Four Seasons in Göttingen

Beware of rip-offs!!! I ordered a perfectly normal chicken soup to pick up, the cup was LESS than half full. For 7€. Then I called and it was hung up on my face. I then went there and was very annoyed and explained to me that it was all about quality. I wonder what quality of meat the meat has 😂 the employee was very unemphathetic, angrily threw the soup back and gave me back the money without saying anything and sent me away without eating. Thumbs up for top quality in mini portions and unfriendly staff👍🏼 I didn't even try the soup so I can't really say anything about the taste. If she had eaten because I was sick and hungry, people would have simply reacted more friendly and understanding on the phone or in the restaurant. But not like that!

I would like to give 0 stars, unfriendly staff and the food was disgusting. I don't know what the chef does for a living, but he definitely hasn't learned to be a chef

Very inconspicuous place but excellent food

The food is really very tasty. Had the most tender duck I've ever eaten here.

One of my favorite places in Göttingen. The food is and has always been delicious, fresh and special requests (allergies) are also taken into account. The Pho soups are one of my favorite dishes. The “winter garden” that was created last year is visually great and creates a feel-good atmosphere. A good place even with smaller children!

Super nice Vietnamese food and a great ambience.

I've been here several times and the food is really incredibly good. I really love the pho soup and the milky matcha and always enjoy coming here. However, the service leaves something to be desired. Today we sat at the table again for half an hour with empty glasses and tried in vain to draw attention to ourselves. Finally we gave up and went to the counter to pay. Nevertheless, I will come back because the food is simply incomparably good. I just hope the service gets better.

Le Four Seasons – un restaurant vietnamien qui, contrairement à ce que son nom pourrait suggérer, m'a vraiment étonné ! Je m'attendais à un établissement plutôt ordinaire, surtout en voyant leur carte qui propose des plats d'autres horizons, comme le Kimchi ou le poulet teriyaki. Mais quelle agréable surprise ! Après avoir savouré leurs délicieux 'crystal rolls' et un Bun, j'ai été bluffé par la qualité exceptionnelle des plats. L'ambiance du restaurant est chaleureuse et accueillante, même si son emplacement dans une zone d'activités peut sembler un peu inattendu. Cela dit, c'est un endroit où je retournerai avec grand plaisir !

The Four Seasons – Vietnamese restaurant, as its name does not suggest – is a real surprise for me: I was expecting an average restaurant, given the impressive menu with dishes from other countries (like Kimchi or teriyaki chicken). But after tasting “crystal rolls” and a Bun, I was impressed by the quality of the dishes. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good, even if its location, in an activity zone, may seem surprising. But I would happily go back!

Very tasty food and friendly service.

My visit to the Four Seasons was truly a pleasure. I ate duck there with a spicy soy sauce variant, which I absolutely loved. The combination with thick ribbon noodles, more precisely udon noodles, was simply perfect. The udon noodles are nice and thick and have a soft, elastic texture that tasted great combined with the sauce. The soy sauce was hot and spicy, which made the dish particularly delicious. Overall, a great taste experience that I can definitely recommend. If you like spicy dishes, this is the place for you!

There is a great vegetarian/vegan selection. The food was very tasty and fresh, the service was very friendly. Our highlight was the vegetarian starter plate with 4 dips. Cozy and lovingly furnished restaurant :-)

Our visit to the Four Seasons was a stroke of luck. Very tasty food and great drinks! For example, sensational espresso! The tables inside are already very close together, which also makes it comfortable. Absolutely recommended.

Vietnamese restaurant with good food and a very nice atmosphere. The service is very accommodating. The price is a little higher but it's worth it 👍👍. Can highly recommend the homemade drinks.

I was a spontaneous guest. The restaurant was not full but well attended. I thought it was cute on the inside, with sliding doors and lanterns. The service was friendly and quick. The food, a Pho soup, was delicious. The tofu was really great and there was fresh Thai basil and coriander. One point deducted because the guests are looking at a collection of garbage cans. There is still something that can be done. Otherwise you're great.

The menus could be renewed, revised and corrected. For a good portion of the dishes it is not clear what you would be served. This is particularly important if you have food intolerances. I don't want to have every dish explained to me personally. What I ordered was tasty and had a good portion size.

We had a roadtrip in Germany and found this excellent vietnamese restaurant in Göttingen. The food was very delicious, fresh and well prepared. The restaurant atmosphere is lovely. The owener and staff are very nice and welcoming. The price is very reasonable. That was a great experience and we would love to go back and try other options on the menu as well.

Fresh and tasty ingredients and very well-balanced and authentic tasting dishes. Can 100% recommend if you are looking for excellent food (and refreshing drinks) at a fair price. Private parking is available.

The taste didn't blow me away, the banh mi was too boring. The summer rolls were tasteless. But above all, the portions were shockingly small. The ambience is quite nice, apart from the main street. The staff is friendly. I still didn't get full. :( Sorry guys, I appreciate your effort - but I don't have to go there again.

We were passing through and since our hotel had closed its restaurant, we looked for something nearby and only came across this Vietnamese man by chance. What we ate there and what we experienced in terms of taste was extraordinary. I can only recommend everyone to try this restaurant. It starts with the homemade drinks through the fantastic starters and sensational main courses. We were so excited. We would love to come back again and again. Unfortunately we live far too far away. Service great, decor great and food fantastic! I had number 32 on the hot plate and it was awesome. If you like duck meat you definitely have to try it, the meat is tender and well cooked. I also had a mango-passionfruit mojito as a drink and that was great too. Definitely worth a visit!

The food here is really good - I eat pho fairly regularly and I have to say that I really enjoyed it here the best. The other dishes that we have already tried here (e.g. Banh Mi, duck) were also tasty and the prices were okay. Everything tasted fresh, very aromatic and - as far as I can tell - authentic. The homemade, delicious drinks are also worth mentioning. Unfortunately, there are only four stars instead of five for the service: once we had to wait a long time for service, even though we were the only guests, and then went to see her behind the counter on our own initiative, where she was busy with her cell phone. Another time the restaurant was very busy and the service was hopelessly overwhelmed and noticeably stressed. Some dishes couldn't be ordered due to missing ingredients and we had to wait a good quarter of an hour before we could actually pay after being announced. The ambience is tastefully decorated and everything seemed quite clean.

Very nice restaurant. You sit on benches/stools without backrests, which makes a longer stay a bit uncomfortable, but the food is great! Finally no glutamate-laden Asian food, but really tasty dishes! The service is very friendly, I would like to come back. Price/performance is right.

Seen from the outside, the building is boring and the surroundings need a loving hand. But once you have come inside and been seated, you are absorbed by the cosy, Asian atmosphere in the room. The food is super delicious and there is plenty of it in the portions.

We ordered, delivery was quick, but one dish was missing, the other was wrong (missing rice and wrong meat). The money was then transferred to us via Paypal (instead of simply making a new delivery) then we had to order again via Lieferando. We did. 1 hour later, everything was simply canceled. Now we're left without food.

Were here in transit. Nice staff and very tasty food, especially the duck with jasmine rice and peanut sauce. Dessert is caramel cream and as a drink I recommend the Tiger on tap.

The Four Seasons will forever have a special place in our hearts. After our first visit in August 2022, we were so impressed that we have visited or ordered at least 10 times since then. Primarily for the delicious Banh Mi Tofu, which is not available anywhere else in Göttingen. Thanks to the restaurant, our love for the Vietnamese sandwich was rekindled. A few weeks ago we went there again after a long time and ate there. Surprisingly, we discovered that the menu had changed, for example, the freshly squeezed sugar cane juice was unfortunately no longer available. The size of the Banh Mi had also decreased - with the same price. However, as always, the food tasted very good. So we left the restaurant satisfied but with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

We were relatively disappointed. The simple ambience is fine, but unfortunately the service that evening was inattentive and unfriendly. I wanted to have 2-3 things explained, unfortunately my questions were brushed off with “Yes, how should I explain this to you??” And not nice, but ironed out! (I now know: HALF-Wheat noodles are spaghetti! They probably mean durum wheat) The food wasn't great either, I had the 34 with fried rice. The entrecôte was tough like leather. My two companions were equally unenthusiastic about what they ordered. Food was okay, but nothing more. A pity!

Here is a true gem! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, the staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is simply fantastic – fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, especially the [popular dish] was a highlight. The drinks menu also offers something for every taste. Highly Recommended!

Traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Top. You can sit inside or outside in the covered area. Not necessarily very quiet as it is located on the street. Parking lots available. Service is very courteous and responds to questions and requests. Food diverse, fresh, appealing to the eyes. I had 2 starters of kimchi salad (spicy) and Vietnamese crystal rolls with duck. Dessert is always possible. Bánh Chuoì Nép (banana chips - steamed sticky rice, mango strips, coconut pieces and strawberries) Super delicious. All for about 20 euros. They also offer homemade lemonade. We recommend. I'll be back.

We happened to be in GÖ with school, found the shop on TripAdvisor and it was just fantastic. The quality of the food was top notch and I have never experienced the preparation so well. Since we are from a little further away we can't go here regularly, it would be different but we would do this. The next visit is already being planned. Absolute recommendation!!!

A hair came out of the food and the waiter just laughed. The food only tastes mediocre.

Great food, only the salad didn't seem to be completely fresh. Apart from that - super seasoned and a very large portion! Good value for money considering the food used. When it comes to the ambience I can only give it a 3 - which is due to the location on Kasseler Landstrasse - the interior is quite nicely designed. Special recommendation - the mojitos!

Nice restaurant that is beautifully decorated with a “winter garden”. The food came quickly and was very hot. There is a large selection of exceptional drinks and we enjoyed the food. I missed the spinach in my food a bit though? Maybe it was also used in the sauce? Parking spaces are available in front of the door.

We had the vegetarian starter platter and vegetarian vegetables and rice. It was very good and freshly cooked. We were there again on the way back. There was no waiting time.

Every time we have an appointment in Göttingen we go to the Four Seasons for dinner. Very tasty, nicely decorated and cozy... Ate at 4 Seasons again today. It was very good again. A clear recommendation for me. At the next appointment in Göttingen we will stop for dinner again. Had dinner again today, March 15, 2024....double jammi 😃😃

It's a nice place for asian cuisine. They have good vegetarian options. I had fried rice noodles with tofu and vegetables. They have good parking options and also easily accessible.

Great Vietnamese restaurant. The food is delicious and quality price also good. The atmosphere is also good thanks to the decoration of the business and the service was excellent. They have a variety of homemade drinks that they are highly recommended. The only recommendation will be to change the homemade drinks name under the name of “Mojito” when they are actually non alcoholic drinks.

Very authentic, delicious Vietnamese restaurant and food! There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Göttingen, but the Four Seasons is the best in my opinion. The dishes are all fresh, cooked with love and beautifully served. The high level is also reflected in the selection of products, no frozen vegetables, a colorful variety of everything. The home-made drinks and iced teas are highly recommended, and there is also Vietnamese coffee here, you definitely have to try it! The service is very attentive and friendly, happy to explain things if necessary. The food was served very quickly despite it being a Saturday evening and the restaurant being full. It makes sense to make a reservation as the store is very small and there is parking on site in the yard.

It's a better snack. The entrance is in a wooden shack, we first walked past the door and then we discovered the sliding door. We asked for a table for two. We were immediately asked whether we had reserved, which we replied in the negative. The snack bar was a maximum of a third full, which should change to half during the time we were there. We were offered a tiny table for two or a table for six with the option that two more could be added. The tables weren't clean, they were a bit sticky, but ok. There were no chairs just stools or benches. Which was very uncomfortable to sit on. The feeling of a beer tent set arose. We still took a seat. The waitress came quickly with the cards and took the drinks order. The map was a collection of sheets of paper stapled together, some torn out and all crumpled with dog ears. The waitress came and took the order. The food came quite quickly. The quantity was more than small, I had to take a Pitta Gyros with me on the way home. Most of the food on the plate, which didn't have a nice design, was salad. Little meat and little rice, which was brought separately on a mini bowl because the plate is very small. The taste was good, but the portion was too small for the price.

Die hausgemachten Getränke schmecken typisch vietnamesisch. Das Essen wird mit viel Kräutern und Gemüse serviert. Obst, Gemüse, Kräuter sind frisch und lecker.

Sehr schönes Restaurant und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker und köstlich, vielfältige Geschmacksexplosionen waren zu erschmecken. Es ist eine Empfehlung da zu verweilen um so die fernöstliche Küche kennenzulernen.

Kleines, aber feines Restaurant. Nettes Personal, sehr leckeres und frisches Essen. Man merkt, dass sich alle viel Mühe geben und mit Leidenschaft dabei sind, deswegen auch sehr authentisch.
