The herring rolls are simple but perfect. Delicately pickled herring, fresh and mild in flavor, meets crispy onions and a roll that's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. No frills—just honest taste, as it should be.

We enjoyed the fried fish sandwiches. The remoulade was delicious.

During our short bike ride, we stopped here for lunch today. We think the location is fantastic. The harbor, the fishermen's shacks, the view of the water are magnificent. We had two cod fillets with fries. Good value for money, excellent quality, and good quantity. The fish sandwiches we saw on neighboring tables were definitely top-notch. Our cod fillet was fresh and fried to a crispy finish. The fries were also good.... A definite recommendation from us.

It tastes the best here! And the delicious garlic sauce with the fried fish sandwich is world-class. We'd love to come back.

I came here based on good recommendations for fish sandwiches and was sadly disappointed. I had a Bismarck and a herring. Both were served in a dry bun with absolutely no love. Sorry, but it was absolutely nothing compared to the competition.

When you order fish from a fish stall right by the fishing harbor, you expect freshly caught fish prepared by experts. Here, you get fried convenience foods that taste like frozen fish sticks! These people have never seen real kibbelinge, let alone eaten them themselves! This is a disgrace and a tourist rip-off!

Fried fish from the microwave, tiny pieces of kibbeling. I was absolutely disappointed and will definitely never eat here again. Price and performance are disproportionate. I don't know whether fresh fish or wholesale fish is sold, but I highly doubt that the fish comes from Lübeck. Selling from a stall, you are asked to pick up the food over a loudspeaker. Location between the harbor (unfortunately not pretty to look at) and a large construction site, seats right on the street.

The fact that some people like Vinegar with Fish & Chips, as is originally the case and is actually common in England, has not yet got around. Staff explained to me that we are here in Germany. I found the note unnecessary now. Food was otherwise ok.

Dry roll, without sauce with mackerel. The Kibbelinge were rectangular, they seemed to be ready-made from the frozen food and were not a Kabelau fish. I can't really understand the other reviews that made me want to come here...

We were lured here by the very good reviews. Unfortunately, we discovered that the fish sandwiches we ordered were not freshly prepared. The rolls were in the display case and were completely dry. The crust was peeling off the bun. The service specialist didn't want to exchange the rolls. Very bad. However, the prices are quite low for Travemünde.

I was there today Sunday April 28th by chance, read the reviews and ordered it, I paid 33 euros for three dishes, really very good fish, three ladies run it, from what I saw I had feeling like it would be great 👍

After hearing about the numerous positive reviews on Google, I couldn't wait to visit Fisch Paul in Lübeck - and I wasn't disappointed! Despite the general price increases, the fish sandwiches here were worth every cent. Not only were they freshly prepared, but they were also incredibly tasty. I was really impressed by the selection of fresh fish and the preparation methods. It's clear to see that quality is the top priority here. The only thing that might be a bit challenging is parking in the area. But with a short walk this small disadvantage is quickly forgotten. In addition, the opportunity to stroll along the Fish Mile is a pleasant way to use your time and enjoy the atmosphere. I particularly praise the seating in front of and next to the snack bar. It's a nice touch that you can sit comfortably here and enjoy your fish to the fullest. Overall, I can only warmly recommend Fisch Paul in Lübeck. For all fish lovers and foodies, this place is an absolute must. The quality of the food, the friendly atmosphere and the lovingly prepared dishes make every visit an unforgettable experience. A big thank you to the entire team – I'll definitely be back!

Great fish snack right in the harbor. Delicious daily specials and fish sandwiches. Fresh smoking is still taking place here. Seating options with a view of the ships and the Priwall. Screaming seagulls and a North German smack round off the Baltic Sea ambience.

Sehr leckere, preiswerte Fischgerichte in echtem Hafenambiente! Wir haben sowohl Backfisch- als auch Krabbenbrötchen sehr genossen und uns dabei über die niedrigen Preise gefreut. Nicht umsonst ist es vor allem bei gutem Wetter mitunter schwierig, hier noch einen Sitzplatz zu ergattern. Für Fisch Paul lohnt es sich, vom Fähranleger kommend ein paar Meter weiter zu laufen, um wirklich gut zu essen.

Schön gelegener Imbiss am Fischereihafen in Travemünde. Urige Gegend mit Charme, man darf hier keinen Luxus oder Schickimicki erwarten, ist einHafen mit Fischerbooten. Aber jetzt zum Essen: Backfisch mit Kartoffelsalat, immer wieder ein Genuss. Der Backfisch frisch zubereitet, heißt warten. Aber das tue ich gerne weil es dann wirklich frisch, knusprig und lecker ist. Ob der Kartoffelsalat selbst gemacht ist weiß ich nicht, aber er schmeckt. Preis Leistung passt. Auch sonst lecker Fischbrötchen und zu trinken gibt es auch was, z.B. Alkoholfreies Alsterwasser.

Super lecker und freundlich. Die hausgemachten Fischfrikadellen sind ihr Geld absolut wert und auch das Krabbenbrötchen schmeckte unserem Großen. Top

Wir haben hier sehr leckere frisch zubereitete Fischbrötchen gegessen, wurden sogar nach Wünschen bzgl. Soße gefragt. Immer wieder gern :-)

Har enlig ondt af kun at give 2 da manden var lige så god som den så ud, men når 50% af selskabet kommer til at vente 30 for pomfritter, og de så har byttet rundt på det tilbehør der skulle på kan det ikke blive til mere.

Wegen der angeblich hausgemachten Fischfrikadelle kommen wir regelmäßig her, in der Sonne sitzen und Leute / Schiffe gucken geht hier wunderbar, gut schmecken tuts auch, wenngleich hier auch alles immer teurer wird - die Frikadellen werden dazu noch kleiner und der Laden hat nur dann geöffnet wenn die Herrschaften mal Bock drauf haben.

Alles perfekt 👌, Preis/Leistung völlig in Ordnung. Wir gehen bestimmt noch ein mal hin. Man kann dort auch Windgeschützt sitzen. Denn der Wind kann auch zu dieser Jahreszeit sehr frisch sein.

Hier kommt man zum Fischbrötchen genießen her! Ja, zu bestimmten Zeiten wartet man einige Minuten, um die Bestellung aufzugeben, dann wir man aufgerufen, um das Essen abzuholen. Aber die Frische ist die Mühe sicher wert. Ich fand das Personal und auch den Chef freundlich, und wenn gegen Abend irgendwelche Produkte aus sind, finde ich das ein gutes Zeichen.

Wegen dem schlechten Service kam es nicht zur Bestellung. Imbusbuden-Atmoshäre und eine genervte Bedienung. Es gibt in Travemünde wesentliche bessere Fischrestaurants

Wir haben es uns auf der Terrasse am Hafen gemütlich gemacht und unser Essen geordert (Selbstbedienung). Wir hatten Brathering- (hausgemacht!) und Krabbenbrötchen, eine hausgemachte Fischfrikadelle und eine Ofenkartoffel mit Krabben, dazu gezapftes Bier - alles sehr lecker und authentisch! Nettes Personal und sogar Kinderstühle 👍 Gerne wieder!

Bisher wurden wir bei unseren Besuchen beim Fisch Paul noch nicht enttäuscht. Der Backfisch, die Fischfrikadellen und auch der Kibbeling waren sehr lecker.

Die Location ist aufgrund ihrer guten Wasserlage ein Goldgrube, auch, wenn die Art und Weise der "Speisenverteilung" ein Horror ist. Erst Anstehen für die Bestellung, dann ewige Wartezeiten (auch, wenn es frisch zubereitet wird, ist die Wartezeit unakzeptabel) und dann stellt man fest, dass mindestens 5 Leute, die hinter einem standen, schon aufgerufen wurden (Wartezimmer-Style). Auf freundliches Nachfragen, denn man hat ja Urlaub und Zeit, weil ich dachte, meine Bestellung wäre irgendwie verschütt gegangen, kam die akzentgefärbte Aussage: "Chabe nich gesagt, dass Sie kommen bald dran". Auch, wenn es dort schmeckt, kommt dies nicht mehr in Frage. Zumal man sein Essen gegenüber den Möwen verteidigen muß, aber das ist ja noch lustig. Aber: Überheblich oder einfach "satt" hat einen Namen: Fisch-Paul

Stopped by for a Rotbarschfilet with Bratkartoffeln. Had to wait for a fresh batch of Bratkartoffeln but not a problem as there was plenty to see. Very tasty fish.

Leckere einfache Fischgerichte mit sehr guten Bratkartoffeln. Schnelle Selbstbedienung in einer sehr guten Lage direkt an der Travepromenade. Gutes Preis-leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder.

Cheap seafood and beer next to the harbour. Watch the boats go by and dig in to some fried sole and potatoes. They also have fresh herring if you’re into that.

Wenn man sich in Travemünde aufhält, muss man unbedingt bei "Fisch-Paul" vorbeischauen. Es gibt dort die leckersten Fischbrötchen von Lübeck und Umgebung

Schöne Location mit sehr unkompliziertem, frischem und leckeren Fischgerichten. Man kann hier noch Abendsonne genießen und die Schiffe vorbeifahren sehen. Sehr schön. Barrierefrei
