Difficult to reach by phone. Service extremely slow, got the drinks after the meal (?) and waited 20 minutes for the bill. Comparatively expensive for average taste & quality. We were still hungry. I can't recommend anything other than the ambience.

Food very tasty, but very poor service. The waitress came to greet us, brought drinks and food and never came back. We weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink. In addition, the toilets were unfortunately not very clean.

Just unlucky?! Went yesterday Dinner there. The food tasted really good. Unfortunately you had to look for the ramen soup, which was on the menu as the main course for €17.50. When the service was asked about it, they weren't really interested and just smiled away the criticism in a friendly manner. Went to Fujiyama with the family for a birthday lunch and it was a pretty average experience. The menu was a bit random and had some items on there that felt out of place for a sushi place (Thai stuff, fried rice). Everything seemed a bit overpriced, especially the drinks. We picked quite a lot of different dishes and they were ok, nothing to shout home about. Portions were big at least - but not something you’d expect from a fine sushi place - and the dry ice effect was a bit interesting but didn’t distract from the firmly average dishes. The vegetarian options were very very limited and I would not return because of this. I also found the service not that friendly, and even a bit snarky, eg when we didn’t remember the number of the dish when it arrived, like what’s M5? The interior design is very pretty to be fair and the location is good. But dont expect too much in terms of menu and food.

The positive first: extremely tasty food, nice ambience, friendly staff and appropriate prices. We were very happy with this! Unfortunately, the mediocre thing is the service. The food came quite quickly after ordering because the restaurant wasn't that full yet. But the later reorder and the cappuccino are not. That took a while... Unfortunately, the cafe arrived cold twice. I didn't want a third one anymore. We had to wait longer for the bill and the receipt only came after we asked twice.

Food, service and ambience exceptionally good. Anyone looking for something better will have a very difficult time.

The dishes at Fujiyama are some of the best food in Nuremberg. I've eaten there several times and can only recommend it. The cocktails are very good. Above all, I can recommend the skewers and desserts, which are real taste miracles, to everyone. The sushi and pasta dishes are excellent! Always happy.

Mega tasty, I'm not a sushi fan at all but what's on offer here is simply divine 🤩😍Thank you for these delicacies🙏🏻 What I didn't like was that there was only super hot water in the toilet (risk of burns) for washing my hands and the seating was uncomfortable for me after 1 hour in this great wooden design, but the others sat comfortably on the chairs😜hence the 2 star deduction I'll definitely come back 😘

It was one of those nights when the chill seeps through your coat, and the only thing on your mind is somewhere warm, bright, and enticing. Most dining in Nuremberg revolves around two things: pork and beer. Which, fine, has its charm, but sometimes you want to escape the schnitzel-scented fog. Enter Fujiyama: a space so modern it’s practically time-travel. The decor? Minimalist and striking – wood everywhere, so smooth and polished that I spent a good five minutes debating whether I’d wandered into a high-end sauna or a deconstructed grand piano. Either way, it was wonderfully warm, a glowing haven in the frosty night. The food? Excellent. The sushi arrives like a Vegas showgirl, all flair and drama, with dry ice billowing like the stage at Eurovision. It’s a spectacle, yes, but one that delivers where it counts: the fish was as fresh as if it had swum in that morning, the rice perfectly seasoned and not a speck of soy sauce in sight unless you asked. (Which you shouldn’t – respect the chef.) Service? Quick, efficient, and friendly enough to make you feel welcome but not smothered. They know their audience here – those who appreciate good sushi and good vibes without the fuss. If you’re cool, like sushi, and find yourself in Nuremberg, skip the bratwurst and head straight for Fujiyama. Stylish restaurant. Unfortunately overrated. Shusi was delicious. But the hot dish was run of the mill. Few vegetables, little flavor and dry and already lukewarm when it came. Nothing special. Drinks overpriced.

Delicious sushi and generally large portions (main courses). The furnishings are an eye-catcher, but unfortunately it's not very comfortable to sit on the wooden paneling, which continues as a bench, if you're staying for a longer period of time (there are seat cushions, but in the long run a chair is simply much more comfortable). I would have liked a little more attention from the service staff, they didn't proactively ask for further requests, but we had to draw attention to ourselves again in order to reorder. All in all, a really good Asian restaurant, both for sushi lovers and for those who prefer noodles, duck and the like.

Very nice atmosphere and delicious food. However, there is a lot of catching up to do in terms of friendliness and service. You should also urgently explain to employees the difference between a debit card and a credit card. I had to get stupid from the waiter several times because he didn't want to accept my debit card for payment. Really underground! Unfortunately, bad service ruins other good impressions.

Das ist designtechnisch ja wirklich ein Augenschmaus...aber warum stellt man dann Plastikblumen auf die Tische?? In so einem Lokal ein NoGo...und dann die Bezahlmöglichkeiten - auch etwas Hinterweltlerisch (Debitkarte erst ab 50€, darunter nur EC, aber erst ab 20€) - sorry Leute, das passt nicht in unsere Zeit!

The worst ramen I have ever eaten. The flavor of the broth was not good and the ingredients are not the usual ones (the pork was not typical for ramen). I was there yesterday with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My spinach salad was excellent! But my sushi rolls: One roll had so much wasabi that I almost had no taste left and I couldn't eat any of the pieces of my hasomaki roll completely. The nori sheets were so tough and rubbery. I had to spit them all out whole. I didn't eat either. The waiter asked and I explained to him. Unfortunately there was no response... just the bill. Bridget

Everything was just great! I've never eaten such delicious food, and I'm 100% serious about that. The service is great and very friendly. The ambience is just great. Even the toilets are very, very nice and pink for the women! A bit expensive but definitely worth it. We had sushi and chicken terijaki with rice and it is a clear recommendation. The food just melts so delicately in your mouth. You can tell that it is a finer restaurant. All in all, it is now my new favorite restaurant. Tip: Flavored water as a drink. It was my first time here and I highly recommend it!

We “discovered” the restaurant in passing and spontaneously decided to visit. Very friendly welcome (even without a reservation), brilliant interior, super pleasant atmosphere, attentive and extremely friendly staff. And first the food! From the starter (seafood salad, chicken karaage) to the creative sushi variations (more American/European style) and sashimi specialties to the homemade iced tea creations (particularly delicious: green tea ginger) - we haven't had something this good for a long time eaten Japanese. Both taste and presentation - simply brilliant. The price is in the upper class, but given the quality and the ambience, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. We were so impressed that we ate here again two evenings later and we weren't disappointed on our second visit either. We will definitely come back next time we visit Nuremberg!

Unfortunately I didn't like the service. I had to wait an hour for my food only to be told that black rice was not available. I ordered my sushi with black rice but received it with white rice. In addition, the table where I was sitting and drinking my drink was also being wiped, which was very disturbing.

Was in front of Orr with two people on a Sunday evening. Get a place immediately. The furnishings and ambience are brilliant. The staff was super friendly. The food was super tasty. The vegetables were fresh and still crunchy and the meat was also really tender. Very well balanced in terms of taste. The price has been raised, but what you're happy to pay here given this ambience and the top location. Would love to come back.

My family visited this place yesterday. We really liked everything, starting from the pleasant atmosphere inside (huge hall, beautiful stylish interior design, cleanliness, unobtrusive music that does not drown out your conversations), the friendly staff, the excellent menu and of course the taste of the dishes themselves just wow . I highly recommend trying the soups, salmon tartare and duck. The presentation of the dishes also deserves special praise. We will happily visit this place again!

Furthermore, when selling wine bottles, the service should let the guest at the table taste the wine beforehand! Eating out should be an experience and bring joy. Having the feeling that the chef/kitchen & all the service staff enjoy what they do/are doing. And at the same time, you should of course taste it. An expectation that I think you can have. And yes, of course, tastes differ as we all know. Unfortunately the service and quality of the food were not what we expected. There are a few other places in Nuremberg with better sushi. There won't be a second time for us.
