I tried ordering food from there twice within a week. The first time, about an hour after placing the order, I received a message that the food couldn't be delivered and the order had been canceled. The second time, the order was apparently officially "delivered," but nothing arrived—no one even rang the doorbell! The service was appalling, and the staff were incredibly rude. No wonder the chain is on the decline in Germany...

The fries were undercooked and very greasy. Some were almost on par with bad oven fries. The burger was okay, but simply not good enough for the price. The atmosphere here is unfortunately very unpleasant, as people are constantly being yelled at and asked to leave for using the restroom without ordering anything. So the Bonn slum lives on 😅

I was only there once; is it normal for the staff to speak English with the customers?

Best burgers for miles around. The ordering process is a bit tricky for newbies, but otherwise, 100 out of 100 points.

"The Fine Dining of Hamburgers" is the slogan on the wall of this cafeteria-style fast food restaurant. The hamburgers 🍔 are indisputably top-notch, all ingredients fresh and expertly prepared. The hot dog, on the other hand, looks less prepared than executed. The combination of sausage, bun, mayo, and the like is a feast for the eyes for slush experts. It doesn't matter, says the customer; taste triumphs over appearance, but unfortunately, the game doesn't work. I don't like it. In the end, you know why you're coming here: for burgers, not for the ambiance and hot dogs 🌭.

Best bacon burger in Bonn! The bacon burger here is simply a dream – juicy, perfectly grilled, and topped with crispy bacon. Super friendly service, fresh ingredients, crispy fries, and a clean, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended! I had to deduct one point for service. The mayonnaise was empty and wasn't refilled during my visit.

A solid burger! They get this slight browned crisp on the patties from the griddle. You can order exactly how you want it and the drink machine offers a massive variety of drinks with free refills.

When ordering through Uber Eats, ketchup was simply not included twice. The food tasted so-so. It arrived cold.

There's a sign in the restaurant claiming to be the best burger you've ever had...could be true. The fries were good, too. The "small" portion, though, isn't really that small.

It's not bad at all; it's a change from "other American chains." Drinks and sauces are available. The fries are very good. On the other hand, everything is way too expensive!!!!!

I am never let down by five guys. Always a good burger always a nice place. We got there early so only 1 person in staff but still made delicious burger as always. Big restaurant right next to the bonn train station

The food is a 1 out of 10... bread, two patties with onions that were too big, and not enough sauce on them, totally tasteless. I really don't recommend it! The first and last time we ate there.

Amazing. We had it delivered with Lieferando to our hotel and it was EXACTLY like it is in America. What a welcome treat! We use Lieferando all the time now!

Nice burgers, comfortable dining atmosphere. Feeling at home. Definitely worthy to visit again. However, the only thing confuses me is the Five Guys. During my stay, there were only two guys and one beautiful lady working in the restaurant. I always searched and waited for another three guys. Unfortunately, I did not meet them in person. I am not really sure if it is a true Five Guys. Five guys is quiet, subways always cry. Who has five guys, who becomes burgerking in minds. Anyway, when you have time, go to Five Guys.

The fries were good to very good. Service and ambiance were poor, to the point of "we don't feel like working." One member of the service staff was more concerned with preparing their OWN evening snack than with serving the paying customers. That's totally unacceptable... Once and never again. I'll pass.

Today we were at the Five Guys Bonn Hauptbahnhof with a guest. We are satisfied customers of the Five Guys Cologne Schildergasse, where we go frequently. However, I, or rather we, are appalled by our experience today in Bonn. The food—burgers and fries—were handed to us in bags, even though we wanted to eat comfortably in the restaurant. When I asked why the food wasn't served appetizingly and attractively, like in the Schildergasse branch, I was told they didn't have trays or metal baskets for the fries. This equipment was not available in this branch. Again, our food for three people was handed out jumbled together in a paper bag, with the fries flying all over the place in the bag. How embarrassing is that? This doesn't even happen at a drive-thru. Why doesn't this branch have standard Five Guys equipment? The staff made helpless attempts to explain, but honestly, this is really not good dining culture!!!

Good food and plenty of fries!! (medium size)

The atmosphere is okay. American and fast food, that is. But everything seems a bit cold and sterile. The staff was great! Friendly and fast! The food? A cheeseburger with a lot of stuff on it. The whole thing was somehow soggy and difficult to eat. In my opinion, the price is way too high. Throwing more fries in the bag as a psychological trick doesn't help either. I tried it once, but I won't go back.

Absolutely disappointing – not a recommendation! We wanted to try Five Guys and ordered a veggie toastie with fries and a drink. Unfortunately, it was a real disappointment. The toastie tasted of nothing but grease, was completely carelessly prepared, and had no sauce or fresh flavor. Honestly, my six-year-old daughter makes better toasties at home. The fries were also disappointing: totally greasy and soggy – far from crispy or tasty. And as if that weren't enough, the Coke wasn't even carbonated. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We had expected much more – especially given the prices. Now at least we know why the store is usually empty. What a shame!

Completely overpriced and very small burger

We didn't like the burgers at all and will never order them again!!! The highlight here are the fries; they're absolutely amazing. I would come back just for that. Other advantages (flat rate): - As many peanuts as you like - You can mix and match your drinks to your liking, with lots of options and refills as much as you like - As much ketchup and mayo as you like The burgers aren't great at all, but otherwise great 👌🏼 Very negative: - You have to wait far too long for the food - There are no displays/indicators where you can follow the preparation/time - Everything is relatively dirty, almost filthy (unhygienic) - Relatively loud

Personally, I don't like the ambiance at Five Guys. The food is okay, though. I think it stands out from other fast-food chains and convenience stores. It definitely takes some getting used to, though.

The store is nice and clean. The employees are friendly. We order to eat there and they don't have to give you a menu card. Also the food was in a bag like take away. When I asked them, they told me that they don't have plates to eat there. this was very not professional for a big company. the food was nice and tasty. Be more professional 😉

First they speak English, second I order strawberry milkshake but they give something completely different and unfriendly

American diner feeling near Bonn train station. You are greeted by a cheerful and well-coordinated team and you order from a real person instead of an ordering terminal, which I personally find very impersonal in other snack bars or restaurants. It takes about 10 minutes until everything is freshly served and ready to be picked up at the counter. However, I wouldn't need the aluminum foil packaging if I was eating it straight away and it represents unnecessary waste for me. The burgers are juicy, well stocked and more than fresh, thanks to the fact that they were prepared immediately after ordering. My personal highlight are the fries, as you can not only look at them but also taste the fact that fresh potatoes are used here. Drinks, mayonnaise and ketchup can be refilled at any time. However, you have to like the ambience, as it is relatively loud due to the open kitchen and the additional radio in the background. Unfortunately, my table still had leftovers from my predecessor. You can probably order the food you want in advance via the app and then simply pick it up on site, which I haven't tried yet.

If you like original American burgers, this is the place for you. I have eaten a lot of burgers in my life and I have to say that I have never eaten better anywhere in Germany. Yes, they have a price, but they are worth every penny. It is best to consume them directly on site when they are completely fresh. The fries are good too, but I usually stick to the burgers. The highlight for the children is always the drinks machine. You can try out the entire CocaCola range because there is free refill. We love Five Guys. Anyone who says the burgers are bad...in my opinion has no idea. ;) ...can really understand the bad reviews. Have been regular customers since it opened and have never been disappointed.

Advance payment fraud! We have on February 7th. Food pre-ordered and prepaid as usual. When we went to pick up the food there was a fire alarm and the food couldn't be prepared. So far, so through no fault of your own. Until then, bad luck but no problem. But of course we wanted our money back, after all the goods we ordered weren't available. And 5guys has kept the money for itself ever since. Neither emails to “management” nor personal visits (“I’ll write this on a post-it and we’ll take care of it”), as indicated, persuaded the 5 boys to contact us and refund the money. You can't hire a lawyer for 40 euros, but that would clearly be appropriate given the situation. We can only warn against paying in advance or pre-ordering online for collection. You definitely won't see the money again. Just like the 5guys do to us...

So I think 15/16 euros for a burger that's like a cheeseburger at Mecces is a bit steep, but it was tasty. Well, it could be bigger! Should be bigger.

I'll put it this way: I make better burgers at home, but unfortunately there aren't many places that do burgers like Five Guys. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a sloppy, greasy, but totally satisfying Five Guys burger. You can then cope with the 15 euros for a menu. The fries are very tasty and freshly made. You can always see a sign where the potatoes they are made from come from. They are always portioned very generously, which is why I can recommend the “Little” Fries even for those who eat a lot. You can also get peanuts for free, which I highly recommend. You can refill your drinks as often as you want from a big machine (as is common in America). I got a milkshake once. It's also delicious, but an absolute fat and sugar bomb. It is made less with milk and more with vanilla ice cream. Afterwards I thought I would be given an insulin injection. Smaller sizes would be cool. Some employees don't speak German very well and I worry about whether they are paid appropriately. I think it's a tough job. But they are nice. And the tables are always wiped down, which is extremely important to me personally. Points of criticism are: - The price. Once I went in and thought to myself: Poah, now 15 euros for food... that's too much for me. Then I went to Aldi next door and made myself a burger. The extra charge for two slices of processed cheese is also hard… (€2) - The buns are... yeah a bit "wrinkly" and are "steamed" by the hot ingredients when the burger is wrapped in aluminum foil, which you especially notice when you order the burgers home. - A matter of taste, but: the choice of sauces is rather classic (mustard, ketchup, mayo, BBQ, HP). It would be cool if Five Guys had their own awesome special burger sauce.

Typical Five Guys. Places were reasonably clean despite the location right next to the main station. Drinks machine was so mediocre, many types were empty. Burgers were good as always, but they took quite a long time to prepare. The staff was friendly, but communication was in English.

I ate here for the second time today. Since I didn't understand much of the concept here the first time, I thought I'd try it again with the knowledge I gained back then. Good: + The service at the ordering counter was friendly. + You can put together your own burger topping. + You can still see from the frieze that they were originally potatoes. Deduction in the B grade: unfortunately too salty. + Drinks are available with free refills, mayo and ketchup are also available free of charge from a dispenser. Not good: - The floor in the store is very sticky. It doesn't give the impression that it's cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis. The tables aren't particularly clean either. All in all, rather unappetizing. - The music is too loud for my taste. - Food is presented in a paper bag even if you eat on site. This also explains why the tables are so dirty, e.g. B. greases the fat from the fries that are partially loosely filled into the bag. I don't find it appealing to have to eat out of a bag when I'm at a restaurant, even a fast food restaurant. - The quality of the burgers is just mediocre. The prices quoted are overpriced. Conclusion: You can eat here if necessary, but there are plenty of better alternatives in downtown Bonn.

It's practically American Five Guys the way I remember it. Maybe a few less toppings here and there, but unlike the US they still have the free peanuts!! Unlike the US branches though, they don't offer free cups for water :( But the food is still great so I'd still heavily recommend the place.

Atmosphere and acoustics like in a commercial kitchen, notification to pick up the dish (order number is called into the room) not understandable due to the high noise level, dishes to be eaten on site are still wrapped in aluminum foil and served in a bag, relatively expensive. Also poor network (mobile data 'E', no WiFi). It was probably my first and last visit.

I don't understand the concept. The food is not even fast food standard, the selection is very limited, the branch in Bonn is not remotely comfortable and quite loud. Refilling drinks is nice, but it doesn't make the price-performance ratio any better - better food at better prices with sometimes nicer ambience is just a step away in every direction in Bonn.

We were there for the first and last time. For a self-service restaurant and the price, you can get a "juicy" burger with fresh salad elsewhere for only half the price. Or for the same price, but at least with nice service at the table. At Five Guys (Germany), two thin meat patties are placed on top of each other. In this way you can achieve a certain amount of meat and height, but the meat is so dry after preparation that there is hardly any taste. The burger bun is also very dry and could be better. Crisp fresh salad, none. The lettuce was already brown and mushy in places. The sauce was so thin and flowed straight out of the burger. The fries were good. You can always make up for drinks, but who wants to drink that much?! In a sustainable way for the environment, everything is spent in paper, which the aluminum foil wrapped around the burgers negates. Peanuts are free. Even the ambience can be bettered by others and you feel, for example, like in America, at a small rest stop in the 1950s style.

The staff is quick and friendly, hence 2 stars. Otherwise I don't think much of the store. Apart from the fact that I don't think wrapping burgers in aluminum foil is particularly modern, they come out completely muddied. In terms of taste, the whole thing is just average and can just about compete with Mc Donalds, Burger King and co. keep up. But the whole thing is significantly more expensive and is in the league of good small burger manufacturers in terms of price. The interior is as cozy as a slaughterhouse. Everything is tiled white with a few red accents. Overall, it's a shame, I was hoping for more.

If the bacon is forgotten, you don't get a new hot dog but a bowl of bacon and you can see how you get it on the hot dog

I ordered a hamburger, a hot dog and fries, and then it started: 1. The cashier spoke more English to me than German because she probably couldn't speak any more. 2. You can choose your own burger topping. Which isn't a bad idea at all, but the burger itself is so greasy that it's dripping and the meat wasn't even seasoned. 3. The food is served wrapped in foil in a brown paper bag, without a tablet and you get warm cola from the machine. 4. Loud American country music is playing, if you missed it you can have it. 5. There are newspaper clippings on the walls saying that this place sells the best burgers, which is simply not true. Anyone who wants to can come here, but I won't recommend it to anyone.

First the positive: very nice staff and a pretty neat and clean shop. The Oreo Milk Shake was extremely tasty, with lots of Oreo pieces, but expensive. The fries were fresh. But what I don't think works at all is the hot dog or bacon dog. A sticky roll, a sausage that was cut open long ago and, I assume, warmed up in the deep fryer. The bacon was really hard and hard to enjoy. The toppings were spread very thinly. Unfortunately, I threw away some of the hot dog because I just didn't like it. Then I think it's a bit steep to pay around 8 euros for this little hot dog. I had dinner at 5 Guys for the first time today and I probably won't repeat my visit. Too bad.

The store is very neat and tidy. The staff was super friendly. You can refill drinks at any time, as well as mayonaise and ketchup. The food was okay, fries were tasty, the "veggie sandwich" is not recommended. Similar to a cold burger with a few mushrooms instead of patty. For the price it's just an absolute disgrace.

I ordered yesterday. The burgers were expensive as always but tasty. But what are these terrible milkshakes? I ordered mango and banana. I was delivered a sugar paste that tasted neither like mango nor banana. Unfortunately, 400 ml for 6.79 is not justified.

I was really excited to try their hamburger, but unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. The size was decent, but the patty was dry and lacked the juiciness and tenderness I was hoping for. Not quite the experience I expected from Five Guys.

Burgers were tasty, but also quite high priced. Unfortunately, fries were totally over salted. The fact that you now need the code from your bill for the women's toilet is somehow a bit annoying.

I got a burger at Bonn HBF recently. It tasted more or less the same as ones in North America so…8/10

Expensive but burgers, Cajun fries & milkshakes are just good

Went there for the first time today, an hour before closing time. The cheeseburger is not appropriate for the price in terms of size and unfortunately (as with other chains) the patty is mediocre, but at least I liked it, which puts it ahead of 80% of McDonalds or Burger King. It was strange to be alone in the store at a main station at 10 o'clock in the evening.

Medium disaster for €17.90 (small burger, small fries, small beer). Then rather McD.

It was my first time eating at Five Guys and it did not meet the expectations that my acquaintances had created for me. The prices are reasonable (taking into account that it is a fast food chain and we are in Germany), but the presentation, flavor and offering border on just passing. The vegetarian sandwich is actually a burger with the meat removed and mushrooms added. The Cajun potatoes were nothing like any seasoned potatoes I had ever tasted, and they were quite soft, as if they had been cooked for quite some time. The soda machine did not have any sugar-free or caffeine-free soft drinks.

The food is ok but not really worth it for the price. It's a lot of food though and it's possible to be nauseous.

I think the prices are a bit too high for what you get. The food was OK. You just have to remember that you pay around 20 euros for a meal (hamburger, drink, fries).
