A great snack bar with a variety of fresh fish dishes. The oasis plate is great value for money, and there's plenty of fish on the plate. There are also non-fish dishes. There are covered and outdoor seating options.

All hot fish dishes are freshly prepared! The portions are generous, and the baked fish is sensational! The baked fish with a roll and remoulade, with a side of coleslaw, is more than filling for the price! Be sure to bring some time!

The charming little town of Ueckermünde on the Szczecin Lagoon offers—you wouldn't believe it—ample and free parking right at the harbor (parking lot by the open-air theater). Where else can you find something like that? And while you're by the water, a hearty fish snack bar is a must. Right next to the Hotel PommernYacht at the harbor, the Fischoase awaits with a wide selection of fish snacks. If you don't ask, you'll be left with nothing, because the wide range of dishes isn't immediately apparent. So you ask nicely and get some helpful information. So, one Saturday evening, we enjoyed a delicious oasis plate with three kinds of fish, fried potatoes, and scrambled eggs with crab (well, they're small glass shrimp) with a roll at the Fischoase. We didn't have to wait long for our buzzer to ring, and for a snack, it tasted good. Definitely recommended for a quick snack or a quick thirst quench, especially since you can enjoy watching the boats.

It's a fast-food restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly, but there's little time. You can eat there under a gazebo or in front of the gazebo under an awning. The food is highly recommended. The fish is always fresh and tasty. We especially like the fried fish (a great piece of fish, trimmed and fried by hand). Truly delicious.

Only conditionally recommended. The question about fish soup was answered with, "I should be able to cook that." That says it all. The fish and chips were just convenience food. Fried for too long and therefore much too dry. It's gone way down compared to three years ago. You can also see that in the old pictures; the dishes looked better back then.

We've eaten at your restaurant at least once on every vacation so far. Yesterday, however, because of the "Haff Days," we had to pay a €60 entrance fee for our group just to be allowed in. I have no idea if that's what the creator intended.

Impossible shop. Deep-fried food is one thing, and sometimes you like that, but to gossip about the customers so stupidly that they can hear it... Horrible people. No sense of normal behavior whatsoever. It's like the worst neighborhood bar. Stay away.

The fish sandwich was satisfactory. A deduction for not accepting card payments is already beyond the pale, and the sandwich is terrible.

Fish platter, I've never experienced anything like it before, everything from a can or jar, nothing fresh 🤮 and for that 26.90 euros, they're crazy, never again unfriendly and don't listen at all, because I'm allergic to lemon I got lemon anyway... never used to anything better

They didn't listen to your order; instead of fried fish in a roll without remolad, you got fish on your plate with remolad. They were rude when you said you hadn't ordered it and said, "Well, that's just how it is." On top of that, you didn't feel well after eating fish (nausea and vomiting). Children weren't served even though it was their turn. The staff told the child, "You can wait a minute!" The lady's tone was unacceptable. I won't eat there again with my family, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

The best fish in Ueckermünde if service and a fancy restaurant aren't important to you. A big recommendation is the fried fish – really well breaded, much better than the nearby competition (and I've tried them all...). Nice atmosphere outside on the simple wooden benches. Seagulls don't attack (as of summer 2025), but they do like to laugh.

Disappointing and disrespectful – never again Fischoase We went to Fischoase in Ueckermünde on May 19, 2025, late in the afternoon around 5:10 p.m. to get something to eat. According to the opening hours, the snack bar was supposed to be open until 6 p.m. – but in fact, the team was already busy cleaning everything, so they were apparently already "calling it a night." Despite our friendly greeting, we were completely ignored. Only when we asked about it did we receive a curt and unfriendly reply that there was no more food due to an alleged "technical defect." Our reference to the opening hours was ignored, and we were simply left standing there. Particularly disappointing: As we were leaving, two more people arrived, whereupon an employee shouted, "They'll probably want to buy something too," and the entire team burst out laughing. This behavior was not only unprofessional, but also disrespectful. We felt truly insulted – hungry, disappointed, and not taken seriously as human beings. Were there on May 4, 2025 and never again. The sparrows are very fond of animals and can get the fried potatoes directly from the pan. We've always been happy with the store but when we saw it, we're sorry, we'll go somewhere else in the future.

Bar with Fishbrötchen and more. We ordered matjas in a roll. And it's a real matjas, not a'la as it happens in Poland. Delicious, pink, appropriately fatty. A delicious snack. Quite a lot of space inside and outside. But the decor is rather bar-like. The toilet is opposite the bar next door. The atmosphere is great, boats and yachts moor right next to it. Prices ok. Matjas, if I remember, 4.50 euros, regional beer around 3 euros for 0.5. Anyway, 2 x Fishbrötchen and two beers cost around 14 euros. I will definitely come back.

The food is good and sufficient. It's easy to get there on foot when you're at the harbor and there's plenty of space to eat.

Today we had fried fish from the fish oasis again. Freshly prepared and super tasty, it was a delight. 😋

Locally a bit dingy on the outside. Map confusing. Prices not appropriate for the quality. Service was very taciturn and even unfriendly. One of the two people also barely spoke German. Even for a herring roll you had to wait almost 10 minutes. Now to the highlight - the food: Fries: crispy and well seasoned. Matjes roll: Edible, two matjes, a lettuce leaf and a bit of fresh onion, but without sauce in the usual cheap roll. Baked fish: Dripping with fat, in the thinner parts fish could no longer be distinguished from breading because it was so overcooked. The rest was dry and tasteless (except for a subtle fried chicken aroma). Some bones are still present. Fried potatoes: Dripping with fat, wobbly, not quite cooked through on the inside and quite tasteless apart from the taste of fat and a slightly sour note. Basically inedible. Fried fish with roll: The mentioned fried fish with the mentioned cheap roll, which wasn't even cut open without salad or other "gimmicks". The whole thing was served carelessly on plates that were too small, simply slapped on top of each other. I don't think it needs to be answered whether I would recommend the store.

We stopped here with our bikes. The restaurant is beautifully located at the harbor. We ordered matjes with fried potatoes and cycled on, full and satisfied.

It used to be Rosi's oasis... and better. Offers are presented in a confusing manner and are largely reduced to snack bar level. However, there are still some fish dishes and the price/performance level is okay. I don't understand why we have to save money on cheap fried potatoes. My pike perch fillet was decent.

It's not just the fried fish that's amazing. Everything has tasted good so far.

Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try the food. Since there were 5 of us there and after ordering we were told that payment was only possible in cash. There was no sign anywhere and then they became very unfriendly. Hätzrn can ask questions beforehand?! Especially the man (probably the owner). Doesn't work at all. But after reading some reviews, I'm happy about it. Our children were then able to satisfy our hunger in a nicer environment. Really a shame for this location.

To get something like fried fish covered in breading so dry... The fish died at least twice. The fried potatoes were warm and filling - otherwise not a good interpretation of the theme. even if it’s a snack…. Tables can be wiped down with a damp cloth from time to time and do not have to stick... All in all: the best thing about the store is the location…. A pity!

I can only agree with the other 1-star reviews. Not only is the snack bar dingy, but the male employee's T-shirt is so dirty and full of stains that it can only be described as disgusting. Definitely been there for the last time.

Very disappointing. They had the best fried fish in the region. However, today we were disappointed again. The fish was dry, the breading was too dark and not tasty. Also lots of bones. The fried potatoes were soggy and dripping with oil. Very unfortunate! Can it happen? Yes, but it wasn't the first time that I was no longer convinced by the quality and the price-performance ratio.

Fish and potatoes from a prefabricated envelope, nothing to do with the Andalusian and Spanish cheap ones. Mediocre quality, average price for this country. It's actually fast food but bad. If you are very hungry, go ahead and the food is worth it. Greetings.

The food was mediocre snack quality. For the price it was just okay. However, the staff was terrible. I have rarely experienced something so unfriendly. It's actually a shame given the great location.

Hello Ate there for the third time today The first time was very good, the second time today the fried fish was also good, only the match herring was bitter and the cherry on top was the staff smoked behind us in the dining room. I don't think there will be a fourth time

Ordered fish & chips and received fish & chips. Not the same. My husband's fried fish was just sticky, had bones and there was hardly any fish in it. A pity. The quality has deteriorated a lot. In fact, it was the last time we ate there

Zuviel Matjes im Brötchen, wird dann zu salzig und matschig. Zwiebeln könnten zwiebliger sein. Das Salatblatt lässt dann alles noch so etwas erdig schmecken. Pommes waren super.

Immer wieder kommt ich gerne her . Schon vor 20 Jahren sind wir immer nach der Dampferfahrt zum Essen ran gekommen . Weiter so !

Letztes Mal (Mai 2022) waren wir sehr zufrieden, dieses Mal war es sehr enttäuschend!!! Schade, wir hatten uns schon darauf gefreut. Das Gute zuerst: Remoulade super, Backfisch und Pommes knusprig. Und nun der nicht so erfreuliche Rest: Backfischportion klein, Remoulade erst auf Nachfrage, Bratkartoffeln matschig-zäh, fettig und mit Beigeschmack. Schnitzel ziemlich sicher ein Convience-Produkt mit fieser Industriepanade, zu salzig und mit strengem Geschmack. Und dafür fand ich es definitiv zu teuer...

Personal hat keine Ahnung von Allergien. Gehen rauchen und keine Hände waschen! Bratkartoffeln pampig und weich. Fischbrötchen waren okay. Ambiente ist nett aber trügt. Deswegen 2 Sterne.
