We spent the weekend in Bremen celebrating my partner's birthday and had dinner at LUV. Everything was perfect and highly recommended: the ambiance, service, tableware, wine, and food. We will definitely be back.

We've been here several times, and it's always been good. This time, we had the feeling that the kitchen was staffed by temporary staff; every dish had flaws. Upon request, they corrected the issue, but somehow it was a bit off. The service was friendly and attentive.

If you want to eat you should talk to the waiter or waitress beforehand about where you want to sit. I was unlucky and was in the beer garden.

Last night we went to LUV for dinner on the terrace. The service was very friendly, fast, and competent. The food arrived quickly, even though there were no free tables (only in the self-service area). We had one chanterelle mushroom soup with a small tarte flambée and one pork schnitzel from the topside with fried potatoes and rosemary. The schnitzel was prepared with clarified butter, not in a deep fryer! Both portions were sufficient and very tasty. I can highly recommend the food and service here anytime.

Beautiful space, nice atmosphere, very friendly service, good, varied menu, and beautifully presented dishes. However, the chef could be a little less generous with the salt. It was really too much (for both main courses) and it doesn't do justice to the other flavors.

Restaurant at Schlach4e with outdoor seating. However, you can only eat inside. It's very large but has a very nice layout, so you have your own private area. Unfortunately, it's very noisy. If you're sensitive to noise, you shouldn't visit here. The quality of the food was very good. And the price-performance ratio is good. We didn't have to wait very long, even though it was quite busy. The hot fish dish is very tasty and highly recommended.

We sat outside and were served perfectly by the very friendly staff, Kathleen and her colleagues. True professionals in their field. We were completely satisfied.

We sat outside and had a nice table for 4 adults and 3 kids. The service was excellent and very attentive from start to finish. The food was also excellent; we had schnitzel, salads, and kids' meals. The interior of the restaurant looks very nice and cozy; I would probably come back during the colder months and try out the lovely bar inside.

It was a truly unique experience. I had the pasta of the day, which was exceptionally good for a daily menu. The Parmesan truffle fries are highly recommended; they are a true taste experience. I also had a burger, which was definitely very filling and large. The meat was of good quality. Nevertheless, Luv is a bit on the more affordable side and offers a more experiential feel.

Top shop, top service and Julia is really the best

I haven't paid so much for such poor quality in a long time. I ordered the vegetarian Thai curry with coconut. What came out was a very thin soup in which the vegetables weren't even cooked (I actually like vegetables al dente – but not raw!). The rice needed another three minutes to absorb the watery soup, and the only seasoning was a generous amount of curry powder sprinkled over everything. Bottom line: If you can't cook a dish, don't serve it! Hungry as I was afterward, I thought you couldn't go wrong with a strawberry sundae – far from it! Strawberries without sauce in the bottom of a tall glass, which was filled with soft serve ice cream, and a small dollop of cream on top – instead of strawberry sauce, a touch of crumbs (unidentifiable) and a few drizzles of caramel sauce???? What's that all about???? Conclusion: I didn't get to the strawberries until the ice cream (I don't really like vanilla soft serve) was finally gone!!! To my knowledge, I've never left anything in an egg cup before, but this time I did!!! At least the service was very attentive and the ambiance unbeatable – but I won't be seeing you as a customer again anytime soon!

We were at LUV on Thursday evening. This is our fourth time. It's always there when we're passing through. This time it was even better than usual. The food was excellent and delicious as always. Surf and turf was top-notch. But Kathleen, our waitress, made it a particularly special evening. Best wishes and keep up the good work.

A lovely evening with the family at LUV. We had a seat in the beer garden by the water. Very pleasant. We enjoyed the evening with delicious food and wine. A big compliment to our waitress. She contributed positively to the atmosphere. We'll be back!

We were there with three people. The service was very friendly and quick, the starter was great, but the main course was unfortunately completely oversalted. The chef said it can happen, but it's not common. We didn't even get water to quench our thirst, but instead had a restless night with diarrhea. We wouldn't recommend the restaurant!

Four of us went there on the weekend. You should definitely make a reservation, as the place is packed. I wasn't used to the table layout; they're arranged on several levels. It's a great concept, as it means everyone can sit on their own. Great idea! The server was attentive, and our orders came quickly despite the full house. I also really enjoyed the slightly different kind of spritz (with rhubarb liqueur). The food is delicious, but also a bit on the expensive side. Overall, all four of us were thoroughly impressed. We highly recommend the restaurant.

About the food: Unfortunately, we weren't impressed. We only had one starter, which wasn't great, so we didn't eat the main course afterward. I had the cappuccino with chanterelle mushrooms, and my companion had the "truffle fries." If you offer truffles, you should state that they don't contain real truffles, just plain oil, or at least mention it when ordering. The fries had a creamy flavor, but the oil unfortunately completely overpowered them, and they weren't really tasty. Otherwise, they were nice and crispy and flavorful, just the way you'd want fries to be – they would have been okay without the truffle oil. Unfortunately, the cappuccino was tasteless, and afterward, I had an upset stomach and had to spend the evening in the bathroom. Not a good start. Therefore, I wouldn't come back for dinner. About the service: Everything went well with the ordering process. A middle-aged gentleman served us quickly and very friendly. To be sure, he repeated the order, which I found very positive to avoid any misunderstandings. The food arrived – everything was fine. After our meal, however, a young lady, presumably of Thai origin, simply took our dishes away without asking if we were ready or how the food was. I just wanted to ask her if there was a cigarette machine nearby, but oh well... The fries were still full, but okay. Then the man came back to us and asked if everything was okay. I then mentioned the fries, which immediately created a very tense situation. It seemed as if he took it personally. After my comment, he briefly left with a curt "Thank you" and returned unprompted with his wallet to immediately take our money. We still had drinks in our glasses, and the bottle of water wasn't empty either. We just had to laugh at what had just happened.

The food is excellent. It's not particularly cheap, but in terms of quality/price, I think it's a great deal.

The food was very tasty. However, you have to pay extra for every side dish, including sauces, tzatziki, etc. Some side dishes were too expensive for me in terms of value for money. The restaurant has several levels. We were on the upper level. What bothered me about the service was that after our plates were cleared, there was no service for us. Only after I moved to another level did the service respond. The high price is due to the drinks consumed.

Best restaurant I've seen till now

The food was great, creative and plentiful. The nice lady at the service was quick, friendly and asked for our advice. The creme brulee was enough for two people and the vitality salad was very good. During our visit it was very warm and therefore very stuffy inside without vans or air conditioning.

We know of few restaurants with such great service, specifically, staff! The food is incredibly delicious, but what we particularly appreciate is the specials menu, so the food never gets monotonous. Thanks to the entire team; many of them work in the background, but they make sure everything is top-notch!

We spontaneously asked for a table at Luv. The food was uncomplicated and friendly, even though it was quite busy. The atmosphere was very good. The food was excellent and came out piping hot. Yesterday the four of us were upwind. We were able to sit outside nicely. The service was very good. Of course the three of us ordered asparagus with ham. The prices are somewhat in the higher segment. We were even more amazed at the taste of asparagus and potatoes. The asparagus didn't taste as intense as usual and the potatoes had a strange consistency and no taste at all. Too bad. When we asked the service, we received the answer: the potatoes are cooked in the asparagus water to save time. What kind of nonsense is this? The potatoes release the starch into the asparagus water, which then sticks to the asparagus. This means that the asparagus tastes like potatoes and the potatoes taste like asparagus, and it's also unsalted. That wasn't a good idea from the kitchen. I was then told that no guest had ever mentioned the potatoes. Conclusion: We won't eat asparagus there anymore. The veal pouches, which my husband chose based on a recommendation from the friendly waitress, were very good.

Beautiful terrace on the banks of the Weser!

The *Luv* ​​restaurant is located in Bremen on the Schlachte, directly on the Weser. We went there as a group of 11 people. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating that I would have even given it 6 stars. The food was perfect and everyone enjoyed it very much. Our group was enthusiastic and unanimously of the opinion that we would like to visit this restaurant again on our next visit to Bremen.

Big praise to their waitress Inessa! In this day and age, it's nice to find out how much joy, friendliness, positive, helpful arrangement she pampers her guests with! Last Saturday we spent a wonderful day with you in the sun, right by the water! Instead of wandering from restaurant to restaurant, we felt so comfortable that we stayed until the evening and let Inessa pamper us! Advice on drinks, very, very good and also eaten deliciously later! Thank you for the great day!
