The food is perfectly fine, even if you don't eat fish. What's absolutely unacceptable is that we had to wait a whopping hour for our coffee in a restaurant that was only a third full. We've been there a few times, and it's always taken a little longer than at other restaurants, but this time, and the reaction to our annoyance, was the last straw. And that's why we'll be avoiding the Fischerstube in the future.

Super delicious food, lovely ambiance, and hospitality. Parking right in front of the door. A beautiful lake view, simply pleasantly quiet. Personally, I could have done with a bit more fish on the plate.

We stopped by here on a short trip after work on Wednesday. I have to say, a fish restaurant where you actually get fish cutlery already gets half the marks from me. When you add such delicious fish dishes and have such a lovely outdoor seating area with a view of the lake, then you get full marks. So, it was absolutely delicious, the food is freshly prepared, the portions are decent, the service is very friendly and nice, so basically 10 stars.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere!

This was our first time at this restaurant. I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the food. We had fried potatoes as a side dish and beans. Both had a large portion of onions. The beans and onions were quite firm, and there were more onions than anything else on the plate. It tasted good, but there wasn't much of the actual food on it. It's a shame, really... The ambiance and service were good.

For me, the Fischerstube was always the highlight of a trip. But the snottiness I experienced at the snack bar today was nothing short of spectacular. And I say that as a seasoned Berliner. My Bismarck herring was eaten in three forkfuls, it was so small. The restaurant was only half full; previously, you couldn't get in without a reservation. And I'm not surprised. What's going on?

A lovely, quaint restaurant, located right on the lake, with a lovely outdoor area. They serve a wide variety of fish dishes, all fresh and homemade. The service is excellent; you can also buy smoked fish and swim on the sunbathing lawn next door. Be sure to make a reservation!

The online menu doesn't list prices. For good reason, as it turns out. We were served as if we were disturbing the place, even though we were the only customers. A lawn tractor was constantly driving around on the adjacent bathing area, which is apparently part of the restaurant. There was no draft beer because the facility was being cleaned. The food was overpriced and without VAT, which was then added on afterward. When the lawn tractor was temporarily out of service, we ordered dessert. The ice cream sundae wasn't available with wild berries either, only blueberries. When it arrived, the lawn tractor immediately started moving again. Cash only. We certainly won't be going back here, and I can only advise against it. There are plenty of awards in the lobby. But that must have been a long time ago.

Not recommended. It was a Saturday afternoon shortly before 4:00 p.m. We were greeted with the words, "The kitchen doesn't open until 5:00 p.m." When we asked if we could order a drink first, the answer was, "Please be patient." The dining room was completely empty, and only four tables were occupied outside. The waiter was completely overwhelmed with the few customers.

Unfortunately, you can't pay by card. Very stupid.

One star deducted for the somewhat reserved service and the lack of card payments – that would be appropriate. Nevertheless, a clear recommendation for anyone looking for good fish in the region!

We were at the Fischerstube again today after years, and the food was fantastic. From smoked char on lukewarm potato salad to catfish with salad variations on fried potatoes, it gets full marks. An extra star for this cuisine *. The ambiance is a matter of taste; it's rustic and seems a bit overstated, but it's okay. The service was also friendly, and with a fresh smile, it would have been even better ;-) We'd be happy to come back.

This is my first review and I must say I never understood why people write bad reviews till today. This is such a nice location but if you are not german dont bother, as soon they hear us speaking Italian we got treated really bad. The girl with blonde hair shouldn’t be allowed to do hospitality, besides be really rude she completely served the wrong dishes but even when we told her she looked at as like we were coming from the moon. The food wasn’t worth it, the fish was supposed to be smoked but was so cold that wasn’t really tasting like much.. 25€ the plate… I eat 9 hours ago and I still feel super bad, we both wanted to have a nice day at the lake but we was in pain all day.

Conditional - the food was 👍 You could only pay in cash, which you didn't mention beforehand, or via PayPal - which not everyone has. There was a small, faded sign on the entrance door saying "The door was open," so you couldn't read it. So, I was lucky I still had cash on me.

Everything was wonderful. A cool little playground and a swimming area next door. The food was great! The service was very friendly. Cash or PayPal is also great. We'll be back!

The Fischerstube Stolzenhagen is always worth a visit. The delicious fish dishes are, of course, the focus, although some meat dishes are also offered. There are also a few vegetarian options on the menu. The staff has always been extremely friendly and accommodating. In the warmer months, you can also enjoy sitting outside by the water. Highly recommended!

I've been here several times and can't understand some of the scathing reviews. I'm satisfied with the delicious food and have always been served and treated in a friendly manner. However, I don't expect a funny show or entertainment from the waiters. And if I don't like the lack of card payment, I'll just have to eat somewhere else. Making a reservation in advance has proven to be a good idea.

A trip out of Berlin - always a good idea. Based on a recommendation, we ended up at the Stolzenhagen Fischerhütte. Holiday - and we didn't want to go to the restaurant, but to the snack bar on the lawn. Thank you very much for allowing us to take our very old dog with us on a leash. As long as he doesn't come off the leash, of course. But it's also completely understandable, people want to lie in the sun on the meadow and stretch their ashen plauts towards the sun. Of course everything should, must and was clean. We had two beers and a smoked sausage (super tasty)! The person responsible for the sale demonstrated his usual Berlin politeness. So not super friendly, but still charming in his own way. And somehow he also provided a bit of entertainment in the fight with “various children who were ordering in cargo bikes”. A little smile is always nice.

We have been there regularly. If we're nearby, we're happy to take a detour for fish sandwiches and soft ice cream. There is a cozy atmosphere inside. It tastes very good and the prices are usual for fish restaurants.

Whether in the restaurant, on the beach, at the snack bar or at events - it's always great here! Maybe the employees could just be a little less grumpy 😉

Cozy restaurant with a small terrace by the lake, lots of fish dishes

The quality of the food was good, hence the second star, but the service is not there. We asked twice for some bread with the salad. We were completely ignored and this ignorance was cheekily added to the bill with 3.50. No clearing of the table, no asking if everything is ok or if you would like to order anything else. There's still a lot of room for improvement!! And just like in times long past: cash only. No card.

2020: Restaurant located directly on the main road with access to the lake and outdoor seating. The dining room invites you to linger for a longer period of time as it is extremely cozy and has a fireplace in the cold season. There is also an outside seat, of course with service and a view of the lake. Now to the food on offer, in a word, "GENIAL". The catfish I ordered, very tender, superbly seasoned and the edges slightly crispy, a culinary delight, the small potatoes also exceptionally spicy but not intrusively in a perfect consistency, with roasted "greens" as the crowning glory. The side dish of rocket, seaweed and other delicious greens that I didn't know increased the whole thing to the point of "licking the plate". The algae, which is probably why people The reason why I went to this extraordinary restaurant was, in addition to the fantastic taste, it had a special consistency that could perhaps be compared to glass noodles cooked al dente. As already mentioned, I only came across this culinary gem by chance, as it was on my way to and from Wandlitz. It is also highly recommended as a destination for boat rentals and events.

On a Friday, in beautiful spring-like weather, we sat in the garden with a direct view of Lake Stolzenhagen and ate an extremely tasty char with plenty of rosemary potatoes and fresh salad. We bought another inexpensive smoked char to take home. That was also a pleasure. We got the information about hiking for free from the friendly waitress. Thanks! We'd love to come back.

Today we were in the Fischerstube again for a long time and were pleasantly surprised :-) today everything was just right! The weather invited you to sit outside. With a view of the water and a drink in your hand, you can also happily wait for freshly prepared food. The food was super tasty 😋, well seasoned, fried to perfection and the perfect temperature to eat. The service was great today too! Nice, very attentive and accommodating. Our starter was "wasted in the kitchen", so we enjoyed the meal straight away with the main course. The apology was very nice and mistakes happen every time. For dessert we had soft ice cream on hand and it was just as good 👍👌 We were completely satisfied today and can happily recommend the Fischerstube.

Rating for the Irish evening in the Fischerstube Stolzenhagen We were really looking forward to the Irish evening in the Fischerstube Stolzenhagen and were excited about the combination of good food and live music. Unfortunately, the evening did not meet our expectations in some respects. On a positive note, the band was really great and created a great atmosphere. We and the audience really liked the music, but there was no opportunity to dance because the restaurant was completely full of tables and chairs. We really missed that, because with such rousing music it would have been easy to dance. The buffet, however, was a big disappointment. We were there at 7:10 p.m., the buffet opened at 7:00 p.m. - and by 7:30 p.m. there was hardly any fish or other food left. Fish was added again, but then the side dishes and vegetables were missing. At 7:50 p.m. the buffet was practically empty. For the price of €58 per person, which included food and music, it was simply not value for money. We're happy to pay for good music, but when a buffet is included in the price, we expect better organization and a reasonable amount of food. Unfortunately, this was not the case here, which was particularly disappointing for our entire group. Conclusion: The music was fantastic, the ambience was right, but the buffet was completely inadequate. If you come for live music, you certainly won't be disappointed, but if you're paying for the food, you should lower your expectations considerably.

Was there briefly and can say it was wonderful, provided with food and drinks, but they weren't to be given away. All joking aside, great shop with really delicious food, I didn't think there would be so much going on on a Wednesday, but wherever it's tasty it's always busy. Price performance is good, and the cleanliness too, I was particularly pleased with the toilet, you can actually conclude a lot from that. All in all I felt very comfortable, thanks to the team for the nice time with you, I'll definitely come back again. Best regards

A perfect day trip destination, especially in the summer! Following a recommendation, I headed to the Fischerstube in the summer. You can swim and enjoy the sun on the lawn. If you get hungry or thirsty, there's something for everyone at the snack bar or restaurant. The staff are helpful and friendly. A definite recommendation and always worth a visit.

The Christmas reading on December 20, 2024 was a wonderful evening. In addition to the stories and sounds of the violin, the buffet must be praised. Feel good all around...

The food looked very good and tasty but somehow it had no taste, the only things you could taste were the rosemary and the seaweed salad (you should like seaweed salad for that). Maybe it was just the dish itself (Welshit). The others said it was delicious. Unfortunately, no card payment possible. And since there is no map online, I have uploaded the current one here as pictures. Please note the date as I don't know how often it is changed. In the end it's okay.

A really nice place with a wonderful view of a beautiful lake and an outdoor swimming pool right next door. The food was very tasty and the prices are completely normal. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't seem to be fully prepared for the high demand in summer, as our food only arrived after 50 minutes. Still a recommended place for a relaxed meal if you have some time.

Great restaurant, right on the lake in a quiet location. The food is always excellent. Good traditional cuisine, schnitzel, fish, various side dishes. The prices are completely reasonable. Always happy to come here. Reservations often required as there are not very many seats.
