Fatih’s Kebap in Aachen

Wow, that was the worst doner kebab of my life. The meat was half-raw and crumbled; the quality needs to be officially checked. I threw away the €9 XL doner after a few bites.

Very friendly staff. We came from Holland and ate at Lamberts. Afterwards we were hungry. It was a good choice. We'd gladly come again.

I had to throw away a doner kebab for the first time in my life. With every bite, there were strange pieces of meat that were simply impossible to chew. A total disappointment.

Yeah, I was so happy that my friend brought me a page of Fatih's vouchers. I went there right away, since fast food prices have almost doubled since 2024, so I could finally treat myself to a kebab again. Vouchers are really great because they give you a 50% discount when you buy, say, two kebabs (for €7), and they're valid until October 30th. Arrived: "No, the voucher says: If you buy two kebabs for €14, you get the third one free." Ah, right? And how could I have known that? According to §5 of the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG), this is misleading advertising. I uploaded the voucher – see for yourself. I felt very "cheated." I complained about it. What was the response? "I don't care," the boss said. Then I wanted to pay for my alternative order with my card. Ha! Card reader broken. Of course. So I had to leave the Coke there to be able to pay. That was the last time I went there for a long time. Fair to the quality of the kebab: The first two-thirds were particularly tasty, but later on, the rest was unfortunately so greasy that even the bread didn't know what to put it in. I like the vegetables, but I had to choose the chicken because it was browner, and I didn't feel like eating gray, sloppy veal.

Just been there... I can't recommend it... We wanted lentil soup, rice with cream sauce, a pizza, and böreks. It started with them saying they supposedly didn't have any pizza, and then they took the rest of our order, only to repeat the order a few minutes later to tell another colleague that they had neither lentil soup nor cream sauce. And as if that wasn't enough... half the böreks were bad, because the filling resembled cheese and they weren't warmed up anyway... And what made me even angrier was when they pointed out to me that a friend had gotten a pizza half an hour or an hour earlier and told me that no one there wanted to make pizza in the evening/at night... Well, all I can say is, great job, especially when you're open until 5 a.m. One star is already too much!

Superb, delicious, and freshly prepared right in front of my eyes. I'm totally happy with my order and can definitely recommend the potato doner! :)

BEWARE, SCAM! Like many others, we fell for this scam. The coupon clearly states "2x1 falafel wrap, €5," meaning two for €5. He "understood" it and did it, but at the checkout, he suddenly wanted more money, saying only the third one was free, which isn't stated anywhere on the coupon. He simply pocketed my money, became loud, and was very rude. Discussion was impossible. People who need such dishonorable and pathetic actions will never get ahead in life and will lose their customers. The falafel wraps were also tasteless and oversalted. Never again!

Update: The quality of the kebabs has declined. This kebab is a cheap, standard kebab that all kebab shops now sell. Nevertheless, the service is good, and the quality of the sauce and salad is decent. Unfortunately, I won't be going here anymore; there are now better alternatives in Aachen.

SCAM! The coupon says "2x1 falafel dumpling, 5 euros." Other reviews here also understand it as "2 for 5 euros." So, they placed a bulk order. However, it's "buy 2 get 1 free." When I asked him about it, all he said was, "Brother, it's not my shop, the boss is coming tomorrow, come by then." He must be having this discussion every hour. The food doesn't taste good either.

We wanted to order two doner kebab plates using the coupon, but we were then told that the offer was 3 for 2 instead of 2 for 1 as stated on the coupons. The problem is that the coupons suggest a different offer. After we tried to accept the offer, the coupon was no longer honored and the offer was ignored after we finished eating. It ended up being three times as expensive as planned.

Food: Boring, tasteless, and too expensive for the "quality" offered. The menu is extremely confusing, and even the staff don't seem to know exactly what's on offer. Service: Very poor. You feel like you're not welcome as a customer. Questions about the difficult-to-read menus are barely addressed; instead, you're met with confused looks. Questions about the pizza varieties and requests for spinach were answered with a cheeky laugh and a shake of the head. Naturally, you feel very comfortable as a customer. The menu is limited to Margherita pizza, tuna, and salami—so why the big advertisement for pizza? Ambience: Unfortunately unhygienic. The Coke dispenser, in particular, looks as if it's never properly cleaned. The tables are often dirty, too. Conclusion: I've been there twice, six months apart, and I won't be back. There are many better alternatives in Aachen.

Quick and friendly service, a nice variety of Turkish fast food and a nice atmosphere to eat it as well. In the evening you can usually get parking there as well quite easily.

€4.50 for a falafel parcel. It tastes really good too, what more could you want? I personally would prefer it to be a little less greasy, but that's a matter of taste.

I've never seen such bad staff in my entire life. I've been in the restaurant business myself. I ordered lunch for our company three hours in advance. By the time it was supposed to be ready, they hadn't even started. They didn't even give me any notice.

Best kebab shop, by God! No fuss, no deeds. Best man, trust me! Love goes out.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place. I really hoped the doner would be good, but unfortunately, it's not that tasty. The meat (chicken doner) is far too salty, and the coleslaw has a lot of vinegar. The doner was truly inedible. Furthermore, the food was prepared without care; the doner was crushed in the middle and completely cracked, even though we were the only customers in the shop. The lahmacun wasn't good either—the dough itself had a strange taste. So, unfortunately, I really wouldn't recommend it, even though I always feel very sorry for doner shops.

I've been to many kebab shops, but everything here is just perfect: The meat is super juicy and aromatically seasoned, the bread is fresh and slightly crispy, and the vegetables are crisp and freshly cut. I especially want to highlight the homemade sauces – simply delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. You can tell they put their heart and soul into their work. The portions are also more than fair – you'll definitely be full! I'll definitely be back. Absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a really good kebab!

The food was bad. It was crap. My kebab had pieces of bone in it, which made it inedible. I told him what to put in the kebab, and he did the exact opposite. This made me incredibly angry, and I ended up arguing with my family about this shitty restaurant. I'd love to give it 0 stars, but I can't. 🤬😡

A kebab shop with a great interior. Unfortunately, the pizza oven is often off, so they don't serve pizza or pizza rolls. The food is good and the prices are fair. There's a large TV with music and sometimes football.

Unfortunately the veal skewer was replaced and what you get now is absolutely terrible. This is now what looks like a complete minced skewer stretched to the point where it no longer works. I was honestly shocked when I saw this. Because the meat was really good before, both in terms of quality and taste. What's hanging there now tastes really strange, not like meat. It tastes stale and artificial. They're now putting so much sauce and salad on it so that the taste of the "meat" doesn't take center stage. I won't be eating here again after 2 years, it was actually quite convenient near the university. But if you try so hard to save money and replace the entire skewer with a stretched chemical minced skewer, then I know. I can no longer recommend it, I even advise against it.

Very bad experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely rude, there was a problem with the order and no apology was given at all. The food was bad and overall everything was disappointing.

Unfortunately, we experienced more and more disappointments. The older gentleman makes a 5/5 kebab and you feel like you are in good hands as a customer. With two other employees, I will no longer order here. One with a very dark, full beard and the other has very little hair on his head. The last experience was very borderline. I had to order my Pomm kebab with veal a total of 5 times before it was made (even though I was alone in the shop). I can cut the meat thinner with a butter knife and the fries weren't even remotely cooked through. The food went into the nearest garbage can. Very unfortunate. Without the older gentleman, this shop would be bankrupt.

I ate a veal kebab there today (lunchtime, arrived quickly). Service was very friendly, the kebab was large and tasty. Unfortunately, the entrance door has been broken for a long time and there are also many unsightly spots inside. This really needs to be revised. Sometimes the music is too loud and the huge TV gets in the way. Therefore unfortunately a star deduction. But you can't go wrong here.

The kebab is already delicious. Unfortunately it's often not that clean (nothing super unhygienic but food leftovers for example) It would be easy to wipe the leftover salad and crumbs from the table when the customers leave. In the store the phone is simply set to busy. (I'm checking because there's probably too much going on right now.) But I'd like to know where my food is lol - please Small update, I'm Alman, unfortunately the kebab and lahmacun were cold and completely muddy. It's a shame because it's usually delicious.

My Dürüm was good in itself, but mint was added to my Dürüm along with the falafels without asking. Day ruined. Bakalva tastes suspect, but the staff is very nice and the price of the food is really good.

The doner kebab wasn't bad, but it was very cold inside. Why doesn't the air conditioner turn on? No one wants to eat döner kebab in a cold place when it is -4 in the evening at 7 pm. Also, you can't tell anyone "don't you have cash"? What happened? Did you avoid taxes and bank commissions, boss?

I have never seen worse packaging. Should this be eaten by a human or an animal? That was our last purchase here. It's not fresh. We do not recommend it.

Unfriendly staff, I waited half an hour for a kebab and a Düren, the staff constantly talked about my colleague and me in their local language, the shop was empty and the two of them had nothing better to do than talk the whole time. Additionally, the food was extremely unappetizing and simply not edible, which is why we threw half of it away.

To be honest, I've always eaten here but things have gotten really bad lately. Meat was cold. Vegetables were really not fresh. And meat had no taste even a lot of fat in it.

After years of enjoying kebabs, disappointment has become more and more widespread in the last few months. The quality has decreased and it always depends on who makes the kebab. Meat is now being skimped on and you're getting thin kebab pockets more and more often. Now there is also a drink dispenser and cups in the kebab menu. Back then, every kebab bag had a stamp, which is now only possible with the much more expensive kebab menu. I walked past it the other evening and saw a skewer that was already grilled but frozen. There's simply no comparison to the past - it's a shame, I loved going here, but apparently this wonderful time for kebabs had to end ;( PS: Where on the menu are there no sauces for the fries?

I visited your kebab shop on [October 20th, 2024] and unfortunately I have to say that the service was a big disappointment. Even though I specifically asked for extra sauce, my request was simply ignored. In addition, the staff was rude and showed no interest in treating the guests in a friendly manner. The kebab here used to be really great, but in the last few months the quality has gone downhill. I recently had a pommdöner and the fries weren't really cooked through, but the meat was burnt and the fat was really floating at the bottom. Unfortunately I had to throw it away and the time before that I didn't feel particularly well after eating it. It's a shame, but the quality has deteriorated extremely.

Unfriendly behavior from employees!!! I just wanted extra sauce on my order, but the employee (a young man, 25-30 years old) disrespectfully ignored my request. Doner kebab is rubbish. Meat is cheap and the ingredients are just slapped on. I paid €11 for a normal kebab and a small fries. I would not recommend this store! It looks visually good and inviting, but totally bad!!

I've been going there for 2 years. In the beginning, Fathis was great. I was in love. However, it has now diminished significantly. I hope Fathis recovers and makes an effort again.

Today I ordered a "large kebab menu" for 10.90 euros and also with sheep's cheese. In the end 15 euros were due. Unfortunately, I only became skeptical after I had already paid with my credit card. His explanation was as follows: I should have said "BIG kebab menu" and not "large kebab menu", and so he simply mixed XXL kebab with the menu he ordered. Of course I would have paid an extra 1-1.50 euros for the sheep's cheese, but not suddenly 4.10 more. Despite repeated objections from me, he didn't think it was necessary to only charge me the price including sheep's cheese. I went to this kebab for the first and last time.

I've been going to the store for a few years now, but I've particularly noticed that the kebab has gotten smaller in the last few months. In my experience, people are stingy, especially when the boss is there. The switch from beverage cans to cups for the kebab menu is particularly annoying because it simply cannot be transported easily. In the future I will walk the 50m more to Pontstrasse. It's a shame, I was actually happy for a very long time.

We were neglected by the staff and had to wait 25 minutes before we could order. The food was very dry and didn't taste good at all. But the fries are very tasty.

Went there with 3 adults, tables were dirty and waited 7 minutes for service in an empty shop, in vain. We then left. No more .

Unfortunately, the store has lost an incredible amount of quality. I've been there constantly for 2 years and was able to experience the downfall first hand. The constellation of the kebab is bad. There is all the meat at the bottom (often huge pieces when cut with a knife), and just vegetables at the top. For some reason the bread is no longer toasted until crispy, but rather just slightly warmed. They can more or less manage a pommbox, you can't complain. I hope standards improve soon In any case, it's very good for a drunken kebab at night.

So, no plan what people are for have a taste! Meat is from the factory, standard cheap skewer! Shredded red cabbage with a grater, who does that? Bread falls apart Hunger drives you in. Once and never again. If you accept money and then make the kebab without washing your skin, disgusting! If you point it out and get looked at stupidly, dude!!! We are not in Talabistan! We have soap and water! Bugger me! Anything who can raise €3.50 opens a kebab shop. They even have 5 stars on their advertising!

According to other reviews, the food here is certainly good, but it's just very confusing for vegans. Although there is a "vegan bag" listed on the menu, when I asked if there were vegan options, I was told in a very unfriendly tone, "There's no such thing as vegan! You can't get it anywhere! Everything with yogurt!" replied (although there is vegan kebab 200m away). Very unfortunate. Hopefully something will change

The XXL kebab is just more meat. The employee didn't understand a word, just did it. There was no way to explain to him how it should have been. The meat was raw, cut super thick and really inedible...

Today we spontaneously had dinner here. It was very tasty, fresh ingredients, crusty bread and juicy kebab meat. The sauces are amazing, really top. In my opinion it was quite loud due to the music from the TV. But it is recommended or you should try it out.

I got a Yufka here and it was just disgusting! The taste was a disappointment, but that wasn't even the worst part! It was so disgustingly unhygienic there. The seller handled the money and food without gloves. Simply disgusting!

The Döner shop is located slightly away from Pontor, and as a result, there aren't many people around, creating a pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend dining here; it's a good option. Additionally, the decoration and ambiance are nice, with fancy lights in the shop. Overall, the Döner was delicious with juicy meat, though the sauce wasn't as spicy as requested. Despite this, the flavor was enjoyable, and I would recommend trying it out.

Der alten Zeiten willen muss ich 4 Sterne geben. Warum ich einen Stern abziehe ist weil sie das meiste Fleisch nicht mehr da haben. Somit kann man nicht mehr alles auf der Karte bestellen. Der Grund dafür ist das 99% Prozent der Kundschaft so gut wie nur die Döner Menüs bestellen. Allerdings das was man weiterhin an Essen bekommt ist gut

Sagt dem neuen Mitarbeiter doch bitte, dass er nicht einfach ungefragt scharfe Soße auf den Döner knallen soll. Und vor allem nicht so viel davon.😡

Mein Mann arbeitet bei der ASEAG und wir haben schon mal was dort abgeholt - aber gestern das erste Mal dort gesessen... Das Ambiente ist einfach total schön, sehr gemütlich, sauber, die Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend und freundlich 😊 und das Essen einfach Mega lecker 😋... Ich habe glaube ich noch nie 5 Sterne vergeben, ich fühlte mich einfach total toll dort...

Das Fleisch ist TOP, der Salat ist immer frisch ! Da können sich manch andere Döner Läden ne Scheibe von abschneiden !

Ich esse normal nicht so gerne Döner. Aber spät abends mal nach Feierabend ausprobiert. Bin echt begeistert. Richtig lecker, sehr würzig, frischer Salat! Schmeckt ganz anders wie die üblichen Dönerbuden. Echt TOP! Hier werde ich mir jetzt öfters einen gönnen. Empfehlung!
