Delicious food in a chill atmosphere. Fast and polite service.

Unfortunately, the food is very dependent on the day. But basically good. I don't think the two red sauces for the fish are homemade. Remoulade is great! Service one star because all the employees are constantly on the phone... that's really very noticeable and not appropriate in the catering industry. The ambience also suffers from this. It's a shame, they can definitely do better.

Fish & Chips (small portion) were great and really enough.

The staff were friendly, the food was ready quickly and the portion of fish and chips was really big. Unfortunately it really didn't taste good. Everything was fried in old oil and only tasted like fat. The fries weren't salted enough, but the fish was oversalted. The fish was also very watery on the inside (even though it was so well fried). Too bad!

Visiting this market and during lunch time, I decided to eat here attracted by the name... luckily I wasn't wrong. I ordered a really good and plentiful crunchy fish burger, with a side of potatoes. The sandwich is large, therefore sufficient for a complete lunch. The menu offers a wide choice of fried fish. Advised.

Nice place in an indoor market. Been coming for a few years. Prices are a little high now for fish and chips and the quality for me is average. Batter was too thick and my fish a little overcooked Still not much alternative in Berlin if you want fish and chips

Delicious Tuna Burger and Fish and Chips! Staff was super friendly and service was fast. Portions were large, the photos do not do a good job of showing how good everything was.

We had a wonderful morning, with great food and great service - Germán in particular provided us with Prosecco with ease and in a good mood.

Best fish and chips in the city

I love this place so much that I go there at least once during each of my visits to Berlin. The Fish & Chips of this place are a reference. The Aminiusmarkt where this "stand" is located is a magnificent Berlin market where you can find all kinds of gastronomic offerings and is one of those places off the beaten track to discover during a stay in Berlin

Von Service, Preis bis hin zur Fisch Qualität ist das absolute Luxusklasse. Die Fish n Chips gibt es bessere in berlin aber die fischplatte für 2 und die boulabaisse Suppe waren hervorragend. Der Salat war frisch, super Dressing. Fisch war frisch und es wurde nicht gespart am Fisch. Wir kommen wieder! Nächste mal Fischsuppe und fischplatte!

Nie wieder Fischladen!!! (Änderungen Siehe unten!) Schrecklich wie hier Gäste behandelt werden. Wurde heute (09.04.2022) beim Essen mit einem Freund von einem Junkie beim Essen belästigt und habe darum gebeten, dass vom Servicepersonal jemand zu Hilfe kommt oder die Polizei ruft. Hilfe-Fehlanzeige! Ich musste mich selbst darum kümmern. Der Restaurantleiter wollte uns noch erzählen, dass er als Pächter kein Hausrecht habe, was natürlich nicht stimmt. Der Gipfel war, dass dieser Junkie sogar Hausverbot in der Markthalle hat, aber wie gesagt niemand etwas unternommen hat. Schlußendlich war das Essen und der Tag versaut. Man bezahlt ja im Restaurant auch für das Ambiente und dafür war keinesfalls gesorgt, ganz im Gegenteil. Nach mehreren Diskussionen mit der Kellnerin und mit dem Restaurantleiter kam auch noch der Betreiber. Da wir zumindest ein Entgegenkommen bei der Rechnung von ihm verlangt hatten, bot er uns sofort an die Polizei zu rufen oder wir nehmen 2 Kaffee und gut. Lächerlich!!! Denn bei der Belästigung war keiner willens selbst einzugreifen oder die Polizei zu rufen aber wenn ein Stammgast(seit 9 Jahren) einen Schadensersatz verlangt dann wird sofort mit der Polizei gedroht. Änderung bzw. Anmerkung: (06.11.23) Zunächst bitte ich um Entschuldigung, dass der Kommentar erst jetzt durchgekommen ist, denn der Vorfall hat sich, am 09.04.2022, ereignet. Das hatte ich bei meiner Änderung hinzugefügt. Offenbar ist beim erneuten Upload ein Fehler aufgetreten. Jedenfalls ist dies tatsächlich so geschehen, dafür gibt es auch mehrere Zeugen. Ihrer bisherigen Antwort auf meine Bewertung muss ich allerdings entnehmen, dass Sie Ihre Einstellung kaum geändert zu haben scheinen. Auch wenn ich die Markthalle noch sehr oft besuche, die Forelle Müllerin, den Duellteller und den Brunch sehr mochte, lasse ich seit dem Ihre Geschäfte links liegen.

Super leckeres Essen und ein spitzen Service von den drei Servicekräften. Susi war der Knaller. Die 3 alle Name mit S. beginnend haben einen super guten Job abgeliefert. Spitze zum Fischladen gehört auch der Italiener und dort haben wir fürstlich gespeist.

Süsskartoffelpommes leider nicht kross, und Fish mehr Panade als Fisch. Veganes Schnitzel praktisch nicht genießbar. Bedienung sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Bier sehr lecker

Die Markthalle bietet ein ungewöhnliches Ambiente, das aber sehr gut zur Gastronomie passt. Der "Fischladen" ist direkt am Hauptgang gelegen und bietet ein exzellentes Angebot nicht nur an Fischgerichten an. Auch die Getränkekarte kann sich sehen lassen. Ich wählte die klassische Version Fish & Chips in Unkenntnis der Menge in der großen Ausführung für 16,50 € und musste zum Schluss aufgeben, weil die Portion richtig satt machte. Der Fisch (Wels) war saftig und in knusprigen Backteig absolut lecker. Auch die Chips, handgeschnitten und frisch kamen gut an. Es war den Preis absolut wert zumal der Service toll ist. Empfehlenswert auch um "Leute zu schauen".

Have been there with friends and while we had a nice evening food was a bit of a bummer. First we ordered salmon, 15 minutes later we were told they run out of salmon. Adjusted to Kabeljau, same game. Re-adjusted to Rotbarsch - which came im bread crumbs though we had said that this should not be done given severe intolerance of a friend and it was confirmed that there won't be any gluten. Pasta with fish was an amazing portion but my friend said if it be a third the size and therefore had any spices in it she'd be happier ... So food wise I had better experiences but as always - could just have been a bad day!

Nettes Lokal, bemühte Kollegen. Leider waren uns sowohl gebratener Fisch, als die Fisch Chips extrem fettig (mit einem komischen Beigeschmack des Fettes), und sehr salzig. Die Würzen können dafür gerne stärker sein. Fazit - gutes Lokal, mit Luft nach oben

Wir waren zum Samstagsbrunch in der Markthalle. Alle Personen waren sehr freundlich, vor allem der Herr, der uns immer wieder Prosecco nachgeschenkt hat. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an allen möglichen Speisen, inklusive viele vegetarische Optionen. Immer wieder gerne!

The fish and chips was so good that I wanted to marry with the fish and have little mermaid children with it. It was fried to perfection, and yet not oily at all, crispy on the outside but still juicy inside, and the batter was perfectly seasoned. Go for original catfish fish and chips. Oysters were also delicious and super fresh.

Wir waren kürzlich als Gruppe (10 Personen) in der Markthalle und wurden super lieb von Aslam bedient. Obwohl wir eine große unangekündigte Gruppe waren, haben wir unser Essen zeitgleich bekommen und konnten sogar aus verschiedenen Ständen auswählen. Das Essen hat uns allen geschmeckt und wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

Kellner Aslan war mit spitzenmäßigem Service immer für die Gäste da. Und die Köche Marjo und Sadiq haben in ihrer Küche gezaubert, superleckere Pizza Mista 😋

Edit: We went back a second time and ordered the fish platter for two. Everything tasted fresh and the ingredients were well balanced. The picture does not do any justice to the size of the plate, think wagon wheel. We also had the oysters + Chablis combo and a small bowl of Bouillabaise. A real treat! Original review: Amazing little place with a clean and excellent menu. We had lunch at the Fischladen today; the Wiener Schnitzel and the VIP style fish. The Schnitzel and accompanying warm potato salad were really good, yet the fried fish absolutely stole the show! I was making yummy noises all through eating it. Our waiter Aslam was an incredible delight, attentive and warm without being overbearing, making our stay a pleasure.

Hier kann man wunderbar frischen Fisch zu sehr moderaten Preisen essen! Koch Sadiq zaubert immer wieder aufs Neue leckere Fischvariationen, die besonders durch ihre Frische bestechen. Und unser Kellner Aslam bemüht sich um jeden einzelnen Gast mit besonderer Herzlichkeit. Alle besonderen Wünsche werden berücksichtigt und soweit möglich erfüllt. Wir sind Stammgäste im Fischladen und gehen immer wieder sehrgern dorthin wegen unsere Liblingskoch Sediq !!! Er macht wunderbare Gerichte, besonders gut sind Spagetti Frute di Mare Spagetti Lacks Und auch andere Köstlichkeiten, was er macht !!! Die Bedienung ist immer sehr nett und freundlich, speziell Assam und eine hübsche Deutsch und Russischsprachige Junge Frau!

Hmmm fein, Sadiq ist ein sehr guter Koch! Gut gewürzt und fein abgeschmeckt sind die Speisen, und die Schupfnudeln ein Gedicht. Aslam bringt Sie mir mit einem schönen Lächeln und fragt den Koch schon mal wann es diese wieder gibt. Nur schade, dass Susi und Lisa so selten noch bedienen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

I thought this little shop within the Markethalle Arminius was fantastic! The grilled scallop spoons with seaweed salad were very tasty. The raw oysters were fresh and delicious, but could have stood better with a French mignonette or a bit of pepper sauce. The fish soup was rich and fragrant. My server Astam was a true gentleman. I watched the cook Sadaq execute all the grilled fish preparations with skill and accuracy. Nice people! Fun atmosphere!
