Super delicious food and very nice staff. Prices are just what you would expect if you have a restaurant on the promenade, you have to come to terms with them. The food also arrived super quickly, good organization and preparation in the kitchen. Highly recommended

The food was good and tasty. Our vegans also found something on the menu. Service was good. We were completely satisfied.

When ordering green tea, I was hoping for something of better quality than boiled water and a sachet of Netto on a plate. I was disappointed😫. However, I also had a great time with my family and the waiters were wonderful 🤗. Thank you for this.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. Since the Köpi was closed we had to go to Frankys. The schnitzels we ordered were at the table very quickly. It quickly became clear to us why. The schnitzels tasted as if they had been left in a warm bowl for a long time and then briefly heated up again. The banana wheat we ordered consisted of 90% banana juice. It's a shame, it works better in mintard.

When ordering, I asked whether it was possible to get a dish listed as "spicy with chili" in a non-spicy version. This was denied (it's okay), I asked for another dish, here I was put off with the statement "a curry isn't a curry if it isn't a little spicy" and I was advised to take it, it would be yes only "a little spicy", then I said that I couldn't tolerate that and ordered a burger. So far okay. When the burger came, I took a bite and noticed that the burger patty was also spicy (my husband, who has no problem with spiciness, also thought so). I was then confronted with the statement "You are probably very sensitive about this", which - on the one hand - I had already tried to communicate when ordering, but on the other hand, you don't do that to a stranger (in such a tone). to my face as if it was my fault that I was too sensitive to food. Afterwards I only ate the burger bun with salad, left the patty and will not eat there again. (I was very rudely offered another dish, which I refused because otherwise the rest of my food would have ended up in the trash and I wouldn't have been able to get a new dish since I had already eaten part and a starter) Food 3 stars because the tarte flambée as a starter was delicious.

The food was very delicious. We ordered Pommes , rababa juice, guava dragonfruit juice, orange juice , mango juice and Gambas ( Prawn) mit Brot. All the juice was very refreshing. The best thing was their service . They served food within 15 minutes. We really enjoyed their food and service.

Ate outside in the summer. Location really great, right on the water. The food is really good!

Always delicious on site and super nice staff

Unfortunately, Franky’s Restaurant was very disappointing. Although the location is truly fantastic, the rest of the experience leaves a lot to be desired. The prices on the menu are grossly overpriced, which is made worse by the poor quality of service. The staff is extremely unfriendly, makes you wait forever and literally throws the menus at you. You're constantly being ignored and when you politely ask to be served, you get an outrageous answer that has absolutely no place in the restaurant industry. A really bad deal – not recommended!

Good atmosphere and good service. Being on the side of the river gives a huge bonus to the place as well but the coffee was also nice

We were on holiday and passing through Mühlheim. We came here based on a recommendation and I have to say absolutely top service, very polite and courteous. Eat. We had Sparibs Franky's Style and Franky's Ruhrpott Currywurst with Dip Fries. Absolutely delicious, the flesh of the ribs was tender and literally fell off the bone The sausage should be like a currywurst. Ambience Very pleasant on the promenade with a view of the Ruhr We will come back in any case.

Not sure I understand the (small) city, but this restaurant is definitely spot on: the river Bank gives a great view, and the service is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and my salad excelent

Ate delicious tarte flambée, sat nicely right on the Ruhr... but... The disabled toilet can only be reached from the beer garden area via 3 stairs (outside) without railings and then 6 steep steps inside. In addition, the disabled toilet was lined with chairs and boxes with cables. Not possible with a wheelchair.

The food came after 10 minutes. So there must have been a lot of things in the kitchen. The “fries” were oily and dry, possibly fried several times. The desserts were convenience products, the 'panna cotta', everything else but not that. Very small desserts and everything was quite to completely overpriced. We had imagined a cozy birthday evening, but felt left out despite the friendly staff. Not again…. Answer to the operator's answer: the fact that there was little traffic doesn't mean that you want the food put out after 10'. We communicated our criticism of the panna cotta to the staff. For me, Panna Cotta is a creamy and smooth cream mass held in shape by gelatine, as a variant with a coconut flavor, but not a stiff, dry, crumbly bar of 1x 8 cm format. The whole thing was comfortable for all six of us - also in relation to a planned one! Birthday evening - a disappointment. Although some of the main courses were ok to good. You can also tolerate criticism sometimes... In any case, for us, considering the answer, there will be no repetition...

Delicious food. Nice and attentive employee. However, the employees behind the counter were extremely loud in their work. Other guests also noticed this unpleasantly.

1 star deducted because the plate wasn't warmed up. Schnitzel with mashed potatoes was a very good creation.

It's not possible to stand at a table that has just been abandoned for 10 minutes and no one comes to clear the table, even though 4 people were walking back and forth empty-handed during that time. After asking "Well, then I guess no one has time," I find it very outrageous, especially As a guest, do I have to point this out to the waitress? It can't be possible in a service profession!!!

Great restaurant right on the Ruhr. Certainly a good address in summer too. The food was great, the waiting time was pretty short.

I'm Spanish, I spent a few days in Mülheim and the Ruhr and my friend took me to this historic place that he had already visited on other occasions. I had the opportunity to taste the famous and delicious dessert “Kaiserschmarrn”. The personal attention, the cleanliness of the place and its special location overlooking the river make it a beautiful place to taste both its culinary preparations and the beautiful Enjoy the view to spend a special day. When I come back, I will come back. I recommend. I was with a group of around 10 persons on a weekday evening so not very busy. The service was very good and the food prompt. The antipasta I found too sparse with the olives and meats with vegetables dominating the dish. Overall the mains were generously portioned and good quality. Prices were what I would expect for this type of restaurant. It had quite a nice open relaxed atmosphere. I would go again.

Gezapftes Bier, Glas unterm Eichstrich

Schönes Ambiente, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Essen. Leider variieren die Zeiten, wann die Küche schließt. Beim letzen Besuch war sie schon um 20:50 Uhr geschlossen, obwohl sie erst um 21:00 Uhr schließen sollte. Das passiert wohl nach Lust und Laune.

Essen, wie gewohnt bei Franky's, gut, allerdings leider nicht überragend und für meinen Geschmack etwas zu teuer. Wir hatten das Pfefferschnitzel, was für schmeckte, aber aus zwei kleinen "Pattys" bestand, mit Kartoffelchips und Dip. Die Chips waren sehr lecker, Gleiches gilt für den Dip. Das Schotter Schnitzel ansich schmeckte irgendwie nach nichts, was die Pfeffersauce aber wett machte. Für 23 Euro habe ich da durchaus schon deutlich bessere Schnitzel gegessen. Als Getränk gab es einen Cocktail... Ich trinke sehr selten Alkohol und merke diesen in der Regel recht schnell... Gefühlt hatte mein Cocktail nur neben Alkohol gestanden was ich für 8,50 Euro und einer überschaubaren Menge Cocktail echt schade finde. Unterm Strich: es war nett, auch für Hundefreunde toll, da Hunde eine eigene Karte haben, aber einmal reicht dann (leider) auch

Nettes Restaurant direkt an der Ruhr, freundliche schnelle Bedienung, Essen war völlig OK, das Angebot auf der Karte ist völlig ausreichend, da sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein, Wartezeit auf das Essen sehr kurz, besonders zu erwähnen ist die Karte für Hunde, die hier sehr willkommen sind. Es wurde sofort Wasser gereicht für den Hund, einen Knochen und Streicheleinheiten gab es noch dazu. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Perfekter Standort direkt an der Ruhr, im Sommer wie im Wwinter, tolles sehr freundliches Team, gute Küche, gute Getränkeauswahl und schönes Interieur. Die Preise sind langsam happig aber das ist momentan ja leider überall der Fall.

Meine Freundin und ich hatten Flammkuchen mit Kürbis. Es war eine Köstlichkeit. . Lieben Dank für die nette professionelle Bedienung! Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns darauf.

Hatte dort Firmenessen, Bedienung sehr freundlich , DJ sorgte für Laute Musik so das keiner sich unterhalten konnte und reduzierte diese auch nicht obwohl sichbar das keiner tanzen wollte. Das geht besser . Buffet aufs Thema abgestimmt , was fehlte war jedliche Beschreibung der Köstlichkeiten und Soßen so das für Ratespass bei den Allergiker gesorgt wurde oder für Leute die das Unbekannte lieben. Das macht sonst jedes Pommesbude.

Vielen Dank für die excelente Bedienung. Das Essen hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Die Kellner waren sehr nett. Die Atmosphäre ist hervorragend.

Schöne Lage, netter Service, man Sitz gut in entspannter Atmosphäre. Das Essen war schnell auf dem Tisch und gut, keine kulinarische Offenbarung, aber für die Preise ok.

Man sitzt sehr schön draußen und im Innenbereich. Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und nett. Das Essen ist lecker und auf ein Bier oder ein leckeres Getränk freut man sich.

Bei Franky´s draußen zu sitzen bei gutem Wetter direkt an der Ruhr ist schon schön. Es ist hektisch, durch vorbeifahrende Rad- und Rollerfahrer. Das Personal ist kompetent und flink.

Wir waren heute mit der ganzen Familie Essen, vorab die Eltern waren zufrieden mein Mann fand es OK und ich war gar nicht begeistert. Das Schnitzel schmeckte zu sehr nach Butter bzw hatte es ein Buttergeschmack. Die Champions waren aus der Dose und der Püree wirkte auch nicht frisch. Die Pommes meiner Tochter schmeckten nach älteren Fett. Ich weiß nicht ob ich zu wählerisch bin, aber ich finde für 19,90 das Gericht kann ich schon eine gewisse Qualität verlangen. Das Essen war sehr schnell fertig. Der Service war nett und freundlich.

Ich komme immer wieder gerne her...die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen ist frisch zubereitet, ansprechend angerichtet und dazu noch sehr lecker....was will man mehr.

Hier treffen wir uns, alle drei Monate. Personal ist immer freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Auf Bestelltes muss man nicht lange warten. Abiente bzw Standort natürlich super. Persönlich finde ich die Preise schon echt an der Obergrenze (0,5 Bier - 5,60€ , Currywurst knapp 13,00€ , gebratene Blutwurst/Endiviensalt knapp 20,00€), egal ob das Fleisch vom "Exklusiv Fleischer" kommt.
