Frankfurter Haus in Neu-Isenburg

Wir waren zu einen gemütlichen Beisammensein im Frankfurter Haus in Neu Isenburg. Der schöne Biergarten lädt dazu ein, genüsslich zu Tafeln. Mit musikalischer Unterhaltung und guten Speisen bei passenden Preis war das ganze ein abgerundeter Nachmittag. Empfehlenswert !. Grüße Lange

Bedienung war freundlich. Essen ok aber die Preise sind schon sehr krass. Da sollte sich mal vom Pächter Gedanken gemacht werden. Kann ich so nicht empfehlen.

Excellent service and amazing food, The beef tartar was amazing!

It was much nicer and better!! I order a children's or senior citizen's plate, was promised a veal schnitzel with fries, I received a wafer-thin pork schnitzel with a cold potato salad for €16 instead of €12!!! Thanks so much. Will now go to Dietzenbach!!! No longer recommended, what a shame 😔

There was hand cheese as a starter, which was really tasty. The Caesar's Salad was very modest... All in all, the price/performance ratio was not right for us at all. It was worth a try, the service and ambience were okay, but still: we won't be coming back.

Biergarten worth visiting in Neusen

Wir hatten ein nettes Abendessen mit Muscheln in Weißweinsauce und zweimal Handkäse. Die Muscheln sind mit 29 € einfach zu teuer. Handkäs ist okay. Wollte noch mit dem Freund ein alkoholfreies Bier mitnehmen. Das kostete für 0,33 tatsächlich fünf Euro. Das ist nicht okay und steht auch nicht so in der Karte.

So, YES. The question is always, do you recognize the work? For me, YES. Service authentic? YES. Food delicious? YES. Are there innovations and moments of surprise? YES. Currently there is an ice rink and incredible effort? YES… #happyffmhaus… enjoy it! ;)

After a few years, a visit to the Frankfurt house again. Once I ordered Zurich Geschnetzeltes with Rösti, once with Spätzle. The food came surprisingly quickly at first. Instead of the Rösti there were apparently ready-made potato pancakes with a soggy, oily consistency that looked suspiciously like convenience food. Hardly any meat on the unheated, cold and carelessly arranged plate, but lots of mushrooms, which were probably intended to hide the fact that there wasn't enough meat. The meat was also not freshly prepared and was tough. The sauce was bland. My son's spaetzle was soaked in cream. So that was probably just a building block for the Kässpätzle on the menu, which also indicates convenience if you can't get the spaetzle any other way. It was my last visit there, the house still lives on its reputation from better times, but those are definitely over.

a great address in Frankfurt if you want to enjoy a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. Absolute recommendation

We were lucky to visit this restaurant during the summer time. The Biergarden is quite big and the lighting is nice as well. Service was attentive and not overwhelming. Food was good. I was a bit disappointed on the carrot soup presentation and taste (no bread, maybe too less carrots). However, we were contempt with our main dishes. We will probably come back with the family, as it is a nice location with ok food.

The location with the spacious beer garden is very nice in summer, and the playground for children on site is particularly impressive. The staff is very friendly, but a bit uncoordinated and extra requests are definitely ignored. The food is delicious, but the portions have shrunk - unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right. This has been evident since the change of ownership. I've been to the Frankfurter Haus countless times, from family celebrations to business lunches, and unfortunately I have to say that I now have the feeling that I'm being ripped off a little. A “special” menu (an excerpt instead of the cheap lunch menu or the regular menu) was offered for school enrollment. It is absolutely outrageous to charge €14 for a children's portion of spaetzle. Yes, there was first a saxophonist, then a DJ and a bouncy castle was set up - but that doesn't justify the prices. Apparently the school enrollment also turned out to be a real event, as the garden was very well filled - and the service was correspondingly demanding. It not only helps to be nice here, but the service should be at the table more often and also implement orders adequately. What's particularly tricky is that all the tables were set with 4 water bottles (2 each still and medium) and they were opened without being asked, even though we actually only had to drink sparkling water and order accordingly. The amount of self-sparkling tap water that is called for is remarkable. The prices for children's meals can really be described as outrageous.

A bit expensive, but quality has its price.

The reputation of the Frankfurter Haus as a Frankfurt institution already precedes it! So we wanted to try it on my uncle's recommendation. However, we didn't expect that we would be so impressed by this wonderful restaurant!!! The food - indescribably good quality. The service - 5*! Today there were three of us + dog in the Frankfurt house. The service did an excellent job throughout. Aesthetics, cleanliness, accuracy, animal friendliness, ... absolutely nothing to complain about. The prices are absolutely justified; if you want quality, you are willing to pay more for it. Above all, the portions are very generous for the quality level. We all had a relaxing and lovely evening and will be here regularly from now on. Thanks to the kitchen and the service, we have otherwise only experienced such a high level in the star kitchen.

Completely overpriced for what you get. It's really no longer relevant anymore. The menu isn't really tailored to the location of a beer garden. After the tartar, there were problems afterwards for the second time. You have to be much more careful with raw meat. Kitchen otherwise not bad, but average and overpriced. Had lunch at the Frankfurterhaus on Friday afternoon. The sea bream was super tasty and the shady spot invited you to have a piece of apple pie. Thanks also to the friendly and attentive waiter for the nice advice. Will come again.

The "Frankfurter Haus Haus" has a very nice beer garden. Unfortunately the service was very poor. We ordered our Handkäs personally at the counter after waiting 15 minutes. It then came quickly, but a hand cheese in a Frankfurt garden restaurant without butter...... It took 5 minutes to be brought. There was no real apology either. It's a shame, we won't be coming back.

Das "Frankfurter Haus Haus" hat einen sehr schönen Biergarten. Leider war der Service sehr schlecht. Unseren Handkäs haben wir nach 15 Minuten Warten persönlich am Tresen bestellt. Er kam dann zügig, aber ein Handkäs in einer Frankfurter Gartenwirtschaft ohne Butter...... Die brauchte dann auch 5 Minuten, um gebracht zu werden. Eine wirkliche Entschuldigung gab es auch nicht. Schade, wir kommen nicht wieder.

The Frankfurter Haus once had a very good reputation. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case today. The food as well as the service was terribly bad. And I won't go there again just for a nice beer garden. Four of us were there yesterday and ordered appetizers. No main course yet, which was an advantage. The Obazda was in no way an Obazda. This is prepared with brie. But this one was made with cream cheese. Completely tasteless and under Bezel I imagine a pretzel but not an Aldi/Lidl salt pretzel package that you tear open and fill into a key. The hand cheese was overripe and soaked in apple cider for far too long. The tartare was far too fine for a tartare and would have been nice if more manual work had been put into it, which is justified by a chef and the price of €20. The beef broth was too salty and could not be consumed. Luckily we left the store. The staff showed no insight and argued with That's how it is here! The chef on vacation. That's just how people know it here. Well, we are restaurateurs ourselves but these are definite no-gos. Never again in Frankfurt. Best regards.

Great revival of this legendary location. Food and service are excellent. The ochsenbäckchen weee superb! We might just become regulars :-)

the only good thing is the garden. the food was appaling, had twice the steak tartare, had a funny tummy twice afterwards. they do not mix all components like the meat with the capers and lemon juice etc. you have to do it yourself, but that requires the best possible meat quality because its the acidy sauce that "cooks" the meat within minutes. the wine was bad too. bottles costing 6-7e are sold for 9e per glass. no taste only acidy flavour. payment was bad too, can't pay with the phone. service comes across annoyed, tired. overall not a pleasant experience

Nice location! Nice personel! Kitchen disaster! I can't describe it better. Cheese spaetzle was very overcooked, sticky mass with ready-made fried onions and had a bad taste. The Zurich sliced ​​meat with roasted wedges the size of two palms was simply tasteless and simply overpriced for this portion. Sorry but no price performance level!

Ich war seit längerem wieder einmal im Frankfurter Haus. Die Qualität war top. Für die gebotene Qualität ist das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Besonders möchte ich die beiden Servicekräfte hervorheben. Super freundlich und top Beratung. Meine Freunde aus UK und ich waren absolut begeistert. Komme gerne wieder.

We were in the Frankfurter Haus for the third time since the change of ownership. The restaurant with a large beer garden is well located and offers enough space for many guests. Children can play in peace in the playground and dogs are also welcome, which is very welcome. The food tastes very tasty and is of high quality. The selection is varied and you can quickly find something suitable for small and large appetites. The service is without exception pleasant and friendly, but sometimes seems a bit uncoordinated, so that we had to ask twice for special requests. As good as the quality of the food is, the prices have unfortunately also risen. In my opinion, a bit too high. Therefore “only” four stars from me. The Frankfurter Haus is definitely recommended.

On July 14th, 2024 I had a small celebration (15 people) in the beer garden. I give the FRANKFURTER HAUS a very good rating because I was very satisfied with both the food and the service. (not of course after the Covid time) I have been visiting this location for over 20 years (with clients, colleagues and/or privately) and have never been disappointed. All I can say is keep it up and don't let up. I'd love to come back

Ambience and service can be described as good or very good. Very friendly and hardworking, even if occasionally overloaded. The food isn't above average, but the prices are quite exorbitant. Kaiserschmarrn for 18.00 euros (normal-sized portion) + bottle of water for 7.50 euros. Schnitzel over 25 euros. Way too expensive!

Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und das Service Personal war perfekt gewesen. Super aufmerksam das es allen positiv aufgefallen ist. Haben zuerst im Biergarten gesessen und mußten dann aber in den Innenbereich des Restaurants wechseln durch Gewitter bedingt und da war der Geräuschpegel doch sehr laut gewesen, und die Luft durch die Wettersituation sehr stickig. Ansonsten alles perfekt. Hatten einen wunderschönen Abend bei euch verbraucht und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. :-)

Wir waren als Gruppe von 14 Personen da. Die ersten waren bereits mit der Hauptspeise fertig als der letzte diese nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen erhielt. Die Speisen waren bestenfalls durchschnittlich, die hohen Preise daher nicht angemessen.

With the change of ownership, the kitchen is not what it used to be. Food was ok. But it doesn't correspond to the price set. The only thing good is the location and beer garden.

Leider Probleme mit den Bestellungen. Kassensystem abgestürzt. Wenn man über den QR Code bestellt hat war das Essen sofort da. Vielleicht das nächste Mal darauf hinweisen oder Aufsteller auf die Tische „Bitte via QR Code bestellen“.

A classic in Neu Isenburg. We came here by bike and sat in the beer garden when the weather was nice - highly recommended. The menu is rather expensive with classic Hessian dishes and seasonal specialties. Very nice service!

Essen war wie immer gut, der Service eine Katastrophe. Das Essen kam nur zum Teil und dann der Rest 40 Minuten später. Echt schlecht der Service!

We were here with a big group for a big birthday lunch. Service was quick friendly and easy. All our wishes were implemented and the food was outright fantastic. From the Ribs over the salad to Kaiserschmarrn, nothing to complain about and i tend to be very picky... Kids loved it as much as we did. Not only because of the food, but there is a fully grown playground next to the outdoor seating. Even the drinks were remarkably good. We will certainly come back. One of the better food/gastro experiences this year. Thanks guys!

You sit very nicely. The location is great for a beer in the beer garden. Unfortunately really very expensive (became) children's schnitzel 17€ (!) All other dishes all at least around €25, Kaiserschmarrn €16. Live and let live but every dish across the board felt €5 too expensive… Summer garden is beautiful!

Wegen Muttertag gab es ein kleine Karte, aber es war für jeden etwas dabei. Es wurde auf alle Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Das Essen war gut und ausreichend. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Unser Nachtisch wurde vergessen, den haben wir dann noch aufs Haus bekommen. Wir konnten bei wunderschönen Wetter im schönen Ambiente draußen sitzen.

For its first anniversary, the Frankfurt house has outdone itself. The ambience and the food were outstanding. There was live music, a competition with medlars (the proceeds went to children), a bouncy castle in the playground. Just a great day. Thanks to the event manager... RESPECT for THIS work... the thing rocked successfully!!!

The location is nice and the beer garden with attached playground is also recommended for children. However, the service and prices of the food have diverged greatly... As an example in the photo, the “wild herb salad” (without meat, without nuts/seeds, cheese…), which is served without a slice of bread, for a whopping €18

Every time we visit the Frankfurt area, this place is on our regular stop list. Food is excellent and will provide some remembrance in your future. There are food and beer options galore. So, if your hungry, stop in, say hello, and if it's warm, eat and drink outside. Do arrive early for the best parking selection.

Delicious food and nice service. The ox cheeks were super tender and the venison bratwurst was also very tasty. Unfortunately the Wienerschnitzel was a bit dry. For a long time the service was just one-on-one, despite the house being full, which is why it took a while. But despite the stress, always friendly. We'll always try out the beer garden in the summer when the weather is good.

The restaurant is located directly at Frankfurt's city forest; In summer, when the weather is good, you can sit outside in a sheltered area - only the traffic noise from the B3 next door could be a bit annoying. In winter a small ice rink was set up and punch was served - great idea! The indoor dining room is on the ground floor and offers space for perhaps 20 tables. The dark wooden tables and chairs, the decor on the walls, the bar - everything looks like "this is a German inn". The classics on the menu basically confirm the impression (e.g. meat loaf, schnitzel), but various "specials" are offered that you would not otherwise expect (e.g. ox cheeks, wild salmon). A special menu depending on the season creates further variety, although the vegetarian selection could be larger. Our food tasted excellent and the presentation also looked very chic. Our service was friendly and prompt, a problem with the reservation was solved professionally - great. Of course, such a “restaurant-level inn” has its price; most main courses with meat cost a good €25. We can still recommend it, you get something for your money. Arrival: Public transport stops right in front of the door, and there is a sufficiently large parking lot for drivers.

Schönes Ambiente, toller und sehr freundlicher Service. Wir waren zu viert und alle Gerichte waren nicht ganz günstig, aber sensationell lecker. Gerne wieder.

Wir hatten Wildbratwürste, die definitiv keine waren. Wild ist gröber und geschmacklich komplett anders als Würste aus Schwein. Die Küche bestand darauf, dass es Würste vom Hirsch waren. Sie waren aber hell und geschmacklich und von der Konsistenz her genau das, was man von normalen Bratwürsten kennt. Sonst war das Gericht in Ordnung aber 18 Euro für zwei Bratwürste war so leider inakzeptabel.

Schöne Lokation, hervorragendes Essen, 1a Bedienung - und nicht ganz billig, aber angemessen.

Das Essen hier ist einfach hervorragend. Wir haben noch nie einen so guten Kaiserschmarrn gegessen. Wir kommen wieder.
