Bootshaus an der Havel in Fürstenberg/Havel

No one's ever there, and it's closed, despite Google Maps showing that the store is open. I've tried several times, but to no avail.

The service is nice and friendly. You have to understand the North Brandenburg dialect, otherwise you might be confused. The food was great.

In the middle of nowhere, yet in a really nice spot: the boathouse on the Havel River! 🚤⚓ Mounted the boat at the free parking lot, climbed onto the terrace right by the water—and we had a "big trout" and a pork knuckle. Fresh, fast, and truly delicious! 🍴🐟🥩 The owner and his waitress run the place in just three evening hours—we think they put a lot of heart into it! Our conclusion: A little insider tip if you're in this area! 👌🏻

We stayed overnight by bike and also ate at the boathouse. The wait staff are almost exclusively retired women who are earning extra money. Don't expect the kind of service you'd get at a Hilton; I would describe the people as friendly and rustic. Absolutely fine for one night, and dinner was pretty good too.

We love mooring there as guest boaters; the dock and location are perfect. The food in the restaurant is delicious, but given the prices, you'd expect larger portions.

The location is fantastic! Right on the Havel River and the Berlin-Copenhagen bike path. Friendly staff and absolutely quiet! This is our third time here.

The food is good. The service is friendly. The restaurant also offers moorings for boats – things aren't quite as colorful here. There are two piers, each with 4-6 spaces, a power pole, and a stone quay where boats can easily be damaged. Cash is the only payment method at the restaurant. The 5-euro shower was supposed to be open from 7 a.m., but by 11 a.m., there was still no one there.

We stayed here overnight on our multi-day bike tour and were happy to have the opportunity to eat here. The room was functionally furnished for our needs as cyclists. We were able to park our bikes safely and dryly in the hallway. As we requested, we were even able to arrive early for breakfast.

I highly recommend this guesthouse. Great rooms, very clean, and beautifully furnished. The food was plentiful, hot, and delicious. The hosts and staff were super friendly. We'd love to come back.

So, the food is good. Freshly prepared. The basic menu features seasonal dishes. Unfortunately, it's a bit limited. There could be a bit more on the plate. Hence the prices a bit too high. €10 for a baked potato. The location is great. Beautifully located on the water. Free 24-hour mooring is 20 meters away. However, there is a paid dock 60 meters away. There's a drinking water filling station and shore power connection. The staff bakes delicious cakes. But they're very grumpy. You almost don't dare order anything.

Closed despite opening hours No information, not recommended. It's a shame considering the prime location on the Havel River; otherwise, there wasn't much else to do in Bredereiche.

We moved into a room with a bathroom. When we arrived, it smelled extremely strongly of diesel or petroleum. Even after intensive airing, because the smell from the hallway couldn't be removed. In the morning, the hot water didn't work, and we couldn't shower. After we woke the owner at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, he tinkered with the heater and turned the hot water back on. When we asked him about the extremely strong diesel or petroleum smell, he said it must have been the cleaning staff cleaning with a rag containing gasoline. Even after 24 hours, the petroleum smell was still extremely strong. Either it was a particularly deeply soaked gasoline rag, or perhaps boat fuel was stored near the hotel rooms. The owner didn't understand. Anyone who wants to inhale the fumes of petroleum, gasoline, or diesel is very welcome. We definitely won't be coming back. Despite these circumstances, he demanded all the money.

Die Lage des Restaurants ist großartig. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf das Wasser. Der Besitzer spricht wenig Englisch, aber er war geduldig genug, um unserem gebrochenen Deutsch zuzuhören und es zu verstehen. Das Essen ist traditionell deutsch und in Ordnung. Wir wussten bereits, dass Bargeld in Deutschland noch immer König ist und viele Geschäfte keine Kartenzahlung akzeptieren. Als wir jedoch bezahlen mussten und der Gesamtbetrag 150 Euro betrug, hatten wir nicht erwartet, dass wir auch das in bar bezahlen müssten. Wer hat denn so viel Bargeld bei sich, dachten wir. Der Besitzer fand es ganz normal und schickte uns zu einem Geldautomaten, der zum Glück in der Nähe war. Als wir zu Hause waren, stellte sich heraus, dass die improvisierte Quittung, die auf ein Stück Papier geschrieben war, nicht stimmte. Es waren 10 Euro zu viel berechnet worden. Der Preis, den man als Gast zahlt, weil ein Restaurant nicht mit der Zeit gehen will?

The food was delicious. The table next to us couldn't order anything at 7:45 p.m., so be sure to check the time. 😉 Cash only, but there's an ATM 200 meters away. The atmosphere at the pier is nice (with a swimming area). However, we wouldn't stop here again. One shower/one toilet - not particularly clean. Showers cost €5.

Beautifully located restaurant on the Havel River, with its own boat dock. Honest, simple cuisine. Delicious homemade cakes. Located right next to the Bredereiche Lock, there's also a "harbor cinema" 😊

Location great, service is bad!!! Eating normally, nothing special! Because of the top location, you can stay here by boat for one night, but you have to order breakfast the evening before if you are on the boat. Even baked rolls for last-minute guests are not put into the oven; the service was reminiscent of the GDR's past. Showers are good!!! I give 3 stars for the location, shower and the draft beer 😉

Beautifully located directly on the Havel. We arrived in Bredereiche by boat on Saturday evening. After a quick phone call, the innkeeper came by especially for us and asked if we wanted to eat something even though it was actually still closed in the early season. He said no problem, his cook would live in town. Super awesome! We then ate delicious fish with fried potatoes on the terrace. A nice chat and homemade ginger schnapps were included free of charge. Thank you for the relaxing evening, we are looking forward to the next time 👍

Anyone who doesn't stop their boat here is making a mistake.

Es gibt drei schöne Zimmer am Kanal. Dann noch vier an der durch den Ort führenden, entsprechend lauten, Straße. Darauf sollte man bei der Buchung achten. Frühstück im Rahmen der Pension war dem Standart entsprechend unauffällig, die Abendessen lecker.

The only thing that's really great is the location... Apparently the landlord rests on it... We had fond memories of the restaurant, but we were there with our friends who live in the place... It was a hot day, but if you don't feel like working, then just close the restaurant... very unfriendly and stroppy, that's not how you treat your guests, the coffee was instant coffee - that's not possible, the cake was still there frozen - very tasty!!!! the best thing is that the bills at the tables were all €14, no matter what was ordered, well you don't need to do much math...

The food was quite ok, the fried potatoes were more like rosemary potatoes and also a bit little, the tartar sauce? There wasn't enough for the herring! And we had to wait forever for the food. Then they collected money for our boat even though the area where we were lying wasn't part of their section. We paid expensive fees!

It was very tasty there. Very nice atmosphere with a view of the Havel. The price/performance ratio is right.

Netter Wirt und Hafenmeister. Essen war lecker und reichhaltig. Waren nicht das erste mal dort und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht da die Bewertungen doch eher mittelmäßig waren. Wir haben außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten bei Starkregen Asyl erhalten inkl. Kaffee und Kuchen. Am Abend haben wir die Küche ausprobiert und wurden auch nicht enttäuscht. Gerne wieder.

Sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Havel, wir haben sehr guten Dorsch gegessen. Das Frühstück für 12 Euro pro Person war aber sehr dürftig.

Super gut, waren schon 2007 und 2018 hier. Immer wieder sehr schön an der Havel zu sitzen.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre, sehr nette Bedienung, gutes Essen. Dort bezahlen die Bootfahrer auch ihre Liegeplatzgebühren und vor der Tür gibt es Frischwasser für den Bootstank.

Es gibt keine bessere Lage für ein Restaurant. Schade, dass so gar nichts daraus gemacht wird. Die Bratkartoffeln waren noch halb roh, haben geschmacklich eher an Rosmarinkartoffeln erinnert, weil wir Hunger hatten, haben wir sie gegessen. Der Kirsch-Streuselkuchen war lecker. Wir sind vor einigen Jahren dort schon essen gewesen, da war es immer lecker und wir waren gerne dort. Hier fehlt jemand mit Herzblut. Schade.

Für alle diejenigen auf dem Wasser genial. Direkt parken vor dem Bootshaus. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Jeder hatte ein anderes Gericht und alle waren super geschmackvoll. Nur zu empfehlen. Hier passt einfach alles. Zu Gast mit dem Hausboot im Bootshaus. Die Bedienung im Besonderen . Mit Humor und Geduld in Perfektion . Hier fühlt man sich tatsächlich noch als Gast willkommen

Ein Becher Kaffee 4€ ....... einfach zum dasitzen und die Sonne genießen, gerade noch erträglich ........ dazu ein Stück TK-Apfelkuchen halb aufgetaut für weitere 4€, einfach eine Frechheit.

Daß sogenannte essen hatte mich fassungslos hinterlassen..Schnitzel aus friteuse mit kunstpanade. .Pommes billigste Ware. .Salat Eisberg mit billigster Remoulade. .2 Bier zusammen . .35.00 wirklich nicht zu empfehlen..Wirt wie ich hörte hat finanziell ausgesorgt. .Keine Motivation. .Dann soll er den laden schließen. .In der nähe haben wir vorzüglich mit ehrlichem essen und freudlichstr Bedienung gespeist..Alle Köche vom Fach schlagen bei dieser Speisekarte ..und ich spreche von keinem gourmetangebot..die Hände über dem Kopf zusammen. .wirklich nicht empfehlenswert..
