Best restaurant in Kitzingen, the food is amazing... and the service was really nice... the waiters were sooooo

I was there for the first time today; overall, the atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the service was friendly. The location, right at the top amidst the fields, is okay, but I think if you can sit outside on the terrace when the weather is nice, you'll have a fantastic view of the city.

Good, inexpensive food. Some of the furniture and windows are broken here and there. The view is simply unbeatable. It was a shame the waitress didn't pack my bread and rice with the leftovers.

There are two signs in the village pointing to the Felsenkeller. At the end of the village, there are no more signposts; you drive there along country roads between fields, wondering if you're really on the right track. The advantage there: no through traffic, and a fantastic view. There were 21 of us. Unfortunately, the waitress couldn't remember a single drink, but it was still easy to figure out who ordered what. When it came to the food, it was a bit more confusing. Perhaps the selection is simply too large. The wait was a bit long, but reasonable, and the food was really fresh and piping hot. Since I'm not familiar with Indian food, I played it safe and chose tortellini with spinach filling in a mushroom and cheese sauce. Fantastically delicious. The portion looked small at first glance, but I was already stuffed after half. The others all had Indian food and were equally enthusiastic about it. Kudos for not throwing us out. Despite opening hours until 10 p.m., we were there until 11:30 p.m.

The food was more than poor for the money. Ordered a schnitzel. The quality was like a ready-made schnitzel from Aldi. I wouldn't order it again for the money.

Absolutely no-go! I made a reservation for 12 people by phone on September 16th, and on the day of the reservation, Saturday September 20th, the door was locked. Supposedly due to water damage. That's completely unacceptable.

Very delicious food, pizza and Indian! The people there are so nice and accommodating – genuine and not pretentious. Six of us were there today, and everyone loved it! Update from September 25 We were back here after a long absence. The food was still good, unfortunately, like everywhere else: smaller portions, higher prices. The service, which has always been very good here, was unfortunately nowhere to be seen. There were very few people in the restaurant, and we still waited forever for someone to come. Nobody even stopped by when our glasses were empty. We would have liked to order another drink and dessert, but then decided against it. A new owner? The name and menus have changed.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza (for pickup)...got a pizza with ham, even though the bill actually says pepperoni!! That's why I didn't look inside, but when you order, you assume it's okay. ...and €17 for a pizza you didn't want is pretty cheeky...a 100% error rate for an order. Bravo!

The restaurant may be a bit dated, but the food and view are excellent. The terrace fills up quickly in good weather.

I was invited to this restaurant for a party. Dinner was supposed to start at 7:00 PM, but the appetizers arrived at 8:30 PM. They weren't the ones scheduled, and the quantities and food were different from those requested on the day of the event. Furthermore, the main course (a second course) was very salty, almost inedible, and always in minimal quantities. The owner was aggressive with the guests when they pointed this out. The entire dinner was already paid for in full in advance. A terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend it!

Terrible experience!!! 😡😡😡 We organized a party at this "place." We had agreed on a buffet appetizer and then a main course. We paid for dinner in advance, only for the food, obviously. We had requested a buffet for 25 people, even though there were 20 of us, the quantity of food was extremely poor, not to mention the quality. Many items were missing from the buffet, and it was mostly just salad 🥗. We had requested the buffet for 7:00 PM, but they served it at 8:30 PM. Then they made us wait until 10:30 PM for the main course (if you can call it that), which was incredibly salty and almost inedible. When we complained, the owner started getting aggressive! He even yelled at us to shut up!!! HOWEVER, HAVING SAID THAT, IT WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!!!!!!

Wonderful Indian food, good service, and of course, a great, sweeping view....

The food is really very good. Unfortunately, the service wasn't the best. Even though it was quiet, no one came to ask if we needed any drinks, so it lost a star. We sat outside. It could be a bit nicer. Maybe they could wipe down the tables before guests arrive.

Great family-run restaurant. The waitress and chef also responded very professionally to special requests and conjured up a great meal. We come here very often and frequently. A wonderful view of the city of Kitzingen and Main. The food is very varied, from Italian, German to Indian!

Italy meets India in Franconia. The "Felsenkeller", which is unfortunately already a bit outdated, still impresses with its beautiful view over the roofs of Kitzingen. The Bella Vista restaurant offers a successful mix of Italian and Indian specialties. We were greeted in a super friendly manner and the service was also quick and friendly. The restaurant is very family-friendly and also caters to special requests for the youngest. The food was very tasty and, as usual, everything was available at the table so you could season it to your own taste. (sharpen) --> the chilly oil should be enjoyed with caution but is a must for the curries <-- There are enough parking spaces in front of the house. Main course prices are in the midfield between €12-20 (EC payment possible) If you want a nice evening for two or a nice meal with the family, you've come to the right place and everyone will find what they're looking for. Will definitely come back.

We were here on New Year's Eve and had a great evening! The air was a bit stuffy because of the crowds, but the service was great - the waiters were very attentive and friendly. The food was incredibly tasty, fresh and made with high quality ingredients. The prices are absolutely reasonable. We'd love to come back!

ATTENTION: The food is very tasty and ordinary. BUT if you have to pay €19.90 for a pizza at Christmas instead of €9.90 (justification w/ Christmas surcharge) that's a rip-off for me. Oh and card payment wasn't possible that evening either...

We have eaten here several times now and are pleasantly surprised. The Italian restaurant sign is confusing for an Indian 😅but you shouldn't let this unsettle you. The food is very generous 👌which often causes problems with getting the plates empty for starters and main courses 🤪 The prices are really reasonable.

A beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view. We came here to eat with Schlemmerblock, without which we would never have thought of it. The prices are okay, but unfortunately the service could hardly speak any German. All in all, recommended, we would be happy to come back.

We were at Bella Vista for lunch as a private group. There was a buffet that was agreed upon in advance. All the dishes were very tasty and very appetizingly prepared. The food was always replenished in the buffet. As always, the service was great and very warm! Absolute recommendation.

We like to be here often. Strongly recommended to choose an Indian meal, it is particularly delicious! There is also European food, which is fine too. The service is now very good and friendly. The operator is an Indian team. What particularly stands out is the view over Kitzingen.

On my last visit I had the giant tortelini - a disaster! The dumplings were still half raw, the sauce was overheated in the microwave - so the oil flocculated and sprinkled with dill (presumably instead of parsley). It was served by an Indian who didn't speak German - so criticism was pointless. Today a new attempt: The pizza was very good, but the service! I gave up on a second beer after about 20 minutes of waiting. I then carried half the pizza that I wanted to take with me to the counter and paid for it there. The pizza slices were slapped topping on topping and wrapped in aluminum foil. In the future without me...

I ate Indian food here. Some of our family had pizzas. Pana cotta and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was very good . I would love to come back with my family!

We were a little surprised to find Indian dishes on the menu, but we ordered them straight away. The two dishes were very tasty and of good quality. The service was good. The prices are usual.

We were looking for an alternative to the Greek and were pleasantly surprised. The food is very good. I recommend everyone to eat there.

Wonderful location, whether inside or outside. Service excellent. Very polite accommodating staff. Unfortunately the food wasn't that satisfying, as it only got 2 points. We had pizza, lasagna, cream schnitzel, Kitzinger plate. All in all very cautious. There was almost no meat in the lasagna, there was a lot of fat in the cream schnitzel and there were 7 pieces in the Kitzinger plate. Otherwise very heavy food. A pity.

Everything is 5 stars, unfortunately there are no more stars, otherwise a straight 10 for me. This weekend, as mother of the bride, I was able to enjoy this location, as well as the food, hospitality and service. Everything was perfect. I can only recommend the restaurant. I'm still excited.

Traumhaft schöne Lage. Essen: Steak, na ja eben gummiartig, wer's mag. Pommes perfekt. - Außenbereich: Sicherheit besonders für ältere Semester recht problematisch, keine Geländer zum Festhalten an den Treppen. Ein Baumstamm am Rande nicht fachgerecht durch eingeklemmte Stemmeisen gehalten. Aber alle sehr freundlich und schnell.

Wonderful view over Kitzingen, there is also a large terrace. We had a mixed selection of food: pizza, a stir-fry, pasta and Indian dishes. Everything was excellent and arrived at our table very quickly. The online reservation was also very spontaneous and worked very well.

We came on Sunday just before half past two and asked if we could get anything to eat. We received friendly service, the view is great, everything was very clean. Had Indian and Italian food, very attractively prepared and tasted good. We hope that the Bella Vista rock cellar will be visited by more guests again. Recommended!

We were here for late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the food as well as the service! Interesting combination of Italian and Indian food. Great view over the river Main. Can definitely recommend the Bella Vista Pizza with cheese stuffed crust. Friendly staff handled our order quick and uncomplicated. Large parking in front of the restaurant.

Sehr leckere Gerichte, aufmerksamer Service und angemessene Preise. Tolle Aussicht über Kitzingen

Dieses Location gibt es schon ewig. Nach langer Zeit wollten wir wieder mal dort zum Essen gehen und sehen wie die Location ist. Leider war das Wetter nicht so schön um sich nach draußen zu setzen. Hier auf der Terasse die einige Ebenen bietet hat man einen wunderschönen unverbauten Blick auf das fränkische Mainland. Direkt unterhalb liegt Kitzingen mit seinem Flair. Links davon das Gewerbegiebiet mit seinen Gebäuden, die den Ausblick etwas schmälern. Das Bella Vista verfügt über genügend Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Die Parkplätze sind geschottert. Am Parkplatz zum Eingang befindet sich ein Aushangkasten mit der Speisekarte. Hier werden italienische und indische Speisen angeboten. Wir entschieden uns für indisch und italienisch. Die Gerichte werden in landestypischen Tellern und Gefäßen angeboten und sind geschmacklich wirklich einzigartig. Bei unserem Besuch war die Gaststätte sehr stark frequentiert, so das wir im Nebenraum einen Platz angeboten bekamen. Nach der Getränkebestellung wurde ein Platz im Wintergarten frei, den wir dann vom Kellner zugeteilt bekamen, eine feine Geste. Von hier hatte man einen sehr guten Blick auf den Main. Wirklich ein Lokal das man empfehlen kann und sehr gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen serviert.

Der beste Inder in der Umgebung! Super leckeres Essen, sehr nette Bedienungen und die Aussicht im Sommer über den Main und die Stadt ist phänomenal!

Wir waren zu zweit hatten Linsensuppe und Tomatensuppe als Vorspeise. Die Linsen püriert geschmacklos und ein einziger Brei. Die Tomatensuppe ein Fertigprodukt das nur nach Tomatenmark schmeckte. Kichererbsencurry gut, Chicken Masals eine einzige Katastrophe. Tomaten aus der Dose mit Ingwer und Knoblauch, mehr war da leider nicht. Fleisch aber zumindest gut gegart. Der Reis lieblos mit auf dem Teller, genauso wie der Tütensalat mit Fertigdressing. Für dieses Preisniveau nicht zumutbar. Service war bemüht, aber nicht mehr. Ambiente schön, aber man sollte schauen das zumindest mal gekehrt wird. Essensreste unter den Tischen. Schade, wir kommen wohl nicht noch einmal.
