Fam. Dang in Berlin

We called in here solely on the appearance of the place. It looks warm and inviting - and to be fair, it was lovely inside. The atmosphere was nice and the staff friendly. Location is good in Rosenthaler Platz. There’s a decent selection on the menu. The food was presented well. In my opinion, the dishes we had could do with a bit more flavour and sauce - but that’s maybe more my personal choice.

Seems like the Vietnamese restaurant I got recommended has been replaced by an Asian fusion place, so there's a lot of Japanese and Korean stuff on the menu as well as Vietnamese. People who demand authenticity might be critical but the food was pretty good overall. The Pho wasn't the best I've had but for what it's worth, it felt authentic enough to me. The Korean barbecue -style dishes were good as well and the prices were reasonable.

Just a disappointment the waitress and waiter still have a lot to learn. Two drinks ordered only one arrived. Thoughts elsewhere for the money, portions too small, can't be seen on the menu, small bread ordered with it. For three euros it arrived when we had already finished eating. And another tip: if a guest wants to pay, bring the bill to them, don't wait in front of them with your cell phone.

My wife and I ate in here on our first day in Berlin, as it was across the road from our hotel. Food was good and the staff were nice.

The food was tasty, we ordered 3 starters to share. The service was fairly fast, but the golden salad barely tasted any mango(still good, but that's what drew us to the dish) The mains looked very tasty but I can't tell you how it tasted, maybe some other time, I would gladly come back and try them. I tried their sakura cocktail, incredibly tasty and pretty! Sweet with a tinge for tart. Highly recommended if you like that. They unfortunately didn't have the mango dessert we wanted, so we skipped that and only had another round of drinks. The rosé was quite nice, though I wish I could have tasted it before when I asked to instead of getting a full glass immediately.

There are constructions, the view was not the best when I went. Lemonades were great. Food was ok, overpriced to be honest. I’ve tried better for less. Toilets were amazing.

Modern restaurant on Torstraße, great youthful atmosphere, light music. The guys (waiters, barmen) really have fun at work, fast, friendly and nice. I was thrilled with the meal (pork with rice noodles). I only waited 2 minutes for the food, awesome!!! Been here twice and always completely satisfied :)

I'll start with the positives: the service is excellent! The atmosphere is great There are tables outside The toilet is clean. We visited on a Saturday evening and there were many empty seats. Minus: I ordered spring rolls and they were very dry and overcooked. In general, the dish is no good My husband had a delicious dish. I don’t remember what it was... it was chicken. In general, the place is not bad

This was still a restaurant for gourmets - but now the pho was really just a watery mess with a few tasteless ingredients

Really interesting and fresh Vietnamese cuisine with a high aromatic level at a moderate price as part of the "lunch menu". The request to pay in cash “if possible” seemed a bit strange. Then the question is whether you “absolutely” need proof of payment. The invoice was printed in its entirety, but only the upper part (transaction receipt) was torn off and handed over.

We had take-out. Unfortunately, the beef on my lunch menu A for 8.20 euros was extremely dry. The quantity and quality for the price is not justified in my opinion. More salad than pasta.

Honestly great restaurant! Food was AMAZING! Everything looked really good! Atmosphere was great and the personnel was really kind! You could actually feel and notice this is a family restaurant in which they put their time, effort and most importantly passion. If you want good Asian cuisine, I recommend it 10/10

The Restaurant Fam. Dang was able to provide my companion and I with a wonderful evening. I was particularly impressed by the food. The dishes were very intense and varied in terms of taste. Portion size was pleasant and there was nothing wrong with the price. The store is very nicely decorated and I felt very comfortable there. It is warmly furnished, lots of wood and lots of flowers and other plants. There's nothing major to complain about in terms of service, we were served quickly, the food came within 10 minutes and the staff was friendly. I just noticed that the waitress had Airpods in her ears, which is not very welcome. Overall very good. I would visit the store again.

Basic Vietnamese. Very cold atmosphere. Service basic, waiter more on the cell phone than with the guest 🤷. A restaurant where you go if you want to satisfy your hunger quickly.

Neue renoviertes Restaurant mit einer wirklich großen Auswahl. Auch meine Vegetarier-Tochter findet reichlich Auswahl. Alles sehr lecker. Preis für Berlin Mitte noch angemessen. Personal extrem freundlich und der Deutschen Sprache mächtig, was in Mitte nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist, da oft nur noch Englisch. Wir kommen sehr gerne und immer wieder hier her zu Essen.

Bester Vietnamese in Berlin. Egal ob Vorspeise, Hauptspeise oder Nachspeise, es gibt wirklich nichts, was nicht schmeckt. Alles wird sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Die Karte ist auch nicht sehr groß, was ich persönlich viel schöner finde und die gute Qualität erhalten bleibt. Preis-Leistung ist auch top. Für die zentrale Lage, das Ambiente und das Essen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Fo Bo is excellent, duck with noodles is good: meat is perfect, noodles - a bit too much salt, but ok. Vietnamese coffee is very delicious 😋. Payment with card from 15 euro.

Fast zwei Stunden mit Familie bei sehr gutem Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre verbracht. Endlich auch Kartenzahlung möglich. Gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis.

Service ist sehr freundlich! Gute Auswahl an Vorspeisen, mal was anderes als sonst beim Vietnamesen! Unbedingt probieren: Vietnamesische Pizza, Koreanischer Reiskuchen! Schönes modernes Ambiente mit niedrigen Stühlen. War nicht zu laut. Wir waren zu 7 und konnten uns gut unterhalten.

Hier war es vor dem Umbau besser. Essen ist in Ordnung, aber auch kein Highlight. Service trotz relativer Leere im Lokal unaufmerksam. Schade! Nur Bargeldzahlung möglich.

Tolle Location mit netten Menschen Das Essen hier ist wirklich gut, die Portionen können hier leider ein bisschen klein ausfallen. Alles in allem aber sehr nett. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: die Gläser auch einmal mehr spülen, viele davon sind blind. Trotzdem all in one sehr schöne Location

Online Öffnungszeiten stimmen nicht

Wir haben uns hingesetzt, um zu essen. Bevor wir uns die karte angeschaut haben, sind wir auf die toilette gegangen. Danach haben wir die preise gesehen und haben uns dazu entschieden zu gehen. der unfreundliche kellner an der tür wollte 2€ pro person dafür bekommen das wir die Toilette benutzt haven, obwohl wir uns aufrichtig entschuldigt haben. Seine Begründung war daraufhin ,,Wir müssen das ja alles wieder sauber machen.“ Als hätten wir die Toilette so dreckig hinterlassen .. lächerlich!!

Leckeres Essen, schade nur, dass die Preise etwas erhöht sind, sonst würde ich jeden Tag dort hin gehen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung war immer freundlich.

Dumplings were just bits of pasta dumped in fat. My plate of curry was completely bland then I noticed that the plate had 5 chips around the edge. The chef came & said that was fine ! So these guys have no pride at all. AVOID !!

Modernes Restaurant am Torstraße, tolle jugendliche Atmosphäre, leichtes Musik. Die Jungs (Kellner, Barmen) haben wirklich Spaß auf die Arbeit, schnell, freundlich und nett. Von dem Essen (Schweinefleisch mit Reisnudeln) war ich begeistert. Auf dem Essen habe ich nur 2 Minuten gewartet, geil!!!

Modernes vietnamesisches Restaurant mit stilvollen Ambiente. Qualität des Essens ist gut, Preise leider etwas touristisch.

The food came out very fast which is good, the service was also good. There is only tofu as a vegan alternative. Most Vietnamese restaurants in e.g. Friedrichshain serve seitan (even different kinds - „beef“, „chicken“, „duck“ etc.) which makes their vegan dishes miles better than what is served here. It was also a bit bland.

Leckeres Essen. Von Ramen über Pho bis hin zu Nudeln-, Reis- und koreanischen Gerichten. Super freundliches Personal. Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen. Kinderstühle sind vorhanden. Und die Toiletten sind sauber!
