Food-Lounge Sachsen-Allee in Chemnitz

Good and varied food offering with seating and a great ambience around it.

Great idea to create a common dining area here, so every family member can order their favorite meal and eat it together.

In principle it's a good thing, but unfortunately the many USB and power ports are all switched off - ALL of them. No info, nobody knows. I went there with a laptop and now have to leave again. Eating and working is probably no good then. Please fix this again 🙏

The food lounge on the upper floor of Sachsen-Allee was a good idea. Before there was only one Italian ice cream parlor with a mixed offering. There is no shortage of visitors. You have free choice of seating and plenty of fast food restaurants, depending on your needs. The service staff there are busy putting away containers for dishes. Sometimes they can't keep up with wiping the table, mainly because of the crumbs from the KFC. There is also a small seating area for children, where a film used to be shown, as well as a small microwave for warming up baby food. Free Wi-Fi and a few power outlets are also available. Directly above is a well-designed system of lighting and grilles to keep leaves and debris from falling on people. Only on particularly hot days does it feel a bit like a greenhouse, and the blinds on the roof windows are of no use.
