Fischerhütte am Griesweiher in St. Ingbert

We were working on a construction project near the Fischerhütte at Griesweiher. We ate lunch there every day. The food was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone. Super friendly people who make incredibly delicious food! Thanks and see you next time!

Delicious food and a lovely beer garden. Unfortunately, it's very annoying that the Schlemmerblock (snack bar) only counts with a 24-hour advance reservation. Even if everything is available, it's not accepted without a reservation... completely incomprehensible and outrageous. It doesn't say so in the book, so unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it! Spontaneity is lost, and there's no information about the requirement.

I was introduced to it through the gourmet blog and was really impressed...the place is cozy, but unfortunately it was raining outside, so we ate inside. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious 😋 and the price/performance ratio was also good, so I'd definitely go back.

We wanted to go out for a spontaneous meal, having a gourmet meal for the first time in a long time. We then read on a sign that a meal with a meal plan was only available with a reservation. When we asked, we were given only flimsy excuses. So we just ate without a meal plan. The bottom line is that I can get equivalent food at Globus for less than half the price.

While you're served at your table inside, there's self-service outside. You place your order inside and are given a device that beeps to indicate that your food is ready. We had the Fischerhüttenburger twice and the Wurstsalat once, which was good enough. The beer garden also scores points for its idyllic location by the Griesweiher lake. Unfortunately, points are deducted for the hygiene outside. A sheet of paper as a menu with countless food stains on it, truly disgusting. The paper tablecloths also appeared to have not been changed in a while; you could definitely see the bottle and glass marks left by previous visitors. Hygiene is paramount in a restaurant, and this needs to improve here at the Fischerhütte am Griesweiher. Therefore, for me, only 3 out of 5 stars.

We had a snack block with us, but it wasn't accepted. We won't be back under these circumstances. The food didn't really live up to our expectations either...

We like to go here as often as possible. We've always received very friendly service. Great staff and incredibly good food – the schnitzel alone, oh my... It's a small business, but really great. Thank you for your effort and consistently great service!

Yes but it is a traveling restaurant

Unfortunately, I've had diarrhea and stomach problems for a day and a half now since eating at the restaurant.

We ordered delicious food for 25 people for our son's baptism. It was simply unbelievably delicious, totally uncomplicated, and, above all, on time to the second. Definitely 10 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended! Cozy atmosphere, very friendly service, and great food. 10 out of 10! Thank you!

Three of us went to dinner on a Wednesday evening. The waiter at the bar wasn't very knowledgeable about the drinks selection. The food was disappointing. The burger had sauce from a bottle. The fries were just scraps. The salad had a mayo dressing, and the lettuce leaves were brown around the edges. The food was beyond bad and I wouldn't recommend it. We'll never go back. And we were so happy.

You don't necessarily have to understand the reviews; it all comes down to personal taste. At first glance, it looks appealing. At second glance, it's already starting to show: brown spots on the salad, not pleasant. I'm guessing the mayonnaise/yogurt sauce; no salt, no pepper, no vinegar, or mustard, let alone herbs or onions. ...pure mayo. The only bright spot is the cute little fried potatoes; they were tasty. Tomatoes without seasoning, not a real treat. The restaurant is located on a busy street, not a visual highlight. Overturned flower pots, tables with overflowing ashtrays, and tables that hadn't been cleaned after the guests had left. I also noticed that the salads weren't eaten and some were returned. The staff, on the other hand, were very friendly and accommodating. Perhaps you could change your dressing and be more careful about what you give out.

We wanted to eat there with the gourmet block...unfortunately there is a sign at the entrance saying that the block can only be used if you make a reservation the day before.

Today, on a Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., I drove from Saarbrücken with two friends. The place was in the voucher booklet, which I like to use to discover new things. On site, they said the voucher couldn't be used. It only works with a reservation. The voucher booklet states: Reservations requested, not required. Drove the distance for nothing...that's not customer-friendly. Shortly afterward, there was a sign outside saying that Schlemmerblock (a snack bar) only serves by reservation...for organizational reasons? It's great to find out that after you've already gone. There were two guests inside and four outside... They don't seem to want or need more guests...a shame and disappointing. We just had a drink and went to another restaurant.

I was there today with friends. We wanted to redeem a Schlemmerblock voucher. We were rudely informed that this was only possible with a reservation. Of course, this isn't stated in the Schlemmerblock's terms and conditions. They didn't accommodate us at all, even though we had driven over 30 kilometers. We found it impossible and decided we wouldn't bother coming back, with or without the Schlemmerblock... No go.

Under no circumstances. The food had to be eaten with cake cutlery, the wait was up to 1.5 hours, the food was cold, and the steak was overcooked, making it inedible. The salad dressing was tasteless! This fisherman's hut was an absolute disappointment!!!

They don't have any vegan dishes except fries. They were flexible enough to prepare something special for me.👍

Look into the kitchen and the food was done.

We expected more and were disappointed. No service outside, queuing like in a company cafeteria, and so-so food. We actually wanted a second drink, but we had to wait in line for drinks too. And finally, the best part... we had to clear the dishes ourselves. No risk of repeating.

Nice surroundings. I had sausage salad with fries. The sausage salad could have been better. It was a bit bland and dry. The fries were good.

A very beautiful, quiet, mostly shady location right by the pond. The food was amazingly delicious 😋. The cake was super fresh, and all at an unbeatable price. The restrooms were spotless and apparently new. You can tell the friendly young host has put a lot of heart and soul into it. We've been there twice and will definitely return when the weather's nice.

We were there around lunchtime; there was one table occupied, plus a few guests at the bar. I wanted a quick bite to eat, and we just wanted a quick drink, so I ordered the bread with two dips. I thought it was prepared and would be quick. Unfortunately, it took forever, and when I asked about it, the lady at the counter became very rude. When it finally arrived, it was six small slices of (at least warmed) baguette and two mini bowls of burger sauce and a tasteless garlic or onion butter, or was it more like margarine? For €6.90, I thought it was completely overpriced. To be honest, I was expecting two decent slices of farmhouse bread and spicy herb quark with some garnish like radishes or tomatoes. The other dishes on the menu also seemed too expensive for a beer garden. I actually wanted an Aperol Spritz to drink, but since they didn't have any ice, I just had a soda. Here, too, the lady reacted unnecessarily aggressively instead of simply saying she was sorry, but they didn't have any ice at the moment. The ambiance is okay for a beer garden, but some of the chairs are showing their age, and the busy street makes it less than comfortable. Overall, a rather unpleasant experience that I won't repeat.

A bit out of the way, but still easily accessible. The outdoor seating feels a bit like a parking lot, but you're surrounded by greenery. The food is delicious, but there's no table service; you'll be notified via a buzzer.

We were in the Fischerhütte and tried the new barbecue burger – absolutely recommended! The meat was super juicy and grilled to perfection. Particularly noteworthy is the homemade sauce - nice and spicy and really tasty. The prices are fair, and as always the service was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Today we had dinner with 8 people in the fishing hut after a hike. We were all very satisfied. We all enjoyed the food very much. Portions are large and you can't complain about the prices either. Service friendly and attentive. We'll definitely come back

Ordered there for the second time today. The delivery time was confirmed as 57 minutes, very unfriendly on the phone, the food took two hours and the two side dishes of salad were not delivered at all, not recommended. Since there was neither a solution nor they simply hung up. The food was good, but as I said, the staff on the phone was unfriendly and the salads were forgotten.

I have to say that the fishing hut at Griesweiher is just great. The food tastes good, the service is great and the prices are absolutely reasonable. The portions are enough to fill you up and the price is definitely justified. We always make sure that there is variety on the menu and everything is always fresh and well prepared. The staff are very friendly and helpful and deserve every tip. It is also very clean there. The only drawback is the road, which is not very far away and occasionally penetrates the otherwise beautiful atmosphere. But all in all it is very nice to eat there, whether outside or inside. I also think it's great that the boss always comes up with something new, such as a Mallorca evening in summer with a DJ, cocktails set up on the sandy beach and more. Always my pleasure

Unfortunately, the food didn't entirely convince me. The sausage salad with fried potatoes had room for improvement: 1. The portion was rather small for the price. 2. The fried potatoes were quite greasy, which somewhat affected the enjoyment. 3. The onions were missing in the sausage salad, which didn't quite do justice to the typical taste. 4. The sausage salad seemed like it was ready-made and could have been a little fresher. 5. Overall, the dish could have used a little more seasoning. On the positive side, the ingredients seemed basically okay. With a little more freshness and a finer balance of flavors, the dish could certainly taste even better.

I was really looking forward to the promised first-class brisket - "particularly tender meat and incomparable juiciness." Unfortunately, my experience was anything but that: the brisket was extremely dry and tough, a far cry from the high expectations that were raised. Even though I may have had bad luck with my piece... The taste of the chicken wings was frozen It's a shame that the quality promise wasn't kept.

Ordered here because of the good reviews. However, the anticipation of delicious schnitzels was quickly dampened because they were 2 small (probably ready-made schnitzels) that were deep-fried. The 3 fries that came with it also tasted like older frying fat. All in all not satisfactory for this price.

We have eaten at the Fischerhütte several times and have also ordered food home. Because we were always satisfied, we ordered a large table for the family yesterday. Unfortunately it was icy cold in the dining room. We had to sit there with coats and the children with ski suits and hats. The food wasn't good either. The salad tasted like nothing and with the fried potatoes with the schnitzel and the 2 salads you had the impression that the usual portion was simply divided between 3 people. Far too little to be even remotely full. But given the cold and the general discomfort in the dining room, you just wanted to get out quickly anyway. The radiator at our table was turned on at some point, but it was far too late and we were already cold. Conclusion: If you want to establish this hut as a restaurant with an indoor area, then you first have to keep it warm in winter, make the interior more comfortable and buy chairs that don't collapse under the guest. This also happened twice yesterday.

Very simple but delicious breakfast, coffee was included. Coffee specialties now had to be ordered separately.

Had dinner today with 3 people. The dining room was ice cold and the outside temperature was 0 degrees. Actually, I couldn't stand it without a jacket. After half an hour, two burgers and a salad plate arrived. Salad plates were fine, but the fries on both burgers were lukewarm, The bacon on my burger was ice cold and the plates were also cold. We ate everything because we were hungry and cold but we won't be back over the winter months. We've been there several times in the summer and everything was ok A wood stove would definitely do the guest room good.

Nice location by the pond. The service was very friendly, but unfortunately the boss was even less so. We asked if we could use 2 Schlemmer blocks because we were there with 2 adults and 2 children. The boss's reaction was very clear and clear. No 2 blocks are accepted at this table! Even the table next to us talked about it afterwards because the speech was loud enough for others. The burgers were okay, the salad and the cream schnitzel were really nothing. Therefore only 2 stars overall.

Ok, I didn't expect something like that to happen in a fishing hut, but you're always happy to be informed. Staff/service was really great 👍🏻. The food was a surprise, I wasn't expecting that. Freshly prepared, visually appealing and very tasty 👌🏻, some people can learn a thing or two from this. If you are traveling from Hassel towards Niederwürzbach or vice versa and happen to be hungry, you should stop here and eat. I will definitely come back. Thank you very much 🙏🏻

A beautiful beer garden directly at the Griesweiher. We redeemed the mobile gourmet block and had an excellent meal. The portions were really filling. The side salad is large, fresh and crunchy. The mushrooms in the cream sauce from the schnitzel were also fresh and tasted great. There were also steakhouse fries. Price-performance ratio is absolutely great. The drinks are available inside at the counter from very friendly staff, as it is self-service outside.

We like to be here often. It's nice to sit here and the food is great too. The waitresses are all very courteous and nice. Unfortunately there is a point deduction for the service today. What I don't think is so nice is that it seems completely self-service outside, even for the food. There are always two waitresses there, so you could at least bring out the food in peace

A beautifully situated hut by a pond. When the weather is nice you can sit outside, but you won't be served here; you have to order drinks and food inside and then pick them up there. The food is freshly prepared and tastes good, but the Schlemmerblock owners are not allowed to order steak because (according to the staff) it would be too expensive to buy. My opinion: if I offer something via Schlemmerblock, the guests should have a free choice and be able to use the entire menu. Or I'll just leave it alone with the gourmet block. Sitting outside? With a mediocre solo entertainer, not something for everyone. Conclusion: Nothing if you want to go out for a leisurely meal, a purely excursion restaurant where you can eat and drink quickly... As long as you get a seat.

The place itself is beautiful 🤩 You can sit outside and have a great view of the pond. Otherwise we were very disappointed. The cocktails were brought without ice cubes (were not available at the moment) and 1/4 liter of mineral water costs 2.40 which means almost 10€ for a liter. And that's just outrageous.

We wanted to make a reservation by phone. After countless calls we picked up and when we asked if there was a table available for two people a day later we were told: just come by. We were there but there was no free table because there was probably a small party having a party there. We left and won't be coming back.

A bit noisy but great food, fresh, hot, super nice, familiar! I can only recommend it, the cream schnitzel with French fries and salad was very reasonably priced. Only Mango no WiFi but then you have time to have a chat!

Super Essen, sehr nettes, aufmerksames Personal und Kakao mit Sahne und Schuss🤤 Im Sommer mit dem Weiher im Rücken bestimmt auch draußen sehr gemütlich. Beim rein fahren nur bitte langsam, da geht's etwas steil bergab zum Parkplatz aber mit dem richtigen Tempo geht's auch wenn's Auto tiefer ist😋

Sehr leckeres Essen! Es ist sehr schwer sich zu entscheiden, weil alles lecker schmeckt. Die Speisekarte lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Ich kann aber besonders das Champignons Schnitzel empfehlen. Gemütliches Ambiente und super nettes Team. Einen Besuch wert!

Wie immer sehr lecker und sehr sehr nette Bedienung. Waren nun schon öfter da und waren stets zufrieden. Man sitzt schön (drinnen oder draußen) Das Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich. Die Bedienung ist super nett und lässt auch keinen Extrawunsch offen 😀

Schön, dass ein junges, freundliches Gastronomieteam aktuell die traditionsreiche Fischerhütte betreibt. Das Essen ist schmackhaft, die Portionen gut und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ebenfalls. Im Sommer lässt es sich sicherlich angenehm unter den Sonnenschirmen am Weiher sitzen. Ab Herbst ist es aber auch innerhalb der überraschend hellen Fischerhütte gemütlich. Auch die herbstliche Deko mit Kürbissen hat uns sehr gefallen. Bezahlung mit Karte und Bar möglich. Meine Familie und ich hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder, um die gut-bürgerliche Küche zu genießen.

Wir kommen gerne zur Fischerhütte. In letzter Zeit des öfteren auch zu Klasse Life Musik.

Hier der so ernannte Junggastronom ;) Leider schaffen wir es trotz aller Bemühungen nicht, die Telefonnummer zu aktualisieren. Eine Seite wie diese hat immer einen Besitzer, dieser wird vermutlich ein Vorpächter der Hütte sein. Vielen Dank dennoch für ihr Feedback, doch leider liegen ihre Möchtegern Vermutungen hierbei Falsch! Die Hütte hatte aus dem selben Grund geschlossen, wie es auf dem Schilde auch stand. Die Hütte ist mittlerweile natürlich schon längst wieder geöffnet, und empfängt sie natürlich herzlich bei uns in der Hütte zu den angegebenen Zeiten. Mit besten Grüßen Ihr Junggastronom!
