The surroundings and the restaurant are great. Modernly furnished, clean and the service is great. I personally didn't like the food. Had a bowl with falafel. Unfortunately the falafel only tasted like fat and breading. My partner had fried potatoes with egg. Unfortunately also totally greasy. Food-wise we didn't like it that much. Too bad. The rest was great.

We go there often, it's really nice. The service is great, the employees are really nice and respond to the guests' wishes. The food is always a pleasure and so is the coffee :)

Nice place to see and be seen... Nice ambience, good service, fair prices. The redesign of the outdoor terrace is a clear improvement in ambience. Staff generally friendly and nice... The head waitress is unbeatable in her overview and politeness.

Lots of activity on Mother's Day. Still didn't wait too long for food. We tested the tarte flambée and burgers: highly recommended. The service was very attentive despite the busy times. The prices are reasonable.

We came here spontaneously. The service is super friendly. We ordered a tarte flambée and a scoop of ice cream and a milkshake for dessert. Everything tasted very good, although the tarte flambée could have used a little less dried tomatoes ;) You can sit outside here and have a good view of the castle.

Unfortunately we had a very negative experience with this hotel. As part of a wedding, on the advice of the operators, all families with small children were quartered in the actual castle, directly above the large knight's hall. Reason: then the baby monitors have good reception and the parents can celebrate themselves. However, the party taking place in the knight's hall was so loud that none of the approximately 10 children could get any significant sleep. Conclusion: it was pure horror for all the families staying there. A very expensive horror. The breakfast the next morning was also just mediocre. The coffee was as thin as water and the buffet wasn't very extensive, and replenishment was slow or hardly any. For example, there was no smoked salmon at all. Unfortunately we didn't meet anyone from the hotel in the morning, otherwise a number of guests would have asked for their money back. I cannot understand why the hotel recommended this family accommodation to the hosts. I hope this review prevents this from happening again.

I was there for the first time last week and overall I can only say good things. The food was very tasty, service was great… all the staff were really friendly. It was also very comfortable outside & inside. We will come back in any case. 👍🏽👍🏽

Upscale ambience, clean, tidy bistro, table service only, delicious and inexpensive food, nice, friendly staff, beautiful view of Raesfeld Castle, suitable for groups of up to 50 people!

The restaurant itself has a nice upscale atmosphere. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't quite speak German, I think I spoke four times, despite that Pointing at the card, having to repeat what I want. Now he was polite. The veg. Onion soup was very tasty and the tarte flambée was also available without bacon. However, the tarte flambée could have used a little more heat and the spring onions were unappetizingly thick and of course not even fully baked. Listed on the menu with Alsatian tarte flambée, with Gouda instead of sour cream, and the whole thing seasoned with ketchup 🤦 When asked about this, the waitress was incapable of criticism. My husband liked the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and fries, but there was no salad as a side dish, as usual. There was still a tip, whatever.

Home-style cuisine with Westphalian specialties, burgers, salads, tarte flambée, changing seasonal menu. Also vegan and vegetarian dishes. Large selection of food. Fantastic (!) men's cream (Münsterländer Dessert). Large selection. Big portion. Very friendly and prompt service. The boss and senior partner are themselves in the service, family-run company.

There were nine of us there and had nothing to complain about. Food would be served quickly and to everyone at the same time. We asked several times whether something was missing or should be brought. TOP! I'd love to come back.

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön und heimelich. Der Service war sehr gut und man kannte sich mit Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten aus. Es gibt eine Allergiekarte.

Offenbar durch ein Missverständnis bei der Buchung,saßen wir nicht ,wie gedacht in einer Hütte vor dem Haus sondern an einem Tisch, für unsere Weihnachtsfeier vom Stammtisch mit 9 Frauen.Das fanden wir schade. Dort wurden wir sehr aufmerksam und freundlich bedient .Das Essen kam sehr zügig und es hat wirklich gut geschmeckt.Vielen Dank liebes Team von der Freiheit 24👍

Aufmerksames Personal, aber nicht Aufdringlich. Gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke. Hausgemachte Limonade ist mal was anderes und empfehlenswert. Das Essen war sehr gut.

Ist Weihnachten noch nicht weit, ist Glühweinzeit. Feiern vor der Tür in angemessenen Holzbuden. Auch wenn das Bier nicht bis zum Ei Strich- für manchen reichts. Baguette in 1,5 facher Größe mit Dip Schälchen in dem Gegenwert eines Discounters von ca. 99Cent. Tafelspitz in Zwiebelrahmsoße vom Feinsten. Die Bratkartoffeln gaben Ihrem nahmen alle Ehre. Braten heißt für den normalen Verzehr nicht noch Schwarz genießen! Chips kann man besser dazu servieren. ( siehe Fotos) Im großen und ganzen kann man aber froh sein, wenn man noch einen Platz bekommt.

Nach einem Spaziergang dort gegessen. Freundliche Bedienung. Ich hatte Fisch bestellt, leider etwas sehr wenig gewürzt auch musste man einen Salat noch zusätzlich bestellen. Daher der Preis schon eher etwas hoch. Trotzdem im großen und ganzen zufrieden und würde wieder kommen

Ik geef niet vaak vijf sterren, maar dit is vreselijk verdiend. Geweldig eten, zeer vriendelijke service en dat met prachtig uitzicht op het kasteel. Tip: probeer eens de Tafelspits. De rundvleessoep is ook heerlijk.

Ein gelungener Abend mit gutem Essen. Wir saßen draußen mit dem Blick auf Schloß. Ein Urlaubstag in der Heimat.

Essen und Service sind immer sehr gut. Preis-/Leistung ist 1a. Besonders toll ist es vor Weihnachten, wenn man im Winter eine Hütte reserviert hat. Das Ambiente ist dann Abends besonders schön mit dem Schloss in der Nähe. Parkplätze sind auch reichlich vorhanden.

Zum Essen selber kann ich nichts sagen. Wir haben nur Kaffee getrunken, der aber war sehr lecker. Jedenfalls für uns. Wir würden aber dort essen gehen.

Zawsze dobre jedzenie, desery i miła obsługa w pięknym otoczeniu starego, dobrze utrzymanego zamku i muzeum! W bliskiej okolicy Hotel, parking, butik z odzieżą i niewielkim wyposażeniem domu!

Das Essen ist immer gut. Die Qualität ist hoch und immer gleichbleibend. Das Personal und der Eigentümer sind immer, auch in Stresssituationen , sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Das Ambiente, mit dem tollen Außenbereich, und dem Blick auf das Raesfelder Wasserschloss, könnte nicht schöner sein. Wir werden hier noch viele schöne Stunden verbringen.

Motiviertes Team, gutes Essen und ein sehr gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis.
