Very good food. Without a reservation it is difficult to get a place. The service was very nice.

Apart from the excellent quality of the food and the very friendly staff, I love the peace and the ambience at Fujiyama. The sound level is very low in this very nice restaurant, probably due to the way it is built. Personally, I find this very pleasant because you can have a good conversation while eating delicious food without shouting at each other. The sushi quality is very good and the crispy duck keeps its promise and is juicy despite being crispy! We'd love to come back!

We visited this Japanese restaurant and we were really impressed by the atmosphere. The design is stylish, cozy and typically Japanese - you immediately feel at home. We tried ramen and sushi. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the quality of the food. The ramen consisted mainly of noodles with only a small piece of meat, and the sushi didn't taste convincing either. It's a shame, because the atmosphere is really great! If the cuisine is improved this restaurant could be a great place.

I was there for the first time. The food was fantastic! We had some appetizers and then a sushi mix. Really highly recommended! Too bad the service wasn't that good. The waiter was very nice, but he made us wait a long time. In the end we were left stranded and that's why we left early. The atmosphere is really nice, with lots of wood. It's just a shame that there was a fabric flower on the table, beautifully lit, but unfortunately not a real flower. That would be much nicer! I won't go there again, Kokono is definitely much better!

I always enjoy coming here. A good selection and really good sushi! It's very easy to get a table here and Fujiyama is open all week! A rarity for Nuremberg and Bavaria!

I visit Fujiyama Restaurant regularly on business trips to Nuremberg and often invite my customers there - and every time it is an excellent experience. The restaurant offers a stylish and elegant atmosphere, perfect for business lunches or special occasions. The service is extremely professional, attentive and always friendly. You feel welcome and well looked after from the first moment. The food is simply excellent. The ingredients are fresh and the preparation is masterful. The quality of the food reflects the upscale cuisine of the house. A clear recommendation!

Very calm and pleasant staff who don't (!) seem stressed. Very impressive wave-shaped interior design, which absorbs the noise very effectively through the wooden panels. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, but the wooden paneling is not very comfortable to sit on. The sushi was OK. The drink prices are slightly higher.

It's not that you are not served. No, you are even served very nicely. It only takes 10-15 minutes to place your order. In order to promote social interaction between the guests, you wait about an hour for the food to arrive. The guests show solidarity while waiting and give each other a few cookies to overcome their worst hunger. The quality of the food is okay, but my noodles with curry simply had curry powder poured over them, while the chop suey simply tasted like nothing. The sushi and a chicken dish were okay. Visually, the restaurant promises more than what we experienced here. However, the employees are very nice. Too bad...

Went to Fujiyama with the family for a birthday lunch and it was a pretty average experience. The menu was a bit random and had some items on there that felt out of place for a sushi place (Thai stuff, fried rice). Everything seemed a bit overpriced, especially the drinks. We picked quite a lot of different dishes and they were ok, nothing to shout home about. Portions were big at least - but not something you’d expect from a fine sushi place - and the dry ice effect was a bit interesting but didn’t distract from the firmly average dishes. The vegetarian options were very very limited and I would not return because of this. I also found the service not that friendly, and even a bit snarky, eg when we didn’t remember the number of the dish when it arrived, like what’s M5? The interior design is very pretty to be fair and the location is good. But dont expect too much in terms of menu and food.

The food came quite quickly after ordering because the restaurant wasn't that full yet. But the later reorder and the cappuccino are not. That took a while... Unfortunately, the cafe arrived cold twice. I didn't want a third one anymore. We had to wait longer for the bill and the receipt only came after we asked twice.

Food, service and ambience exceptionally good. Anyone looking for something better will have a very difficult time.

The dishes at Fujiyama are some of the best food in Nuremberg. I've eaten there several times and can only recommend it. The cocktails are very good. Above all, I can recommend the skewers and desserts, which are real taste miracles, to everyone. The sushi and pasta dishes are excellent! Always happy.

Mega tasty, I'm not a sushi fan at all but what's on offer here is simply divine 🤩😍Thank you for these delicacies🙏🏻 What I didn't like was that there was only super hot water in the toilet (risk of burns) for washing my hands and the seating was uncomfortable for me after 1 hour in this great wooden design, but the others sat comfortably on the chairs😜hence the 2 star deduction I'll definitely come back 😘

It was one of those nights when the chill seeps through your coat, and the only thing on your mind is somewhere warm, bright, and enticing. Most dining in Nuremberg revolves around two things: pork and beer. Which, fine, has its charm, but sometimes you want to escape the schnitzel-scented fog. Enter Fujiyama: a space so modern it’s practically time-travel. The decor? Minimalist and striking – wood everywhere, so smooth and polished that I spent a good five minutes debating whether I’d wandered into a high-end sauna or a deconstructed grand piano. Either way, it was wonderfully warm, a glowing haven in the frosty night. The food? Excellent. The sushi arrives like a Vegas showgirl, all flair and drama, with dry ice billowing like the stage at Eurovision. It’s a spectacle, yes, but one that delivers where it counts: the fish was as fresh as if it had swum in that morning, the rice perfectly seasoned and not a speck of soy sauce in sight unless you asked. Stylish restaurant. Unfortunately overrated. Shusi was delicious. But the hot dish was run of the mill. Few vegetables, little flavor and dry and already lukewarm when it came. Nothing special. Drinks overpriced.

Delicious sushi and generally large portions (main courses). The furnishings are an eye-catcher, but unfortunately it's not very comfortable to sit on the wooden paneling, which continues as a bench, if you're staying for a longer period of time (there are seat cushions, but in the long run a chair is simply much more comfortable). I would have liked a little more attention from the service staff, they didn't proactively ask for further requests, but we had to draw attention to ourselves again in order to reorder. All in all, a really good Asian restaurant, both for sushi lovers and for those who prefer noodles, duck and the like.

Das ist designtechnisch ja wirklich ein Augenschmaus...aber warum stellt man dann Plastikblumen auf die Tische?? In so einem Lokal ein NoGo...und dann die Bezahlmöglichkeiten - auch etwas Hinterweltlerisch (Debitkarte erst ab 50€, darunter nur EC, aber erst ab 20€) - sorry Leute, das passt nicht in unsere Zeit!

The worst ramen I have ever eaten. The flavor of the broth was not good and the ingredients are not the usual ones (the pork was not typical for ramen). What an experience to eat here! As soon as you enter you are amazed by the interior, and that surprise never disappears because the dishes are all beautifully presented and taste excellent. I was really looking forward to their Ramen, and although the service briefly seemed like it was an unusual choice, it was very enjoyable. Their homemade broth and chewy noodles were a pleasure for the taste buds.

I was there yesterday with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My spinach salad was excellent! But my sushi rolls: One roll had so much wasabi that I almost had no taste left and I couldn't eat any of the pieces of my hasomaki roll completely. The nori sheets were so tough and rubbery. I had to spit them all out whole. I didn't eat either. The waiter asked and I explained to him. Unfortunately there was no response... just the bill. Bridget

Everything was just great! I've never eaten such delicious food, and I'm 100% serious about that. The service is great and very friendly. The ambience is just great. Even the toilets are very, very nice and pink for the women! A bit expensive but definitely worth it. We had sushi and chicken terijaki with rice and it is a clear recommendation. The food just melts so delicately in your mouth. You can tell that it is a finer restaurant. All in all, it is now my new favorite restaurant. Tip: Flavored water as a drink. It was my first time here and I highly recommend it!
