We spontaneously stopped in for dinner and were thrilled! The burgers were so delicious that we came back the next evening. The taste, quality and atmosphere absolutely convinced us. Unreserved recommendation

Can you do it... Food is quite expensive, the place looks nice/new and clean. Nevertheless, it seems as if the staff doesn't care. Not even a friendly hello, don't look at you when you order and don't understand German well. Once the order has been taken, you're out of the loop and ignored until it's ready. There's no such thing as friendliness. Yes for quick food, absolute no for atmosphere

This is already a few levels above classic fast food. The burgers are well made, high quality and the different variations of fries are really good. Unfortunately, the selection of drinks and presentation is not that great.

A slightly different preparation of fries. What convinced me were the freshly made fries, but what I don't need is that everything was put on the fries.

We really enjoyed coming to you regularly, but you're letting up. We can't get enough from a burger anymore. No idea what it is. But mainly my problem is your staff, actually your bald colleague. I liked your shop so much because the staff was so friendly and in a good mood and they always exchanged nice words. The guy didn't smile once. He behaved like a rooster in a basket and had a mood that was depressing. I don't feel like coming again and putting myself in a bad mood. Terrible. It's a shame about the shop and it's a shame that I lost my burger shop. I just went there again after about a year because my son likes it. Fat fries and BBQ have become more expensive and taste totally boring. Bun and hack. Hardly seasoned, hardly any sauce. A tragedy for around 13 euros. Cool.

I always find my way to the Frietbox and have tried almost everything. Everything on the menu tastes great :) I can recommend everything, whether it's a burger, a currywurst or chicken snacks. The fries taste particularly good because they are freshly made from potatoes. The staff is always friendly, super personable 👍🏼 Clearly 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food here is delicious, I've never tasted such fresh fries! The selection is very diverse, from a normal currywurst to burgers to the delicious and unusual Frietboxes. We'll definitely be back!

The quality and service at FRIETBOX in Norden continue to impress us time and time again. The fries and burgers simply taste fresh and very good. The meat comes from the region and is processed daily. The vegetables are also crunchy, the dips are varied and the rolls are fresh. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food was delicious, the taste was very good but the price was a bit off. Price/performance should be reconsidered!

We were there on Tuesday evening. The older employee behind the counter was very unfriendly. The food was tasty, but nothing special. The presentation, the ambience, the menu, the food... actually the entire concept seems like a simple copy of Frittenwerk. I'm not really sure who was inspired by whom here.

As an absolute fan of fries, I have never eaten such disgusting fries. Half the potato peel was still on and tasted like a rotten potato box. If we had eaten there, they would have gone back straight away! But at least the mayo was delicious. 12 euros for trash.

I had a Friet Box Chili con Carne. The portion was delicious and perfectly adequate. The waitress (on March 26, 2025) gave us good, competent advice. All the food was fresh. We'd be happy to come back.

I love eating here. I come here with my girlfriend once or twice a month to eat some fries, burgers, bratwurst or a Fritzbox. The ambience with the interior design and lighting looks super cozy, especially towards the evening. The whole team is super friendly and well organized. The portions are really decently sized. I can recommend anyone who lives here, or perhaps is just on holiday, to come to Frietbox and have a good meal here. :)

It really wasn't anything special, we personally didn't like it. Went there twice to try different things. However, neither the burger nor the currywurst were really well cooked. It's a shame perhaps only in isolated cases.

I can only recommend it. Food super tasty, fresh and from the region. The house lemonade is amazing, not too sweet and still super tasty. The atmosphere is modern and cozy

I bought 2 x box of fries plus 2 large fries for a whopping €30 to take away. Fries totally gray and inedible. Frit box totally overpriced. Nothing is right here. I tried to have a clarifying conversation. Unfortunately without success. Once and never again.

Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und die Präsentation überzeugt. Was ich definitiv zu teuer finde sind die Saucen. 0.90 € für Mayonnaise die zu viel ist (die Hälfte braucht man nicht) finde ich definitiv zu teuer. Die Hälfte 0,50 € Cent würde auch reichen. Dann würde es weniger Lebensmittelverachwendung geben.

The store lists opening hours until 9:30 p.m. Now the paths in East Frisia are long. So we drove an extra 30 minutes and about 30km to eat here. When we arrived at 8:48 p.m. we were informed that it was already closed. If you offer opening times, you should stick to them and not do it earlier because you don't want to. Not again.

I ate the best currywurst fries here and the service was very friendly. Price-performance was great, as was the ambience. I'll come back on my next vacation.

First of all, the friendly young man behind the counter surprised me because I can't eat divetses5 due to my allergy. He listened to everything and put together a great suggestion for me from different variations of the burgers so that it worked for me. This is not a given!! Thank you for that.!! The quality of the meat... TOP. The burger buns were also super tasty, no fuss on them... Pure... The location itself with a bar-like character, lots of plants, cozy. Really a great place to enjoy a burger! We'll be back...

We went to the Frietbox for lunch today and are super satisfied. The food - thick Friesian and Frietbox pulled pork - were very tasty. The employee is extremely friendly and competent and has everything in mind. Telephone orders, on-site food...everything is done courteously and with a smile. A really big compliment!

We entered the shop a little skeptical because of the large fries that were kept warm, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The fries are fantastic. Soft on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside, just as it should be. We also had burgers (ox meat) and pulled pork fries. Both are highly recommended.

Very tasty food according to Dutch tradition. It's a shame there were no hot drinks other than mulled wine!

We ate there again today after almost exactly 5 years. We actually thought about it because there wasn't that much good stuff written here anymore. BUT: we were not only impressed by the food, but also by the friendliness of the staff, including the male staff. Relaxed sayings, courteous, absolutely nice. 3 different burgers with 2x medium. Fries, 4 drinks for €53.80. Everything was super tasty and the portions were absolutely large enough. Even us girls easily managed the burger and fries. We will definitely go back when we are in and around Norddeich!

Heute nach fünf Jahren wieder in der Friitbox zum Essen. Keine Spur von Unfreundlichkeit, top Bedienung. Auch keine Privaten Telefonate sondern Bestellungen für außer Haus. Vielleicht sollte der ein oder andere lieber zum gelben M nach Schottland fahren. Top Selfmade Pommes und die Burger super. Alles für einen schmalen Kurs.

We had been there again for a long time, unfortunately we regretted it again. Went there with 3 people on Sunday evening. We ordered 2 x Rahm Schnitzel with small fries as well as mayonnaise and Jopie sauce. (€2 each per small portion of sauce 😳) As well as a nacho burger with small fries and soft drinks. Since the store was very busy, at least in the pickup area, the waiting time of just under 35 minutes was still acceptable. After the schnitzel and the burger were served, my wife unfortunately had to complain about the burger because it was cold... the request to heat the burger again was complied with without any problem. The burger was completely new and not just warmed up 👍, but we were both finished eating the schnitzels a long time ago.👎 Unfortunately I can't say anything positive about the schnitzel, 2 small schnitzels with a little cream sauce and prepared in the deep fryer for far too long.... And the fries, which I was most looking forward to, were half cut so small (thus fried so hard) that they couldn't be picked up with a fork. All in all, I paid just under €60...the price/performance ratio absolutely doesn't match. What else should be mentioned is that instead of plates, wooden boards with baking paper are used. Halfway through eating the paper dissolves and you have to be careful not to eat it too. 👎 Sorry, maybe you just had a bad day, but unfortunately you ruined it for us too...

Top snack bar/restaurant with homemade fries and not the often frozen fries from the factory! Offered in many variations that are worth seeing and tasting! Deliver with local suppliers! Price/performance fits!

It was one of those magical moments: a family with 4 children is hungry and... then it appears... The chip shop 😉 But I tell you, we have rarely eaten such brilliant fries and burgers. Unfortunately it's not around the corner from us, otherwise we would be regulars.

Had BBQ burgers with fries. The burger topping was delicious, but unfortunately the bun wasn't. Little taste and totally soft. Not my case. The fries were good but unfortunately there were far too many small hard pieces that were inedible. Unfortunately the burger is served on a wooden board with paper on top. The paper softens very quickly and then it becomes uncomfortable. It's a shame...could have been 4 stars, but not like this..... Prices at the upper limit

Unfortunately I can't understand the positive reviews here. This was our second time there and we were totally disappointed. Three different dishes for over 44 euros, no snapper. The fries with currywurst were only lukewarm, the fries from dish 2 with a cold Frikandel contained mostly leftovers from the last frying process (see photos). Only my daughter's dish, the chicken wings, was very tasty in her opinion. The female staff was really very friendly, the young man behind the counter could use some coaching on how to be friendly with customers. For us, the second chance was also a failure...we definitely won't be coming back.

Very tasty burger. The FritBox could be a little more. Homemade teriaki sauce is more like a sweet chili sauce. Thick fries and BBQ burgers were good.

We had the opportunity to try the original burgers and, of course, fries. We liked everything very much. The portions are decent and you can eat to your heart's content. The menu is very clear and the prices are moderate. The decor of the hood is cool and it's nice to sit there. The service was very polite and friendly. Maybe we'll come here again when we're passing through. We mark the place with a star on our private culinary map because it is worth coming here 😋

If you want to eat a very good burger, you've come to the right place! I'm an absolute burger fan. This time it was the thick Friesian, plus the Shoama fries. My girlfriend had the Currywurst and the Crispy Friesian. The burger buns are fluffy, the side dishes are crunchy. Everything is as it should be. Price-performance is exactly to my taste. Service on the phone is also great. We'll be happy to come back!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Fries taste like old fat and are unseasoned. The burger was completely sandy and inedible. Unfortunately we ordered to go and were no longer able to complain on site.

Eaten: pulled pork. The fries (very cross) and the sauce were good. However, you almost had to look for the pulled pork. Too expensive for the little meat.

Friendly and quick service. You can forget McDonalds and Burger King, clean, tasty, good portions.

The food is really very good and the selection is extensive. Everyone can find something here. However, the price for a small fries (a handful) and the coleslaw (see photo) where not even the small box is full is really too high. Hence a star deduction.

Passable Burger, Fritten eher enttäuschend. Man macht so ein wenig auf "Hans im Glück" oder "Five Guys" aber kommt Werder beim Essen noch beim Setvice an diese Trendsetter ran. Ich fands überteuert

Wir wollten nach einer ausgedehnten Wanderung einen Mittagssnack essen. Die Frietbox ist genau die richtige Adresse dafür. Fritten aus frischen Kartoffeln und eine sehr leckere Currywurst. Die Preise sind mit einer normalen Frittenbude nicht vergleichbar, aber für die Qualität des Essens okay.

I just got a box to take home, but I was really impressed. The box was great and the service on site was really nice. A little saying that made me laugh after a strenuous day, then my fatigue was evident and I was left completely alone. When the finished box was handed over, I was asked again if I needed anything else. Just really lovely. I'd love to come back :)

We were really looking forward to the Frietbox during our vacation, but unfortunately we were disappointed. I had the beef box. I thought the meatballs would taste similar to a burger patty. Unfortunately I can't even say what it was, very finely minced meat, almost like sausage meat and taste zero. The mushroom sauce could only be guessed at. My husband had a burger. Looked good, although the meat was very bland, but the taste of the meat was very good. The lemonade was delicious. Store very nice. But unfortunately we won't be coming back for that.
