Went there for the first time recently and never again 7 euros for a doner kebab that's filled like a sandwich with hardly any meat in it, we were very disappointed.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my visit to your restaurant. The service provided by your staff was very poor and unprofessional. I ordered a chicken pizza, but there were only seven small pieces of chicken on the entire pizza. The cheese was of very poor quality and had an extremely unpleasant odor, making the pizza practically inedible. I paid €14 for a pizza of this poor quality, which is in no way justified. I remembered the place being better. I've rarely eaten such a thin dürüm. At that price, it's outrageous.

Furat used to be fantastic, and we were always excited when someone said, "We're going to Furat's." Unfortunately, the place has gone downhill. The chair cushions are completely worn out and look unhygienic. There were food scraps lying around in the corners. I can understand if there's a leftover fry under the table from the previous customer, but what I saw today had obviously been there for weeks. It's just a shame. The price-performance ratio isn't right for me anymore either. We used to be happy to pay €1-2 more than elsewhere because the quality and portion sizes were so good. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. €9-10 for a Turkish pizza now costs about the same everywhere, but the contents here were significantly less than at comparable restaurants. It was almost all red cabbage, lots of sauce, and hardly any meat – rolled up very thinly. That's really disappointing for the price. I usually only write positive reviews, but I just wanted to give others an honest assessment here.

I ate there for the first time today and I have to say it was very tasty. Definitely one of the best doner kebabs in Kerpen. The bulgur and the fries were especially delicious.

We ordered: 2x durum with beef 1x fries 1x pizza 1x rice The durum, fries, and pizza were acceptable, but the rice was absolutely inedible. It was very dry and had a distinctly burnt aftertaste. I left the rice and mentioned this at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, no empathy was shown and no compensation was offered. The cashier's only response was, "I ate it too, and it was delicious."

I'm very disappointed to have paid almost €15 for a doner kebab that tasted disgusting afterwards and gave me a real stomachache. For the first five or six years, the quality was consistently high. Today's visit, however, was a complete disaster. 😞 The display looked neglected, there were no waiters on hand, the grill was off (!), and there was pizza dough and flour lying around everywhere. The bread came straight from a bag—absolutely disappointing. 🥖💤 The place is now in a truly unpleasant state: torn, scratched chairs, and generally very dirty. There was even insect droppings on the toilet door frames. The kebab itself is simply unacceptable for the price, as are the drinks. They used to serve drinks in glasses; you could tell they valued quality. Now, unfortunately, it's the exact opposite. 🥤⬇️ Conclusion: A shop that used to set standards has unfortunately completely fallen apart. A real shame! And definitely not recommended anymore. 👎 Time for a new owner!

The wait was very long for a snack. The dürüm was very small. The price was not reasonable. Update: 6 hours after eating: I vomited my guts out and am lying in bed shaking, probably with food poisoning. Extreme caution is advised.

I'm truly disappointed and angry after my visit to Furat in Kerpen. I ordered a takeaway doner kebab, and then came the cheeky announcement: "This isn't a bakery, we don't serve bread"—not even for an extra charge! For me, as a lover of Turkish cuisine, flatbread is simply a must; a doner kebab just doesn't work without it. I've rarely experienced such rude and unfriendly service. And the "salad complete"? What a joke! Just onions, some red cabbage, and lettuce leaves—no fresh tomatoes, no cucumbers, nothing you'd expect from a proper doner salad. It was completely uninspired and left me really disappointed. It feels like they don't even want to bother preparing the food properly. It's a shame that such a traditional and popular dish is served so poorly here. I definitely won't be eating here again—I don't recommend it at all!

Very disappointed. The food was mediocre; the fries took longer than the doner kebabs. The service was so-so. The seating is junk; the faux leather is completely ripped. !!! Not recommended !!! Only 7% VAT is charged on the receipt, even though you sat down and ate there. Anyone familiar with tax law knows what's going on. The looks you get when you ask for the receipt are unfriendly, and the incomprehensible, non-German words are definitely not meant to be kind.

Doner kebab is delicious and really quick. However, having only about 20 grams of meat per "doner" is an absolute rip-off for €8.

It was dirty, the chairs were sticky where there was even a trace of faux leather left. The fries were inedible, soaked with old grease and browned accordingly. There was no mayonnaise at the chip shop! The kebab was also disgusting and the price was way too high for the quantity. On top of that, I had diarrhea for three days! Never again!!

Ate there for lunch. The rooms were noticeably cold, and the man behind the counter wasn't very enthusiastic. He handed us a receiver that beeped when the food was ready, even though there were only four of us in the restaurant. Not inviting - sorry...

We used to enjoy eating there. Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend it today. Firstly, the tables were dirty even though there was absolutely no one in the place. We ordered dürüm and lamacun, and we got (sorry) tiny, tightly rolled dough rolls. The meat and salad were really sparingly served. On top of that, the red cabbage was extremely sour and inedible for me, which was a shame. After we mentioned that we thought there was very little meat in the dough rolls, we were told, "Why, it's stable!" An absolute disgrace, I must say. We'll never be back; what a shame about the place.

The food had to be improvised again. This time the reason: the grill was broken. The Turkish pizza was borderline subpar, with too much sauce (mayo??), the salad was soggy, etc. Unfriendly service. They asked for cash when paying, even though the debit card machine appeared to be working. The icing on the cake was the mold on the toilet walls. This was truly my last visit! What a shame! It used to be a delicious, highly recommended restaurant!

Best kebab I've ever eaten! The meat was perfect, the bread was fresh, and the sauces were top-notch. The service was super friendly and attentive – when I asked for pepperoni, they immediately explained that it was very hot, and we even got to try it first. The food was half-cold, the tzatziki wasn't a real tzatziki, but a mayonnaise mixture—simply disgusting. The fries were questionable, and the salad was inedible. For us, this was our last visit to Furat.

One of the few restaurants open on Sundays. We ordered a döner box and a döner sandwich. The food was excellent, and we got free vegetables with the box, which was nice.

Good döner kebab in Kerpen's Outlet Center. I was there on a Saturday evening and waited 30 minutes for a dürüm and a shawarma. I've only ever experienced such an incredible wait at Mustafa's Gemüse Kebab, which is known throughout Germany and not as poorly rated as Furat Restaurant (3.2). The atmosphere wasn't relaxed; it was far too crowded, loud, and lively. It certainly empties during the week, though. The dürüm tasted good for the hefty price of €8.50. It was well-balanced with salad and meat, and the tender meat deserves praise, and it came with delicious tzatziki. The ingredients seem really fresh, and the salad was freshly made behind the counter. Conclusion: The dürüm and döner are worth it IF IT'S EMPTY, otherwise you'll be waiting half the day. Hence, just 4 stars, as I don't think the 3.2 rating is justified.

Unfortunately, it's deteriorated considerably, so I'm dropping my application. The meat was burnt, and mayo doesn't go on the fries. It's been steadily declining for years.

The food is good. Everything is freshly prepared. Drinks are far too expensive (and without a deposit label, so they're bought from abroad; selling such drinks is actually prohibited), and the kebab is also too expensive in my opinion. That's why it's much less busy. I only come very rarely these days, but it's still better than American fast food. Portion of fries €4/€5... No, sorry... fries, oil are cheaper to buy than before Corona, and electricity isn't. Labor wages? Well, that's right.

We went there for dinner. The lahmacun was very sparsely filled. The durum was also sparsely filled. Prices were very high, which I find incomprehensible. You won't get full from one dish, and I think you should, given the prices. I definitely won't go there again.

The food used to be really delicious. Today, it's not particularly tasty and very expensive, given what you get.

In the past, we were happy to make the trip from Cologne to enjoy a good meal here. Unfortunately, our impression changed significantly during today's visit. The flatbread was too thick, dry, and only half filled; the other half was simply bread with no filling or sauce. The salad in the doner kebab was minimal: no tomatoes, no cucumbers, and very poorly prepared. I asked the man behind the counter why the bread had been changed. Instead of giving me a reasonable answer, he simply said the bread had always been like that – which is definitely not true. The bread used to be much thinner and triangular in shape. So it wasn't just different, it was also better. The way they handled our request to have some rice instead of fries for our two-year-old child's doner box was particularly disappointing. They couldn't do that; instead, we had to order a full doner plate. They weren't accommodating when we asked. In the end, we had to get a kebab box with fries – completely incomprehensible and unfriendly to customers. We've made it clear: We won't be eating here again.

The €14 doner kebab plate was way too expensive, even if it had at least tasted good. The salad wasn't washed, there were grains of sand (?) in it, and the chicken was mushy. First time there and won't be back!

I can honestly say it's the best döner I've ever eaten.

Rip-off! They charge €12.50 for a small falafel durum with a 0.2 l Coke. According to the menu, the durum costs €8.50. The drink prices aren't even posted. When I asked, I was told that the feta cheese (which was only present in traces on the sandwich) costs an extra €1.50. This is because the feta cheese is listed among the items that are mandatory and are actually included in the price. By the way, the food wasn't tasty either. The falafel was completely over-fried and dry, the sauce was tasteless, and the bread was wobbly from being undercooked. The place is nicely decorated, if only the tables weren't so sticky... What a shame! Once and never again!

We've rarely eaten so badly. We've actually come from Cologne to eat there several times, but the quality has deteriorated so much. I've rarely experienced so little meat on a kebab: no cucumber, no tomato, and just dried-out lettuce. I can understand the reviews very well. When paying, I mentioned that we'd never eaten as badly as today. The employee wasn't interested and just shrugged his shoulders. The competition is fierce; we won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, I had an absolutely traumatic experience there as a woman. It wasn't my first time there, but it was my first time alone as a woman. I just wanted to order a kebab to go. Not only did the person behind the counter make completely inappropriate comments, but I was also subjected to severe harassment by guests/friends of the employees (unfortunately not in German, so no further details), without anyone intervening. Sexual harassment of women and catcalling are truly out of the question in 2025; in any case, they completely passed the shop by.

We had to have a serious argument with the kebab man and justify our extra sauce because it was served incorrectly. What happened to the shop???? We were there for the first time in a long time and we're at a loss for words. The last thing we needed was mice dancing around on the tables. Disappointing.

There's a reason I never come here. The staff are the rudest people I've ever met. I ask for a veal doner and am told they only serve chicken, even though it was obvious they also serve veal. Then someone ordered it and was given veal. It makes absolutely no sense. 😐

The place was dirty, the floor was sticky, the tables weren't wiped, and we waited a long time for our orders, even though there was hardly anyone there. The furniture is so worn that you don't want to sit down. As we ordered and looked around, we were worried about what the food would be like. It was still okay, nothing as delicious as it used to be. And we promptly put the drinks back in the fridge because there weren't any glasses or straws available. So, simply put: that was the last time we went there!

Hi, I'm telling you, the shop was really a blast and people really enjoyed going there. The service is now literally 0 when it comes to the food. Now and then you can only get a kebab if the kebab skewer is fresh, otherwise I advise you to stay away, it's really sad how the shop has developed! Small visit to this snack restaurant while recharging my car. There's a Tesla supercharger right across the street... I spotted it during my last visit to this supercharger, it was unfortunately too late for me to eat there. It’s done and done well. It's very very good.

You can eat really well people here! I discovered the store a while ago and I'm really impressed. Okay, the people behind the counter weren't particularly friendly, but it was already 8 p.m. and I came to eat. Doner plate completely natural😎 And wow, really good! The meat is great, the salads are fresh and the cocktail dressing was perfect. I really enjoyed it and I can only recommend the shop. One point deducted for the interior, the leather seats are partly torn and should be replaced. But hey, otherwise really great!😁

I had ordered chicken Dürüm, I got lamb Dürüm. I reminded the employees that I wanted chicken, I was told "can't you even eat lamb" when I said no they opened the same dürüm for me and only swapped the meat, by then the whole food was already cold and therefore inedible. I definitely won't come again

So, the worst kebab I've ever been to, from the service to the food or the people who work there and very unfriendly, and hygiene measures leave something to be desired. Sometimes sometimes it doesn't taste good, but I was more there for the lentil soup. First time it tasted good, second time water with color. I don't know how this store still works.

The shop was ice cold, the food was cold and the staff were unfriendly, we waited 30 minutes for the kebab plates and mine was cold. When I complained about it I was looked at more than askance and I've never received such a bad kebab plate before. I got more than half of it never let it lie down again. Not recommended sorry

Ladies and Gentlemen Today I was at the kebab shop at 7:24 p.m. as a long-time customer to order my food as usual. However, what I witnessed shocked me to the point where I felt sick - I can hardly believe something like this would happen in a public restaurant. A kebab roll fell to the floor. That alone would be an absolute no-go in a catering establishment. But instead of disposing of it properly, an employee stepped on it and then shamelessly put it in the oven! As if that wasn't disgusting enough, he then cheekily asked the next customer what ingredients he would like to have on his kebab. The store was packed and many patrons, including me, were horrified. We left the store immediately. The hygienic handling of food in this restaurant is simply catastrophic. The conditions behind the counter and in the sanitary facilities are also an imposition and shameful for every guest. These conditions should be examined urgently. I expressly appeal to the health department to immediately inspect this store and intervene accordingly. I will never enter this restaurant again and hope this review gives other people pause as well as the operators. What happened here is scandalous and completely unacceptable.

I ate there a few days ago, luckily for the first and last time... The service person doesn't seem to want customers. There are 5 people standing around, one of whom doesn't know what the other has to do. You have the feeling of not being welcome there. Doner costs €7 You get a salad worth €7. I don't know of a stingier shop than Furat. Staff stand around like underpaid students in mini-jobs. The meat skewer looked like rotisserie meat to me, so it was mostly minced meat. For good kebab better after Horrem Kebabji or Poldi Döner in the intro.

It takes forever to get the food ready, especially because of the drinks! There is no beer or wine - so no real restaurant!!! I only eat kebab with beer 🍻. Doner is ok for 2 stars.

Furat kebab in Kerpen. It was our first time eating here with the family and also the last time! Toilets absolute disaster. We ordered the mixed grill plate, half of the meat was extremely spicy. Inedible for me, as I don't eat spicy food, my husband, who always loves it very spicy, was surprised that it was too spicy even for him - let alone that we hadn't ordered any spicy food, even the lamb chops were for the trash can suitable, it was burned. After asking to replace it, they said it was intentional because it was the marinade that burned. I eat out a lot and rarely leave a restaurant hungry, and I never write reviews!

My first visit. Waited 20 minutes for a pizza. When I was allowed to pick it up it was only lukewarm. Staff is unfriendly. As a customer you are probably just annoying. There will be no second visit

What a mess, terrible...the kebab and rice were cold, the "salad" had shriveled leaves. When I complained about it, the employees thought it was funny and didn't change anything, outrageous. 42.00 euros for three kebab plates went to the trash...never go to this store again...

The food at the juice shop was more juicy and fat than the juice shop itself

We always enjoyed being here but it gets worse from time to time. A few days ago we were not treated like customers but like unwanted customers. German was never spoken and you felt very uncomfortable. Questions were answered incorrectly and when they spoke to you you had the feeling that everything was too much. The kebab was wrongly topped, the fries were wobbly and both were already cold. The pizza was so greasy that you couldn't even lift it. Dough was horrible. Stomach pain was included in everyone. Staff were asked about cold fries etc. and were fobbed off with a “then that’s just the way it is”. Furat will never see us or many of those around us again.

When you come in you will be treated like slaves instead of customers. You wait far too long for your food, after 15 minutes I left the store immediately, left everything lying there and didn't consume anything and left it lying there. This store is simply a lie in itself
