A bit too expensive for me but nice atmosphere!

Absolute disaster - don't order! I ordered a grilled platter through Lieferando on a Saturday evening around 9:30 p.m., and after two hours, there was still nothing... Then I called, but of course, no one answered. Then I checked the opening hours - open until 10 p.m.... If you don't think it's necessary to deliver half an hour before closing time, you shouldn't have accepted the order in the first place. Of course, the money is gone - no food. The issue is now being escalated to Lieferando. Hopefully, they'll get kicked out...

Unfortunately, not recommended – unreliable owner and poor cleanliness The space itself is actually nice, but our overall experience was very disappointing – mainly due to the owner's unreliable behavior. Communication was difficult even beforehand: The owner changed his statements several times – especially regarding the key. Sometimes he said we didn't need it, then we should get it, then again he didn't. In the end, we were left perplexed several times and had to chase after the key – to no avail. On the day of the event, we didn't get a key either, as originally promised, and again he said a key wasn't necessary. These constant changes made our planning considerably more difficult. The condition of the room was also disappointing: The floor was visibly dirty, all the chairs were dirty, and it gave the overall impression that it hadn't been properly cleaned for a long time. At the end of the party, the long dresses were black from the floor – that shouldn't happen in a rented event venue. What was particularly annoying was that just a few days before the event, the owner suddenly informed us of new restrictions – for example, that we had to close at 12 p.m. and that the dishes would be picked up by 10 p.m. This information was not shared with us when we signed the contract. Conclusion: If you're looking for a clean, professionally managed venue with clear agreements, you'd be better off looking for an alternative. Very disappointing.

Dear Sir or Madam, On June 18, 2025, I purchased two spinach börek rings with feta cheese at the City Bistro Bielefeld, located at Bahnhofstraße 9, 33602 Bielefeld. After just a few bites, I was horrified to discover that the inside of the börek was heavily moldy. I complained about this immediately on the spot. The employee accepted the defective product but left the remaining börek rings on the counter, even though it was assumed that they came from the same delivery or batch.

Previously, Café Berlin was here for many, many years – one of the nicest cafés in the neighborhood. Well, Domino's Pizza? Shame on you, landlords! And with this "pseudo-graffiti"...awful.
