I wanted to get something to eat at the snack bar two weeks ago. The only parking option is in the parking lot in front of the car (the snack bar is on a main street). Unfortunately, the owner and his employee started yelling at me that I wasn't allowed to park here. I tried several times to say that's why I'm standing here, unfortunately it was impossible to speak against the wall of ignorance. Then I moved away. Too bad. Go somewhere else!

Don't understand the good reviews here...Kibbeling didn't taste good at all and "Dutch fries" definitely look and taste different. Both probably bad finished products. This has nothing to do with Dutch enjoyment. The price for the small quantities of fish and chips is also very high.

The kibbelings are nice and crispy. Fries and sauces still have potential.

The fried fish was super tasty. And a fresh roll from the bakery. The party was also great. The price is good and cheaper than competitors. Full 5 stars. We go here more often. Today we went to Kibbeling again and everything was still great. We can happily recommend this.

The food/snacks on offer are very tasty and plentiful. The store, more commonly called a sales van, makes a very well-kept impression and there are plenty of seating options. Unfortunately, I had to wait almost 1/2 hour for my food due to a high number of customers, and this snack bar has its stand on a busy street. Would love to come back for dinner, but not for the long wait...m

The food is very tasty and always freshly made. The service is friendly and you can eat outside at bar tables or in the tent.

It's a fish snack bar on wheels that's in a parking lot, they have it there et al. Baked fish, kibbeling, fries and sauces, open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is also seating in a tent to eat the food; the vendors are very friendly.

Very tasty, portions are plenty and prices are absolutely okay. Recommended for a quick snack. Staff is very friendly.

Went here today after the flea market because my son had a big appetite for Kibbeling recently. We were pleasantly surprised. Crispy fish and chips to the point. You eat at the bar table outside or at the beer tables in the beer tent, but it doesn't do anything. It would be unfair to rate the ambience here. 9 euros for the portion with sauce, mayo or ketchup is okay. The two behind the counter are super nice and stress-resistant. Next time I'll try the fried fish, it looks really tasty too.

If you're in the area on Sunday and have some fun AND like kibbelinge or matjes, you should stop by there. We discovered it by chance many months ago during a hike and have now been there again. Very friendly owners and delicious food. In the cold season you can eat well/protected in the tent/pavilion next to it. As always subjective, but I really liked it 😃

The food was great. The service was very nice. Even though it was only 5 minutes until closing time, we and several others were served kindly and patiently and were allowed to finish our meal in peace. The ambience.... Well, it's a fish stall in a parking lot but there is a tent with beer tent sets that you can definitely eat in a dry place and protected from the wind.

The food (fish, crabs, kibbeling) was all very tasty. We've been there many times and it's always been good. The only thing that is annoying is the sometimes very long waiting times. Last time it was half an hour. Nevertheless, we'll go back.👍😊

Backfisch und Kartoffelsalat waren sehr lecker. Beim nächsten Mal wir mehr probiert. Matjes und andere Spezialitäten gibt es hier für den Heimweg auch.

Für Stadt Essen schon gut. Personal sollte aber Hygiene-Vorschriften beachten: Ware nicht mit geldwechsler Fingern anfassen: zb. Brötchen aufschneiden ohne Handschuhe

Sehr lecker, super frisch und ein sehr netter Inhaber, der immer ein offenes Ohr für die Wünsche seiner Gäste hat. Wir waren schon mehrmals dort und immer äußerst zufrieden. Wir kommen wieder. Es gibt ein beheizbares Zelt in dem man essen kann.

Sehr leckerer Backfisch immer von Freitags bis Sonntags.

Es ist zwar "nur" ein Imbisswagen aber sehr sauber und gut durch Organisiert. Das Zelt für Regenwetter und kalte Tage wird sogar beheizt. Die Sitzgelegenheiten und Tische sind immer sauber. Was ich persönlich gut finde ist, dass Hunde immer gerne gesehen sind. Zu dem Punkt Ambiente : für die Gegebenheiten geht es voll in Ordnung.

Alles super, da muss man nicht bis zur Nordsee fahren, Backfisch klasse, alles sauber und nettes Personal,, sehr empfehlenswert
