. Kindern einen halbgaren Burger zu servieren, finde ich fragwürdig. Die Kartoffelscheiben als Beilage waren kalt und lätschig. Dem Bier fehlte die Kohlensäure gänzlich. Hatten uns mehr versprochen und werden nicht mehr hier essen. Sehr schade.. P.S.: Stern 3 ist für die "Nachspeise". Die Plätzchen und das Stollenkonfekt waren sehr lecker.

Kleines Restaurant mit sehr schönem Ambiente, netten Personal und sehr feinem Essen. Bei der Zusammenstellung der Gerichte wurde sich offensichtlich Gedanken gemacht und mit Liebe zubereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein sehr schönes Ambiente im "alten" Fürstenhof. Das Klientiel ist schön. Der Service bombisch nett (es gab extra mini Kuchen zum Espresso). Das Essen war mega lecker und die Brötchen kommen aus heimischen Bäckerbetrieb Distler in Offenbau! Ein junges, dynamisches, wunderbares, leckerer Besuch! Preis-Leistung SUPER! 6 von 5 Sternen! Endlich wieder ein kulinarisches Highlight in Hilpoltstein, hervorragendes Essen, egal ob jetzt der Burger oder Veggie! Location super schön renoviert! Wir kommen gerne und jederzeit wieder! Besonders herausragend ist der Service und die Freundlichkeit - da können sich andere Lokalitäten mit Hotel am Marktplatz in HIP mal wieder etwas abschauen! :-)

Wenn ich könnte würde ich 8 Sterne geben. Ob der Service aber auch die Küche und das Ambiente, es gibt einfach nichts zu bemängeln. Wir kommen wieder, vielen Dank
