Dang Quan Asia in Göttingen

Dang Quan Asia is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant in Göttingen. You can't tell from the little booth in the parking lot, but the always friendly boss cooks just like she would cook for herself. Everything is freshly prepared in front of you. I'm glad that the Open sign has been hanging outside again since August 20, 2024. Of course I don't use a delivery service, but just drive out to Lutteranger myself. In the evening I usually have beef with rice and vegetables (46) plus a wonton soup (2), totaling only 12.50 EUR. I can hardly manage the menu, but it still tastes good a day later. I give it full marks: five stars. It's all a question of taste, but giving fewer stars is incomprehensible to me and simply not fair.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. Delivery took far too long (2 hours). The food was not of good quality. A bag of freezer would have made it better. The stomach pain was no longer a miracle. Dangerous to eat here!

So rude!! I cleaned the cutlery before consumption Partly overpriced (see picture and an extra portion of rice €3) the curry is a failure, so many carrots, hardly any beef, where are the beautiful sprouts? No eggplant, vegetables are cooked through A piece of meat in one piece 🤣🤣 And the mushrooms are ridiculous too And the rudeness continues. Be careful when opening the refrigerator, you are almost entering her kitchen. 🤣🤣🤣 P.S. I ordered the rice right at the beginning because the portion is small.

The food didn't taste good at all, I was sick all night long.

It's not about the ambience - this mini restaurant is designed so that you can order and have it delivered. What tastes particularly good and I always have it delivered is the fried rice with duck - the pieces of meat are considerable compared to other Chinese restaurants.

I had dinner there today and can only say that it is perfectly fine for the price. See you next time.

I've been there several times now and often had things delivered. The food was always great and there wasn't a long wait. Extra requests are also taken into account. I am very satisfied and highly recommended

I have eaten a lot of food in my life, but Dang Quan has never let me down when it comes to GOOD food. I've been eating at my favorite Asian restaurant for years and the cook always cooks fresh food for me. The lady is very friendly and serves the food very quickly. It comes to the plate hot and fresh. Which statements are made about the vegetables being TK should rather go on to McDonald's and blame themselves for the food there. The cook literally cuts her vegetables fresh in front of the guests, which can also be seen in the roughly chopped pieces in the food. There is no such thing in mass processing via TK. The ambience invites you to eat on site, and you even have the opportunity to eat outside in the warmth. I only recommend the store. I guess there are hate reviews from other shops in Göttingen.

The restaurant offers a good selection of traditional dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Overall a very nice experience.

Totally incomprehensible reviews! The owner of the snack bar doesn't speak German very well and has built something up here in the country! The food is great, delivery times are met and she does her best (found out through a personal conversation). Don't listen to the reviews and form your own opinion as a human being!

CAUTION!!! Just don't order. Quality and service are an absolute disaster. The duck was limp and tasted like old frying fat. The sauces taste inedible and are as thin as soup. In addition, the first delivery was partially wrong, the replacement delivery came so late that the rest of the food was cold. When a complaint was made on the phone they simply hung up. So…hands off!!!

Meat and vegetables still raw! After complaining, they simply hung up. I can't recommend it.

There are nice wooden tables and benches and cutlery, but you are rudely informed that everything is only for take-away and that you cannot/are not allowed to eat anything on site. Then keep your slack. 👎👎👎

I sporadically go here for a quick lunch at lunchtime. As others have already noted, the prices have risen, the portions (especially meat) are smaller, but in the context of general price increases I don't necessarily want to rate this negatively. The rice portions were m.m.n. always very small, i.e. not sufficient. I think an extra portion of rice for 3 EUR is pretty excessive! I find the curry dishes with coconut sauce to be excellent in terms of taste. Any time. The service, on the other hand, is disastrous, so I'm now looking for an alternative. Yesterday, January 11th, icy cold outside, also very cold inside (ok, I don't expect a heated restaurant), so of course the plate was also very cold. I asked to warm it up first (just put hot water in). This was refused in a very rude manner, something like: "We're not a restaurant here. We don't have a warming plate." I didn't want to, just put hot water in. Then she acted ignorant: "I don't understand..." Strangely enough, she couldn't speak English either. - Of course the food was cold on the plate at the end. - I tried to keep the form and said "goodbye" at the end. - No Answer. Sorry, Ms. Dang Quan or whatever your name is. That will not do. That's no way to keep customers. Even in a snack bar, some friendliness and service must be possible. I only gave it a single star (two or three would perhaps be fairer given the delicious food, in my opinion), so that you might wake up there and something will change.

I just placed an order and it was canceled after 6 minutes. Thank you for the fact that I now have to wait 3 days for a refund. Too bad, I won't order anything there again.

I ordered a portion of noodles and ate two bites, but it was tasteless and it was a pity to throw it away. Fortunately, there was a foreigner next to me. Even the foreigner felt a little disgusted with the taste😅😅😅😅. I tasted it carefully, but fortunately I only ordered one portion.

We ordered from this restaurant as normal via the app. After 45 minutes we get a call in which an unfriendly woman tells us: "We don't deliver there, it's far too far." We gave the postcode and were only 10 minutes away by car, because Bovenden. The woman then said we should cancel because she doesn't do that. A further inquiry leads to unfriendly responses and when we tried to inform her on the second call that we couldn't cancel it because it was paid directly via Applepay, the woman hung up! A store with this kind of customer service should be closed.

We love good, healthy food - and you'll definitely find that at Dann Quan. All red curries are very tasty and I particularly recommend the Massaman curries! Admittedly the atmosphere is extremely simple, but the food itself is really good and highly recommended - the lady knows how to cook!

Ich bewerte nicht gerne negativ, aber leider bleibt mir nichts anderes übrig. Vor ein paar Jahren war das Essen dort wirklich gut. Leider hat die Qualität sehr nachgelassen. Gebratene Nudeln, die nicht gebraten sind und eine Ente die nicht genießbar war. Das war leider nicht das einzige Mal. Es ist schade wenn Qualität nicht gehalten wird.

Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht ganz verstehen, die Dame vor Ort ist sehr freundlich und das Essen hat absolut lecker geschmeckt. Es ist halt eher ein kleiner Imbiss, aber dafür ist wirklich alles super! In den gebratenen Nudeln, war sogar reichlich Fleisch und viele leckere Zutaten. Die Nudeln haben so lecker geschmeckt, dass keine Sauce nötig war. Oftmals muss man Sojasauce oder andere Saucen rein schütten um etwas Würze zu haben, das ist hier nicht nötig. Ich werde wohl öfter zum Mittag vorbei schauen :)

Äußerlich macht es nicht den besten Eindruck. Preise sind okay. Sauberkeit finde ich nicht zufrieden stelend . Besteck war nicht so sauber. Leider. Freundlichkeit ist okay.

Freundliche Bedienung, schnell etwas gutes zu Essen bekommen und sitzen kann man dort auch. Für die schnelle Mittagspause zu empfehlen.

Eher nicht zu empfehlen, beide Suppen waren sehr wässrig. Der Reis war sehr sehr klebrig und die Soße am Hauptgericht war eine Mischung aus Wasser und Würze. Für die Portion ist der Preis auch unangemessen. Wir haben das 1. und letzte mal dort bestellt. Einzig gute war das der Fahrer nett war und sie Lieferzeit eingehalten worden ist.

Ist leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Preise angehoben und Portionsgrößen extrem verkleinert. Beim gebackenen Hähnchen mit Reis oder Nudeln liegen nur 4-5 mickrige Scheiben Hähnchen oben drauf. Da passt Preisleistung nicht mehr wirklich. Nudeln und Reis sind zudem mega fettig.

Definitiv Essen zum mitnehmen, wer vor Ort isst, bekommt weniger auf den Teller. Das Fleisch wenn gebacken, muss unbedingt kürzer frittiert werden, es ist oft hart, gelb und trocken. Ansonsten schmeckt es echt gut. Trotz einiger negativen Punkte, zu empfehlen

Super lecker! T15 ist mein Favorit! Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und sehr schnell, keine 5 Minuten und das Essen ist fertig. Sie macht alles selbst. Alles frische Produkte und auch ohne Glutamat auf Wunsch.

Gebackenes Hähnchen war ein panierter Schnitzel in Stücke geschnitten. Curry Suppe war ganz lecker. Gebratene Nudeln haben nach nichts geschmeckt was ich hier schon öfter gelesen habe.. also kann man sich eventuell mal Gedanken machen einfach mal etwas am Rezept für die Nudeln zu verändern was wohl keine Meisterkoch Künste verlangt ?

Sehr lecker, ich habe eine Ente mit Gemüse mit Currysauce bestellt, Schweinefleisch auf Sichuan.

Die Bratreisportion waren nicht randvoll wie man es von anderen Asia-Imbissen kennt, aber die Preise sind auch recht günstig, von daher gab es bei mir nichts zu beanstanden. Die Lieferung erfolgt in unter 30 Minuten nach Bestellung :)

Essen kam super pünktlich sogar 10 Minuten vor der Zeit war warm und lecker trotz Wochenende. Der Lieferant am Wochenende ist super freundlich und nett und die junge Dame in der Woche ebenfalls sehr gut erzogen und freundlich! Hab mich auch bereits vor Ort bekochen lassen, zwei mal wie auf den Bildern zu sehen und das selbe Gericht an verschiedenen Tagen, dass Essen war einfach genial jederzeit wieder !
