FURAT Restaurant in Kerpen

Jetzt ist mir dort schon wieder passiert. Vor Jahren habe ich dort etwas bestellen wollen, wurde aber anscheinend "übersehen"; nach mir gekommene Männer wurden vor mir dran gekommen. Nun wollte ich dem Laden noch einmal eine Chance geben. Ich stand an der Theke um zu bestellen, aber keiner der 3 jungen Männer nahm Notiz von mir. Nach einer 1/2 Min. habe ich den Laden verlassen. Ich gehe lieber in einen der benachbarten Imbissläden, wo man ein Minimum an Servicekultur pflegt.

Sehr guter Döner, ausserdem ist der service schnell, und sehr kundenfreundlich

Einstige Institution zum Scheitern verurteilt. Ich habe Furat vor 10+ Jahren fast wöchentlich besucht. Nachdem es schon nachgelassen hat, war der letzte Besuch eine reine Katastrophe. Service und Personal- maximal unfreundlich und lieblos im Umgang mit Kunden! Was habt ihr bitte mit dem Brot veranstaltet?! Furchtbar weich, dick, geschmacklos. Das wofür jeder kam - die Saucen! Wo ist die Rezeptur hin? Kräuter und Knoblauchsauce haben nach nichts mehr geschmeckt. Die Qualität leider unterirdisch. Salat pappig und das Rotkraut hat in 7 Minuten mehr Wasser im Döner verloren, als ich im Marathon bei 40 Grad. Traurig! Die nächsten 5 std danach - ein Highlight für den Gastroenterologen…

Wir sind seit längerer Zeit regelmäßige Kunden dieses Restaurants. Leider haben wir wiederholt eine unangenehme Erfahrung mit einem Mitarbeiter gemacht. Er fragte, ob wir aus Indien kommen. Nachdem ich das bestätigte, machte er übertriebene Gesten (gefaltete Hände) und sagte unverständliche Worte, die er mit Bollywood-Filmen in Verbindung brachte. Das Gleiche ist zuvor bereits meiner Frau passiert. Bei meinem letzten Besuch war deutlich zu erkennen, dass ich diese Bemerkungen weder verstand noch lustig fand, dennoch machte er weiter. Ob dies als Scherz gemeint war oder nicht – wir empfanden dieses Verhalten als respektlos und stereotypisierend gegenüber Menschen aus Indien. Als langjährige Kunden hätten wir uns einen respektvollen Umgang gewünscht. Aus diesem Grund fühlen wir uns dort leider nicht mehr wohl und werden das Restaurant künftig meiden.

Das Essen war köstlich. Allerdings waren viele Stühle kaputt, und die Toiletten waren weder besonders sauber noch rochen sie gut.

Weiß garnicht wo ich anfangen soll. Kommunikation mit dem Personal sehr schwierig und man begegnet einer sehr unhöflichen Aura. Ich bestellte einen Pomdöner, den ich aber vor Ort essen wollte. Dieser wurde dann in dem Karton serviert anstatt auf einem Teller. Ich bat um einen Teller und es wurde erst mal Politik gemacht, dass man keinen Teller rausgeben würde weil es ja NUR ein Pomdöner sei. Nach langer Rede bekam ich den gewünschten Teller und konnte das Elend darauf aus dem Karton kippen. Die Pommes waren ungenießbar. Sehr wahrscheinlich in zu altem Öl gebraten. Das Fleisch, (sehr wenig) und von der Qualität her das aller letzte. Die Kreutersauce, die einst hunderte Kunden anlockte war auch ein totaler Reinfall, kein Vergleich zu damals. Bei aller Güte gab es für die ganze Dönerbox auch nur einen Esslöffel davon. Am nächsten Morgen, sehr starke Bauchschmerzen. Also wer es braucht, soll gerne dort Geld verschwenden.

Wir sind zufällig hier reingestolpert, da die Tesla Station gegenüber ist. Auf Google Maps wurde der Laden erst nicht angezeigt. Während wir aufs Essen gewartet haben, sind wir die Bewertungen durchgegangen und wollten am Liebsten flüchten. Da das Essen bereits zubereitet wurde, also recht zügig entgegen der mehrfach geäußerten Kritik es würde lange dauern, mussten wir uns unserem Schicksal ergeben. An dem Döner und der türkischen Pizza gab es allerdings nichts auszusetzen. Besonders war in der Tat das Tzatziki, welches einer Mayo ähnelt, sicherlich Geschmacksache aber unserer wurde getroffen.

Ich habe Essen bestellt. Er hat das falsche Gericht zubereitet. Das Essen hat furchtbar geschmeckt. Ich habe viel Geld für so teures Essen verschwendet.

Dönner spezial mit Kalbsfleisch und Cocktailsauce ist der Hammer

Hatte einen Falafeldürüm bestellt und dieser war seeehr dünn. Ich habe noch nie einen Falafeldürüm mit so wenig Inhalt gesehen. Falafel, Rotkohl, Eisbergsalat und Soße. Das wars. Ich glaube die Bedienung hat noch nie ihre eigenen Gerichte gegessen. Absolute abzocke für das Geld. Preis Leistung also grottenschlecht.

Die Pizza war sehr lecker und das Personal äußerst freundlich. Ich komme gern wieder. :)

Heute war ich bei Furat in Sindorf und habe eine Pizza bestellt Tonno frischer Belag, gut gebacken sehr freundliches Personal absolut empfehlenswert! Tolles Ambiente

Einer ihrer Mitarbeiter ist heute am Hit SB an den Staubsaugern mit seiner Tüte gegen mein Auto geschlagen dieser ist einfach abgehauen ! Er hatte ein Shirt von ihrem Laden an und ist auch dort hin gegangen ich habe eine Anzeige gegen unbekannt gestellt und die Sachlage das das ihr Mitarbeiter war mitgeteilt . Es entstand eine kleine Beule in der fahrertüre . Kann passieren aber einfach abhauen ??? Unglaublich!

Ich würde, wrnn ich könnte - hier garkeinen Stern vergeben! Früher sind wir sehr gern zu Furat essen gegangen. Nach unserem heutigen Besuch wird das nicht mehr der Fall sein. Das Personal ist sowas von unfreundlich!! Habe ich noch nicht zuvor bei Furat erlebt. Wie Vorgänger auch schon beschrieben haben sind die Ledersitze komplett kaputt und zeugt nicht von Sauberkeit. (Leider noch schlimmer als Sperrmüll!!) Im gesamten sehr sehr unzufrieden. Preis Leistung stimmt hier überhaupt nicht mehr.

Habe wie man anhand der Bilder entnehmen kann, einen Döner gehabt, das Fleisch war gut bzw. Das Brot auch, aber beim Salat muss ich bemängeln, ich hatte auf eigenen Wunsch nur Zwiebeln Tomaten und Petersilie, die Tomaten haben geschmeckt als wären sie schon zu wässrig gewesen und die Petersilie war schon leicht gelb. Ansonsten war alles gut. Würde in Zukunft auch nochmal kommen, würde mich natürlich freuen, wenn das verbessert wird.

Klo verisifft! Brot absolut trocken! Salat schon so vergammelt das es schmierig schmeckt und Fleisch auch nicht mehr wie es sein sollte. Toter Laden Nicht zu empfehlen 👎🏼

Sehr frisches und leckeres Lahmacun, schmeckt wie selbstgemacht! Guter Service und saubere Räumlichkeiten. Ich besuche es jedes Mal, wenn ich im Nike Outlet bin :) Danke!

Bester Döner und korrekte Leute, haben mir zwei Ayran geschenkt

Vor kurzem das erste Mal da gewesen und nie wieder 7 Euro für einen döner der belegt ist wie ein Sandwich, wo kaum fleisch drin ist, wir waren sehr enttäuscht

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, hiermit möchte ich meine große Unzufriedenheit über meinen Besuch in Ihrem Restaurant zum Ausdruck bringen. Der Service Ihres Personals war sehr schlecht und unprofessionell. Ich habe eine Pizza mit Hähnchenfleisch bestellt, jedoch befanden sich auf der gesamten Pizza lediglich 7 kleine Stücke Hähnchenfleisch. Der Käse war von sehr schlechter Qualität und hatte einen äußerst unangenehmen Geruch, wodurch die Pizza praktisch ungenießbar war. Für eine Pizza dieser schlechten Qualität habe ich 14 Euro bezahlt, was in keiner Weise gerechtfertigt ist. Dies war das schlechteste Restaurant, das ich jemals in meinem Leben besucht habe, und meine Erfahrung war äußerst enttäuschend. Ich bitte Sie, diese Beschwerde ernst zu nehmen und entsprechende Maßnahmen zu ergreifen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Das Restaurant Furat kann ich jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der ein sauberes, einladendes und genussvolles Esserlebnis sucht. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wird man freundlich und aufmerksam empfangen und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Mitarbeiter sind höflich, hilfsbereit und wirklich daran interessiert, dass die Gäste einen angenehmen Besuch haben. Sauberkeit wird hier ganz klar großgeschrieben; sowohl der Gastraum als auch die Servicebereiche sind stets gepflegt und sauber. Einer der größten Vorteile des Restaurants Furat ist seine Lage. Es befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Tesla-Ladestation direkt gegenüber, was es zum idealen Zwischenstopp für Tesla-Besitzer macht, die während des Ladevorgangs ihres Autos eine Mahlzeit genießen möchten. Wiederlich Laden unfreundlich noch nie so schlechtes Döner Fleisch gegessen einfach nur ekelhaft

I remembered the place being better. I've rarely eaten such a thin dürüm. At that price, it's outrageous.

Furat used to be fantastic, and we were always excited when someone said, "We're going to Furat's." Unfortunately, the place has gone downhill. The chair cushions are completely worn out and look unhygienic. There were food scraps lying around in the corners. I can understand if there's a leftover fry under the table from the previous customer, but what I saw today had obviously been there for weeks. It's just a shame. The price-performance ratio isn't right for me anymore either. We used to be happy to pay €1-2 more than elsewhere because the quality and portion sizes were so good. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. €9-10 for a Turkish pizza now costs about the same everywhere, but the contents here were significantly less than at comparable restaurants. It was almost all red cabbage, lots of sauce, and hardly any meat – rolled up very thinly. That's really disappointing for the price. I usually only write positive reviews, but I just wanted to give others an honest assessment here.

I ate there for the first time today and I have to say it was very tasty. Definitely one of the best doner kebabs in Kerpen. The bulgur and the fries were especially delicious.

Despite the mediocre reviews, we still wanted to eat here. This was our first and last time. We ordered: 2x durum with beef 1x fries 1x pizza 1x rice The durum, fries, and pizza were acceptable, but the rice was absolutely inedible. It was very dry and had a distinctly burnt aftertaste. I left the rice and mentioned this at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, no empathy was shown and no compensation was offered. The cashier's only response was, "I ate it too, and it was delicious."

I'm very disappointed to have paid almost €15 for a doner kebab that tasted disgusting afterwards and gave me a real stomachache. The doner smelled strange, it was cold, there was crust everywhere, and some kind of chicken remains. I had to spit it out. Disgusting! Never again in that filthy place.

For the first five or six years, the quality was consistently high. Today's visit, however, was a complete disaster. 😞 The display looked neglected, there were no waiters on hand, the grill was off (!), and there was pizza dough and flour lying around everywhere. The bread came straight from a bag—absolutely disappointing. 🥖💤 The place is now in a truly unpleasant state: torn, scratched chairs, and generally very dirty. There was even insect droppings on the toilet door frames. The kebab itself is simply unacceptable for the price, as are the drinks. They used to serve drinks in glasses; you could tell they valued quality. Now, unfortunately, it's the exact opposite. 🥤⬇️ Conclusion: A shop that used to set standards has unfortunately completely fallen apart. A real shame! And definitely not recommended anymore. 👎 Time for a new owner!

The wait was very long for a snack. The dürüm was very small. The price was not reasonable. Update: 6 hours after eating: I vomited my guts out and am lying in bed shaking, probably with food poisoning. Extreme caution is advised.

I'm truly disappointed and angry after my visit to Furat in Kerpen. I ordered a takeaway doner kebab, and then came the cheeky announcement: "This isn't a bakery, we don't serve bread"—not even for an extra charge! For me, as a lover of Turkish cuisine, flatbread is simply a must; a doner kebab just doesn't work without it. I've rarely experienced such rude and unfriendly service. And the "salad complete"? What a joke! Just onions, some red cabbage, and lettuce leaves—no fresh tomatoes, no cucumbers, nothing you'd expect from a proper doner salad. It was completely uninspired and left me really disappointed. It feels like they don't even want to bother preparing the food properly. It's a shame that such a traditional and popular dish is served so poorly here. I definitely won't be eating here again—I don't recommend it at all!

Very disappointed. The food was mediocre; the fries took longer than the doner kebabs. The service was so-so. The seating is junk; the faux leather is completely ripped. !!! Not recommended !!! Only 7% VAT is charged on the receipt, even though you sat down and ate there. Anyone familiar with tax law knows what's going on. The looks you get when you ask for the receipt are unfriendly, and the incomprehensible, non-German words are definitely not meant to be kind.

Doner kebab is delicious and really quick. However, having only about 20 grams of meat per "doner" is an absolute rip-off for €8.

I've never seen such a small lahmacun! It tastes great, but unfortunately it's more of a snack than something to satisfy a big hunger.

They give you a puzzled look and suggest you have crispy food. Atmosphere: Well, torn leatherette seats...could be better.

It was dirty, the chairs were sticky where there was even a trace of faux leather left. The fries were inedible, soaked with old grease and browned accordingly. We used to enjoy eating there. Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend it today. Firstly, the tables were dirty even though there was absolutely no one in the place. We ordered dürüm and lamacun, and we got (sorry) tiny, tightly rolled dough rolls. The meat and salad were really sparingly served. On top of that, the red cabbage was extremely sour and inedible for me, which was a shame. After we mentioned that we thought there was very little meat in the dough rolls, we were told, "Why, it's stable!" An absolute disgrace, I must say. We'll never be back; what a shame about the place.

The food had to be improvised again. This time the reason: the grill was broken. The Turkish pizza was borderline subpar, with too much sauce (mayo??), the salad was soggy, etc. Unfriendly service. They asked for cash when paying, even though the debit card machine appeared to be working. The icing on the cake was the mold on the toilet walls. This was truly my last visit! What a shame! It used to be a delicious, highly recommended restaurant!

Best kebab I've ever eaten! The meat was perfect, the bread was fresh, and the sauces were top-notch. The service was super friendly and attentive – when I asked for pepperoni, they immediately explained that it was very hot, and we even got to try it first. Back when Furat first opened, we really enjoyed eating there. The food was excellent, and there was nothing to complain about. Today we ate at Furat again, and we were very disappointed. The food was half-cold, the tzatziki wasn't a real tzatziki, but a mayonnaise mixture—simply disgusting. The fries were questionable, and the salad was inedible. For us, this was our last visit to Furat.

One of the few restaurants open on Sundays. We ordered a döner box and a döner sandwich. The food was excellent, and we got free vegetables with the box, which was nice.

Unfortunately, it's deteriorated considerably, so I'm dropping my application. The meat was burnt, and mayo doesn't go on the fries. It's been steadily declining for years.

Good döner kebab in Kerpen's Outlet Center. I was there on a Saturday evening and waited 30 minutes for a dürüm and a shawarma. I've only ever experienced such an incredible wait at Mustafa's Gemüse Kebab, which is known throughout Germany and not as poorly rated as Furat Restaurant (3.2). The atmosphere wasn't relaxed; it was far too crowded, loud, and lively. It certainly empties during the week, though. The dürüm tasted good for the hefty price of €8.50. It was well-balanced with salad and meat, and the tender meat deserves praise, and it came with delicious tzatziki. The ingredients seem really fresh, and the salad was freshly made behind the counter. Conclusion: The dürüm and döner are worth it IF IT'S EMPTY, otherwise you'll be waiting half the day. Hence, just 4 stars, as I don't think the 3.2 rating is justified.

The food is good. Everything is freshly prepared. Drinks are far too expensive (and without a deposit label, so they're bought from abroad; selling such drinks is actually prohibited), and the kebab is also too expensive in my opinion. That's why it's much less busy. I only come very rarely these days, but it's still better than American fast food. Portion of fries €4/€5... No, sorry... fries, oil are cheaper to buy than before Corona, and electricity isn't. Labor wages? Well, that's right.

We went there for dinner. The lahmacun was very sparsely filled. The durum was also sparsely filled. Prices were very high, which I find incomprehensible. You won't get full from one dish, and I think you should, given the prices. I definitely won't go there again.

The food used to be really delicious. Today, it's not particularly tasty and very expensive, given what you get.

In the past, we were happy to make the trip from Cologne to enjoy a good meal here. Unfortunately, our impression changed significantly during today's visit. The flatbread was too thick, dry, and only half filled; the other half was simply bread with no filling or sauce. The salad in the doner kebab was minimal: no tomatoes, no cucumbers, and very poorly prepared. I asked the man behind the counter why the bread had been changed. Instead of giving me a reasonable answer, he simply said the bread had always been like that – which is definitely not true. The bread used to be much thinner and triangular in shape. So it wasn't just different, it was also better. The way they handled our request to have some rice instead of fries for our two-year-old child's doner box was particularly disappointing. They couldn't do that; instead, we had to order a full doner plate. They weren't accommodating when we asked. In the end, we had to get a kebab box with fries – completely incomprehensible and unfriendly to customers. We've made it clear: We won't be eating here again.

The €14 doner kebab plate was way too expensive, even if it had at least tasted good. The salad wasn't washed, there were grains of sand (?) in it, and the chicken was mushy. First time there and won't be back!

Quality, taste, cleanliness no more than three stars

Rip-off! They charge €12.50 for a small falafel durum with a 0.2 l Coke. According to the menu, the durum costs €8.50. The drink prices aren't even posted. When I asked, I was told that the feta cheese (which was only present in traces on the sandwich) costs an extra €1.50. This is because the feta cheese is listed among the items that are mandatory and are actually included in the price. By the way, the food wasn't tasty either. The falafel was completely over-fried and dry, the sauce was tasteless, and the bread was wobbly from being undercooked. The place is nicely decorated, if only the tables weren't so sticky... What a shame! Once and never again!

Tip top very good staff are there

We've rarely eaten so badly. We've actually come from Cologne to eat there several times, but the quality has deteriorated so much. I've rarely experienced so little meat on a kebab: no cucumber, no tomato, and just dried-out lettuce. I can understand the reviews very well. When paying, I mentioned that we'd never eaten as badly as today. The employee wasn't interested and just shrugged his shoulders. The competition is fierce; we won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, I had an absolutely traumatic experience there as a woman. It wasn't my first time there, but it was my first time alone as a woman. I just wanted to order a kebab to go. Not only did the person behind the counter make completely inappropriate comments, but I was also subjected to severe harassment by guests/friends of the employees (unfortunately not in German, so no further details), without anyone intervening. Sexual harassment of women and catcalling are truly out of the question in 2025; in any case, they completely passed the shop by.

NEVER again! The doner kebab for just under €9.00 contained maybe 100g of chicken, and the pizza tasted of nothing. The "restaurant" generally doesn't give a well-maintained impression; the restrooms are dirty. One wonders what the kitchen looks like. We couldn't finish our food...

Even the McDonald's at Cologne Central Station has more charm than Furat Sindorf. - Unfriendly/unmotivated staff. - Run-down shop (broken chairs, decorative wallpaper peeling off the walls). - Dirty/unpleasant smells, old grease. - Food served cold and with the wrong sauce. - Prices like Miami's Ocean Drive. We had to have a serious argument with the kebab man and justify our extra sauce because it was served incorrectly. What happened to the shop???? We were there for the first time in a long time and we're at a loss for words. The last thing we needed was mice dancing around on the tables. Disappointing.

There's a reason I never come here. The staff are the rudest people I've ever met. I ask for a veal doner and am told they only serve chicken, even though it was obvious they also serve veal. Then someone ordered it and was given veal. It makes absolutely no sense. 😐

Disastrous food – never again! One of the worst meals I've ever had. The meat absolutely stank – completely inedible and probably spoiled. The rice was dry as cardboard, and the sauces were so bland they could have done without them. Tasteless in the truest sense of the word. I seriously wonder how something like this can even be served. A disgrace!

We hadn't been there in a long time because we moved away. And we were happy about it. The place was dirty, the floor was sticky, the tables weren't wiped, and we waited a long time for our orders, even though there was hardly anyone there. The furniture is so worn that you don't want to sit down. As we ordered and looked around, we were worried about what the food would be like. It was still okay, nothing as delicious as it used to be. And we promptly put the drinks back in the fridge because there weren't any glasses or straws available. So, simply put: that was the last time we went there!

Hi, I'm telling you, the shop was really a blast and people really enjoyed going there. The service is now literally 0 when it comes to the food. Now and then you can only get a kebab if the kebab skewer is fresh, otherwise I advise you to stay away, it's really sad how the shop has developed! Workers 0 German no smile nothing no service said in good German the shop is simply no longer alive it is dead.

The entire order was wrong. Expensive. Etc. But the best part was when the employee threw down his cell phone because we wanted to pay and disturbed him while he was smoking. What social behavior is ridiculous.

Small visit to this snack restaurant while recharging my car. There's a Tesla supercharger right across the street... I spotted it during my last visit to this supercharger, it was unfortunately too late for me to eat there. It’s done and done well. It's very very good.

You can eat really well people here! I discovered the store a while ago and I'm really impressed. Okay, the people behind the counter weren't particularly friendly, but it was already 8 p.m. and I came to eat. Doner plate completely natural😎 And wow, really good! The meat is great, the salads are fresh and the cocktail dressing was perfect. I really enjoyed it and I can only recommend the shop. One point deducted for the interior, the leather seats are partly torn and should be replaced. But hey, otherwise really great!😁

Things have declined dramatically. The food quality is OK. The service is no longer good. The service doesn't justify the prices...

The kebab is still at a good level. The staff is not really interested in customers but still serves within a very good time frame (Sunday at 4:40 p.m. the shop is hardly busy)

The food tastes delicious, especially the Dürüm flatbread is baked there in the stone oven. The location has just lost its beauty over the years, it just seems very bare. But it's enough to eat kebab.

Pizza was swimming in cheese. This works better and also saves material.

Just don't go...eat somewhere else. It doesn't work at all. Unfriendly, food doesn't taste good, staff doesn't want to.

Maybe you shouldn't let customers know how much you hate your job. On good days, food is at best ok.

Not particularly friendly and you feel like you're in another country where nobody understands you. They only talk in Turkish and we stand there looking stupid and don't understand a word. And the kebab is not that tasty and way too expensive
