Good food is a pleasure to come here but the service is unfortunately very unfriendly at times, which usually makes the visit pretty bad because you are not treated like a guest, no eye contact and you want to get away from the guests quickly

There were 4 of us and we spent almost €250. We spent almost 2 hours eating and something was always forgotten. When it came to the bill, they gave us zero consideration (I suggested that we cut out a bottle of wine for €22) For the long waiting time and the service provided, compared with the price. Not ok!

Here the customer is NOT "king" - it's all about profit. You don't feel like you're welcome as a guest. Reservations are accepted WITHOUT planning and the customer then stands in the entrance area for half an hour with another 20 people who have also made reservations. Evening ruined! Thanks for nothing

We chose a platter for two people, there was something of everything and for every taste. The service was very friendly and attentive. The parking garage is nearby and can be easily reached in 3 minutes.

The service is really bad, at first it took 10 minutes for the drinks to be taken, people generally didn't ask if you wanted something to drink again, nor did anyone remember who had which dish in a table of 12 people. The food is okay, the gyozas are very crispy, almost like they came from an air fryer or oven, really atypical. The udons come with a soupy sauce that lacks salt. Was the first and the last time.

Food was very good, although small portions and not cheap. Around €23 and left hungry. It wasn't warm in the restaurant at lunchtime, so we had to put on a jacket and not freeze.

Food was average but not a highlight. But what bothered me was the Vietnamese espresso €4.50 including coffee grounds. Service came by at 9:30 p.m. with the request to order the last round. 20 minutes later the cleaning crew arrived. Whenever I complained about the espresso price, the answer I received was that we are also a restaurant; I have had better experiences in other restaurants.

The Fujisapa is very centrally located in Esslingen. There are no free parking spaces. Man should park in the police parking garage. The restaurant is decorated in a very modern way. The service is very friendly but not very attentive. We had to point out several times that we could order. Unfortunately, a repeat order was also unsuccessful. The menu has a very good selection of dishes, with meat, vegetarian and vegan. The sushi is freshly prepared, but in my opinion it is not good value for money and far too expensive. We also had chicken skewers, summer rolls and soup. Overall, you'll get around €40-50 per person including a drink. It's worth a visit, but we won't be coming back more often.

I've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is nice, especially in summer, on the large terrace. The quality, especially of the fish, is great. The portions are completely sufficient. The service is great too!

Absolutely disappointing! The service at this restaurant was unprofessional and disrespectful. I politely asked for extra sauce and the waiter then started putting the sauce directly on my sushi. Even when I said 'stop' several times, he just kept going and completely ruined my meal. When we asked him why he treated us like that, all he got was a half-hearted apology - that was it. Nevertheless, we had to pay in full for the food, which we could no longer enjoy and didn't finish. Such behavior is unacceptable! Definitely not recommended

Why didn't you exist when I still lived in Esslingen? 😭 From the friendly welcome to the delicious drinks and the phenomenal food (the gyoza are by far the best I've ever had - and the pho is the perfect soul warmer in winter), to the relaxed atmosphere, everything was simply top notch. And what's more, it's located in the most beautiful place in the city. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

Great location and very tasty dishes. There were errors with the food brought to a few tables next door. Everything was perfect for us and the curry was especially delicious. You should take time to pay, as only one employee did this. Otherwise the waiters were very friendly.

We had picked up sushi to take away. The food is OK but the sushi roll veggie only tastes like avocado. The rolls were so loose you could look through them and count the square, loveless strips of vegetables. The food is fresh but it is no different to sushi that you can buy fresh in the supermarket

Actually I like the restaurant a lot. Today we ordered sushi to pick up again. !!!DANGER!!! Some of the avocado in the food was no longer good and no longer edible. For the prices and quality you expect from this restaurant, this is very unacceptable. We called them and kindly pointed out what we were told to come back next time and then they hung up.

Ich wollte heute Abend alleine (ich bin aufgrund einer Weiterbildung in Esslingen ) in das Fuji Sapa, da mir Freunde vom Essen vorgeschwärmt haben. Leider muss ich sagen : Daumen runter ! Finger weg, wenn Du alleine unterwegs bist ! Als ich nach einem Tisch für mich alleine fragte, wurde ich erst einmal kurz auf “Halteposition” gesetzt, da ich keine Reservierung hatte . Nach mir kam ein Pärchen herein, ebenfalls ohne Reservierung und wollten einen Tisch für 2. Der Kellner kam zu diesen beiden Personen und führte sie sofort zu einem Tisch . Mein Nachfragen , was denn mit mir sei, bekam ich als Antwort, dass für mich leider kein Tisch zur Verfügung stehe, weil ich alleine bin.. Ja gibt es denn so was !!! Ich bekomme keinen Tisch mit der Begründung, dass: 2 Personen mehr essen als 1 und das macht mehr Geschäft ! Kann man so was glauben ??? Also an alle Single Personen : hier seid ihr nicht erwünscht ! Was für ein Armutszeugnis !

WATCH OUT! Allergens are not declared correctly! This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! Gluten, soy and others are present in some dishes even though it is not stated! DEAR OWNERS, please be sure to change the card! The sushi is very expensive and not appropriate for the quality. Avocado and mango were unripe and barely edible. What a shame!

I've been here several times and unfortunately each time it's just... well average. The soup came cold, the beef was tough and the service was constantly overwhelmed and unfriendly; It always took too long to be able to order. Sauvignon Blanc, declared as a red wine, is now the least of the evils. And be careful with the bill: on three out of four visits, the bill was wrong, and every time to our disadvantage! There were regularly food and drinks on the bill that we didn't have!!! When we talked about it, people thought it was almost normal, it could happen. I won't comment on that! What a shame, it's actually a nice restaurant and some of the food is really good.

Great sushi restaurant in Esslingen. I didn't give it 5 stars because I think there's still a little room for improvement when it comes to food, which doesn't mean it's bad, I would definitely go there again. We had a platter for 4-5 people for around €130, at around €30 per person you could almost order individual portions. Otherwise they also have other food than just sushi. Service was very good and quick. Toilets are on the 2nd basement. All in one a good restaurant and something different.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars I had a mixed experience at this restaurant. Although one of the dishes tasted good, the overall experience was not convincing. There was no greeting when we arrived and we were seated at the worst table in the half empty restaurant. After consultation, we were allowed to sit at a better table. The waiting time for our order was extremely long and the first drink, a jasmine tea, was already bitter. Upon request, a new tea was brought that met my expectations. Unfortunately we were later forgotten and other guests who arrived after us were served first. This resulted in some of our dishes being cold. While the curry was tasty, the bowl was bland and the fried sushi was cold. The staff apologized several times as they forgot about us several times including an espresso order that never arrived. The outside appearance of the restaurant is attractive, but the experience inside left something to be desired. Overall, the experience was disappointing and probably won't persuade us to visit again. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I still wish the restaurant all the best for the future.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in the entire Stuttgart region for Asian cuisine. Top location in beautiful Esslingen, very fine Japanese and Vietnamese dishes in a great ambience. Friendly service. Perhaps the menu will be expanded to include more Vietnamese delicacies. Apart from the loud music later in the evening there is nothing to complain about.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, transparent. The food is a poem, a wonderful journey through different aromas and tastes. I only had one dish and I absolutely loved it.

Went there for the first time today. The employees are quite pushy and impatient.. we sat at the table for 10 minutes and during that time the employee came about 5 times and asked what we would like to eat.. it wasn't a pleasant atmosphere and there was hardly any time to think about it. On the whole, the food was tasty, although the portions were cut quite a bit given the high prices. At lunchtime (around 2 p.m.) it was also quite empty, so we didn't wait long for the food. Despite there being little activity, no requests or requests were taken into account, e.g. the request to divide the food into two plates.

The waiter, who is a boy, is so rude. He told us that they would be off work in 30 minutes and whether we hadn't read the information that was on the front door! Then he didn't come to have our order. He screams in my face when I wanted to order something. At the end I wanted to politely ask why they wanted to close so early and they said if I paid employees' salaries they wouldn't close. But he was so unfriendly. I recommend the other visitors just go to other restaurants if you want to have a good time. Never again!

Highly recommended! Both the food and the homemade drinks (iced tea) were very tasty. Portions are good and nicely prepared. Staff was friendly and quick. The atmosphere is modern and yet homely. The price is on the more expensive side, but the quality of the food also speaks for that.

Super-nice experience. The restaurant is situated at a beautiful place in Esslingen. And the interior is at the same level – big and open, but still cosy and suggesting premium quality. The service is nice and patient, and take nicely care of their guests. We took the Nigiri plate for two. Also here, the fish was of very good quality. Unfortunately most of the sushi was fried, what we like less…, but otherwise, an absolute recommendation :)!

On the occasion of my birthday we visited Fuji Sapa in Esslingen, where we were looking forward to a culinary experience. The food absolutely met our expectations: not only was it a highlight in terms of taste, but it was also beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, there were some difficulties with service due to the full restaurant. Our drinks only reached the table after the starter, a fact that was noticed not only by us but also by the neighboring table. Although the staff was friendly, the coordination didn't seem to be going well that evening.

There is better, the atmosphere is nice, but the waiters are overwhelmed and some don't speak German. Sushi is OK, but nothing special and in my opinion too expensive for that. Hot foods are good.

Price/performance is not right. Mango salad was far too small for the price. Sushi is not very good but good. But the portions are a joke for the prices. It's enough to compare it with a real premium sushi and everyone knows what I mean by price/performance. For the most part, drinks do not come in bottles, but rather come in a glass. So I don't know what kind of ginger ale I got or what cola. The Radler was not cooled. The lighting in the restaurant is not well coordinated. Service friendly but not motivated. ....With stylish Asian flair, the ambience becomes a focus of authenticity and at the same time a culinary experience... ...these words are used to advertise the Fujisapa in Esslingen. That sounded very good and we pre-booked a table for a celebration there so that it fits in with the appropriate Asian flair, just as Fujisapa is advertised on the colorful homepage and is then prepared when we get there. But unfortunately everything was different. When we arrived at the specified time, no table was reserved, no setting, no Asian flair, not even cutlery, so a bare table top. As soon as you entered the dining room, you felt an extremely loud background noise that had NOTHING to do with “stylish Asian flair”. Since the existing chairs were not enough for us in the number we had pre-ordered, we had to move two more from neighboring tables ourselves; no one in the house was interested in this. After 20 minutes of waiting, someone came with menus to hand out and a handful of insufficient pre-packaged cutlery bags and placed them in the middle of the table for us to take away ourselves. Ordering drinks went quickly. When the drinks arrived there was the first confusion about who had ordered what. The beer and water were placed on the table in bottles and had to be taken away yourself, various water glasses in insufficient quantities, sometimes with lime or without, were simply added. There were no beer glasses, so drink from the bottle… “with a stylish Asian flair”.. is different. Afterwards, order food just as quickly. A normal conversation within our table was not possible because of the great noise in the hall. The first starters arrived uncoordinated and the employees no longer knew who had ordered what. For example, I had ordered clear chicken soup and was given “coconut soup” with mushrooms. This was accompanied by an older reusable plastic spoon, i.e. not an Asian porcelain spoon, I would have even accepted a metal spoon. …“with a stylish Asian flair”?? The same with the main courses, a complete mess until everyone had their meal. The price on the menu is stated without euros. Allergen and additive information is not clearly visible, only one letter per dish? this could be critical for a guest with an intolerance. At no time was anyone asked whether everything was OK, whether it tasted good or anything like that. The “favorite horseradish” listed contains the antioxidant sodium metabisulphite E223. Unfortunately, this has to be labeled and is not on the menu. Half a scoop of rice per dish as a side dish is very economical. The dessert then came with a disposable wooden spoon! Shortly after 10 p.m., a man from the house came to the table without us calling anyone and wanted to collect money, which was like being thrown out! On the receipt then, no address header, no tax number? Conclusion: The homepage does not correspond to what was offered. The one mandatory star that had to be awarded was only for the duck meat on the dish. ....With stylish Asian flair, the ambience becomes a focus of authenticity and at the same time a culinary experience... was far from what was presented that evening.. A pity

The food was good but the grill plate was very small. I was hoping for more vegetables, but the price/performance ratio wasn't quite right. It was tasty, but overall it didn't blow me away. The spider webs on the moss pictures could also be removed again.

We were there for dinner in a large group and the restaurant was very busy. The food was served very quickly. The food was very tasty and the service was very attentive. The ambience and the food were really great. Unfortunately the service wasn't good. Our waitress was listlessly absent and unaccommodating. You got the impression that he didn't feel like working at all and that the guests were annoying him. The plates were placed in a stack and not distributed to the guests. No advice on choosing, when asked the menu was simply pointed at without saying a word. No new plates were offered for the main course, even though the old ones were full of shells of edamame. Wur hatten einen Tisch auf 20uhr reserviert, waren 5 minuten vor 20uhr da und mussten in der schlange bis 20:15 anstehen. Bekamen dann einen Tisch und warteten wieder. Auf Nachfrage kam dann um 20:40uhr ein kellner der nahezu kein deutsch sprach, er nahm unsere Bestellung auf. Getränke kamen quasi sofort aber unsere Vorspeise nicht. Um 21:20uhr erneut nachgefragt, 21:34uhr kam dann meine suppe, bestellt ohne koriander natürlich mit. Zwischenzeitlich bekamen wir einen anderen kellner der zumindest der deutschen sprache mächtig war. Meine freunde bekamen dann ihre vorspeise... ich hatte dann erneut gefragt und als meine freunde ihr essen bekamen kam dann tatsächlich meine suppe und wieder mit koriander... um kurz nach 22uhr hatte ich dann meine suppe und Hauptgericht am tisch und um 22:20uhr kam der kellner "last order" und mit der aussage "selber schuld, ihr mit Eurem HickHack"... Danke. Es laufen einige Bedienunhen rum aber die sind so ignorand und kommen auf zuwinken nicht an den tisch, einer der das Essen auf den Tisch stellt gefragt wegen zusätzlichen Getränken kam die Antworr "macht er nicht, müssen wir eine Kollegen frahen"... Never ever again!

Food and ambience were great, toilet facilities should be reconsidered as the restaurant is shared with a neighbor and wasn't exactly clean, access only with a pin code that is posted in the restaurant. Service could be more attentive, otherwise everything was fine...

A choice of 4 to 5 different types of sushi quickly leads to a price of €40 to €50 per person, which doesn't seem justified considering the overall experience.

The curry was really wonderful. If you're not that into sushi and bowls, the menu is quite limited. The service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately it is very loud in the restaurant. Card payment possible. Parking spaces in the nearby parking garage. Toilet in the basement accessible by elevator.

I think the sushi here is excellent and the other dishes are also very tasty. The atmosphere is quite nice. Quite modern. The prices are sometimes a bit more expensive, but I think they are justified. I'm definitely a new regular.

This is the best taste of Asia in Esslingen. I have been to Fuji Sapa many times and every time is delightful with the service and the food. Amazing sushi choices and delicious hot soup Pho. Decoration is beach. My family love this place and we definitely come back.
