Wir waren begeistert von unserem Besuch bei Fürstenhof by Shepherds. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und lädt sofort zum Wohlfühlen ein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, das den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem macht. Das Essen war hervorragend – nicht nur geschmacklich ein absoluter Genuss, sondern auch optisch ein echtes Highlight. Jedes Gericht war mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet und zeigte, wie viel Leidenschaft hier in der Küche steckt. Man merkt sofort, dass großer Wert auf Qualität, Frische und eine ansprechende Präsentation gelegt wird. Wer gutes Essen, ein tolles Ambiente und herzlichen Service schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! 😊

Wir waren schon vor unserer Hochzeit ein paar Mal zum Eessen im Shepherds und waren jedes Mal begeistert. Deshalb stand für uns schnell fest, dass wir dort auch unsere Hochzeit feiern möchten – und wir hätten wirklich keinen besseren Ort dafür wählen können! ❤️ Besonders wichtig war uns das vegetarische Essen, und dass wir nicht so ein typisches Hochzeitsessen bekommen. Die Gerichte waren unglaublich lecker, kreativ und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch die Gäste waren total begeistert! Wir durften die wunderschönen Räumlichkeiten für unsere Feier mieten und das Team hat extra für uns bereits tagsüber geöffnet – das war absolut nicht selbstverständlich und hat unseren Tag noch besonderer gemacht. Auch Chef Johannes hat sich beim Besprechungstermin unglaublich lieb um uns und all unsere Wünsche gekümmert. Man hat einfach gemerkt, mit wie viel Herz dort gearbeitet wird. Leider war das Wetter an unserem Hochzeitstag etwas wechselhaft, weshalb wir den wunderschönen Außenbereich nicht nutzen konnten – aber selbst dadurch wurde unser Tag nicht weniger perfekt. Der Service war aufmerksam, herzlich und professionell, sodass wir unseren Tag einfach nur genießen konnten. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für diesen unvergesslichen Tag in 2025 – wir kommen definitiv immer wieder! 😊

Ein bisschen versteckt, aber unbedingt hingehen! Super nette junge Leute und leckeres, hochwertiges, gesundes Essen! Für Leute, die nicht immer das Standard-Biergarten-Essen möchten. Burger und Gartenschüssel sehr zu empfehlen!

Ich war nun schon zum dritten Mal im Sheperds, aus gutem Grund 😉 Hervorragendes Essen, mit Produkten aus der Region. Preis-Leistung 👍🏻 Service ist freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, bei schönem Wetter lädt ein kleiner Garten zum Genießen ein.

Sehr schönes Lokal und freundliches Personal, das Schnitzel mit Bacon Zwiebel Panade bekommt ☆☆☆☆☆ war der Burner, der Frühlings Burger bekommt ☆☆ da das Patty verbrannt war, Teriyaki Chicken bekommt ☆☆☆. Unser Hund war herzlichst Willkommen ☆☆☆☆☆ Im ganzen ein schönes Lokal !

Alles super lecker gewesen und man weiß wo die guten Produkte herkommen. Den Preis finde ich dafür in Ordnung. Das Fleisch war schön zart, die Soße war würzig und die Pommes knusprig. Alles wie es sein soll. Die Bedienung war auch sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Demnächst folgt der Michelin Stern. Sensationell in der Speisenvielfallt und deren Creativität.

Ein wunderbares Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen und großartigem Service! Ein sehr gemütlicher Ort, den man unbedingt besuchen sollte. Die Speisen sind auf höchstem Niveau, und auch der Service verdient ein besonderes Lob. Die junge Frau, die uns bedient hat, war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und die ganze Zeit überlächelnd. So ein gutes Abendessen haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen, und der Nachtisch war einfach ein Traum! Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, aber ganz bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal. Michalina

Ich liebe das Konzept, ausschließlich regionale Zutaten zu verwenden und einen Großteil der Beilagen selbst herzustellen (zum Beispiel sogar den Ketchup). Das Essen war super lecker und auch der Service war top.

Wir hatten uns spontan für das Valentinstags Menü angemeldet und haben es nicht bereut! Das Essen hat unfassbar genial geschmeckt, die Verschmelzung von eher simplen Zutaten zu einem wirklich sehr gelungenen und leckeren Gericht auf sehr ansprechende Weise angerichtet, der mehr als liebevoll dekorierte Tisch, der Service unglaublich aufmerksam und freundlich, Ambiente sehr angenehm, selbst die unaufdringliche musikalische Auswahl war super, einfach ein absolut schöner Abend, gerne wieder! Zum Abschied gab es für die Damen sogar noch eine Rose, vielen lieben Dank 😊

Wer Wert auf ehrliche Küche ohne "Fertigfutter" legt, ist hier genau richtig. Bei unserem zweiten Besuch im Shepherd’s hat uns die Qualität der Speisen wieder einmal umgehauen. Alles ist handgemacht, bis hin zur leckeren Limonade. Das Team im Service ist sehr herzlich und hat ein tolles Auge für die Gäste. Ein absolutes Highlight in der Region!

Wir waren hier mit meinem Schwager plus Familie da das Lokal mittig zwischen unseren Wohnorten liegt. Es war okay hier zu essen. Hatten alle Burger, ich hatte meinen durch aufgrund von Schwangerschaft. Sie Bürger waren Oka, habe schon bessere gegessen. Die Pommes waren gut, der Salat hätte deutlich mehr Dressing vertragen. Unser Sohn hatte ein Kindermenü (Schnitzel mit Pommes) und mein Mann ebenfalls einen Burger (Weihnachts Special) ihm hat er "ganz gut" geschmeckt. Die Getränke waren mittelmäßig, hatte eine Limo die nicht viel nach dem geschmeckt hat was ich bestellt hatte und unser Sohn wollte eine Stille Apfelschorle das ging nicht da die Getränke wohl bereits gemischt kommen...? Alles in allem OK würde hier jetzt aber nicht mehr unbedingt zum Essen kommen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen. Die Portionen sind groß, vor allem die Burger, und es schmeckt himmlisch. Schön ist auch, dass es eine ausgewogne vegane und vegetarische Auswahl gibt. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und schön, man kann sich gut unterhalten. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Schön ist zudem, dass mit saisonalen und regionalen Zutaten gekocht wird! Großes Lob, macht weiter so :)

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant und ganz leckeres Essen 😊 Super, dass mit frischen regionalen Zutaten gekocht wird und es doch auch mal ausgefallene Gerichte gibt. Die Karte ist auch nicht all zu üppig was ich immer sehr gut finde.

Einzigartige, delikate, kreative Küche! Jedes Gericht gibt es auch in vegetarischer Form. Jede Jahreszeit wechselt die Speisekarte. The entrance to the restaurant is at the end of a passage, but it's easy to find! You're greeted warmly and shown to your table. The service was super fast, incredibly friendly, and very helpful when it came to choosing dishes. The menu features very creative dishes, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented! :) Unfortunately, it was already too late for photos :D

Sehr interessante, vielseitige und auch für Vegetarier (und Veganer) gut ausgestattete Speisekarte. Sehr freundliche, pfiffige und engagierte Bedienung. Schöne und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Location inklusive bequemer Stühle. Das bestellte Essen (Vegi-Burger, Limonen-Pasta und Beilagensalate) war sehr (!) lecker, schmackhaft und frisch. Ein großes Kompliment dafür! Etwas schade war, dass wir mit länger aufs Essen warten mussten und dass wir nicht vorab - also vor der Bestellung - informiert wurden, welche Gerichte ausgegangen waren. Aber das gute Essen und der nette Service haben es wieder wettgemacht. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu anderen Hilpoltsteiner Restaurants höher, dafür ist das Essen auch spezieller.

We celebrated our civil wedding with about 20 people at Fürstenhof by Shepherds. The planning and communication with Johannes in advance was very reliable, and we felt completely taken care of. On the day itself, everything was also top-notch. Despite one server being unavailable, the service was 10/10. The food, as usual, was incredibly delicious – all of our guests were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere in the beer garden was also very idyllic. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Based on the positive reviews, we finally wanted to try the "new" restaurant. We checked the menu online beforehand and were looking forward to delicious burgers, which are also a main part of the menu. We received a very friendly welcome and, after a short wait, were shown to our table. However, when we ordered (!) our food, we were informed that unfortunately they could no longer prepare vegetarian or vegan burgers. I was very disappointed about this, and the other options were very limited. I find it particularly disappointing that we were only informed of this when ordering. It can happen that something runs out, but then guests should be informed immediately when the menu is handed out and not when the order is taken. The curry we ordered as a vegetarian alternative was very spicy, but otherwise fine; I wouldn't go to this restaurant for that. We were also negatively affected by the very high prices for the drinks, and the food is anything but good value for money. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back.

Wir waren mit der Familie zum Geburtstag feiern hier beim Essen. Erstmal haben wir über eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet. Nach Beschwerde sind wir noch weitere zwei Mal vertröstet worden. Dann waren die Burger gerade mal lauwarm und die anderen Gerichte (u.a. Tofu Teriyaki) geschmacklich wirklich fade. Einzig die Serviceleute sind recht positiv zu erwähnen. Sie haben irgendwie versucht, die Situation zu retten, aber der Abend war leider gelaufen.

Simply fantastic!! Inconspicuous from the outside but very cozy from the inside. The service was very nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty, fresh and arrived relatively quickly, despite the restaurant being full. I like the regional concept and it also has a positive effect on the taste. It's hard to put into words how incredibly diverse the food is, great flavors that work well together, bold but also very fine creations and great plate preparation. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Nice interior and good seating, although a bit small with a beer garden. The toilet was very clean and smelled good.

Excellent! The food and homemade drinks are extremely tasty. All ingredients are high quality and regional. The origin of the food is immediately clear and explained on a regional map. The entire concept and ambience are exceptional and yet coherent. This creates a feel-good atmosphere at its best. The service was friendly, gave good advice and patiently addressed any intolerances. Anyone who has been there once will come back. If you haven't been there yet, you should definitely do so.

We celebrated our wedding at Shepherds and were very happy with this decision. The food was excellent and well coordinated, the service was very friendly and attentive and overall we and our guests felt very comfortable. Thanks to good weather we were even able to use the beautiful courtyard/garden. We would celebrate our wedding here again at any time and can only warmly recommend this location. We registered at short notice and they still accepted us despite the house being full. The service was absolutely friendly, quick and courteous. The food is simply delicious with locally sourced ingredients. All in all it was a really great evening. Thanks!

We were there on Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. We were the first guests. We were told that the kitchen would open later today (at 6 p.m.) because there was a wedding taking place. In the meantime we had something to drink. At 6:00 p.m. we wanted to order something to eat. We were told again by the young waitress that it would take a little longer for the food. So far everything hasn't been a problem. I went there on a recommendation and was really looking forward to the food. We ordered orange curry with chicken twice. For a portion of EUR 16.50 there were exactly 2 small pieces of chicken on the plate. The taste was actually good but unfortunately I went home hungry. The sauce was also very thin. I often eat curry, but I've never experienced such a small portion for such a high price and with just a few pieces of meat. We passed it on to the waitress but there was no response from the kitchen. Although I really enjoyed the garden area, I was very disappointed with the food. Otherwise I would have liked to go there more often. Maybe we ordered the wrong food. Too bad!
