Very nice pub with lots of regulars. The landlord and the cook are very friendly people and you immediately feel welcome. Food is delicious and unbeatable in price. The place has largely retained the charm of the GDR and that's a good thing.

We ate here for the first time this afternoon. This is what hospitality looks like. Both portions were perfect. Quality and quantity. There was a very attentive service and beautifully prepared plates. Everything freshly prepared. Pleasant atmosphere in the guest room. We had always heard only good things from relatives and acquaintances and today it suited our hike on the “Schwarzen Holz”. We'll definitely be back! We ate venison with croquettes filled with cranberries and schnitzel with cream mushrooms.

The food was delicious. Could have been a little warmer. The service was friendly. Unfortunately, despite ordering, we were at a walk-through table and it was far too small for 4 people. Unfortunately, this didn't create a feel-good atmosphere and the restaurant feeling was also missing.
