It's solid, but not as good as it looks. The waiters are nice and the food is okay.

I wanted to treat myself to a nice steak. After three bites, I didn't want to chew on rubber anymore. The staff were completely unhelpful. A truly great location. It's also a great place to take a stroll. Everyone should form their own opinion. Let's put it this way: I can get pizza on every corner. Maybe this restaurant should focus more on that. But not on steaks that cost over 40 euros.

We had a reservation, but on a Tuesday it wasn't necessary. We had to wait a bit at the entrance before being shown to our table. The service was very friendly and attentive (and therefore businesslike 😉). Drinks were served quickly. The starters and main courses were delicious, and the portions were generous. We'd be happy to come back.

For reservation and space: The restaurant has always been known for combining good quality food with a nice ambience and friendly service. Unfortunately we were disappointed this Easter Sunday. We had reserved a table in advance with twelve people. The table was in the far corner. It was so close to the back wall that those sitting in the corner couldn't get up without the others having to get up. The chairs are either too wide for one side of the table or the table is too short. It's extremely tight for three chairs on each side of the table. It has to be said that all the guests were not broad-shouldered giants, but there were, among other things, four children. About operation and service: The service was quite friendly and took the drink order quickly. These were also brought to the table very quickly. When we placed our food order, we would have liked to have been recommended the dish of the day. We only read this later on the board. After 20 minutes the food arrived at the table. After the obligatory ten minutes we were asked if everything was OK. We refrained from answering. As a result, we had to be very careful when ordering further drinks. This was partly uncomfortable because we had to make this request from the back corner of the restaurant. When some of us had already finished eating, others were still eating and finished the rolls. When we cleared up we weren't asked if we were ready. The plates were cleared away without comment while there were still guests eating on the other side of the table. There were also various empty glasses of cocktails, cola and beer on the table. By the way, the menu says 0.25 liters of water and 0.75 liters of water. When we first ordered a small water and then a large water, we received a 0.3l glass of water even though we wanted a 0.75l bottle. To eat: Some dishes were ordered by some of our group during visits in the past. An objective comparison is therefore possible. Unfortunately, twice the El Mundo grill plate was nothing. The poultry was far too dry and fried or braised for too long. The beef was very tough and took a long time to chew on. The lamb was quite neutral in taste. The side dishes and sauces were okay. The Thai beef stir-fry was bland and tasteless. The pieces of beef were well fried medium, but also very tough. The salmon fillet was also dry and steamed or fried for too long. The dishes for the children with the chicken schnitzel and the pizzas were well received. Unfortunately, that was all. The dessert plate (variations) was overloaded with sorbet and mousse. Probably a gap filler, but way too much of it. The brownie and crème brûlée were very good. The additional rolls served are very good and tasty. We then ate them with the sauces from the grill plates. In conclusion: The menu was on the table at every place. This meant we were able to choose the dishes early. The drinks menu is only available online with a QR code. I think both are okay, but a completely online version or completely as a card would have been better. We didn't understand this hybrid solution. Finally, out of five stars we have to deduct one for the narrow table and two for the mediocre food. So only two stars remain. Oh El Mundo: You used to be able to do everything much better!

A real disappointment. The food is really not good, even if there is a complaint the staff will stand in the way. True to the motto “It doesn’t taste good? Bad luck.”

We have been regular guests at El Mundo over the past few years and have always enjoyed our visits. Unfortunately, over the last 1.5 years we have noticed that the quality of both the food and the service has declined significantly. This was confirmed again during our most recent visit last week. The dishes were not convincing in any respect: the chicken in the Mendoza pan was riddled with tendons, the fries were limp and over-seasoned. The other dishes were also below average and did not correspond to what we were used to in the past. Given the prices charged at El Mundo, we as guests expect a significantly higher quality, both in terms of cuisine and service, which has also deteriorated significantly. A particularly annoying point at the end: Four out of five people in our group shared a starter, and all four had to deal with severe stomach problems that same evening. Overall very disappointing, unfortunately no longer recommended.

Highly recommended! A little more expensive, but that is made up for by the good taste of the food and the large portions.

The atmosphere was okay and the food was good, but unfortunately, the service was very poor. We waited a long time for our dinner, and my husband had to repeatedly call the waitress just to order another drink, but no one came. When I asked to take the rest of my food home (since I was full from the appetizers), the waitress brought me a disposable plate and a bag and expected me to pack the food myself at the table. I was really surprised—this is the first time I’ve experienced something like that in a restaurant anywhere in the world. Normally, the kitchen handles this properly. Overall, good food but very disappointing service. I hope the management improves this.

One of the best and tastiest restaurants in HB and still inexpensive. The space is a matter of taste, but for me it is always an eye-catcher.

Service and food were good, but leftovers to take away had to be filled and packaged at the table ourselves?!? Unfortunately, there was no milk alternative at all - really inappropriate in this day and age.

The food was great, but unfortunately we got fries instead of our potato wedges without any information. Otherwise, we continue to like the restaurant very much. Due to the enormous size of the restaurant, the coziness of eating out is unfortunately somewhat lost here. I remember El Mundo from the old days, where you had to queue forever until you finally got a table. But it was always worth it.

We ate at El Mundo so often now. My husband likes the Surf and Turf pan. I don't like anything. I ate 3 different pasta dishes, something Indian, a bowl, steak and nothing was convincing. Can't recommend the food. Especially if you order a medium steak and get it almost well done... The woody asparagus ends were still there and there is no real sauce in the potato gratin, just garlic. Somehow I didn't like any of the dishes. Very unfortunate.

We recently stayed at El Mundo and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is modern and cozy at the same time, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional - we felt completely at home. The food was a real highlight! The selection is huge, from juicy steaks to fresh vegetarian dishes to crispy pizza – everyone will find something here. My steak was spot on and the sides were also excellent. The evening was rounded off with fantastic desserts. Another cool extra: the service with robots! It's more of a gimmick, but it definitely provides entertainment and makes the visit even more special. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair for the quality and the ambience. We will definitely come back and can fully recommend El Mundo!

This shop, this beautiful interior, the hot waitress, my full stomach, the hot Vilsa Gourmet knife, fork, spoon and napkin holders, everything is perfect. My sweet tooth was so empty that I almost robbed a food truck, but this place satisfied my uncontrollable greed. The surroundings looked rich to me, but even as a homeless person I was in good hands here. When I came in, however, I was briefly afraid that robots had started to take over the world and challenge Jesus for the throne. But they only brought food. The price is very good and the stomach is full. This restaurant is a restaurant. My plautze was so great after the stay that I fell down the stairs. I actually weigh 60 kilos, but after El Mundo I was so big that I could no longer see my Sipp when I looked down. The belly was so bulging that I was able to expand my own magnetic field by 2 kilometers. The way home was the hardest part of all. So it was very good

Highly recommended, the food was very tasty, the prices are absolutely fair. Price performance top. Our waiter Oggi was super friendly, not pushy and very professional. Even though the room is very large and high, it was comfortable and the volume was always pleasant. Thank you, we will definitely come back when the opportunity arises.

Unfortunately we expected too much here. The cocktails we ordered really only tasted “run of the mill” and were not beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the antipasti plate and the hummus we ordered tasted very bland. I was particularly disappointed with the antipasti; the vegetables didn't seem marinated or grilled properly, just seemed warmed up and had no flavor. Olives and pepperoni straight from the jar to the plate. The trotters weren't bad, except for the meat alternative - which should have been well fried beforehand. Unfortunately, the patty was too fatty and the vegetables that came with it were also rather boring. In general, we expected more of a more upscale restaurant, as the prices aren't exactly low either. The service was ok.

This restaurant brings back pure childhood memories! Even as a child, I loved eating here more than ever before. The food was always delicious and the portions were huge. The service was great – friendly, attentive and quick. A restaurant I love returning to again and again!

We were there today with 12 people. The food was great! Rollo, grill plate, Mendoza pan everything was ordered and no one was disappointed. The appetizer was also great! Since the restaurant is very large, it is unfortunately also very loud. The staff was super friendly and always very attentive.

We are regular guests. Also happy in a larger group. El Mundo is particularly suitable for this. There is a large selection of dishes here and everyone will find something to suit their taste. The food comes quickly and is always beautifully presented and tasty. If it gets fuller, it can get a little louder due to the huge hall. But the ambience is still very cozy despite the large space. It's best to reserve in advance. If you still spontaneously feel like it, you can try to get a table by waiting, but I don't recommend this for larger groups.

We've enjoyed going to El Mundo for years because the atmosphere is always pleasant and the restaurant used to be really outstanding. Recently, however, we have the feeling that the quality of the food has declined a bit, especially compared to before. Nevertheless, we enjoy our visits here and are always happy to come back. The service is still friendly and the location simply invites you to linger. We hope that the food will return to its previous quality soon!

El Mundo was once a small restaurant in Bremen Walle and a real insider tip. After moving and expanding in Überseestadt, we first had to get used to the size. We were back after a long break and super satisfied. The service was very friendly and the food arrived at the table very quickly. The robots are funny, but probably just intended as a gag. As a non-curry eater, the Thai curry was fantastic for me and I'll be back for that alone. The menu is quite large and everyone will find something to their taste here. For the fact that I prefer small, cozy restaurants, I give it a thumbs up and keep it up.

The food tastes good, but I think it's a disgrace if you plan a nice evening with your girlfriend, reserve online in good time, then call. This was our third time at El Mundo for our annual Christmas party and every time we are more than satisfied! Despite our large group of over 30 people, who all order individually à la carte with starter and main course, everything runs smoothly. The food comes to the table quickly, hot and at the same time so that we can enjoy it together. The service is simply great! Attentive, friendly, with a lot of humor and a noticeable joy in the work. Even with our sometimes chaotic drink orders, everything came very quickly. A great atmosphere, especially for large groups – we will definitely be back! !

The food is A1 with stars. The operation doesn't work at all. Very unfriendly. You didn't feel comfortable. I politely asked if the gentleman could please pack my food. That's when I said, "Well, I'm definitely not going to pack it up, you can do it yourself." Excuse ? He addressed my partner as “brother,” even though the two of them didn’t know each other. The drinks arrived at the table one at a time. My coaster was thrown on the table like we were in the pub. My friend didn't get his drink until later and didn't even get a coaster (they're small things but still not nice). After paying, no “have a nice evening,” or anything like that. Just a,, bye,, . I come to a restaurant that has quality, offers an open kitchen and feels like I'm in a fast food shop. Pay €150 and get such a service. That was my last time here with you. Too bad. The food is really delicious, unfortunately the chefs can't help it...

We go to El Mundo Bremen relatively often but the service today was more than just cheeky. Arrived 15-20 minutes late for the reservation because of the traffic jam and were then insulted and told that the next visitors would come for the table at 6 p.m. All well and good but the waitress coming at 5:30 p.m. with the receipt and asking us to pay and leave is more than cheeky!!! Especially because we reserved until 6 p.m.

I have a blue star there, the guest is there, the food is great, the staff are all very friendly and do their job well. Thanks to everyone, including those who do their best in the kitchen... I'll be back...

Top restaurant in Bremen. Always worth a visit! Menu with a huge selection of very tasty dishes from all over the world (also suitable for vegans/vegetarians). The portions are huge - one starter is often enough to fill you up. Be sure to reserve a table a few weeks in advance on weekends and during the Christmas period. The staff is very friendly. And the price-performance ratio is also great.

Just been here recently and again today - this time with a beautifully decorated birthday table. It was a really great surprise to be personally congratulated with a handshake at the reception and by the staff! As always, the food was fantastic, the service was warm, attentive and, despite the hut being full, a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere. Simply great! We'll be back :)

The antipasto pizza was delicious. When I asked, I also got salt, but unfortunately there was none on the table. That took a while. The homemade lemonade was delicious. The service was good. The ambience is not my thing, a bit cafeteria style. But that is also a matter of taste. I was there with a larger group. The food and drinks were delicious for everyone.

Update: unfortunately the second visit was also rather mixed in terms of taste. The eggplant in tomato sauce lacked spices and the lavash bread that came with it looked like industrial bread from the supermarket. It's a shame because the ambience and service are good. Unfortunately the bowl wasn't good. For the price there is better food elsewhere. Instead of the mango dip, there was a very heavy mayonnaise-based dip. Everything was drowned in it and therefore far too greasy. The vegetables were too oily and over-fried and the main component was plain rice. Too many cashews. I still feel sick to my stomach. Cleanliness was completely fine. The other dishes looked better, hence just 2 1/2 stars.

Waiters were courteous and very warm, the food was brought to us by robots with the courage of a cat face - my nieces were blown away. Food good

Communication regarding reservations in advance is extremely convenient. I ordered for 16 people. 4 people canceled. Wasn't a problem. Food is awesome. Ceiling height may not be for everyone, but it doesn't seem uncomfortable. The highlight are of course the serving robots! It's just too funny how they roll around. Suggestion: Let them “dance” every evening at 10 p.m. in a shared choreo to rhythmic music. Guaranteed to go viral! Friendly and attentive service. Thanks for the great evening. 🙂

When I was at ElMundo for the first time in mid-December, I would have liked to give it 5 stars. The service was 1a, the food (grill plate) was really very good. Now my second visit to ElMundo. Accompanied by two people, one of whom had never been to ElMundo. To start with, the service was again very good. Friendly, attentive and polite. The food: A person who accompanied me ordered the Pizza Tonno. Except for the edge, the dough was ok. The topping was also quite ok, so the 15 euros advertised was reasonable. The second person ordered the chicken breast skewers curry style for 20.50 euros on the recommendation of the waiter. Three skewers of chicken breast with chimichuri and potato wedges were brought. The chicken breast was totally dry and inedible. There was absolutely nothing to taste of the curry style. The food went back. Instead we just ordered an appetizer. Buffalo mozzarella on vine tomatoes with olive oil and basil. On the carelessly arranged plate there were 6 slices of tomato, each with a small ball of buffalo mozzarella, garnished with a few drizzles of olive oil and a few leaves of basil. Nothing you should pay 10.50 euros for. Like weeks before, I order the grill plate and I'm really looking forward to it. The grill plate 33 euros consisted of a sirloin steak, a turkey steak and a lamb kebab skewer. There were also potato wedges and three kinds of dips and herb butter. A larger sprig of rosemary was unnecessary and didn't even serve as a nice decoration. The turkey steak was just OK. A minute longer on the grill and it would have been hard and dry. The sirloin steak was actually grilled well, but had a tendon throughout the entire steak, which greatly spoiled the enjoyment. This was not good quality for a BlackAngus and a larger string has no place. The lamb kebab skewer was slightly over-seasoned. Overall it was a disappointing meal. Two stars only because the service was really attentive and good. The person who was at ElMundo for the first time said she wouldn't eat there again. Conclusion: There was no reason to say I'll come back again. Therefore, this was my second and last visit to ElMundo.

Well, it was my first time at El Mundo and I was initially impressed by the size of the store. Personally I prefer something smaller and more intimate but nonetheless it was quite good. The service was very quick and attentive and the food came quite quickly with the small service robots. The quality of the food was very good so you can't complain.

It used to be a really good restaurant. But with every visit the quality improves and the prices rise more and more. For the same money you can get much more quality and taste in other stores than from this canteen kitchen. El Mundo is actually only good if you want or need to go out to eat with large groups and you can't agree on where to go. Cocktails are a disaster for the price and if you want to reorder something you have to use your hands and feet to get the service to come. Conclusion: emergency solution but never the first choice.

The portions are large, the food is tasty and the prices are reasonable. We were served quickly. The restaurant is very large and there are many seats. This appears to have once been a factory building. The ceilings are high, so it echoed and I found it a bit too loud.

So today we really had our worst visit with you. Starting with the waitress, who constantly bumped into my husband with her arm and at the neighboring table a gentleman once had to duck his head because she was carrying the plates so strangely. Then I was served a raw, really red salmon - it was exchanged without apology and without anything. So I waited forever for my plate again. It was my husband's birthday and he had to finish his meal alone. Then I was finally allowed to eat my new plate alone. We had to constantly ask, they didn't ask for drinks and we also had to ask for desserts. You can usually do better than that. At least because of the raw salmon I would have expected that I wouldn't be charged for an ice cream - the €2.90 doesn't make you poor and me rich (or vice versa). Of course we didn't say goodbye when there was no tip. I waited to see if the waitress would ask how it was - then I would have repeated everything that was written here, but she didn't ask and I didn't want to do it to my husband anymore either. It really wasn't a nice evening, togetherness was destroyed by eating alone.

Beautiful view, the world is at your feet

Wir hatten das große Glück oben zu sitzen. Leider dadurch keine Roboter, aber es ist deutlich ruhiger als unten. Das Essen war üppig und gut, wir hatten Pizza, Fleischpfanne und Pasta. In der Preisklasse würden wir es allerdings nur als mittelmäßig durchgehen lassen. Die Qualität bekommt man in anderen Restaurants deutlich günstiger. Da ist noch Luft nach oben. Zudem schwebt immer das Gefühl von Zeitdruck im Raum. Das macht es etwas ungemütlich. Kurzum, kann man hingehen, aber man sollte nicht zu viel erwarten.

El Muno has managed to transform an old hall into a festive hall. There is a huge selection of food for vegans too 🎉👍. The food is super tasty, comes to the table quickly and is really hot. The waiters are attentive, very friendly and in a good mood. See you soon.

I had the Thai beef pan. But I wasn't satisfied with that. A plate was delivered that consisted of three quarters rice and unfortunately I didn't look at the foreign language dictionary until after I had eaten. Who knows that edamame is soybeans. M.e. These have no place in the food and if they had been named that way in the menu, I would not have ordered the dish. Otherwise the meat was good, the atmosphere was ok and the service was nice. That's what the points are for.

We had dinner at El Mundo last night. What can I say.. table decoration!! €2.50 per person for a small Christmas tree and a few stars!! Cheeky!! Our meal was vegetarian, the girls had a dish with eggplant with rice, I had the vegetable curry with rice, first of all bruschetta and tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella. Both were ok!! My vegetable curry had no curry taste, it tasted like coconut milk. The vegetables were more than blanched, they were raw. Conclusion not tasty for me. The service is very attentive and friendly. That's why I give it 2 stars.

Please don't overrate the ambience with just three stars. At first you feel like you're in a big drinking hall. The great staff and the high-quality cuisine make this gastronomic gift a very nice experience.
