Finkenwerder Landungsbrücke in Hamburg

„So eine Scholle habe ich noch nie gegessen. Tiefkühlware – totgekühlt, ohne Geschmack und einfach enttäuschend.“

Die Finkenwerder Landungsbrücke war mal ein Ort für solide Fischküche. Bei unserem letzten Besuch waren die Tische etwa zur Hälfte besetzt. Der erste Eindruck: Die Gerichte auf der Karte sind um zwei Drittel geschrumpft – nur noch drei bis vier Fischgerichte, die man überall in Hamburg bekommt. Die gebratenen Heringe, die das Haus ehemals gut konnte, sind - natürlich - nicht mehr dabei. Nach ca. 25 Minuten wurden wir darüber aufgeklärt, dass an dem Tisch, an dem wir saßen – und der sich am Rande des Außenbereichs befand, nicht bedient werden würden – und dass wir uns zentraler plazieren müssten. Wegen Bestellung angefragtes Personal reagierte mehrere Mal mit dem Hinweis, dass jemand anderes zuständig sei – dass man den Wunsch nach Bestellung weiter geben würde. Das wiederholte sich etwa vier Mal. Der Service (der Begriff formuliert in diesem Fall einen sehr hohen Anspruch) wusste zu keiner Zeit, an welchen Tisch er die Bestellungen bringen sollte, weshalb die anwesenden Gäste spontan eine Selbsthilfegruppe gründeten, um zu klären, wer was auf dem Tablett des Kellners bekommt. Das gegenwärtige Service-Personal war sich einig, dass es sich nicht einig war – und trug seine Differenzen frohgemut und öffentlichkeitswirksam im Restaurant aus. Ein sich besonders hervortuender, kleiner energischer Kellner meinte auf den Sachverhalt angesprochen, dass man ja seine Meinung sagen müsse – und dass insbesondere er und das Restaurant insgesamt - sehr anerkannt und beliebt seien. Abschließend kurz zum Essen: Der Hamburger Pannfisch war mäßige Basisqualität – und mit über 20 € pro Portion bei der Qualität ein ausgesprochen unfaires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein rundum gelungener Besuch an der Finkenwerder Landungsbrücke! Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist einfach traumhaft und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Fisch war hervorragend zubereitet – frisch, saftig und perfekt gebraten. Dazu ein leckerer Kartoffelsalat und ein kühles Getränk – besser geht es kaum. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Die entspannte Atmosphäre mit Blick aufs Wasser macht den Besuch zu einem echten Genuss. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Gut mit dem Schiff zu erreichen, auch ein kl. Urlaub. In der Woche ist auch nicht zu voll. Wir kommen wieder. Immer was besonderes für uns.

Wir sind mit der Elbfähre nach Finkenwerder gefahren und freuten uns dort aufgrund der Hitze auf eine Pause auf der Terrasse. Das Ambiente sowie die Lage waren vielversprechend. Leider wurden wir herb enttäuscht. An unserem Tisch bekamen wir Speisekarten und haben Getränke bestellt. Allerdings wurden wir nicht bedient, da wir "jenseits der Bedienungsgrenze" saßen. Nach 20 Minuten also in den richtigen Bereich gesetzt. Die Servicekräfte hatten wohl alle ihren ersten Tag im Service und waren komplett überfordert. Das Essen war soweit in Ordnung aber auch nicht herausragend. Schade eigentlich, denn die Location ist für Gäste, die einen Ausflug mit der Fähre machen, im Grunde ideal. Die Lage ist super. Mit solch einem dilletantischen Service wird das aber leider nichts. Da geht man 1 Mal hin und nie wieder.

Freundliches Personal Lecker Scholle Finkenwerder Art

Der Service oben im Biergarten lässt leider sehr zu wünschen übrig. Warme Getränke und lange Wartezeiten sind hier zu erwarten. Der Kellner unten im Restaurant hat uns letztendlich ausgeholfen. Den Aperol gab’s mit Minze und EINEM Eiswürfel. Bei 30 Grad. Geht gar nicht. Essen hatten wir keins.

Der schlechteste Service, den ich je in Hamburg erlebt habe! Total unwillig. Wir wollten das Tagesgericht bestellen. Man sagte uns, es würde eine halbe Stunde dauern, und wir sollten uns das noch überlegen. Wie kann es sein, dass das Tagesgericht so lange dauert? Als die Kellnerin endlich zurückkam, meinte sie, es gäbe zwar eine Gruppe, die aber schon vor uns saß, deshalb könnten wir jetzt nichts mehr bestellen. Was soll das denn heißen? Das Bier war gut, aber wir haben nichts gegessen. Geht bloß nicht dorthin!

Sind mit 5 Personen am Pfingstsonntag und der Fähre 62 zu einer kleinen Hafenrundfahrt an den Finkenwerder Landungsbrücken gelandet. Das Ambiente auf der Terrasse war schön, mit Blick auf die Elbe und den Fähranleger. Das Personal war nett, aber meiner Meinung nach überfordert. Ständig lief jem. mit Heißen Getränken durch die Gegend und fragte an jedem Tisch ob die Bestellung ihnen gehört. Speisen und kalte Getränke müssen (auf der Terrasse)selbst geholt werden, was auch ok ist. Getränke aus Plastikbechern war nicht schön aber wegen der Selbstbedienung ok. Leider lange Wartezeit am Getränkewagen.

Wir haben schön auf der Terrasse gegessen und das Wetter war herrlich. Das Essen war klasse und die Bedienung nett und freundlich. Was will man mehr.

Für 17,90€ erwartet man nicht 2 Teigtaschen mit Ziegenkäse, mit ein bisschen geschnittenem Gemüse, welches sehr fettig war… Ausblick ist sehr schön, muss man sagen :)

Spontan zur Mittagszeit oder eingekehrt und nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Fischpfanne war sehr lecker. Service war 1a. Der Ausblick sehr schön (ich saß auf der Terrasse).

Wir besuchen seit mehreren Jahren regelmäßig dieses Restaurant. Allerdings nehmen wir schon seit zwei Jahren nach und nach immer mehr Verschlechterungen bei der Qualität der Speisen und Angebote wahr. Unser absolute Negativ Erfahrung war der Muttertagsbrunch für 21,90 Euro. Bis 10.00 Uhr gab es nur Brötchen, Croissants, Aufschnitt, Cerealien, Obst und Gemüse. Gegen 10.30 Uhr folgten dann kleine Bratwürste, Bacon und Rührei aus dem Tetra Pak. 11.30 Uhr kamen dann etwas Pannfisch, geschmacklose Kartoffeln aus dem Beutel, fertige aus der Tüte stammende Spätzle, Pfannengemüse und Gulaschsuppe. Allerdings dauerte es fast 20 Minuten, bis es zu der Suppe dann auch eine Kelle und noch etwas länger bis es dann auch noch Schälchen für die Suppe gab. Für den Preis war das Buffet und vor allem die Qualität eine Enttäuschung, zumal noch nicht einmal Wasser, Tee oder Kaffee im Preis enthalten waren. Es gab nicht einmal genügend Salz und Pfefferstreuer für die Tische, so daß uns diese auf einem Kuchenteller in kleinen Papiertütchen gebracht wurden. Allerdings haben die beiden Servicekräfte sich wirklich Mühe gegeben.

Ist mir im Frühjahr zu groß, weil es zu der Jahreszeit nicht viel besucht wird. Ambiente naja Essen war sehr lecker

Leider hat uns der Besuch nicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt! Der Service wirke etwas unorganisiert und wir mussten auf Getränke und Bestellung etwas warten. Die Krabbensuppe vorweg war sehr dünn und zu intensiv mit nicht genau definierbaren Geschmack. Sahnehäubchen zerfallen und Krabben musste man suchen! Das Spezialität des Hause, Finkenwerder Scholle, hat ihrem Namen keine Ehre gemacht. Zu scharf und zu lange Angebraten und damit total trocken. Zu viel Salz auf dem Fisch kam auch noch dazu! Deko auf dem Teller war eher lieblos! Lediglich die Bratkartoffeln als Beilage waren gut! Beim Ambiente war der Toilettenbesuch ein sehr geruchsintensives unsaubere Erlebnis... "Flüssigkeit" stand auf dem Fußboden!

Wollten spontan Spargel essen und entschieden uns für dieses Restaurant. Bestellten dann Spargel, Salzkartoffeln, Sauce Hollandaise und zusätzlich Schinken. Leider sehr enttäuschend. Der Spargel war noch nicht ganz durchgegart, die Kartoffeln kalt, die Sauce extrem fade, aber der Schinken war mehr als eine Frechheit . Wurden gefragt, ob wir Katenschinken oder Kochschinken möchten. Entschieden uns für Katenschinken. Was dann kam waren 3 hauchdünne Scheiben GRAUER Bacon, der mit Katenschinken nichts zu tun hat .schon etwas älter und vertrocknet zu sein. Für diese Portion fast 30€ bezahlt, das geht gar nicht. Außerdem wurden dann auch noch falsche Getränke serviert. Schien schon

Ein Restaurant zum chillen und genießen. Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich - einfach perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Mittagstisch angenehme Portionen, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sauber und lecker. Sehr freundlich.

Ihr könntet euch und eurem Kellner oben auf der Fläche viel Stress ersparen, wenn ihr einfach ein Schild aufstellt, welcher Bereich offen ist. Außerdem die Kellner oben und unten Mal gleich verteilen. Der asiatische Kellner ackert oben allein wie ein Pferd, während für die zwei unten weniger los ist, keine Treppe und weniger Laufwege. Essen war gut. Die 2 Sterne beim Service sind für die Organisation, der Kellner hat 4 verdient.

Eine Tourismus falle ! Essen viel zu teuer 🫰 für die Qualität. Unwissendes Servicepersonal, bei Fragen der Speisekarte konnte uns keiner Antwort geben. Viel zu teuer, super Lage das Restaurant. Aber schade das die Qualität der Speisen wirklich nicht gut ist. Auf den Toiletten keine Seife oder Handtücher.

Sehr gutes Essen und schnelle Bedienung aber auch sehr gut zubereitet das Essen

Bei schönem Wetter ein schönes Ausflugsziel. Dierek am Finkenwerder Anlager. Die selbstgemachte Limonade ist sehr lecker. Das Esser ist gut. Die Preise...sind Okay. Wenn man auf der Oberen Terrasse am Wasser sitzt ist Selbstbestellung...... Man bekommt einen Piper der bescheid gibt wenn das Essen fertig ist. Im unteren Bereich ist mit Service. Das Essen ist das gleiche. Uns hat es gefallen und ist einen Ausflug Wert.

If you sit outside, you have a nice area with a relatively nice view of the Elbe. However, the menu is different than if you sit downstairs or inside. The restaurant's design is very cold and less appealing to me, but it's a comfortable place to sit and eat. The food is good.

We went there today to eat fish sandwiches. The snack stand wasn't open at the time. But the very friendly waitress got us the sandwiches we wanted anyway, thank you! They were delicious, fresh, and just right.

We're in town thanks to Harry Potter and were looking for something near the hotel. We ordered two Hamburg panfish dishes and one herring dish. You can't really go wrong with herring, but the rest was a disaster. The fish was served with fried potatoes and a Dijon mustard sauce. Unfortunately, everything was drenched in the sauce, which completely drained the flavor of the food, and the potatoes were completely mushy. The fish didn't come with any lemon, and it wasn't seasoned. And why? Well, the sauce wouldn't have been necessary.

I ate there today for the first time in a while. The positive aspects were the friendly service and short wait times; it simply wasn't very busy. The pan-fried fish I chose tasted absolutely fine, but the portion size was very meager for the price. In other fish restaurants, something like that would pass for a senior citizen, or even a child's menu.

So what kind of restaurant is this, that's terrible. I ate a pork steak that had no taste, croquettes but store-bought and only onions, no sauce, totally lifeless, the plate I can unfortunately only advise against

The location, right on the pier, is excellent. The service (an Asian man) was very friendly and prompt. Special requests were happily accommodated. The portions are rather small, for example, for one man. We also heard this from neighboring tables. The food was still good and tasty. Plaice for €27 with a handful of fried potatoes and no salad (just something green to decorate the plate – yellow-green parsley and a soft baby tomato) is quite something. The ambiance is dated. The restrooms are a major problem. Old fixtures, water constantly running onto the floor, cleanliness... Not wheelchair accessible!! The door only opens halfway, making it impossible with a walker or similar. No grab handles and veeery small restrooms. Plenty of outdoor seating for watching the ships. Parking is available.

Our out-of-town guests have always been enthusiastic about the plaice, but today it was bland and almost cold. The fish soup was a thin vegetable broth! The fish platter was no longer available at 1 p.m.... Whatever happened to this wonderful fish restaurant? Absolutely not recommended!

I'm a huge fan of this restaurant and always recommend it. But now, after a long time, I'm back and found a nice spot on the terrace, and then it's "self-service"? Sorry, I can't understand that. No matter what shitstorm comes next, I find it absolutely outrageous. I'll probably only come here when the weather is bad, sorry.

Passive-aggressive service. Whether that's why I didn't fully tolerate the food is anyone's guess.

You should definitely visit and eat there

An absolute must for us on every visit to Hamburg – taking the boat from the Landungsbrücken to Finkenwerder and eating plaice. But what happened here? On our visit on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was almost empty. The Finkenwerder plaice was not only very small but also quite tasteless. We certainly won't be going back to this restaurant anytime soon!

Very expensive, they're just taking advantage of the location. The chicken strips with the salad were already cold. I had to ask for the baguette, and then I got a cheap pre-baked baguette roll!

An absolute insider tip in Finkenwerder! I was completely thrilled with the Finkenwerder Landungsbrücken restaurant. The location right on the water is fantastic – with a magnificent view of the Elbe River and passing ships. Perfect for simply unwinding and enjoying the maritime atmosphere. The food was excellent: fresh, lovingly prepared, and with a regional touch. I especially recommend the Finkenwerder Scholle – simply divine! The service was also top-notch: friendly, attentive, and warm. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. A place to feel good – whether for lunch, coffee and cake, or a cozy dinner. I'll definitely be back! Thank you for the wonderful experience! 🌊🍽️✨

Disappointing: Fish soup in a small bowl with 1 mini mussel, 1 mini shrimp, a few pieces of fish, about 1.5 tablespoons of vegetables, and a faint fish flavor, all for €9.90.

I had eaten panfish, as a fried potato fan I was disappointed by the fried potatoes, many burnt thin potato slices and then to charge 23€ for this children's portion is a disgrace

Great restaurant with a very large beer garden and a great location on the water. Friendly staff.

The terrace is self-service, but offers a beautiful view of the Elbe River and the old customs house. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We were here on our motorcycle, and Finkenwerder is definitely worth a trip.

A very nice, spacious restaurant with a tasteful ambiance. My plaice was excellent, although you had to pay extra for the Finkenwerder-style bacon.

We were here on July 5, 2025, with a group of 10 people. We chose pan-fried fish and other dishes. Everything was excellent, and the service was super friendly. We would love to come back.

**We went to the beer garden - I can't comment on the quality of the food*** We took the HADAG ferry to Finkenwerder and stopped in the beer garden for a drink. The shandy tasted stale; the other drinks were okay. The self-service service was understandable for a beer garden; however, there were some weaknesses: the staff were more preoccupied with their phones than serving guests (and that was a self-service area!). The dish drop-off area was overcrowded - a feast for the ravens!

Unfriendly, rude, ignorant. Unfortunately, all we got was a wait and rude answers to polite questions. We left the restaurant.

Very nice ambience, very tasty food.

The waitress was prone to errors – possibly due to an intern – but this was "corrected" with humor and self-deprecation by an experienced waitress -> charming and entertaining! My godmother, among other things, didn't receive the dish she ordered, but found it so delicious that she didn't want to give it back.

The food was overpriced and simply not good. The potato salad was a mixture of mayo and a lot of mustard... the fish was almost undercooked. The beer was flat. The baguette that came with the salad was only brought upon request and was incredibly small. The wait times were long, and the dining room was cold. The iced chocolate came without a straw. Even paying took ages, even though the place wasn't full... All in all, not recommended.

The restaurant used to have a much more extensive menu, but now it's unfortunately very limited. The quality of the food was good, but the service was at times overwhelmed.

We were a group of 6 people. Two of us ordered only one drink, and two ordered coffee and cake. My wife and I, since we hadn't eaten anything else that day, each ordered a regular fish platter. The drinks and cake were served within the usual timeframe. After we'd finished our fish and coffee, we still hadn't received our fish! After about an hour, I asked the server, who was more absent than present in the dining room, when our food would finally arrive. She told me that we would have to wait a little longer, as they only had one (cooking?) plate available for preparing the fish, and other guests before us had also ordered fish! After I asked again 10 minutes later when our food would finally arrive, we were promised that our order was being processed and that she would bring the fish, which she did. Unfortunately, my salmon fillet was killed twice: once during the catch and the second time in the pan. The top part of the salmon fillet was completely dry due to overcooking, which the server confirmed even after I pointed out. In summary: According to our friends, the cake was tasty, but the food was rather below average, poor service, and poor time management when serving different dishes – we don't need THAT – there are much better places. What a waste of time.

The plaice was truly excellent. And the service was impeccable. We hadn't made a reservation in advance for two people. The young but extremely good waitress found a solution. If you don't know the restaurant, don't go. But the fish (and that's all we ate) was excellent.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food, on the other hand, was abysmal. Even though it was just the lunch menu, some salt and pepper should have been possible. The rice was still floating in water. The potatoes with the turkey didn't come with a drop of butter or sauce. You could also describe the whole thing as tasteless and unloving. Certainly not again.

Yes, we had a short stay there to take the harbor ferry. Everything was as expected...

The place is right next to the ferry and a bus station, very central, and has a large outdoor and indoor area. The server was friendly, but there were a few odd comments/innuendos here and there (like, 'I don't want to go to the table ten times, you decide.') Furthermore, the server didn't seem completely sober (confused/stoned?). The food, however, was plentiful and very tasty, so there wasn't much to complain about.

It's not a restaurant, but a ferry dock for various ferries, all of which can be used with the Hamburg network ticket. A day ticket costs 7.50. From here, you can go directly to Teufelsbrück or the Landungsbrücken in Hamburg.

We recently visited the Finkenwerder Landungsbrücke and sampled mainly fish dishes – and were absolutely not disappointed! The fish was fresh, excellently prepared, and of a very high standard of flavor. Whether classically fried or subtly seasoned – every dish was a delight. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the kitchen are particularly noteworthy. You can tell that the cooking here is done with experience and care. The restaurant's decor, however, is rather simple and seems a bit lackluster. We would have preferred a more harmonious ambiance that would do justice to the high quality of the food. A little more charm or maritime accents would certainly have rounded out the experience. Another disappointment was the long wait before we were even served. It really took a while for someone to take our order. That was a shame, because in such a good restaurant, you expect a certain level of attentiveness from the service. Despite these shortcomings, the food really impressed us, and we give it a well-deserved four stars. If you value excellent fish and can overlook minor service and ambiance issues, this is a great place to go. We'll definitely be back – hoping the service improves!

Was war denn hier heute los ? Oben auf der Terrasse keine Bedienung, stattdessen musste man an einem Container kaffee oder Speisen bestellen und mit Pager abholen. Unten und im Restaurant wurde bedient. Kaffee war nur lauwarm, dafür gab es einen Keks. Bisher wurde überall bedient, heute leider nicht, warum auch immer.
