Best pizza in ages! Authentic Neapolitan style, 100% spot on (I lived there for 6 months). The Primitivo was also highly recommended.

We spent a weekend in Eltville and ate at the Ford factory restaurant on both Saturday and Sunday. The service was very friendly both days. The pizza was extremely delicious, and the rest of the food was also very tasty. Thank you for two lovely evenings.

We've been regulars at the Food Factory for almost two years now – our absolute favorite Italian restaurant in the Eltville area! We're both in the food industry and really enjoy good food and drink – and everything here is just perfect: service, food, atmosphere – not too much and not too little. We wholeheartedly recommend the Food Factory. 10 out of 10!

We waited a full hour for three pizzas. When they finally arrived, we asked if they could be cut. Our lovely waiter, Hakim, replied, "What? Do I have to walk all the way back now? Why didn't you tell us that before?" He added, "We only cut pizzas for small children." It's absolutely outrageous to treat customers like that. The pizzas themselves were okay, but even if they had tasted really good, the waiter completely ruined our appetite. Extremely unprofessional.

I stumbled upon this place by chance during a bike tour. In short: Delicious food at an excellent price-performance ratio – and very friendly service. Definitely worth a visit again!

Many restaurants around the world find it very difficult to deliver a good performance. Even the amount of seafood on the pizza was more than sufficient. Please keep it up!

The pizza is very good, and the restaurant's ambiance is also perfect for Eltville... Just another pizzeria that hasn't been in Eltville for a long time! 👍 The only thing is that the name "Food Factory" sounds more like fast food to me... Pizzeria & Trattoria without the suffix wouldn't be wrong 😅 Update Summer 2025: The outdoor area needs a bit more maintenance!

We visit the restaurant on public holiday without reservations. The restaurant was full, but they rearranged and took a table from balcony to welcome us! The pizza and the lasagna was lovely. 100% recommended!

We visited the Food Factory for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled. Incredibly delicious pizza (Napolitana style), fantastic service (thanks to Ella & Kiara, who served us wonderfully), and a simply cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

I visited this pizza restaurant with my family last weekend. The place was clean and the staff friendly, but the service was a bit slow. We ordered a Margherita and a pepperoni pizza. The Margherita was good, but the pepperoni was a bit too salty for me. Also, one of our drinks was forgotten, and we had to remind the server. Overall, it wasn't bad, but I expected a bit more for the price.

Never again. We both threw our €25 pizza in the trash (including the €5 delivery tip?). Barely any cheese, the rest was in the middle. You couldn't take a slice without 90% of it falling onto your plate (whether it was warm or lukewarm). The taste was abysmal, and we're simply crossing this place off our list. I'll give credit where it's due, but not here. But nice people.

I won't consider getting a pizza delivered again, as it's impossible to eat out of hand. It's completely mushy, only hard around the edges, and there are lots of cheap ingredients and few more expensive ones, especially onions and mushrooms on the vegetarian pizza. The pasta was delicious, but it was a different pasta than the one ordered...maybe it's better at home...

For an order of six pizzas on a Saturday evening, I find a delivery time of over an hour long, but just about tolerable. The fact that the delivery then took almost two hours, that we weren't proactively informed about this delay and the delivery time being almost twice as long, and that when we called, we were only told "the delivery would arrive in 10 minutes," which was also completely untrue, is unacceptable to me. Furthermore, listed ingredients (like mint) were missing from the pizza. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this for delivery - delivery service was very poor; the pizza was acceptable.

We had our girls' night at the pizzeria. It was our first time there, and everyone had a great time. All the dishes were absolutely delicious. The welcome and service were very friendly. We felt really comfortable and were truly delighted. It was a truly lovely evening.

Super delicious food, friendly and attentive service.

We were there yesterday and thank you again for the friendly service and for getting us a seat despite not having a reservation. The salad and pizza were delicious.

Why are the prices higher on-site than on the current online menu? The answer could be that the online menu is for street sales—but that's not stated anywhere! Why don't they publish the correct prices? The plates are filled differently, but they cost the same. ...and the question about the length of stay in the online reservation is simply unacceptable; it never happened—there's no need for it! But the pizza is great, and the beer garden is very nice.

We waited 1.5 hours for our food. Meanwhile, orders were constantly being placed, and the place was maybe half full. That's completely unacceptable. The waiters were also incredibly unfriendly; everything was simply lacking.

The service is very good. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It's a place where you feel at home. The food is excellent. I'm an amateur cook who can make my own pasta dough and even pizza Napolitana. The food here is very, very good, and the atmosphere is outstanding. I love coming here. See you soon.

We had a really great experience here. The food was delicious — everything came out fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. It took around 30 minutes, but it was definitely worth the wait. The drinks were also surprisingly good and matched the food perfectly. The service was super friendly and attentive, and the whole vibe of the place felt relaxed and welcoming. It’s a spot where you can really enjoy your time without feeling rushed. Prices are fair considering the quality and portion sizes. Would definitely come back!

*See update below* That was nothing. Our delivery on Sunday evening had already taken over 1.5 hours to arrive and was finally delivered by a young driver. No apology for the long wait, no call from the food factory saying it would probably take a little longer, etc. – instead, they wanted another paper towel for the mess they had made. The entire dish was covered in the salmon pasta sauce, soaking the boxes and soaking the pizza inside. The fact that all the cardboard lids were soaked through also suggests that the driver had been on the road for quite some time. The kids are hungry, you've been waiting an extremely long time, and then this mess – which can happen, but then without even a word or even picking up the phone – is a disgrace. *We were contacted by the restaurant and not only did they apologize, but they also received a refund for the amount of our order – unfortunately in the form of a voucher, which is supposed to tie us down again. Nevertheless, it's positive to see that they don't care about everything and value customer satisfaction and their external image. 1 star to 3 stars

Great pizzeria with one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The crust is incredibly crispy. We were there on Father's Day 2025 and can honestly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good pizza, but also wants to try a plate of appetizers.

Eltville, Food Factory. An enrichment in the service landscape in Eltville. Everything really fits: value for money, great food, great service, popular with young and old. We've been there many times and I would give the same rating for every visit. Even in times of peak occupancy, the service staff are in control of the situation and always have a smile for the guests or jokes. The general opinions among friends confirm this assessment!

It was nothing to do with the order. One thing is missing and what arrived, if it was well-intentioned, was lukewarm.

I ordered Hawaiian at home and it turned out to be with tuna! With onions, which I hate.

They used to be better. Pizza dough was super thin and then topped even thinner, the dough was so hard. The salad dressing is far too little.

This store is absolutely amazing. Once you've had a pizza, you'll be hard-pressed to find another that beats it. They are no longer open for lunch, which I think is a shame. The store was always full. I don't understand.

We have ordered several times and are thrilled every time. The food always arrives hot and extremely quickly. We never wait longer than half an hour, rather shorter. No matter whether we order pizza or pasta, everything tastes delicious. Absolute recommendation 🤗

Hello. Have been to the Food Factory Essen 3 times so far. So far the food has always been good! Today I probably made a mistake when ordering, I ordered veal liver. The liver about 8 mm thick. The quantity fit on a 10 euro note. After my complaint we were given 2 small pieces. Liver was added later, the onions dripping with fat would have been enough for 3 plates. The mashed potatoes were very tasty, unfortunately the onions and liver were a bit too salty. My tip to the waitress: if there is no special in the cupboard! Then no closed bottles on the table! Still 3 stars? Yes, because my wife's food was good and plentiful! My tip for the kitchen: It's better to take the liver off the menu.

I correct my experiences. The first visit wasn't so great... we've been there probably 10 times since then and it's always great!

Unfortunately I had a very negative experience this evening. We had reserved a table for our group of dogs. Everything seemed okay too. When we arrived we were greeted in a totally unfriendly manner. The supposed boss ran after us with a foul-smelling spray and rambled about the smell of dogs?! He even made fun of it with guests. We were asked to leave the restaurant immediately after eating. I couldn't even finish my shandy. Nothing like that has happened to me yet. We will never enter this restaurant again and will not recommend it to all known dog owners. Not to mention that the pizza had a crust that was way too thick.

The food is always very tasty and the delivery times are adhered to. Delivery service is always very friendly 👍🏻 Unfortunately, one star was deducted because it often happened that an ingredient that was specially ordered and paid for was missing from the meal. Nevertheless, we like to order there and will continue to do so.

Ordered for the first time today, but overall we weren't that impressed. The pasta was extremely spicy, the calzone was so flat that it fit into a normal pizza box - we're not familiar with that. The pizza overall was very soft and unfortunately not crispy. The salad was delicious.

We always have problems with deliveries, either the order doesn't arrive in the kitchen or something different than what was ordered arrives. Despite the many apologies, things aren't getting any better. That's why we won't be ordering anything there from now on 👎

The food itself is okay but EVERY time there is something wrong with the order. If you want hollandaise sauce after baking, don't put it on it before baking!

The restaurant impressed us on our first visit. On the one hand, there are the customer-friendly opening times, because when others nearby are closed for lunch, this one is still open late. Secondly, the service is very friendly, quick and competent. Thirdly, the food (we had pizza) is very good in the style of a traditional trattoria. The quantities and prices are fair. Unfortunately there has to be a deduction for the old walls, but you can see everywhere the owners' desire to tease out Mediterranean cosiness from what is already there. We would love to come back and try the reasonably priced lunch menu during the week.

A great, rustically furnished restaurant. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we still got a table right at the counter. That's how we love it 😃 We ate a pizza and think we've never had a better one. The staff is courteous and quick. Please keep it up. We'll be back.

We arrived after our wine hike without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon and all the spots were taken. Nevertheless, we still got a great place outside and blankets to protect us from the cold. The service and the food were great, a super tasty pizza. The tiramisu is also highly recommended. Thank you for the spontaneous and very good service.

We went for dinner late on a Friday afternoon without booking in advance. The friendly service gave us a table for two hours, since we were in transit that was perfectly fine. The food and drink suggestions were competent and good. the food was very good, typically Italian and authentic. The portions were very good in the first and main course. We will come back. tip ! Find a parking space beforehand. Finding a parking space is not easy in the city

Very good food no matter what you order. Always very nice service. The only thing I have to complain about is that the second time I ordered the pasta with aglio e olio with shrimp there was cheese on it. Please please don't do this anymore! That definitely doesn't belong there...at least for me.

I recently dined here, an Italian restaurant with a cozy ambiance. While the service was friendly and the atmosphere inviting, the pizza was just average. It wasn't bad, but it lacked the wow factor that makes a pizza memorable. If you're looking for a decent meal, it's worth a visit, but don't expect to be blown away by the pizza.
