Super freundliches Personal Sehr schönes Lokal

Auf unserem Weg von Köln nach Hannover haben wir spontan einen kleinen Umweg über Mühlheim gemacht. Mein bruder schlug dieses Lokal an der Ruhr vor. Die Lage ist sehr schön an der Ruhr, das Essen perfekt und die Bedienung super nett und natürlich professionell. Da wir eigentlich gar nicht hungrig waren, gab es es Kakao, Cappucino, Apfelstrudel und den Mediterranen Tomateneintopf. Alles sehr lecker. Wir haben die kurze Zeit zusammen sehr genossen.

Eine sehr schöne Lokalität mit dem Blick auf die Ruhrpromenade und einem schönen Außenbereich für schöne Tage. Neben einer großen Auswahl an Getränken gibt es auch gut sortierte Speisekarte für den kleinen und großen Hunger.

Mega Pommes, 1A Lage, super nette und schnelle Bedienung, einfach perfekt an diesem sommerlichen Abend im Mai. Vielen Dank! Sehr zu empfehlen!‘n

Die Auswahl an den Gerichten war dürftig. Kann verstehen, dass die Auswahl an Gerichten überschaubar sein soll. Aber dann nicht bei den meisten Gerichten extrem ausgefallen. Ist halt nicht jeder sein Geschmack. Trotzdem habe ich ein Gericht mit extra Wünschen( einiges weggelassen, da keine andere Alternative da war) erhalten😖. Das passte der Bedienung gar nicht und bekam dafür nicht gerade frendliche Kommentare. Jedenfalls hätte ich für das Geld woanders besser gegessen. Mein Mann hatte die Spareribs. Die waren nur geschmort und mit einer Soße eingerieben. Da stellt man sich was anderes drunter vor. Ist vielleicht Geschmackssache, aber für uns nicht nochmal. Ambiente ist eigentlich sehr schön. Schade

Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Gerichte waren reichlich, schön angerichtet und haben gut geschmeckt. Nette Location 😊

Schön an der Ruhr gelegenes Restaurant.

Schönes Restaurant mit toller Lage an der Ruhrpromenade, freundlichem Service. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert. Einziger Minuspunkt: Cocktails gibt es erst ab 18:00 Uhr, das könnte früher sein.

Kommen immer mal wieder hier her.

Wir waren heute bei Franky‘s Mittagessen mit unseren 2 Kinder. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch der Änderungswunsch meiner Tochter war kein Problem. Wir hatten später noch einen kleinen Salat nachbestellt dieser wurde zügig salviert. Da wir jetzt zum 3 Mal zu Gast waren und das Essen und der Service immer freundlich und lecker waren möchte ich das in einer positiven Bewertung hier mitteilen. Die Burger und Rippchen sind ein Traum. Franky’s Kindergerichte sind nicht 0815 sondern in unseren Augen toll umgesetzt. Danke und weiter so.

Schöne Lage, gute Küche, gut geschultes Personal... Sehr angenehme Erfahrung in der Service- Wüste Deutschlands...

Schönes Ambiente; Speisen qualitativ und geschmacklich gut, für unseren Geschmack etwas zu wenig gewürzt; Getränke recht teuer; trotzdem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt 😀 Ganz klasse fanden wir die Hundespeisekarte, demnächst darf unser Hund mit!

Wir waren Oster Sonntag mit 9 Personen da. Bedient wurden wir von der netten Romina. War immer sehr nett, und sehr freundlich, Besser geht’s nicht. Das Essen war Super gut, und sehr lecker. Preis war voll in Ordnung, Kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke nochmal für den netten Service.

Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant mit nettem Ambiente. Die Kellnerin hat Spaß an ihrem Job, Sie war lustig und super freundlich. Das Essen war toll ( Fischtopf, jederzeit wieder). Preisleistungsverhältnis mit 1 bewertet. In diesem Restaurant fühlt man sich wirklich gut aufgehoben. Weiter so.

Wieder super toller Service rundum. Waren hier schon merfach essen. Burger mit den Beilagen ok, auch der große Vorspeisenteller. Roulade mit Beilagen für den Preis und für eine Hauptspeise von allem zu wenig auf dem Teller. Essen selbst wirklich toll. Sonst war hier die Portionsgrösse stets einwandfrei. Hoffentlich ein einmaliger Ausrutscher. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

Tolle Lage und ein schönes Ambiente

Es hat einfach alles gepasst und das Essen war ein Traum 😋👍🏻

Sehr nettes Ambiente, Tische grenzen nicht Tisch an Tisch u. man bekommt nicht direkt die Nachbargespräche mit. Auf Hintergrundmusik wird verzichtet, doch wenn das Lokal voll besetzt ist wird der Lärmpegel (wie eigentlich überall) ansteigen. Bestellungsaufnahme war sehr zügig und sowohl Getränke als auch Essen waren sehr schnell am Tisch. Servicepersonal sehr aufmerksam und zugleich unaufdringlich. Es gibt sohar kleine Snacks für Hunde zu kaufen.

A very pleasant place. The staff were absolutely friendly and very organized! The food was delicious, and the proximity to the Ruhr River made for an even nicer atmosphere.

Very nice restaurant. However, it was very loud because it was busy. We still noticed that there was no background music. We received a friendly welcome and were served promptly. There's a small but fine menu, and the food was truly excellent. If I'm ever in Mülheim again, this restaurant will be my first choice.

Franky's on the Ruhr promenade in Mülheim an der Ruhr is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful restaurants in the city. A fantastic location right on the Ruhr with a terrace, super friendly service, and a diverse menu with regional, international, and vegetarian cuisine. Whether for dinner, a family meal, or a drink on the terrace, it's absolutely recommended!

The food was incredibly delicious. We had the goat cheese burger and the chili cheese burger, and both were incredibly delicious. The waitress, lovely Doreen, was very attentive and super friendly! We had a wonderful evening right on the Ruhr. Fantastic!

Never again, unfriendly and rude...after our visit today, I can only say the service is abysmal. Our order was only accepted after repeated requests, although tables that were occupied later were able to place orders. At the same time, the waitress told us that "she alone decides who and when someone's turn comes." After our drinks were served, the waitress gave us another tip: "If we have any complaints, we should contact Tobi, but above all, to give our best wishes from Doren..." The communication and the manner impressed us, so we left the place immediately.

We actually like going to Franky's. Especially to the big one. Unfortunately, the kitchen on the Ruhrpromenade is very inflexible. We were there with a small child and would have liked to eat there as a group of four. Apparently, the kitchen isn't able to prepare pasta without sauce for a child. I think that's a real shame. Therefore, we won't order food there again and decided against ordering a full meal that evening, sticking with drinks instead.

Beautifully located restaurant on the banks of the Ruhr in Mülheim

The food was pretty bland. Both the antipasti and the schnitzel required a good dose of salt to make them taste good at all. The schnitzels had a sloppy texture and weren't crispy – to us, they looked like they had been fried unevenly in a pan rather than deep-fried. We won't have to have them again.

We ate there today. 3 adults and 1 child (5 years old). Super friendly staff, very, very tasty food. We highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back again.

Always worth a visit. Beautifully located on the Ruhr River, friendly and attentive service, and the food: 🤩 Tried the salad with smoked tofu today – what a fantastic combination. I'll be back as soon as possible! 🥰 The currywurst also received high praise. The sausage comes from a butcher in Mülheim, seasoned with a spicy sauce, and beautifully presented. I can only warmly recommend a visit here!

We sat outside, so I can't comment on the interior. We had a wonderful, quiet outdoor seating. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food—we had pork cheeks, redfish, and schnitzel—was all very good. I definitely recommend going there sometime.

Our children were happy, and they're very discerning. As dog owners, we were thrilled with the selection for our four-legged friends. You don't see that often. The service was incredibly friendly. When we two adults mentioned that we were sharing a dish, they immediately served it nicely on two plates. Great, keep up the good work.

Great location, but unfortunately they no longer serve the South African boerenworst hot dog. Hence, one star deducted.

We don't need to talk about the food. Top-notch quality! What particularly strikes us, though, and this is the case at all Franky's branches, is the exceptional service. They ask, in an unusual way, "How do you like it?" instead of "Do you like it?" This gives me, as a guest, precise answers. The staff actually listens, not just listens. Always happy to come back!

Very nice atmosphere with a view of the water, friendly service, and delicious food. Highly recommended! The only thing is, the beer could be 4 degrees cooler.

If you come in a group, the menu will be taken away first. You then get a CLEARLY LIMITED menu, which is also special. For example, there are only vegan burgers and chilli cheese burgers with jalapenjos?!?!? When asked whether there is also a "normal" burger, you get the flippant answer: "They don't have that (what's the difference in the preparation? I would rather offer a normal burger than the special one???). Putting tables together for the group was almost a problem. Sales don't change if the table is here or there and I'm sitting here or there. We then mercifully had to sit in the blazing sun at lunchtime (customer service or customer orientation could have an impact on the tip ...?!?!) Price-performance ratio could be reconsidered. Yes, of course you have to take the situation into account, but if I order a currywurst at home, I get twice the amount for half the price, and then I get full from it.

Great location, outdoor area on the Ruhr

The goat cheese was delicious and nicely decorated with different salads. The hall-like design of the dining room makes it very loud; some sound-absorbing measures would be desirable.

Very easily accessible on the Ruhr Promenade in Mülheim. Very bright and nicely furnished, nice and friendly service. The menu is manageable, but there is something for everyone. The dishes (also vegan and vegetarian) are very tasty and the portions are really big. In terms of price, everything is also within the normal range. The quality is excellent. Highly recommended, this will not be the last visit. Thank you.

When ordering green tea, I was hoping for something of better quality than boiled water and a sachet of Netto on a plate. I was disappointed😫. However, I also had a great time with my family and the waiters were wonderful 🤗. Thank you for this.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. Since the Köpi was closed we had to go to Frankys. The schnitzels we ordered were at the table very quickly. It quickly became clear to us why. The schnitzels tasted as if they had been left in a warm bowl for a long time and then briefly heated up again. The banana wheat we ordered consisted of 90% banana juice. It's a shame, it works better in mintard.

When ordering, I asked whether it was possible to get a dish listed as "spicy with chili" in a non-spicy version. This was denied (it's okay), I asked for another dish, here I was put off with the statement "a curry isn't a curry if it isn't a little spicy" and I was advised to take it, it would be yes only "a little spicy", then I said that I couldn't tolerate that and ordered a burger. So far okay. When the burger came, I took a bite and noticed that the burger patty was also spicy (my husband, who has no problem with spiciness, also thought so). I was then confronted with the statement "You are probably very sensitive about this", which - on the one hand - I had already tried to communicate when ordering, but on the other hand, you don't do that to a stranger (in such a tone). to my face as if it was my fault that I was too sensitive to food. Afterwards I only ate the burger bun with salad, left the patty and will not eat there again. (I was very rudely offered another dish, which I refused because otherwise the rest of my food would have ended up in the trash and I wouldn't have been able to get a new dish since I had already eaten part and a starter) Food 3 stars because the tarte flambée as a starter was delicious.

The food was very delicious. We ordered Pommes , rababa juice, guava dragonfruit juice, orange juice , mango juice and Gambas ( Prawn) mit Brot. All the juice was very refreshing. The best thing was their service . They served food within 15 minutes. We really enjoyed their food and service.

Unfortunately, Franky’s Restaurant was very disappointing. Although the location is truly fantastic, the rest of the experience leaves a lot to be desired. The prices on the menu are grossly overpriced, which is made worse by the poor quality of service. The staff is extremely unfriendly, makes you wait forever and literally throws the menus at you. You're constantly being ignored and when you politely ask to be served, you get an outrageous answer that has absolutely no place in the restaurant industry. A really bad deal – not recommended!

We were on holiday and passing through Mühlheim. We came here based on a recommendation and I have to say absolutely top service, very polite and courteous. Eat. We had Sparibs Franky's Style and Franky's Ruhrpott Currywurst with Dip Fries. Absolutely delicious, the flesh of the ribs was tender and literally fell off the bone The sausage should be like a currywurst. Ambience Very pleasant on the promenade with a view of the Ruhr We will come back in any case.

Not sure I understand the (small) city, but this restaurant is definitely spot on: the river Bank gives a great view, and the service is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and my salad excelent

Ate delicious tarte flambée, sat nicely right on the Ruhr... but... The disabled toilet can only be reached from the beer garden area via 3 stairs (outside) without railings and then 6 steep steps inside. In addition, the disabled toilet was lined with chairs and boxes with cables. Not possible with a wheelchair.

The food came after 10 minutes. So there must have been a lot of things in the kitchen. The “fries” were oily and dry, possibly fried several times. The desserts were convenience products, the 'panna cotta', everything else but not that. Very small desserts and everything was quite to completely overpriced. We had imagined a cozy birthday evening, but felt left out despite the friendly staff. Not again…. Answer to the operator's answer: the fact that there was little traffic doesn't mean that you want the food put out after 10'. We communicated our criticism of the panna cotta to the staff. For me, Panna Cotta is a creamy and smooth cream mass held in shape by gelatine, as a variant with a coconut flavor, but not a stiff, dry, crumbly bar of 1x 8 cm format. The whole thing was comfortable for all six of us - also in relation to a planned one! Birthday evening - a disappointment. Although some of the main courses were ok to good. You can also tolerate criticism sometimes... In any case, for us, considering the answer, there will be no repetition...
