Filetwerk - Menden in Menden (Sauerland)

We visited the Filetwerk yesterday and were impressed. The competent advice and delicious preparation are highly recommended if you don't want a run-of-the-mill burger. The seating was comfortable, too. We'll be back.

The burger was super delicious😋😋🍔🍔 The quality and taste of the meat is some of the best I've ever tasted. The price is very good compared to the food. The chef is super friendly and knows exactly what burger lovers want. I can 1000% recommend everyone to try it!😊😊

We were there on Sunday and would like to share a few points: 1. Pictures need updating: The photos on Google or the website no longer reflect the current state of the store. An update would be helpful. 2. Welcome was rather off-putting: As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with, "Expect an hour's wait, it's full." In fact, there were only four customers in the store, although some were apparently ordering delivery orders. It seemed a bit like they were trying to get rid of us. After a long drive, we decided to stay anyway. 3. Unpleasant odor: There was an unpleasant odor in one corner of the room, possibly from the cleaning cloth or another area. We moved seats. 4. Inexperienced service: A younger server was visibly overwhelmed. We don't want to judge this negatively—everyone has to learn, but a friendlier approach despite stressful situations would be desirable. 5. The food arrived in about 35 minutes, which was reasonable, but with only four customers in the restaurant, it took a bit longer. 6. Order: We had the Boom Burger, the Bang Burger, and chili cheese fries. 7. Food quality: The burgers were really good! Fresh, high-quality meat. A definite plus. 8. Hectic ambiance: During the meal, the restaurant was quite loud, not from the guests, but from the staff. The atmosphere was more reminiscent of a workshop than a restaurant. Conclusion: Three stars – solely for the burgers, which were really good. – 1 star deducted for the chaotic ambiance – 1 star deducted for the uninviting service Thanks anyway, there's a lot of potential here with a few improvements!

They have great hamburgers. The staff is very friendly. I recommend it to everyone. Hmmm, delicious.

I settled in Menden, Germany, for a week on business. I happened to come across a shop called Filetwerk, and its logo and name appealed to me. I ordered the BBQ bacon burger. The flavor and freshness made it clear it was a butcher shop. The fries were large, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The concept is very successful and has great potential to expand to other cities.

We ate truly excellent burgers. The fries were also great. Most importantly, we were greeted with polite hospitality and served wonderfully. Even though we were part of a larger group, everything was prepared without any mix-ups and in a reasonable amount of time. I was thoroughly impressed.

The best burger joint I know. Everything I've eaten there has always been unbeatable. I particularly recommend the smashed burger, the Philly cheese steak sandwich, and the loaded fries. But actually, everything is always incredibly delicious. If you haven't been there yet, you absolutely have to try it.

Always a culinary delight, and I'm happy to drive 40 minutes for it. The price is great, and the burgers and fries are hot. I highly recommend it. For a good burger, I highly recommend it.

The burgers 🍔 were very tasty 😋, as were the homemade fries - jalapenò cheese, but unfortunately they were cold. So the price, €40 including tip, for 2 burgers 🍔 + fries 🍟 & a Fritz-Kola, are too expensive. 🙈

Ate at the store and what can I say, had the best Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich ever!! The owner was also super nice and started talking. We'll definitely be going there again!!

We were alone in the store and the waitress asked us if she should come back straight away. We answered in the affirmative and after 15 minutes and multiple calls we left because we didn't see anyone.

Ordered for the first time today and definitely not the last time. The pre-order and delivery went smoothly. The burgers and fries were warm, almost hot. Everything tasted good, which is of course the most important thing.

If there were zero stars... Order arrived cold after 2 hours and 2 calls. This was blamed on me over the phone because I ordered via Lieferando and shouldn't be surprised that it was complicated.

We've been here a total of 3 times and can absolutely recommend EVERY burger. Crispy chicken, cheeseburgers and hamburgers have already been tried. 🫶🏽 Danger! Don't be fooled by the opening times on the door - these are the opening times of the old butcher's shop. On Saturdays they stay open past 4 p.m.! 👌🏽

Menus totally good, choice between 120 and 200 gr burgers. Fries very seasoned and more like wedges. All the burgers we ordered were really good. Chili cheese fries were CHILI cheese fries, they burned just by looking at them. Price-performance ratio 1a, next time in Menden we will order again 👍🏻

The meat and the freshly prepared burgers are fabulous and the quality is very high, you can taste it with every bite. Always worth a visit.

The fillet work is an absolute asset to Menden, you could already tell that. The burgers are an absolute hit and if we were in Cologne, the Filetwerk would also put the fat cow or the Beef Brothers in our pockets. The Philly Cheesesteak is an insider tip and authentic, better than most cheesesteaks I've had in the US. The owner family is super nice, always available for small talk and extremely customer oriented. Please support this store, it doesn't get any better.

Unfortunately delivery time was just under 2.5 hours. (Ordered at 6:30 p.m., announced for 8 p.m., delivered at 8:45 p.m.). After asking about my order over the phone, the owner gave the “tip” that pickup would always be possible much faster - within 15-20 minutes. Of course, you ask yourself whether you, as a delivery customer, are a second-class customer. The burger and fries were ok, but unfortunately the patties were pretty “fried” and correspondingly dry. Unfortunately not recommended due to the unacceptably long delivery time, the dry patties and the owner's reaction on the phone.

Grass-fed beef says it all, what more could you want 😍 the burgers are so delicious and the chicken burger is the best we know, such a juicy thick piece of meat. We like to drive from Hagen to Menden to get something to eat from you. Keep it up! Quality is simply top!

With all the 5 star reviews, I expected more when ordering. Unfortunately the smashed burger was anything but smashed, the patty was as thick as a normal burger. But taste good.

Burgers are like music, everyone likes them differently. We took veal sausages and lamb shanks with us. The knuckles were great. The sausages were expensive but not a revelation. We will continue testing. Tried the 2nd package of veal sausages today. Grilled this time. Never had such tasteless sausages in my life. The intestine was almost impossible to cut. 5 sausages for 12€, I can expect more.

After some really excellent burger orders that were always fresh, hot, tasty and delivered quickly despite Sundays or public holidays, we bought fresh meat there for the first time to grill at the weekend. Despite the stress of preparing for the upcoming sales day, the welcome was very friendly and courteous. The advice was great and as it later turned out when we prepared and consumed the products, the recommendations were exactly to our taste. The meat is really of outstanding quality. Would be happy to be a customer in this business again at any time

We regularly get our grilled meat from the fillet factory and today we tried the burger. Very tasty, juicy and prepared with a lot of love. Delivery was flawless and the driver was also very nice. I give the team more than 5 stars, thank you for being here in Menden.

I have ordered there many times and have always been satisfied. I wanted to do something good for my mom, so I ordered it for us and what we got is absolutely cheeky for the price. The burger smelled funny and it tasted the same. The bun was completely mashed together and I had no idea what was going on with the meat. If I had to describe it, the meat tasted very musty. We ate it anyway because we were hungry because we hadn't eaten anything all day... Well now my mom will probably never trust me again if I tell her to order something that I know is good. It was also the last time I ordered there. If I'm going to pay that price, I want something for the money and since I'm no longer certain that something good will happen, I can leave it alone. Anyway, a new shop recently opened and it's good. Although there are no fries, I can also make them myself :) Addition from February 29, 2024 We were in the mood for a burger and because we had just ordered from a competitor and I had completely forgotten that my last experience here was unfortunately very disappointing, even though we were used to really good burgers, we decided on Filetwerk again today after a long time . My friend was very excited about the new products and chose a smashed burger. Unfortunately, since I'm very picky about certain foods, I ordered a cheeseburger with a 200 gram patty, but only with pickles, patty and cheddar. I had actually ordered extra bbq sauce, which was unfortunately missing, but that wasn't a big deal as I just used our mayonnaise (it tastes good too, I make it often). I asked for my patty to be medium rare in the special requests if they made it and at first I thought it would be half-baked and then that it was way too well done for my taste, but no, I got a really tasty burger. Unfortunately the meat doesn't melt like butter like it did back then, but it still exceeded my expectations. Delivery time was a little longer than stated, which is something we were used to completely differently, but sometimes good things take time. I'm already looking forward to the next time. 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. But all in all very tasty. And thank you for the little attention. My friend told me the delivery person said it was because of the last order, but we only realized what he meant when I was about to write a review and saw that I had recently submitted a review. Very attentive and obviously happy to give customers a good experience.🫶🏻

incredibly tasty burgers with juicy and really good meat without the usual bits of fat or gristle

We ordered online from Lendringsen (4km away from the fillet factory). The burgers and fries arrived in a reasonable time in unprinted and uncoated boxes. Everything was warm and crispy. The bun wasn't like usual, more like Chiabatta. The patties were medium rare, extremely juicy and very tasty - just like everything else. These were by far the best burgers we have ever eaten! We think the price is reasonable in the price-performance comparison to MC and King. The fries appear to be homemade and are strongly seasoned. No standard taste here either, very tasty. I like it with a little more spice but for some it might be a bit too much. This might be a tiny point to note.

We happened to be nearby. The burgers are really mega and can only be recommended. The boss likes to talk a lot, but I found it very pleasant, not the dead silence like in other stores. Keep it up, we'll take the longer drive again for a burger like this.

Ich war am Donnerstag das erste Mal da, bin eingefleischter Burger Fan. Habe nicht gedacht das es noch eine Geschmackssteigerung gibt. Aber, wow, was für eine Geschmacksexplosion. Hier schmeckt man Qualität, mit Liebe hergestellt. Danke dafür. @filetwerk, konnte Freitag leider nicht zum Filetsandwich kommen, wird aber nachgeholt, versprochen.

Heute das erste mal probiert und es war sehr lecker, nettes Personal und ein sehr ordentlicher Bzw. hygienischer laden. Der Burger war saftig und die Pommes von außen knusprig und von innen weich. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.

Als leidenschaftlicher Fleischliebhaber besuche ich regelmäßig das Filetwerk in Menden, und ich bin jedes Mal begeistert! Neulich habe ich auf Empfehlung des Inhabers ein 750g Clubhouse Steaks mitgenommen. Zu Hause angekommen ca. 2 Stunden Sous-vide gegart und im Beefer perfektioniert und für die perfekte Kruste heiß angeröstet, bietet es einen unglaublichen Geschmack und eine zarte Textur. Die Burger im Filetwerk sind zweifellos die besten in Menden! Saftige Patties, frische Zutaten und butterweiche Brioche Brötchen machen sie zu einem wahren Genuss. Auch das Philly Cheese Steak ist eine absolute Empfehlung Wert. Die Kombination aus zartem Rindfleisch, geschmolzenem Käse und perfekt abgestimmten Gewürzen ist eine Geschmacksexplosion. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam, und die gesamte Erfahrung im Filetwerk ist einfach großartig. Hier findet man qualitativ hochwertiges Fleisch, perfekt zubereitete Speisen und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Vielen Dank für die konstant großartige Erfahrung. Ich komme immer wieder gerne zurück!

Ich hatte gestern das Cheeseburger Menü mit der hausgemachten Sauce für die Pommes bestellt. Ich kam leider erst 30 Minuten später zum Essen und trotzdem war das Essen noch unglaublich lecker und die Wedges knusprig. 5 Sterne von mir!

Das Essen ist super! Der Preis ist etwas teurer, aber bei der Qualität bezahl ich sowas gerne! 😂 Das liefern klappt auch immer sehr gut! 👍 Leider wurde mir letztens eine falsche Bestellung letztens geliefert. Aber nach dem ich dort angerufen habe, wurde mir direkt die Bestellung neu gemacht. Ich musste dann nichts erneut/dazu zahlen. Sogar mit einem "Sorry :) ♡" auf der tüte.🥰😂 Nur zu empfehlen!! 💪

Das Fleisch ist von bester Qualität, zart und von exzellentem Geschmack. Es ist deutlich spürbar, dass hier echte Experten am Werk sind, die ihr Handwerk verstehen. Die Burger sind auch ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus.Der Laden ist eine Bereicherung für Menden!

Schmeckt einfach megaa dort, war heute mit einer Freundin dort essen und wurden total lieb bedient und herbe witzig unterhalten. Ehrlich Top Preise für diese Qualität an Essen, man schmeckt direkt raus, dass alles frisch zubereitet wird.

Der beste Burger in Menden und Umgebung. Qualität wird hier groß geschrieben. Der Burger war sehr frisch und das Fleisch aus der hauseigenen Metzgerei, da weiß man, was in seinem Burger drin ist. Kein günstiges TK-Patty wie so oft in anderen Läden. Der Chef ist sehr freundlich. Preis/Leistung ist fair. Hier werde ich definitiv öfter hinkommen und kann es jedem empfehlen, der Hunger auf ein Burger mit guter Qualität hat.

Bester Burger seit langer langer Zeit. Sehr gut gebratenes Fleisch, leckere frische Zutaten und perfekte Menge Soße. Von A bis Z perfekt. Genauso wie die Pommes. Während der Wartezeit noch ein nettes Gespräch mit dem Chef gehalten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ich mag keine Burger. Ich liebe Burger! Egal wo ich bin: ein Burger muss her. Ich habe viele gegessen, in verschiedenen Städten und Ländern, aber manchmal muss man gar nicht weit reisen, denn das Team von Filetwerk macht einen ziemlich guten Job. Ich wäre nun bereit die Karte rauf und runter zu testen 😋.

Burger und Pommes sind die Besten der Stadt. Auch das angebotene Fleisch und die fachliche Beratung einfach klasse. Und die angebotenen Saucen sind auch spitze. Aber Qualität kostet halt.
