We would have liked to have eaten there on Sunday lunchtime. There were reserved signs on four tables. When we asked whether there was still room for two people, we were sent from one employee to the next. The waitress explained to us briefly and succinctly that she needed all four tables and left us standing. Rarely have we been turned away so unkindly in a restaurant. We probably won't come back.

The restaurant is cozy and the food and cake are delicious. The ambience is very pleasant, especially since the location right on the lake invites you to linger outside. The only point of criticism is the prices, especially for coffee.

The restaurant is not in the center of town, which is not a bad thing. The welcome from the service staff was very reserved, rather cold. The ambience inside and outside doesn't necessarily invite you to linger. The taste of the food was delicious but the portion size is rather inadequate for this price. The price-performance ratio here is not right at all, even if the fish is not cheap to buy, which we all know. Something needs to be readjusted here. The service staff should show more empathy towards their guests

Stopped spontaneously and had very tasty, fresh fish dishes. Fast service… food was on the table within 15 minutes. We'd love to come back.

We, 4 adults, wanted to have lunch at this fish restaurant around 12 p.m. yesterday. There were 2 people on the terrace, all the other around 8 tables were unoccupied. All tables in the restaurant are empty. Reserved signs on all tables. When I asked a woman, obviously from the service, whether we could have a sit-down meal, she replied: There's no room for you here, go to the fisherman's, there's a fish sandwich. I think we will never enter this restaurant again and advise everyone not to visit. Too bad for Himmelpfort.

Nice fish restaurant by the lake. Nice service. We ate a mixed fish platter with zander, pike and eel from the local catch. Freshly prepared. Good quality.

This place is absolutely magnificent! We stumbled upon it by accident and got to see how the fish is smoked and prepared. The salmon was incredible, and the staff, especially the fisherman and his daughter, were very friendly. They taught us a lot about the lake and its native fish. The view over the lake and the fishing boats is stunning and we felt genuinely welcomed, making it a truly memorable cultural experience.

There should be 6 stars for the fish, and for the location too, too good to be true. Right on the lake. (You can also come by boat) We had trout and zander and were more than satisfied. Next week again!

The fish restaurant in Himmelpfort is a real highlight for fish lovers. We were particularly impressed by the smoked fish - tender, aromatic and of the highest quality. The idyllic location directly on Lake Stolpsee contributes to the relaxed atmosphere and invites you to linger. The staff was extremely friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The family atmosphere and the attention to detail make the visit a special experience. We will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the restaurant!

Excellent fresh fish dishes at reasonable prices. Next door there is a fish shop with a large selection of fresh fish and our own delicious smoked fish and fish sandwiches.

The restaurant was hardly visited, but they no longer wanted to receive guests at 5:30 p.m.

A stunner, but definitely make a reservation

Sorry, but I've never had such a bad fish sandwich. Dry roll without butter or tartar sauce. Totally loveless, well, and the friendliness wasn't a disaster either. I never again. That was nothing!

We had booked a table. But walk-in customers also had a chance to get a table on weekdays. The female waiter was super nice. The fish dishes are delicious. The vegetables were partly frozen, but mixed with fresh vegetables. Everything very tasty and colorful. There is a small boat dock for guests arriving from the water.

When I requested a reservation, it was rejected because it was supposedly already fully booked for 3 days. There were “Reserved” signs on every table, inside and outside. The female waiter initially turned us away in a very unfriendly manner, saying it was fully booked, although hardly any guests came into the restaurant throughout the evening. Despite everything, the food was very tasty.

That was really something good! The fish dishes were really tasty, something you can't get that easily elsewhere. On the terrace you have a beautiful view of the lake. The service is quick and friendly. I had reserved terrace seats a day in advance, otherwise they would be fully booked.

Unfortunately not a full score, but only because the portion was really puny. There was even a lot of savings on the side dishes. Really just 3 half potatoes or a mini portion of fried potatoes. It's a shame, because the taste was great. But for over 20 euros you want to be full. The male waitress wasn't exactly cheerful. But the lady who also served us.

Unfortunately, we can only agree with the bad reviews as we didn't have a chance to enjoy the food. The two of us opened there around 6 p.m. on a Wednesday. The restaurant was busy due to the wonderful weather, but there were still seats available both inside and outside, albeit overwhelmingly with reserved signs. When we asked for a table, we were arrogantly turned away by the lady serving us, without even trying to seat us somewhere else after a bit of a wait. It's a shame, but we won't be going there again in the future... We finally found what we were looking for in the town right next to the lock and even though everything there was fully booked, we were still able to find a place for us.

Ate very tasty fish sandwiches and bought smoked fish here. Prices are a bit steep, but since everything is handcrafted and done well, it's reasonable.

A really great fish restaurant with extremely good quality, regional. You have to book days in advance otherwise you have no chance of getting a table. The restaurant doesn't have to worry about guests at all because, as I said, demand is extremely high. Unfortunately, the service is only very moderately motivated and anything but enjoyable. I didn't know that the infamous Eastern charm still existed in gastronomy. If you don't care about service and friendliness and want good, fresh, regional products, you should definitely go here...pure nostalgic...

The food was good, sufficient and, in keeping with a fish restaurant, had many fish dishes. There is still a bit of work to be done when designing the area surrounding the terrace. But the view of the lake is very beautiful. If you just want a small snack (fish sandwich) on the way through, you'll get your money's worth. What was a little strange to me was that a reserved sign was placed on every free table and then removed at will when the guests who arrived were "pleasant". We didn't understand the system behind it - except perhaps there weren't enough staff?

Great, super unfriendly service! I wanted to ask if there was another table for three people (how naive of me!). The first service person ignored me with a stony look, the person behind the counter greeted me with a curse: "Shit..., there are only two of us here!" Well, I'm sorry that I'm a bother as a potential customer. As I stood in the restaurant, I remembered that something similar happened to me here last year. Ok, this won't happen to me a third time. Well, we were welcomed very friendly as guests elsewhere in town and had a delicious meal. Of course I can't judge what the food is like here in the fish restaurant. But if you like being treated badly, this is the place for you.

This excellent fish restaurant, in a wonderful location by the water, is located a little deeper in the town on the main road. There is a large parking lot next to the restaurant. From the terrace and from the party tents you have a fantastic view of the Stolpsee. Large parasols offer protection and the comfortable seating invites you to linger. The service is very good, friendly, quick and competent, the food is stylishly prepared and individual dining requests are also fulfilled. My vendace with fried potatoes was a dream and the trout was also great. Definitely a highlight of the day and it shouldn't be the last visit. Highly recommended.

The two of us had lunch on July 4th. Staff helpful. Food was served carelessly without taste. Naked salad, dill sauce without taste, fish not well cooked, fried potatoes also prepared carelessly. Portions far too small and price far too high. We do not recommend the restaurant.

We have been coming to Himmelpfort on vacation for 5 years. We ate there at least once every year. The first 2 years it was really excellent. After that it fell off more and more. Fish is fried fresh, but the side dishes are just bad. Tk vegetables. Roast potatoes terrible. At an average price of 25 euros, it is not affordable. I know that everything has become more expensive, but you can also overdo it. Maybe we should rethink the philosophy. But that's probably not desired anyway. 7.30 p.m. Kitchen closes. Nothing works without a reservation. Guests are sent away. Although there are enough free tables. I know, staff problems. Too bad. A little tip, Templiner Hof

We really liked the restaurant (terrace). The food was very tasty (fish) and our grandson's special requests were fulfilled! Can only be recommended!

Whenever we visit Himmelpfort, we always have a meal at Stolpseefischer. The excellent hospitality and the delicious 😋 food with a view of the Stolpsee have now become a must for us. The food has become about 6 euros more expensive (like everywhere else), 🤷‍♂️ which unfortunately cannot be changed given the current politics.

Wir waren wegen der schlechten Bewertungen hier etwas verunsichert. Haben uns aber trotzdem entschieden das Restaurant zu besuchen. Wir hätten echt etwas verpasst! Wir haben vor unserem Besuch reserviert und wurden dabei freundlich empfangen. Als wir ankamen, durften wir uns einen der freien Tische aussuchen. Das Essen war super lecker! Wir hatten die sensationelle Rauchfischsuppe, danach den Saibling und das Hechtfilet. Dazu einen ausgezeichneten Riesling. Der Kellner hat sogar am Nebentisch für den Gast den Fisch filetiert. Der Service war super nett und freundlich. Es wurde auch gescherzt. Fazit: Wie man den Menschen im Service begegnet, so bekommt man es zurück.

We sat as a family on a beautiful terrace right by the lake. The food was fantastic. I can highly recommend the fish soup and the zander fillet. The service was great. We were served very friendly.

We stopped here on the houseboat at the neighboring harbor jetty and had a meal with the fisherman in the Freisitz restaurant. The service was very attentive and the pike fillet was very good.

The unfriendliness that is shown to you in this restaurant definitely prevents me from visiting again.

Went to the fish restaurant today and had a very good meal. I had fried eel, super tasty and not too greasy, with delicious fried potatoes, my wife had green eel. Both were very good. Highly recommended. Service very good and friendly, prices more than reasonable. Gladly again.

WAS VERY NEGATIVELY SURPRISED BY THE FOOD TODAY (green eel in dill sauce): 1. the eel was cooked but the skin was not removed, 2. there was NO WARM DILL SAUCE, only cold salad dressing with added dill. I don't understand how a good fish can be ruined like that... It had nothing to do with “GOOD KITCHEN” and there was also a trained chef missing from the team today.

Wir wollten zu zweit zu Abend essen, doch dazu kam es leider nicht. Wir wurden trotzt vieler freier Tische abgewiesen sehr unfreundlich abgewiesen. Dazu brauchte der Wirt nicht mal ein Wort, da wir von ihm nur ein leises Kopfschütteln bekamen. Wir hätten hier gern ein Wort des Bedauerns gehört oder lieber noch ein Vorschlag, wie die Situation gerettet werden hätte können. Zu einem Gespräch kam es ja aber leider nicht und somit auch nicht einmal zu einem Getränk für durstige Radler, die für dieses Restaurant 30km auf sich genommen hatten. Wir können den Stolpseefischer leider nicht empfehlen.

We were served very nicely here and I got excellent smoked fish. Of course not cheap, but worth the price. It should be emphasized that the boss also bought us a beer because we bought enough fish. Can recommend the place and will visit again next year. We haven't been to the restaurant next door yet, so I can't comment on the dishes or service. We definitely want to visit next year.

Very nicely located. The fish was really fantastic. Points are deducted for the frozen vegetables and the really bad fried potatoes. (warmed up or bought ready made). Refined with ready-made bacon cubes and fresh spring onions. I'm whining at a high level here. I still have a stomach ache because I can't get enough for 28 euros. But the restaurant can't do anything about that. Therefore 4 stars. The fish was really, really good. Reservation required, even though the restaurant was only at 40‰ capacity after we reserved 2 days in advance. But the operator has to decide for himself. Service was quick and on point. Definitely recommended. One of the few restaurants in the region that accept card payments.

It was a pleasant surprise to be served so kindly and attentively. The food not only tasted delicious, but was also lovingly prepared on the plates. By the way, the dry Riesling tasted very good. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow eating outside.

At the end of the season the quality was checked again and found to be top notch. Have a well-deserved break and stick to the concept, it's not without reason that a reservation is recommended.

Very good food, view of the lake, everything nice to relax

The restaurant has around 20 tables inside and outside. All were decorated with a “Reserved” sign! With an approximate capacity of 80 guests, 7 guests were present (outside the holidays, at the beginning of October, around 5:45 p.m., Thursday). When asked: "I'm sorry, everything is reserved. There were two of us. How arrogant can you be? I'm on vacation so I'm willing to pay a good price for good food. Is everyone too full and still complaining? A Restaurant, not far away, saved our evening (top service, great food). It had to be said!

Bei etwas besserem Wetter diese Woche ohne Reservierung ein Plätzchen ergattert und einen leckeren Fischteller vernascht. Als Wiederholungstäter kommen wir immer wieder gern hier her. Ob zu Fuß, mit Boot oder Rad wir können das Restaurant empfehlen.

Exzellenter Fisch wie Hecht, Aal, Zander. Schmeckt hervorragend. Das Restaurant liegt sehr schön an Stolpsee. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Blick. Eine Empfehlung.

Nettes Lokal in wirklich idyllischem Umfeld. Seeblick im Freisitz garantiert, Besuch über Bootsanleger möglich. Echte Alternative zu den hochfrequentierten Lokalen in Himmelpfort, die kaum zu empfehlen sind. Das Essen sehr gut und frisch, Qualität nicht durchgängig gleich exzellent, aber bislang immer gut.

Ach was ist das schön. Nach 60km Fahrradtour den Abend beim letzten Sonnenschein ausklingen zu lassen. Dazu ein köstliches Köstritzer vom Fass. Die Lockerheit des Chefs. Einfach nur schön.

Einfach Klasse, super Lage sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service

Nach einer ausgiebigen Kajaktour von Fürstenberg/Havel in Richtung Himmelpfort sind wir in der Fischgaststätte "Zum Stolpseefischer" eingekehrt. Ich fasse mich kurz: Die verzehrte Forelle Müllerin war ein Gaumenschmaus der Extraklasse. Auf den Punkt gebraten und butterzart. Die dazu servierten Bratkartoffeln waren ebenfalls perfekt. Das sehr gut gekühlte Bitburger vom Fass passte abgerundet zur Forelle und ließ die Forelle weiter schwimmen. Lieben Dank an das Team im Restaurant "Zum Stolpseefischer".

Speisen sind in Ordnung, könnten etwas größer ausfallen. Gerade bei dieser Jahreszeit wo es Gemüse und Obst in Hülle und Fülle gibt.

Es war mal wieder ein schönes erlebniss,so richtig ein gaumenkitzler .Wir waren 4 Personen,alle sehr zufrieden. Aal mit Bratkartoffeln, fischplatte,Forelle ,Zander.Alles sehr gut und dazu ein schwarzes köstlicher,was will man mehr?

War beim Verkauf von Fisch und Fischbrötchen, lekker. Im separaten Restaurant könnte ich mir auch vorstellen, aber keine Ahnung....

Sehr guter Fisch mit der typischen brandenburger Gastfreundlichkeit. Wenn man hier essen möchte sollte man vorbestellen. Die Tische sind schnell besetzt weil das Essen wirklich gut ist. Das Personal kann dann auch keine Plätze mehr dazuzaubern. Das müssen manche Menschen einfach noch lernen...

Essen mit Blick aufs Wasser, was kann es Schönes geben? Für mich jedenfalls nichts. Das Essen war sehr gut, auch mein Wunsch Bratkartoffeln gegen Pommes auszutauschen, wurde erfüllt. Und auch, dass wir mit Hund dort waren, war kein Problem. Das ist nicht überall so und ist daher wichtig zu erwähnen! Wichtig ist es, dass man einen Tisch vorbestellt, da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war.

Leckere Fischgerichte aber Vorbestellung wichtig

Leider ist in diesem Lokal der Kellner „König“ und so benimmt er sich auch. Er bestimmt, wer bleiben darf und wer nicht. Wir gehörten zu den Auserwählten, im Nachhinein hätte ich auch darauf verzichten können. Das Essen war gut aber Preis— Leistung— naja… . Wahrscheinlich liegt es am Personalmangel. Etwas außerhalb von Himmelpfort, kann man besser und günstiger essen. Ich würde dieses Lokal nicht noch einmal besuchen.

Höflich angefragt, unfreundlich abgewiesen. Diese Gaststätte werden wir nie wieder besuchen. Es gab für zwei Personen Platz an anderen Tischen, man wird wohl keinen Wert auf Gäste legen

Schöne Lage am See, nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Es lohnt sich, die Tagesangebote zu probieren.

Unser erster Besuch bei Fischer war einfach super. Wir waren zu viert und hatten im vorraus einen Tisch reserviert. Alle waren sehr zufrieden. Sehr gutes Essen! Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal! Toller Ausblick über den schönen Stolpsee! Tip: Da sich um die Mittagszeit das Restaurant schnell füllt, nen Tisch reservieren!

Habe mir heute ein Fischbrötchen mit geräucherter Wels und eins mit Lachs geholt. Einfach himmlisch. Das hat so super geschmeckt. Kann ich jedem empfehlen dort hinzufahren, da alles selbst geräuchert wird. Es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an geräuchertem Fisch. Aal ist der Verkaufsschlager.

Das Essen war gut aber nicht ausgezeichnet. Bratkartoffeln waren lasch. Fischplatte war okay. Die Bedienung war recht unfreundlich und nicht sehr motiviert. Schade, Gäste wurden ignoriert oder gar nicht erst reingelassen. Da ist mehr Potenzial vorhanden wenn man Freude bei der Arbeit hätte. Schade.

Etwas vernab vom Zentrum doch der Besuch lohnt sich. Es ist ja schon mal wirklich super dass man in einem Fischrestaurant auch ein Fisch Besteck bekommt (leider ist das nicht überall so) doch hier stimmt alles. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und auch wirklich warm serviert. Das Preisverhältnis ist wirklich gut und der Herrliche Ausblick auf den See ist einfach unbezahlbar. Gern würden wir 10 Punkt geben.

Auch hier waren wir nun zum 3. Mal. Jedesmal aufs Neue eine sehr leckere Erfahrung. Preis-Leistung stimmen hier! Zu beachten ist jedoch die Tatsache, dass ohne Reservierung hier nichts geht. Also: Wer weiß, dass er hier zu speisen gedenkt, rechtzeitig anrufen und reservieren. Es lohnt sich für alle Sinne!!

Waren heute mit Verwandtschaft essen. Bin ja nicht so ein Fischfreund, dennoch hatte ich Zanderfilet bestellt es was super lecker. Service super freundlich und schnell ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ambiente sehr schön eingerichtete Gaststätte auch die Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick auf den Stolpsee einfach schön
