Five Guys in Berlin

We had high expectations, having already experienced it in London, but unfortunately, the quality this time was very poor. We throw away 75 euros.

Surprisingly weak burger in a dingy place. I've seen it differently at Five Guys.

One of the best fast food burgers I've ever had, the shakes (bacon, peanut butter, banana, and salted caramel) are amazing. The fries are delicious too.

Good burger bad grilled cheese and stuff they said the cheese should be like this. Tasted like nothing

Frankly, I didn't like it at all. We ate it late. We ordered a cheeseburger and stated what we wanted to add to it, but in my opinion, the burger was cold, including the bread and the ingredients. It was a disappointment for me.

the potatoes were so oily and not really spiced. Only salt is what you taste. The hostess (cashier) wasn’t able to answer how big my fries are supposed to be. You can see how these people are overworked and hence maybe unfriendly, for sensitive people, the music is really loud. My fries where by the way thrown inside my bag, and the bag was so fatty. Not even inside the cup. I ordered a middle cup, they gave me a small one and the rest just thrown inside the bag. Very bad presentation. The veggie sandwich doesn’t have a sauce. Tastes bland.

It's the first branch I've ever had that didn't have ice for soft drinks, nor peanuts, and they don't even give you a cup to drink water... you have to buy it as if it were soft drinks...

You'll need to be prepared for some time – a burger and fries resulted in a wait of about 15 minutes for us. Unfortunately, some of the staff were unfriendly. It tasted delicious, but there are much better places for a decent burger. Everything is prepared fresh in front of your eyes, and the amount of fries is hard to beat.

Very rude treatment, you don't feel comfortable! Absolutely not recommended!

I'm actually a fan of Five Guys, but you should avoid that place. We only got a portion of the food the whole time, and then we stood around forever, and no one gave us the rest. When I finally had to leave and wanted at least my money back, I was given a strange lecture, and then it took forever to get the few bucks back. A really poorly run place.

The sandwich can’t be eaten in one piece. The toppings are too much in amount. The fries most of it are small pieces. The Coke Zero from machine was awful. The percentage of the ingredients wasn’t correct. Peanuts were good

Very pleasant service, everyone is friendly. We periodically come here and always have a very tasty meal. I am a connoisseur of cleanliness and tidiness, so for that too +. Everyone works in gloves and even the man with a beard, as it should be, had a protective mask on his beard. The last time I was with my girlfriend, she is pregnant and the guy who served us gave her a burger from himself, with the words "can I treat you with the baby?" it was very nice. Overall, the establishment is 10 out of 10 for service, food, speed, atmosphere, cleanliness, I recommend it to everyone

Unfortunately, I can't recommend the burgers; they definitely don't offer value for money. The food was cold, and the fries weren't crispy.

I've never eaten such bad burgers, even though they could be really good. It starts with the ordering, which is only possible via terminals. I couldn't find any sauce for the fries. They come in a small paper cup, and half of them are loose in a bag. Why is the food only served in bags? The worst part, though, are the burgers. Wrapped in aluminum foil, the bun is ice-cold (the description says it should be "lightly toasted"), but it is ice-cold, and then there's all this self-congratulation on the walls. In my opinion, even the big chains do it better. At least I'm wiser now and have one more experience under my belt.

The food was very good and delicious. However, the shouting of order numbers (I suggest an electronic board) is very annoying, and most of the time, you have to repeat the numbers because they're hard to understand, along with the extremely loud music. This makes the atmosphere unpleasant.

My daughters bag was stolen having iPhone and wallet, when we threatened that we will call the police, only then a worker there went inside and got the bag, but all the cash money was stolen 80€, be aware of the Mitarbeiterin and Mitarbeiter.

first of all, the smell was horrible, second of all, i ordered fries, they were scattered around the paper bag they werent even in the cups they were supposed to be. third of all i orded a cheeseburger AND IT SMELLED LIKE SWEATY SOCKS, i am not kidding, i literally DO NOT recommend and it was quite expensive. please AVOID THIS.

Recommended. Fries are the best there. Burgers taste good too. Unfortunately a lot of English. Guests: leave everything behind, don't clean up themselves and are incredibly overcrowded... creates an oppressive feeling.

It's nice that they're open late, so the servings of gamfries are huge, so you can just eat a small portion!

Super lovely staff - they were incredibly friendly and made my day. Today I had the BEST fries of my life. All the spices were on point, warm with perfect consistency, we decided it was like a warm hug from within. Really sweet encounter - thank you!🫶🏼

It's nice to see that the food is prepared right in front of the customers - it makes a fresh impression. The checkout staff were friendly and attentive. The store is rather small and can be a bit noisy, especially at peak times. A hamburger costs €10.95, not exactly cheap, but the price is justified given the good quality.

I ate there, there were only 3 terminals for the entire restaurant, it's too few and you have to wait too long during peak hours. I then ordered the few things that were offered on the menu and then waited a good 20 minutes for my order. The milkshake is frankly disappointing, the whipped cream is bad and the toppings are rare As for the fries they could have been good if they weren't filled with salt it was really too much I couldn't finish it just had the effect of making me thirsty And the burgers were obviously cold, the cheddar was barely tender and the bacon was way overcooked. To conclude, it is in idea a fast food like the others but in reality it does not reach the standards of other large chains which are better developed here (and the prices are also well above other fast foods: 40€ for a menu, a milkshake and a cheddar croc)

I definitely recommend it, but it's not worth it, you should definitely eat it. First of all, the potatoes are great, by the way, the peanuts are free.

The price is too high for the quality. Bacon had burnt taste. Burger wrapped in aluminum foil for immediate consumption. The environment is not technically up to date. Staff speaks little German. You have to bring your own food. Zero service. But price like a service restaurant. I won't visit Five Guys again.

Five Guys as we know and love it! Absolutely brilliant and fresh fast food. The Cajun fries are well seasoned, the burgers are juicy and delicious. The milkshakes are filled to the brim with all the extras you ordered.

I paid 17 € for a burger and a drink, already 4 € for a fanta it's huge and after the burger was good but really not worth 13.50 €

Ordered Hamburger and small fries. This is a pricy fast food spot, we spent 21€ for 1 hamburger and 1 small fries and 1 drink. The hamburger itself was not that good for the price, and to address more is the unfriendly staff. I got almost racist treatment, when I asked them for the toilet password, they told me “I saw you just entered here” implying I was not their customer which means I’m not “qualified” to use their toilet. Come on, I have been sitting inside and outside for 1h! Will not come again.

Their burgers and fries are delicious. You can buy as many peanuts as you want without paying any money. I recommend Popcorn Milk Shake, be sure to drink it. We easily found a place to sit in almost every branch. We expect it to expand to Türkiye as well.

I love Five Guys, for I order very often from this branch and they always are inconsistent with the fries size , if you order regular they send you little size , if you order large size they send you regular , and sometimes when you order large they send you so much more. It looks like sometimes as if is intentional in order to force you to always buy the large size.

It was a 4th time i took some friend here to eat and did not receive peanuts with the order, every time i hear from service that is finished... seriously every other country where i visit five guys there was never a problem like this, especially this is included in price of an order so im very disappointed ...

person doing the shakes was rude and unhelpful. made me wait while my burgers got cold. and was cheeky when i politely asked. The assistants in this franchise do not wear name tags. I wonder why?

Dine in or take out! Good place to kill your hunger. The part I liked the most was choosing between a bunch of different sodas.

I describe my visit to Five Guys as follows: 1. I order a burger without onions and some fries. 2. I wait about 20 minutes for my order. 3. I receive a burger with nothing on it except onions and a few burnt fries. Also worth mentioning was the unfriendly service and the high volume of the branch.

Very good shop in a central part of the city. The quality is the best you can find in a fast food chain when it comes to burgers. However, the prices are a bit steep, but it's worth the money.

Delicious burgers and friendly service We stayed at Five Guys on Alexanderplatz and had a thoroughly positive experience. The burgers were freshly prepared, juicy and tasted excellent. The fries were also crispy and served in a generous portion. The friendly service is particularly noteworthy. A forgotten request when ordering was made immediately and without any problems - really attentive and customer-oriented. Overall a very pleasant visit with delicious food and good service. We'd love to come back!

Terrible experience! The fries were extremely oversalted - I've never tasted anything like it. The bathroom situation was awful too. When I tried to get a bathroom code (after accidentally throwing away my receipt), I was yelled at by staff! Then after speaking to a manager and finally getting the code, another employee confronted me with attitude. Worst service I've experienced in Berlin. Won't be returning to any Five Guys locations after this. Avoid if you can!

Quick & Satisfying Lunch at Five Guys Five Guys is a great spot for a quick and casual lunch. The service was fast, and the food was fresh. We ordered a large fries, which was more than enough for two people—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way good fries should be. As for the burgers, they were decent but didn’t stand out much compared to other burger places. The flavors were good, but nothing particularly unique. The food is OK. But I expect the waitress to speak to me in German and not in English.

So I've tried everything to rate my experience here, but every time my rating isn't published. Unfortunately it is a fact that 7 burgers were served cold and by cold I don't mean announced but really cold like from the fridge. At a price of 12-13€ per burger, I expect more!

Never ever order veg grill with cheese or any add on’s!! It’s just horrible when they smudge the entire burger in the foil paper!!

Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures back then when I visited five guys for the first time in Berlin. However, it was an amazing experience for me when my wife invited me there as she was the experienced one, the burger and fries were amazing, and the drinks from the vending machine were amazing too. I wish to go back to Berlin to try different items from there as I am one of five guys fans.

Positive: the fries were delicious. Otherwise I don't have to go there anymore. Mass processing by low-wage workers. Food quality is like that and the packaging philosophy is forbidden. Suddenly people think of McD as the environmental saint.

The quality is good, the meat is fresh, and the fries are delicious – so far, so good. But the prices? A children's hamburger for 8.50 euros is really outrageous. A full menu costs almost 20 euros, and that's for self-service in a shop that's way too noisy. The music, the orders and the open kitchen create chaos that could easily be avoided - why aren't there order monitors like the competition? I don't understand the aluminum foil around the burgers either. Baking paper works the same way. Especially because all waste ultimately ends up in the same bin. Conclusion: The taste is great, but the price and atmosphere are a no-go for me. Too bad

Tasted horrible. The fries was disgusting, the burger was disgusting. I liked the milkshake. The restaurant smelled a lot. Service was great, loved how helpful they were when ordering.

I'm not a fan of this chain but it's what there was so I decided to have lunch here. The drink machine is like the ones at Universal Studios Orlando, or the Coca Cola stores. Modern, with a wide variety of drinks, self-service and with ice The place is good, it is clean and comfortable, the food is OK, they are not my favorite burgers but I must admit that they give you a lot of fries On the other hand, I don't like that the bread is so cold, and the cheese is not melted. I didn't like at all that they had upgraded my menu without my consent, and that when I left, the skate monkey was simply rolling NEXT TO ME, I wasn't using it and the lady who works decided to start challenging me IN GERMAN, knowing clearly I'm a tourist, I was there for half an hour consuming, AND ALSO rolling a NON-ELECTRIC skateboard is equivalent to ROLLING A BABY STROLLER. Calm down lady, I wasn't walking nor was I going fast, I was simply rolling next to me to GO. Besides that, WHAT A NEED to challenge myself when you see that I'M ALREADY LEAVING, really unnecessary and leaves you with a bad taste after eating a mediocre meal, at double the price of any other much richer fast food.

No soy fan de esta cadena pero es lo que habia asi que decidi almorzar aqui. La maquina de bebidas es como las de Universal studios Orlando, o los coca cola stores. Moderno, con gran variedad de bebidas, auto servicio y con hielo El lugar esta bien, es limpio y comodo, la comida esta OK, no son mis hamburguesas favoritas pero debo admitir que te dan muchisimas papas fritas Por otro lado, no me gusta que el pan este tan frio, y el queso no este derretido No me gusto nada que me hayan hecho un upgrade del menu sin mi consentimiento, y que al salir, simplemente iba rodando el mono patin AL LADO MIO, no lo estaba usando y la señora que trabaja se le ocurre empezar a retarme EN ALEMAN sabiendo claramente que soy turista, estuve alli media hora consumiendo, Y ADEMAS rodar un monopatin NO ELECTRICO es equivalente A RODAR UN COCHECITO DE BEBE. Calmese señora, no estaba andando ni estaba yendo rapido, simplemente lo rodaba al lado mio para IRME. Ademas eso, QUE NECESIDAD de retarme cuando ves que YA ME ESTOY YENDO, realmente innecesario y te deja con un mal sabor despues de comer una comida mediocre, al doble de precio de cualquier otro fastfood bastante mas rico.

I went to Five Guys for the first time today and I have to say I left full and satisfied 😎 I had a cheeseburger with fries and Coke. Total €21.50. It's significantly more expensive than Mecces or Burgerking, but it also has a completely different quality. This is really high-quality, freshly prepared food, which is also very filling. No empty calories like classic fast food. The cheeseburger itself was absolutely top. The fries were great too. But unfortunately far too much. I didn't touch the cup at all because the fries in the bag were already more than enough. So a clear recommendation.

Unnecessarily rude guy who works there. Went in to use the toilet only. I understand if it’s just for customers but that can be told calmly. 2 other people walked into the toilet without ordering and I was waiting behind for my turn. He comes up disgruntled and asks me where is my order. I tell him I’m not ordering I just want to use the toilet. And goes “no order no toilet get out” and walks on me as to push me out. I came in on Friday 16:45 if it helps to identify him in case a manager is reading this. Bearded/bulky guy. Suffice to say won’t be going to Five Guys for the times I do actually want to eat.

I have to say I find the food here very, very tasty and very, very generous. Burger King McDonald’s could learn a lesson here. It tastes really very tasty. Thank you for always being here

The food is good, especially the spicy fries, the burgers are more expensive than at Mces or BK, but also bigger. Strangely the condition is speaking English instead of German, I don't care but people who don't understand English will have a problem. Therefore 4 stars.

The store is really busy, but the employees are really friendly. I wonder how you maintain such kindness. The staff member taking the order asked if I wanted to add any toppings or sauce, so I asked them to leave it all out. I thought it would still contain the basic lettuce, but it wasn't. By mistake, I received a burger with only a bun and a patty. Even though it was soggy, I ate it quite well.

I wanted to check out the fast food there because I happened to be in the area and was also curious. But the smell in this shop is so pungent and terrible that I lost my appetite and didn't dare order anything there.

Best burgers in Berlin. Fries are crispy but soft on the inside and the burgers are delicious. Juicy, flavourful and just great. I recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger “all the way”. Five Guys really is goodness in a brown paper bag.

It's not as good or tasty as it is exaggerated. Also very expensive. There are boutique places that make great burgers for those prices.

It makes me feel like being in America again but it's way overpriced. Paying 17 euro for a burger, some fries and a drink is a lot, considering you are eating fastfood. Not sure if i would be willing to eat again there just to feel for a couple of minutes the American atmosphere.

Overcrowded, over expensive although excellent taste

The ambience of Alex is like being in a train station. Cold and uncomfortable, crowded and loud. You order your food at the counter, where hardly anyone speaks German. It is then prepared straight away and the burger is still lukewarm to cold... and that for the price! Never again...

I was curious about the chain, I tried it for the first time, it was not bad, but I found it expensive depending on the taste and service. You can buy drinks, fries and burgers for around 25€ per person. It's delicious, but I can't say it's incredibly delicious. Carbonated drinks are unlimited and have a wide variety of options. Peanuts are also unlimited but I won't go back for a long time, not worth the hype
