We've had good experiences the last few years…but on our last visit, the pub didn't exactly welcome us, as it was completely overwhelmed by the high volume of customers on a Friday evening. The nachos are delicious and you meet lots of people, it's all very relaxed!

An Irish pub with traditional music and very attentive staff. Our small group only ordered drinks, but we weren't disappointed. Classics like Guinness were, of course, available. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to continue your evening!

It means it's open until midnight, but it was already closed at 11:20 PM.

Food good, beer expensive, ambiance worn, the OSB floor looks like a construction site. The toilet stinks like a train station restroom. At €5 per beer, a quick clean would be a must.

Anyone in the city center looking for an Irish atmosphere will find themselves in the right place at Flannigan's Post!

It's really nice, especially the pub quiz. However, the prices have gone up a lot... Almost €5 for a beer is steep, that's Munich prices in Augsburg (€5 is generally too much for a half-liter – at the Tegernsee Bräustüberl, a half-liter currently costs €3.30...). The same goes for the food. It's good, but I also think it's far too expensive for what you get. The price-performance ratio for both drinks and food is simply off. The rest is great, though, especially the atmosphere :)

We were looking forward to a nice Irish dinner – unfortunately, our expectations were largely disappointed. There were three Irish dishes on the menu. As a starter, we ordered the Irish stew for two, which unfortunately turned out to be a complete disaster. The dish had been cooked, frozen, and then reheated. That wouldn't normally be a problem, but reheated potatoes and carrots from the freezer are simply inedible. The taste had nothing to do with the Irish stew we know from Ireland. At around €15 for a main course, the value for money is completely unacceptable. The other two dishes – fish and chips and shepherd's pie – were also nothing special. Certainly not something we would return for. The restaurant itself was okay, however, the restrooms (ladies' room) were in very poor condition – a strong smell of urine and a loose toilet seat. In addition, the music from the speakers was much too loud, so we could hardly have a conversation at our table for two. . ... What truly stood out, however, was the service: attentive, courteous, and exceptionally friendly – ​​that was definitely the highlight of the evening. And the Guinness on tap. Conclusion: Unfortunately, not a place we would return to on our next stopover in Augsburg – perhaps a nice pub later in the evening, but not recommended for dining.

The food was absolutely delicious! The burger was perfectly prepared and super juicy. The Mexican dishes were also simply breathtaking…truly authentic and full of flavor. Truly a restaurant that I can only recommend. I'll definitely be back!

Great Irish pub that I enjoy visiting every now and then. I get a small deduction for the fish and chips, which aren't entirely convincing. But the staff and atmosphere are top-notch! :)

Irish pub with Mexican cuisine... not bad either... the Guinness was decent and the young team impeccable... there were pub quizzes in English...

Die Lokalität flannigans Post ist so lässig. Man fühlt sich einfach nur wohl dort. Es ist keines dieser anstrengenden "ach-so-trendy"-Lokale. Die Angestellten sind super aufmerksam aber nicht nervig. Essen und Getränke einwandfrei.

Bin nun das 5 Jahr in Folge dort und muss sagen, es ist alles wie immer. Coole Location nette Leute. Was man nicht vergessen darf ist das Tolle Team das sich darum Kümmert das das Leibliche wohl an erster Stelle steht. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp für alle Altersklassen. Das Essen ist absolut lecker und wird zu einem fairen Preis angeboten. Ich persönlich freue mich jetzt schon auf die nächsten 5 Tage im Mai 2026. Groses Lob an euch alle. Macht weiter so.

A visit is particularly worthwhile on Thursdays, as part of the pub is then transformed into a karaoke stage for everyone who enjoys singing - whether beginner or full-time professional. The atmosphere is simply great: lots of good-humored guests who celebrate, sing along and create a relaxed, sociable atmosphere. It was our first time there for karaoke and it was pretty busy. The service is friendly and attentive, even if it gets busier as time goes on. In addition to the great atmosphere, Flannigan's Post also impresses with a solid selection of drinks - from Guinness to cider to classic cocktails, there is something for everyone. We didn't eat there, just ordered a few nachos with dip. The dips were good, unfortunately the nachos didn't taste like anything. Conclusion: A great place for anyone who wants to spend an entertaining evening with friends. Whether you're singing karaoke or just watching and getting excited - it's guaranteed not to be boring at Flannigan's Post! The pub quiz is also worth a visit.

Reservation went smoothly. Waitress friendly but sometimes considerable waiting times. Food and drinks really okay. Prices clearly too high.

Actually everything is great! Had fish and chips and the fries were great! But the fish just wasn't a fish anymore. Daer was really slimy and tasteless. Maybe you should experiment with it some more 👍

We waited for 20 minutes and then a waiter came even though it was almost empty...

The mix of Irish and Mexican was a bit strange to me, but the beer was as I imagined it would be. Unfortunately, so did the food, because it had more of an American-Mexican flavor than actually Central American. The mixed platter to share came with a fried filo dough with spinach filling, chicken wings, a flour tortilla with rice and pork filling, a scalloped potato, salad and nachos. Anyone who has ever been to Mexico will be a little disappointed by the selection. For 2 beers and part of the plate you get €30 (12/24). But the service was super friendly and funny and took good care of us, despite the stressful and loud clientele. A reservation is definitely necessary, especially for larger groups, especially at weekends.

Like a real British pub. Very authentic. We liked it very much. The sanitary facilities need to be renovated again. Apart from that, we can only recommend Monday evening. Pub Quiz. There is everything that makes a British pub. But we also like to come here for lunch.

A good pub well located in the Center of Augsburg, close to the central station and Königsplatz.

My buddy - I'm not allowed to write, we were mistaken for a gay couple that evening - and I spent a rustic evening with a few Hop House 13s, excellent whiskey, and attentive, extremely friendly service. The atmosphere is very homely and friendly, which rubs off on the guests and staff. Or vice versa?

Absolutely great place!!! The people, the service, the pours. This is a great bar and restaurant. The fish and chips were great. Also, the music, good Americana. This is an all a round great bar. Ask for Brandon and his wife, they are amazing!!!

Ripped off ny waitress one of party ordered drink and left without telling anyone left €10 to pay for drinks he ordered waitress later on came to get paid for drinks which we knew nothing about she took 2 other drinks which had been paid for at bar tried to explain and gave her the €10 that had been left she tried to make out that it been left as tip crook if it was me would sack her on the spot don't go near it plenty of other bars won't be back

THE goto place in Augsburg. We visited from the states and return here every year. Friendly, fast, fantastic service, great people. You won't be disappointed!!

Today, after a year, another week here in Augsburg. Like last year, I have to say, I was happy to have eaten 4 days in a row again. Everything is as fantastic as the year before. 110% commitment, 110% good quality food for fair money. All in all. The hottest place in Augsburg. Big praise to the team.

Cozy pub with top staff and a very high level karaoke evening on Thursdays. Clearly, "just" a pub, but Flannigan's Post doesn't want anything more and, above all, it doesn't have to be. Unfortunately there is no gooseberry spritzer on offer. You have to drink beer... :)

Cozy Irish pub in a central location. If you want to have a few pints in a relaxed atmosphere with friends, it's a good choice. The food is typical pub - not bad, but not outstanding either. Had a Dublin Steak Sandwich and a Philly Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwich. Both sandwiches were ok, but there was something missing.

My favorite Irish pub in all of Augsburg, almost always full, especially with karaoke and pub quizzes and always a fantastic atmosphere.

Food was good, drinks too and several service staff were very friendly. Decor typical pub.

It's a shame that the VAT adjustment obviously leads to a reduction in portion sizes. e.g. half-full enchiladas with chicken. Then it would be better to have a moderate price increase.

Nice "Irish Pub" with Mexican influences. The waitresses were all very friendly. It was a bit too loud for me but overall I had a nice evening. Unfortunately, I found the BBQ basket a bit boring. But I also tried the other food at the table and they were all very tasty.
