Ich war hier auf einem Tagesausflug mit meinen Friends. Ich hatte einen Seitan Döner, der mega lecker (und groß) war! Es war alles vegan und es hätte sogar Eis gegeben, wenn ich nicht schon zu satt gewesen wäre :)

Leckeres Essen ohne Kompromisse eingehen zu müssen, schneller und sehr freundlicher Service.

Es gibt richtig geiles veganes Food und die Sticker sind einfach nur top 👍🏻

Wir waren heute ganz spontan im Festgebissen. Burger, Pommes und Sauce waren so lecker. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier essen.

Wir haben das Lokal kürzlich besucht und beurteile die Erfahrung aus der Perspektive von Personen, die sich seit Langem vegan ernähren und mit dem möglichen Geschmack und der Qualität pflanzlicher Küche vertraut sind. Leider entsprachen die Speisen und der Service nicht unseren Erwartungen. ​Service und Ambiente: Die Lautstärke der Musik war für ein entspanntes Essen unangemessen hoch. Die Musik selbst, lasse ich hier außen vor. Das Personal trat bei der Bestellannahme nicht besonders freundlich und wenig serviceorientiert auf, was den Gesamteindruck negativ beeinflusste. ​Qualität der Speisen: Unsere Gerichte (Kebab Teller mit Pommes) bestanden aus einem Salat mit nur zwei Tomatenscheiben und einem Seitan-Anteil, der labbrig und lauwarm und übermäßig fettig serviert wurde. Auch die Beilagen waren handwerklich mangelhaft: Die Pommes waren entweder verbrannt oder stark mit Fett vollgesogen. Die angebotene Knoblauch und Kräuter-Soße wies ebenfalls eine ungenießbare, fettige Konsistenz auf. ​Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Aufgrund der mangelhaften Qualität der Zutaten und der lieblosen Zubereitung ist die Preisgestaltung nicht gerechtfertigt. Als jemand, der die Möglichkeiten und den Geschmack guter veganer Küche kennt, empfanden wir dieses Angebot als unterdurchschnittlich.

Gutes Essen, nette Bedienung und schöner Laden. Der Saitan Gyros Teller mit Fritten sowie der Scherze Burger mit Fritten - beides mit leckerer Knoblauchsauce, waren sehr köstlich. Wir waren zu Besuch in Jena und merken uns Festgebissen fürs nächste Mal!

Ich habe festgebissen für ein Catering für die Arbeit gebucht mit 3 verschiedenen Burgern und einer Gyros Pfanne inklusive Dips. Es waren alle begeistert, auch wenn meine Kollegen nicht die sonst übliche Zielgruppe eines veganen Restaurants sind - das spricht also für die tolle Qualität! Die Kommunikation war auch super, schnell und unkompliziert - danke nochmal dafür ☺️ Auch der Seiten Kebab sucht Seinesgleichen und ist einer der besten veganen Döner die ich je gegessen habe.

Ich LIEBE dieses Restaurant. Alles auf der Karte ist ultra lecker und die Mitarbeiter sind alle absolute Herzchen.

Sehr sehr gut aber man sollte nicht zu Stoßzeiten kommen. Das Essen ist sehr beliebt weswegen die Zubereitung zu Stoßzeiten etwas dauern kann. Wenn nichts los list bekommt man den besten veganen Cheeseburger Jenas innerhalb von 5 minuten

Die Preise sind sehr fair und das Essen war mega. Die Zutaten unseres Burgers waren frisch und auch die Pommes haben sehr lecker geschmeckt. Es ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Am Wochenende ist nicht immer geöffnet…

Wir waren kürzlich dort und haben den BBQ Smash und den Big Smiley Smash probiert – beide waren einfach köstlich! Die Burger waren saftig, geschmackvoll und perfekt zubereitet. Auch die Salate waren frisch, schön angerichtet und sehr lecker. Man merkt, dass sie hochwertige Zutaten verwenden. Das Ambiente war ebenfalls toll – ein schöner Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen. Insgesamt ein wirklich gelungenes Erlebnis. Absolut empfehlenswert! 👍

BBQ Smash, Big Spicy Smash und klassischer Salat. Alles schmeckt sooo lecker 🫶🏻 Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und freundlicher Service.

Der Seitankebab ist der absolute Hammer. Man muss ein wenig Zeit mitbringen, aber des Ergebnis ist einfach nur richtig lecker. Wir kommen gern hierher.

Leckere vegane Speisen zu einem guten Preis, freundlicher Service… wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Sehr lecker, aber die Geschwindigkeit ist leider unterirdisch. Bereits bis man die Möglichkeit hat zu bestellen bekommt vergehen 2 kleine Ewigkeiten und die Zubereitung ist dann auch etwas mehr Zeit einzuplanen. Zwischendurch kommen die Leute zum abholen - natürlich prioritär bedient. Wie sagte Stromberg: "Als ich hier ankam hatte ich noch volles Haar." Ich weiß nicht ob ich es uneingeschränkt empfehlen würde.

Das Essen wurde zügig zubereitet und hat 10 Minuten nach Abholung auch sehr lecker geschmeckt.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal mit meiner Freundin hier, nachdem wir schon einige Jahre in Jena wohnen. Schade, dass wir diesen Ort nicht schon früher entdeckt haben! Das Essen ist superlecker, es gibt so viele verschiedene Fleischalternativen, man kann sie mit Brot oder mit Salat oder Kartoffeln bestellen. Die Preise sind sehr fair und das Ambiente modern und stilvoll. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kleiner Vorschlag: Hausgemachte Limonaden oder besondere Cocktails wären toll!

Absolut top. Super lecker, eine wahre Bereicherung für die Zwätzengasse.

Sehr geil, dass die neuen Ribs sogar glutenfrei (glutenarm) sind! Aber letztes Mal waren sie leider ausverkauft. Ich finde das Sojagyros leider viel zu ölig, gerade wenn man kein Brot dazu nimmt, ist das Öl zu viel:/ sonst ist es echt lecker! Danke für den veganen Laden, der auch ein wenig an die glutenfreien denkt😊

Ich hatte das Spare Ribs Menü vor Ort. Es ging schnell und das Personal war freundlich. Leider war die Spare Ribs Beilagen ratio sehr schlecht und ich hatte nur wenig von den Ribs. Die Soßen und der allgemeine Geschmack waren mega. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen.

Also der chickenburger in Veggie war einfach „nur“ sehr gut, aber die spareribs wirklich ein hochgenuss und dem tierlichen Produkt in nichts nachstehend! Danke für diese Erfahrung!

Clear menu, clean shop with decent seating, friendly staff, and quick preparation, very fair prices, and generous portions. My wrap catapulted me straight to vegan gyro heaven. Love!

This is what vegan food should and should taste like 💕 I had the incredibly delicious seitan kebab plate. Next time I'm in Jena, I'll definitely support Festbissen again. Because this kind of quality can't be compared to any kebab shop that serves vegan pita. I'm already looking forward to my next visit 💕

We're just passing through. Since my son is vegetarian, we were looking for a place to have dinner and found it. My son had the Classic Chicken Burger, and I had the spare ribs with Classic Fries. We were both thrilled. We haven't had such a good meat-free meal in a long time. The place was incredibly packed, with a line stretching out into the street. The two employees were super friendly the whole time, had a smile for every new customer, and, in my opinion, were absolutely on top of things. Ordering was super quick considering the place was so busy. We ate there with a drink from the freestanding refrigerator. We were completely satisfied, super full, and happy to return to the hotel. If we're ever in Jena again, we'll definitely come back. All the best.

Best vegan fast food in all of Jena.

A small but nice vegan restaurant, the selection is limited but sufficient, the food was very good and prepared quickly.

I went out to eat with friends. The chicken-style burger was delicious and fresh. Considering it was my first vegan experience, I was very impressed. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was prepared quickly, even when the crowds were busy. Keep up the good work, I'll be back.

Holy moly, that was delicious! I haven't had such good vegan food in a long time. I found the place through Happycow because I was planning a trip to Jena and wanted to eat something vegan on short notice, and I was definitely pleasantly surprised. We had the nuggets, gyro plate, and no-chicken in bread. Very good substitutes and sauces, and they didn't skimp on the sauce either. I'll definitely be back!

I left after only half an hour because the food wasn't ready. The response to my question was very passive-aggressive. Returning my money was no problem. It made a difference who you ordered from. Some people were served, others weren't. I can't say anything about the food, since I never got any. It's a shame; I was really hungry.

The food was simply a 10 out of 10. It was my first time eating a completely vegan meal in a restaurant, and I can only recommend it. The service was great, the staff very friendly, and the food simply delicious. Just try it, see for yourself, and recommend it to others.

I had the vegan Gyros. It was cold served and didn't resemble much of what Gyros usually feels like when eating. I found the quality of the food not worth the money. My friend and I felt heavy hours after. I will not go there a second time.

Everything's great, but: Guys, the fries are really not good. Both the type (they're just standard frozen fries like you'd get at the supermarket) and the frying time need to be adjusted.

There's not much to say. It's a really cool place. Highly recommended.

Cute little restaurant with a small but fine selection, so far I've enjoyed everything there. The Seitan kebab is the best and isn't too dry either. The tables inside are a bit small, but the atmosphere in the restaurant is harmonious. Card payment is also no problem

Yesterday I went to Festgebissen for the first time and was totally thrilled. Since I have little knowledge of vegan food, I was given very good advice and ordered a burger. It was super tasty. Many thanks to the warm service, which made me feel very comfortable. I'll definitely come back.

I really like going there, the staff are very friendly and the ambience is nice. I've tried a few dishes now and the ingredients were always very fresh and tasty. The sauces are handmade and also very tasty.

Very nice exclusively vegetarian selection. A mixture of kebab and fries happiness. Young operators. Small area to eat on site. We were very satisfied.

Rarely can I have such good experiences. Everything is right here! The food is very tasty, the location is pleasant and, very important to me: the staff is very friendly, accommodating and simply great! This lunchtime I arrived very close to closing time, both employees were already busy with tidying up and cleaning the kitchen, but without hesitation or losing their good mood, they immediately started preparing my food, so that I was in a good mood the whole day! Bought a Seitan Kebab yesterday during a day trip to Jena. Very tasty, very large portion :), friendly service.

Very solid, freshly prepared vegan fast food. Sometimes the meat substitutes are no longer quite hot and the bread is not as crispy (this varies depending on the person preparing it). You could pay more attention to this.

Four of us ate at this fantastic restaurant today. We were served very nicely and we are still raving about the food. We had the gyros plate with a variety of sauces and the cheeseburger. Quote from a friend: “That was one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten.” Unfortunately we don't live in Jena, but when we are here again, the “Festgebissen” will be a planned highlight.

As a clueless non-vegetarian, I wanted to give it a try. The service seemed annoyed/disinterested. I then quickly decided on a citizen, who was quite ok. My friends were satisfied, but I'm sure they also know what's on offer.

UPDATE 01/30/2024: Thank you for your answer. It works via Uber Eats, but not by phone. So it's "modern" to pay 11.50 EUR for a dish on Uber Eats instead of 7 EUR in the restaurant and to give up your own data to an American company, just so that the order comes to you via American servers instead of simply locally by phone to be processed? 4.50 EUR surcharge just so I can order in advance? Sorry, but that's a bad joke and an absolute own goal. This approach somehow doesn't quite fit with the values ​​you would expect from a vegan shop with punk rock in the restaurant. ______________ Orders are not accepted over the phone because it is “unfair” to the queue in the store. That's nonsense, because I'm not asking for preferential treatment. I don't have a problem waiting, so I'll just call an hour earlier. But apparently you're just too lazy or too disorganized to process a list of telephone orders. Instead, I'm supposed to stand in line at the store for 20 minutes (or more) on my limited lunch break to wait for my food. Maybe the queue wouldn't be so long if you could order by phone. To eat: I consumed a soy gyros wrap with peanut sauce and it tasted very good. Delicious meat substitute and fresh-looking dough with plenty of salad. I also got full, so I think the price of 7 euros is reasonable.

A great vegan shop. Has a small but fine selection (burgers, fries, nuggets, currywurst, salads, kebabs...) and is solidly priced, especially for purely vegan dishes. It's more designed for take-away food (like Fritz Mitte) but you can also eat there. 😇
