Rooms and location were very good, but breakfast was much better

Overall, in my opinion, it's not enough to give it more than 2 stars. Why? 1. The air conditioning (if you can call it that) is very loud, but doesn't provide much power. It was not possible to cool the room below 25 degrees. Why management doesn't take the numerous complaints about this seriously remains to be seen her secret. 2. The rooms are already very old. Sorry, but (a completely stained) carpet in combination with a dark wood interior may have been fashionable in the 90s, but has no place in a 4 star hotel these days. Two decades of renovation backlog urgently need to be addressed here. 3. The ravages of time are also taking its toll on the blackout curtains in the room; they also seem to me to be of significantly lower quality (and strength!) than in other hotels. 4. The rooms on the street side are quite loud, but that was at least to be expected given the location of the hotel and is neutral in the rating here. I would like to positively mention the staff at check-in.

Satisfactory for location and rate but poor cleanliness of the rooms: - Good: self check-in, luggage storage and self-shop inside utility, satisfying breakfast, comfortable and spacious rooms. - Bad: poor unsatisfactory room cleaning, missed daily cleaning, unhygienic old moquette carpet in the room and no slippers. Only 50 ml of water on arrival and not for every day seems ridiculous to me!

Room was very attractive. The mattress was incredibly good and everything was available at the breakfast buffet. The staff is friendly and helpful!! I would also like to mention that we were allowed to store our e-bikes in the garage for free!!

A professional team awaits guests - service is courteous and there is a small supermarket for any needs... Excellent coffee and very friendly and not at all intrusive service on site.

Rating 🌟🌟 The check-in process was smooth; however, they charge extra for early check-in, even if you’re just dropping off your luggage. One major inconvenience is that there’s no phone in the room to contact the reception — you have to physically go down every time you need assistance. I even had to go down at 1:30 AM one night to get the heater fixed. Housekeeping is only done once every two days, not daily, which might not suit everyone. On the positive side, the location is excellent, very close to Romberg, making it convenient for travelers.

Great value for money. Very well located, close to everything and next to the river. Spectacular breakfast. I don't like the layout of the shower, but other than that everything is great. Very friendly staff and willing to help. If I ever return to Mainhattan, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thanks for everything.

Incredibly attentive and nice employees. Rooms and house (except the lobby with breakfast room) are already very worn out. We had a junior suite on the 1st floor. The view was “amazing” - see pictures. The bedroom was directly above the entrance to the underground car park - which was probably woken up in the middle of the night by a gate or elevator. I also found the stripped-down room furnishings a bit strange. No phone, no notepads, no cotton pads, etc. It's probably to save money so that a low price can be guaranteed. Good location to reach everything on foot. City center with Zeil, Zoo, EZB or even Sachsenhausen is no problem from this location. Breakfast OK, but nothing extremely good and worth mentioning. Except the coffee, which tasted terrible. Parking spaces at the hotel are available for €26 per night or can be combined. You can go in and out as often as you want during that time. All in all OK - but now nothing that you absolutely need again.

Central location. Shopping Hauptwache / Zeil or simply a nice walk in the evening on the banks of the Main. Great location! Due to the furnishings, the room feels a bit larger. We had a room in the back yard, so it was very quiet and pleasant. Breakfast only leaves little to be desired (salmon or pancakes) but that wasn't a big deal. We would book here again at any time. If you wish, you can have a freshly prepared omelette or a latte machiatto. Top service! Friendly staff at reception and breakfast.

Very nice and clean hotel with super friendly employees. We only stayed here for one night but we felt very comfortable. There are enough parking spaces, both in the underground car park and outside, costing 30 euros per day. Our room was very clean and had the necessary amenities. The hotel is close to the center (approx. 10 minutes on foot), and a boat trip on the Main is approx. 5 minutes away. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. When we left we were given a bottle of water and coffee to take with us, which was very nice. Thank you. We will definitely come back when we are in Frankfurt.

2025/04/16 Five stars for counter staff Difficulty checking in for a group Thanks to the two young lobby counter staff (one boy and one girl) who checked in. They were very professional and patient in helping to solve the problem. They also provided various explanations and assistance attentively, which made people feel at ease.

We had a room Superior plus with skyview. We had to change our room twice,because the first time there was such a bad smell.The second room the AC was not working and we're sweating the whole night and had to open our windows and it was noizy.And the third room there were stains on the ceiling in the toilet and it smelled of urine. So i will not book again we have paid enough for 2 nights.

I prioritize cleanliness, a good neighborhood, breakfast, and gym facilities when choosing hotels. Flemings Hotel exceeded my expectations in all these areas and more. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome from the receptionists and buffet staff made me feel right at home. The buffet offered a diverse range of healthy options, alleviating my concerns about finding nutritious food while juggling a busy meeting schedule. I'd like to extend my sincere gratitude to Frans from reception, Kelly, Laura, Mark and Naira from the Restaurant and other staff members whose names I unfortunately can't recall for their exceptional service and genuine care. Frau Ingrid was also incredibly helpful in assisting me with my logistical needs. Without a doubt, I will choose Flemings Hotel again for my next visit.

We had stayed at this hotel a week ago and had an absolutely lovely experience. So much so..that we have booked another night stay on April 11th before going to the airport the following morning. I would like to thank a few specific staff members for making our stay extra special. I would like to thanks Franz who welcomed us immediately upon our arrival. He was so kind and polite. He made sure to say good morning to us every morning when we came downstairs which made us feel very welcomed and was very attentive to all of our requests/needs during our stay. I would also like to thank Erin (restaurant manager) who was an absolute delight to talk with and gave us some wonderful suggestions on our future travels to Munich and Prague. He also has a fantastic sense of humour which as a Canadian, I truly admired. Now, the best for last!!!! Tűlay (Bar Manager) is one of a kind. She was so excited to engage in a conversation with us and was genuinely excited to hear about where we are from and our stories. She also took the time when we asked her about sightseeing, what some areas of interest were and knew with buses or trains to get there. We ended up going to her home town where I had the opportunity to see my first castle the lovely history regarding the town. I would like to say that we made some history of our own there as my fiancé proposed to me last week in that town and we are officially engaged. This would have not been possible if not for the great conversations with Tűlay. When we got back to the hotel to let Tűlay about the great news.. she was overjoyed with excitement. Thank you Tűlay you will be apart of our memories for a life time. Also, thank you to Franz and Erin for being overjoyed about our engagement as well when we told them. It is situations,experiences and kindness from the staff at Fleming riverside this that makes the customer service a 10 out of 10. Our best experience of all the hotels we have visited in the countries we have travelled to thus far. Thank you.

The hotel has a good location, close to the city center, and offers self-service check-in. Didn’t had housekeeping ( they didn’t clean the room), I don't know if I should tell them. Breakfast for 28€ I didn’t book it. Parking also available for 26€ a day .

The hotel is located directly on the Main. Help is provided when checking in. The machines keep crashing every now and then, that's what happened to me. But there was an employee nearby to help out. The room is OK, the shower in the living room takes some getting used to. But everything works. There was no bottle of mineral water in the room, it would be free. There was a coffee machine, I hope it's on the house for two coffees. Parking space is available. You are immediately in the center and on the beautiful Main.

What kind of mess is going on here? When you arrive at around 9 p.m. it is 29.5 degrees in the room!! Same with colleagues. Despite opening the window, it's still 24 degrees at 1 a.m. and not a single eye is closed. I've never experienced anything like that. Service was friendly and they turned the controls around, but unfortunately it didn't happen. I travel a lot for business, but it's crazy. The house has seen me for the last time...

My fourth Flemings Hotel in Frankfurt am Main, and I felt very comfortable. I think it's more of a business hotel, the location is very good...over the bridge 500m and you're in Alt Sachsenhausen, along the Main it's a quick walk to the cathedral and the city center. A tram stop is opposite. The business rooms have a great view of the skyline. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and sufficient and the service is very nice... I would be happy to come back.👍

We were welcomed very nicely, the service was generally very good, especially the young black gentleman with the curls and Mr. Demuri were very helpful. The reception is open 24/7 and there are some snacks, drinks, etc. in the lobby. Bar + restaurant and good connections, with tram 18 you can reach the Zeil in 5 minutes. There is also free water. The next time we are in Frankfurt we will definitely come back here!!

My first visit to a hotel where I had to check in myself, took a bit of getting used to, I like personal contact and a greeting. Otherwise everything was great. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are made every other day, so don't be surprised if the bed isn't made, that's ok for me. See you next time

THE LOBBY WAS SMALL BUT VERY NEAT & CLEAN & NICELY DESIGNED WITH GOOD POSITIVE VIBES. CHECK IN IS SELF AS THERE IS NO MANNED RECEPTION BUT IT WENT SMOOTH & THEIR WAS A GUY FROM THE HOTEL PLACED TO HELP & MAKE IT HASLE FREE. ROOM WAS DESCENT IN SIZE & PRETTY CLEAN. DAILY HOUSEKEEPING IS ON REQUEST IF REQUESTED IS DONE SINCERELY. ONE THING I LIKED WAS THEY REPLANISH FRESH WATER BOTTLE AS COMPLIMENT, EVERY DAY (ONE THING YOU NORMALLY DON'T EXPERIENCE IN HOTELS IN EUROPE). First, I’m frequent traveler to Frankfurt sometimes twice a year. This is the 1st time for me in Flemings Hotel Riverside. Its very difficult to rate a hotel based on 1 night but to be clear I had negative feedback 1st from check in, the hotel was out of electricity for like 45 minutes & I’m surprised that they didn’t even offer any beverages during the waiting time. 2nd as I believe they have issue with the tap card system and I already reported to the receptionist, They changed my cart 3 times. Breakfast was average, I had my breakfast and no signal staff assist or asked If I need some. We stayed at this hotel for one night. We travel around a lot, but we have rarely experienced such friendly and warm employees. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend this hotel. We had a room facing the street and were surprised at how quiet it was. The breakfast was super delicious. The location is great and you can be in the city center in just a few minutes.

Rooms take a bit of getting used to because of the glass shower, but everything is clean. There are vegan options at breakfast. Fitness is available.

My stay was very good, I just didn’t like the room service knocking at my door repeatedly at 8:30 of my check out day to make up the room. Considering check out time is at 12:00 they could have waited for my departure. The room is nice and perfect for one person. for two people it lacks of privacy for the open bathroom. The room is pretty big to have the bathroom separated.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I visited Frankfurt for Christmas market from Japan. This hotel is located within walk from a main Christmas market platz(square) along the Main River, so I chose this hotel. My choice was perfect! However, it is a little hard to get from the airport or the central railway station to the hotel if you have a heavy suitcase. I was barely able to walk from the nearest S bahn station, but taxi from the central railway station is the best choice. My room was junior suit and it was so spacious, needless to say, but it was not so expensive. If you hope for a reasonable spacious room of a casual hotel in Frankfurt, this type of room at this hotel is so recommendable. Receptionists were so friendly, and restaurant staff was serving smoothly in the morning buffe venue.

- Unfortunately, the suite was really bad in terms of hygiene, despite cleaning (small and large spots everywhere, small, many(!) red/brown stains spread across the sofa, which could only be removed with a lot of effort, thick(!) layers of dust spread, strange hairs on the toilet seat). - Unfortunately, the sun visors in the room (attic) were also broken in midsummer and could not be opened. also not repair(?) and Unfortunately the blackout curtains also had stains :( (the "good thing": there was sun from morning to evening and was therefore very warm;)) - There is a large transmission tower on the roof. - A first aid kit or a disinfectant could not be found by the employee on night duty (?) + The view + some employees were very helpful, friendly and competent (thank you) In this case (suite room) the value for money was not right at all and I cannot recommend it.

A good hotel, modern on Lange Str. near the bridge to Sachsenhausen. The breakfast is very good and the service staff is attentive. My friends felt very comfortable in this hotel.

Good business hotel at a fair price The Flemings Hotel Riverside in Frankfurt is a solid business hotel that offers good value for money. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and courteous staff, who make your stay very pleasant. The parking space reservation worked smoothly, which is not a given in Frankfurt. The rooms are clean and functional. The breakfast buffet is varied and of high quality, ideal for a successful start to the day. An improvement would be real butter croissants. Overall, a recommended hotel for business travelers looking for a central location and good service.

Why “only” three stars? Service staff don't understand the meaning of the "do not disturb" sign and unfortunately there is no access zone for unloading for guests who don't necessarily want to pay over 100 euros in parking fees per week. Breakfast top, rooms excellent, fitness & sauna too. Still come back.

Mega great hotel. Staff jump in on her birthday and are very helpful. I have a deep car and the employee helped me with everything he had to get into the underground car park. The lady at the bar is super nice and enjoys her work. Gladly again just because of the great people.

Close to the city center and clean. The view of the skyline is impressive. The hotel is perfect for business trips and city trips. You are right at the Römer, and also across the Main in Sachsenhausen.

The staff and sauna were great, unfortunately I was unlucky with the location of the room facing the street 😅 otherwise satisfied 👌 For vegans: coffee with oats, almond or soy drink possible. There are also a few vegan sour creams available, but it's best to just ask.

No service evident as you have to do most of the things yourself (self check in... luggage storage with lockers...) It's particularly outrageous that €12 is charged for luggage storage... Thank you...never this hotel again!

The rooms are functional and clean. The employees are very friendly. The view of the Frankfurt skyline from the event room is particularly good. Breakfast is recommended. You should only enter the parking garage if you have a passenger who can help maneuver when exiting.

Recently stayed for five days and would absolutely stay again. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and that our needs were met. The day-time front desk manager and also the bartender from Turkey, who works in the evening, were awesome and made us feel more than welcome. The room was clean and big enough for what we needed, the location is great and near lots of cool things to see… I look forward to my next stay here.

Very nice room. The only disadvantage is that the shower is completely in the room and if you wake up early you can't take a shower without waking the other person. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is bombastic. Had a room on the 5th floor with a view of the skyline. Wonderful. I would love to come here again.

So far everything was fine. The free shower cubicle in the room takes some getting used to and is not to everyone's taste. Your staff is consistently very friendly. The entrance to the basement parking garage is almost too narrow. €26 even for FaM top category. Small shop, very good. Pizza offer at the bar very good idea.

Very nice and pleasant hotel. You can only pay cashless (you can decide for yourself whether that's a good thing or a bad thing) The staff was very very polite and attentive. The breakfast was more than sufficient and you could hide in quiet niches and have breakfast undisturbed. All in all a highly recommended hotel

We spent four lovely nights in August and October. Our departure in October left us forgetting a very dear article in the room. Zouheir Bounoua was contacted found the article and took it to the local post office! I received it yesterday, I live in Texas. Thank u so much Zouheir, you are the best!

Great hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, very attentive and helpful staff. (Adrianna, Anita , sorry but do not remember more names) All the staff actively contributed to making us feel very welcomed. Thank you, we will stay with you again.

Room unhygienic, floor not cleaned. Dust and dirty carpet. Daily cleaning was promised at check-in, but this was not carried out. Heating didn't work. Restaurant: good but very expensive for what it is. Example: Salmon with rosemary potatoes 29 EUR. Tastes OK, small portion. Sauce costs a few euros extra. Don't leave feeling good.

Great hotel, everything was great. What is extremely striking is the excellent and very attentive service at breakfast. We were thrilled.

We stayed there because my book was being presented at the Frankfurt Book Fair and my agent recommended your hotel. We arrived early - jetlagged and cranky. When we checked in Frans noticed a discrepency as it indicated that Expedia booked us for 2 rooms for 2 nights. I was annoyed - but Frans was kind, calmed me down spent the next 45 minutes on the Expedia app and solved the problem - give him a raise! Later that afternoon we came back to our room and found a lovely platter of treats and a note wishing me well at the bookfair! As we checked out I left a copy of my novel - hoping it will be placed on the bookshelf in the restaurant. And when my next novel is presented at the Fair, the Fleming Hotel will be my place to stay!

Two days there for further training, very well organized. The rooms were great. Toilet had its own small room. Shower was very cool. There was also a hairdryer and large towels. The TV was easy to use. The mattress was a bit too hard for me, but it was okay. The noise was ok, but fortunately I had a room that wasn't facing the street, so I could even sleep with the window open. Unfortunately, Frankfurt is noisy. Very nice staff and good food and lots of drinks to choose from. Toilets were very clean. All in all, gladly again.

I had the opportunity to spend one night at this hotel and overall I was very satisfied. 👍 The check-in process was modern and straightforward, with a member of staff available to help with any questions. The rooms were clean and modernly furnished, so we immediately felt comfortable. The breakfast was varied and served in a beautifully designed restaurant, which we liked. Great hotel on the Main for short trips and conferences. We were guests for four days including our own event. The first room was too small, too far away from the conference floor and too loud. The change worked immediately. Rooms facing the courtyard are quiet, you can hear a lot from the clinic on the street. Conference service is top. Breakfast is great. With a dog you stay in the front area. Views of the FFM skyline are possible from the upper floors. Parking is possible in the yard and in the TG (SUV drivers crank a lot here... It's sometimes a millimeter job) The next events and stays are being negotiated.

Great hotel for a weekend in Frankfurt. The city center is less than 10 minutes away on foot. If you're lucky, you'll find a parking space on the side street, which is free, at least on weekends.

The hotel is in a great location to reach everything in central Frankfurt on foot. Otherwise, tram directly in front of the hotel. The breakfast was great and the entire staff was very, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are sufficiently large. The washing facilities and glass shower in the room/room take some getting used to if you are not traveling with your own partner. The ability to use the sauna and gym for free is great.

I really liked the gym. I just didn't think the breakfast was varied enough and unfortunately the food from the hot counter was always lukewarm and then quickly cold. The cashless concept and easy check-in and check-out were very convenient. There is also luggage storage; you can simply store your suitcases in a locker there. The care products are extremely high quality and the shower is an absolute highlight.

Rooms: Spacious and well equipped. The shower is either in the living and sleeping area or directly in the room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning could not be adjusted or was out of order. The temperature in the room was initially 27 degrees, but fortunately it was reduced to 23 degrees by opening the windows. The windows faced the courtyard, which was quiet in itself, but turned into a noisy mess after 6am, making it impossible to sleep. It sounded like laundry, garbage and other carts were being pushed or thrown across the parking lot. The cause of this noise could not be determined exactly. Breakfast: Breakfast was OK but nothing special. The table was only cleared upon request. Many breakfast dishes no longer seemed fresh at 9 a.m. and were only partially replenished. The stay was pleasant, but overall nothing exceptional.

Top quality , central hotel at an affordable price in Frankfurt. We had 4 days at Flemings , the staff are all marvellous from Frans at reception to Kellie in the restuarant .There is a very good fitness suite in the basement with sauna & steamroom as well as an excellent rain shower.

As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed - despite self check-in. You immediately felt like you had arrived. The rooms were well equipped and had a great view of the skyline. The breakfast was great, varied and with a large selection. Everything was fresh, great selection of fruit and delicious egg dishes. A smoothie was even served. Plus extremely attentive service. The hotel itself is in a quiet location and you can reach the Main and the center in just a few minutes. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Frankfurt.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Of course, there were some shortcomings. For example, there is no mini fridge in the room. But I was pleased with both the location and the quietness of the hotel. If I come again, it is a place where I would want to stay without hesitation.

The rooms are tidy and of sufficient size. Here and there a cobweb was forgotten, but there are worse things. On the one hand the location is good because the hotel is right next to the train station, but on the other hand it is not a particularly nice area, to put it nicely. The service staff is very accommodating. The breakfast has a good selection and the prices at the bar in the evening are also reasonable.

The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the center. There is a tea and coffee set in the room. The bed, pillows etc. are comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful, that was the most important thing. Breakfast is fine. We had a noise problem with the next room at night, but the friend at the reception took care of it quickly. The only problem was parking. When I arrived in the evening, I could not find a place and had to park in the back street (if you find a place in the back streets, there are free places, but it is difficult to find a place). The parking fee is 26 Euros and I think it is too high for a hotel guest. Apart from this, the hotel services are quite good for the price.

The rooms are okay. Everything you need is there and it was clean. The sauna is delightful but sufficient. A loving lounge area. The location is wonderful. Highly recommended! The breakfast was really very good. What bothered me was the excessive urge to clear my table. While I was getting something new from the buffet, my full cup of tea and coffee was cleared away three times, even though I left my cutlery behind so that you could see that I wasn't finished yet. As a result, I hardly got to drink. But it was really tasty and versatile.

Sorry, but a hotel that only offers self-check-in and has not taken any data from the reservation is not a great customer experience. Instead of being warmly welcomed, you spend minutes typing in all your data, creating a room card and then looking for access to the rooms. I can really imagine the new 3 better. The hotel itself is okay so far. Clean and well located, and reasonably quiet if the room doesn't face the main street.

Modern hotel with unusual room layout. The shower is in the middle of the room - perhaps nice for couples, but perhaps a surprise for others. The breakfast is solid and meets German hotel standards, and there are also cakes and juice drinks.

Location was good, very convenient to get to the old town. Air conditioning was great. Beds were comfortable and breakfast being included was a perk though just okay. Hotel staff were extremely accommodating to help us book an extra night when it was needed. However our room lacked both a mini fridge and a direct phone to reception which was an inconvenience.

Flemings has an easily accessible location. The team is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortably furnished. We didn't eat there but the drinks were great and the barmaid was also very friendly and competent (I hope she gets paid accordingly 😉👍🏼). The breakfast selection was very large and nothing was missing. We felt very comfortable. But I'm deducting a star because the parking garage is very small and I had a hard time getting out with my small car. But these are things that cannot be changed.

No reception. Check-in is quick, easy and hassle-free on the computer. If you have any problems or questions, a hotel employee will be right next to you. Modern rooms. Nice view of the skyline. Well-equipped TV. Shower perfect for couples. There are rooms where the shower is completely open without privacy protection and rooms where the shower is equipped with a privacy curtain.
