Excellent service and very friendly and attentive staff. Great lunch in a pleasant atmosphere. Would gladly come again.

This was our second visit to Anteperry. It was definitely better in the summer. Not as crowded, not as loud, and you didn't have to wait what felt like hours for your drinks. This was probably due to Westbam. You could have made a lot more money if the drinks service had been better organized. Many people left early because the staff was simply overwhelmed. In the summer, they also offered small snacks outside. Otherwise, the location is great!

Great beer garden with super delicious Spaten from Munich. The fries are fantastic. Crispy and well-seasoned. That's not always the case elsewhere. There are great play areas for children, and nice hiking trails for others. Not particularly spacious, but nice nonetheless. We had a lovely time here on Sunday in the warm weather.

It was a lot of fun despite my fear of heights and was challenging at times. But the safety equipment and instruction made me feel safe. Recommended for all ages. But you also need balance and stamina. All in all, highly recommended.

We were there in the Spatengarten because our daughter was busy at the adjacent climbing forest. A small but fine selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. The adjacent play area is also quite nice, although you have to pay for some of the rides. It's really nice for a weekend outing, or while waiting, or after a walk in the woods.

A nice place for sports and walks.

There's definitely a lot going on. A great beer garden, barbecue areas can be rented, and you can even bring your own food into the beer garden. That's extremely unusual. There's also a sandbox, slide, and rides for children ages 3 to 14. The interior is well-maintained, and the food is delicious. So, it's perfect, especially for families.

If you want to be treated condescendingly, this is the place for you. The prices clearly reflect the arrogance of the staff. We reserved a table well in advance, and we were looking forward to a lovely evening with beautifully set tables. Unfortunately, the reserved table wasn't available for us; it wasn't supposed to be a high-chair table (there were plenty available). The waiter was absolutely rude and exasperated, initially blaming us until it became clear that the Freischütz (the shooter) had made the mistake. But ultimately, it didn't matter, because, with a great deal of arrogance and without explanation or apology, we were summarily seated alone in the bar with the words, "This guy is in charge of you now (another waiter?)." That was the end of a lovely evening in a festive atmosphere. Thank you so much, really!!!!!! So, in conclusion: don't bother...

Sunday Supper – a new concept at Freischütz. You book a ticket and are seated at a large table with other people upon arrival. A variety of wines and water are served. We had monkfish with tomatoes and olives, as well as a delicious beef bourguignon with crispy potatoes and polenta croquettes. To finish, we had coconut cream with raspberries and an espresso. I enjoyed it a lot.

The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I'd gladly go back.

Rating for the beer garden: Although it was a private party on one side, it was otherwise a nice, albeit noisy, location. Plenty for kids, but also for adults, nice seating, on the edge of the forest, friendly staff, reasonable prices, very tasty fries, and good beer. Deposit on a tankard/glass is €0.50. Reasonable...all in all: praise for the beer garden. I can't say much about the food itself or the restaurant. I'm only rating the beer garden here.

The two of us went to the Supper Club meeting on Sunday. First of all, we received a very nice, friendly, warm welcome. We sat at a large table for 16 people; that evening there were 14 of us. The food was distributed. It was crusted redfish. I helped myself very promptly, but unfortunately, the crust wasn't crispy, and the fish was a bit overcooked. The side dishes were very tasty and well-seasoned, including kohlrabi and ratatouille. There were also potato nests and pasta. The second main course was peppercorn squash/roast pork with a delicious sauce. This dish was very tasty, the meat tender and not dry!! For dessert, there were yogurt with apricot in small glasses, which was okay. Accompanying the meal, all for €29, were white, rosé, red wine, sparkling and still water, and espresso for those who liked it. The wines were of good quality. A great idea, a concept of bringing people who don't usually know each other together, fostering community, getting to know each other, and having great conversations that, at best, lead to new acquaintances/contacts. The concept might not be for people who don't eat a lot and have a fixed dietary routine, because you don't know in advance what's going to be served. I think that's a great idea. A great idea, keep it up, I'll definitely attend from time to time.

A very nice place with lots of activities for children and a climbing park. You can sit outside on a large terrace. It's also a good place for coffee. We went for dinner; the food was good, the service was very friendly, and everything went smoothly. However, it was relatively quiet for a Sunday evening. There's plenty of parking. I can highly recommend the Freischütz for its excellent food and events, like the current curling competition. I'll be back for dinner on a Sunday. It was very good. There were plenty of seats both inside and outside. Highly recommended!

Wir waren zu viert im Wintergarten des Waldrestaurants. Die Gestaltung des Gastraums ist ansprechend und stimmig. Die Speisekarte enthält für alle Geschmacksrichtungen und Vorlieben der Gäste etwas bereit. Weil uns das Dessert so angesprochen hat, haben drei von uns ein kleines Gericht gewählt. Die Speisen waren schon angerichtet und schmackhaft. Leider haben die unprofessionellen Servicekräfte mit ihrer Arbeit am Tisch, bei Bestellungen und dem Bezahlvorgang die Stimmung unter uns gekippt.

Large, lively restaurant with a beer garden and terrace. Large playground for children, mini golf course and a small climbing garden. The forest begins directly behind the restaurant, with a well-marked adventure trail and a BMX bike route. The Kaiserschmarrn in the restaurant was very tasty

A lovely, large beer garden with small Bavarian snacks, French fries, Langnese ice cream, and a mixed salad with pasta, as a vegetarian alternative. Prices are okay. Lots of play options for children, but unfortunately, it's very expensive. A two-euro coin deposit is sufficient for a few minutes of fun. Plenty of parking spaces, although if there isn't a major event in the main hall, it can still be tight in nice weather. Parking tip: On the opposite side of Hörder Straße (B236), there's a medium-sized parking lot with four fast-charging stations. From there, you can quickly and barrier-free access to the Freischütz via a bridge. A two-minute walk takes you there. You can turn around at the traffic lights, which are a two-minute drive south of the Freischütz, or in the parking lot in front of the climbing forest, next to the Freischütz.

We often go for walks in the Schwerterwald forest. You can park at Freischütz. It's quite busy on weekends, but very nice during the week. There's also a garden where you can enjoy good food and relax. There's a climbing forest nearby, as well as a children's playground and other attractions. It's very nice there.

Large event venue with many attractions, from a climbing forest to mini golf and barbecues. Large beer garden. Both large and several small events are well managed. The technology is also suitable for conferences and concerts.

Der reservierte Tisch gefiel uns nicht, wir baten um einen der freien Fensterplätze, der Bitte wurde mit der Bemerkung, dort erst eindecken zu müssen, nachgekommen. Die Bedienungen waren bemüht, Wein wurde nicht zur Verkostung angeboten, sondern gleich allen eingeschränkt, das Essen recht gut, aber leider nicht heiss, sondern nur warm. Alles in allem ein 3 + .

Takeaway quality for a lot of money! If you're paying €26.70 for a pork (!) schnitzel with fried potatoes, this schnitzel should taste better than if you made it at home. Unfortunately not the case here. My tip, dear Freischütz: It becomes a really good hunter's sauce if a few other mushrooms are used in addition to cheap mushrooms. A little porcini mushroom powder gives it the right kick. A little more salt wouldn't hurt either ;)

On a nostalgic tour today I used to often come here with my son, back then without an e-bike, but with a bicycle trailer. Beer garden is good. A good destination by bike to grab a drink. There is a climbing park next door and a walk in the forest is also possible.

On April 26th, 2025 I was in the Freischütz beer garden with my family (6 adults and 3 children). The children had great fun as there was enough variety and entertainment for them. However, I find the price of €2.00 for the use of a ride device too expensive, as we know that children don't want to ride just once. I would have accepted that if everything else had been okay. The food delivery took a full 45 minutes from the time we ordered, even though the beer garden was far from full. Finally the time had come and we could pick up our food. Every dish, absolutely every dish, was cold. Fries, fried potatoes, sausages, everything cold. Since the children and we adults were of course very hungry by now, we didn't let the food go back. When we brought the empty plates back, we expressed our displeasure about the cold food at the serving point. The employee was very obliging and thanked us for our criticism and promised to pay more attention to it next time. So, if you have to ask employees about making sure they serve warm food, something might not be going right. Especially since I was in the beer garden more often two years ago and the food was always to my satisfaction. Warm and delicious. It would be nice if I could enjoy a nice cold drink and a delicious warm meal in the beer garden again.

We were there with a larger group on Saturday lunchtime. Everyone liked it. The food was very good, the service was very attentive and the children had a great time in the playground. The dog was also taken care of. We can only recommend it!

Right next to the climbing forest in Schwerte, this great beer garden is a must. Playground and rides included, mini golf open on weekends and public holidays. Drinks are expensive, small snacks are affordable.

Don't be confused by the location and what's around it is really beautiful. Everything was really nice but everything was ok The two stars are because of the really high prices. Nothing works on the playground without €2 pieces. Sorry, the slide in the sandpit is free. It's really time-consuming. Food and drink wow. 0.5 Pils just under 6€ Seriously. You can't stay there all day with two children.

We were at Freischütz for the Carousel menu and ordered the vegan menu. Even though the menu included vegetarian dishes, we were given a completely vegan menu at our request. The food was excellent: creative, tasty vegetable dishes, beautifully presented. The wine pairing was perfect, and the service left nothing to be desired.

Highly recommended for events. The outdoor area is well suited for families with children. The beer garden also invites you to linger.

We were there for the menu carousel and really got our money's worth! The menu was absolutely brilliant, the constellations of starters and desserts were really fun and the waiter responsible for us, Ilmi, had a great understanding of the job! Totally recommended!

Each course was beautifully presented and very tasty. The accompanying wines were well chosen and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was very quick and attentive. It doesn't get any better. Just to take a quick walk with the family and the children is perfect, the climbing forest is awesome, the prices in the beer garden are a bit higher, but you can keep an eye on the children when they are running around, the only drawback is that the chassis for the children are now €2 per mini ride

Six of us had dinner at the Waldrestaurant Freischütz. Everyone was enthusiastic about the very good gastronomic performance. The service was super friendly as always. All dishes tasted excellent (fresh cuisine!). The unusual aperitifs (with and without alcohol) should be highlighted. The forest restaurant is highly recommended.

Always here for the ADAC youth leaders conference, large conference rooms available, attentive service and good food, it's bearable!!!!👍🏻

With the right group it's definitely a fun affair. But take gloves with you. The handles tear your eyes open. Take a lot 💰 with you, because the drink prices are tough. Otherwise, as already mentioned, you can have fun here with the right group. I play curling, or better stick shooting, as a club in Dortmund and can recommend it as GAUDI.
