Simply wow...! I visited the Falafelerie for the first time today and I'm wondering "why only now?" but better late than never :) . An absolute taste experience - the ingredients are all fresh, and you can see the attention to detail in the preparation! The owner explained all the dishes on his menu and also recommended what to order so we could sample the variety. We opted for the falafel sushi and the mixed plate, so we could try everything - everything was absolutely perfect, including the seasoning - just spot on. I would also like to emphasize the friendliness of all the staff. Although it's usually a given, we were served at our table. The kitchen greeted us with a fresh falafel and hummus. The price/performance ratio is definitely right here - two thumbs up :) Thank you for such a great experience - I will definitely be coming back regularly!

One of the best falafel maker in the town! All only vegetarian options. Really nice and friendly owner and always gives complementary falafel to everyone who visits them. Only few selections but all dishes are really tasty and healthy. A must visit place for all vegetarian! Possible to dine in as well as take away!

Highly recommend! Edit July 2025: our 6 year old would like to give them 10+ stars and I agree. The old place was good but somehow the new location has imbued the falafel with even more deliciousness. The texture is AMAZING! Highly recommend everything, but the new special is indeed very special. The Baba Ghanoush is more delicious than it has any right to be and alllllllll the hummus flavors are excellent. Our 3 year old didn't want to share the salad and now I have to go find pomegranate seeds at Rewe because he's decided they're his favorite 😂 Whether you want amazing food sitting down and relaxing or while you walk around town, we highly HIGHLY recommend checking them out!

A unique authentic falafel sandwich in Baden-Württemberg. After three years in Germany and knowing that I don't have falafel with the original Palestinian cheese, I discovered it in these shops. Palestinian Falafel the Right Way Honestly, I can't give it less than 5 stars. The authentic taste of falafel is flawless. The food is clean and according to the rules. The guys are always smiling and friendly. The atmosphere is generally wonderful and calm, and the place is clean. We wish them success, progress, and development. God willing, they will open a similar branch in Stuttgart or Ludwigsburg.

The best bistro with really good and tasty falafel, not too dry, and the falafel sushi is fresh and very varied. Three types of hummus (mint, classic, beetroot, and beetroot) taste good even though I don't really like it. While you wait, you usually get a falafel to snack on and a friendly smile. "Spicy" means really spicy, so you should say whether you want a lot or a little. The food is more for takeaway, but you can also eat in. It's quite small and cramped for seating. Takeaway is recommended, and you can bring your own container!

Very very tasty. I love falafels and that's why we tried the falafelerie in Esslingen. The falafel sushi in particular is a great idea, looks great and tastes really good. The dressing in the falafel bowl was also very tasty and lemony. Overall really recommended. The employees are friendly and give you a falafel to try and shorten the waiting time. Unfortunately there are only 3 tables to sit in front of the shop. But we were lucky and were able to enjoy our meal in the sunshine 🙂

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. I would ideally like to give it 3.5, but unfortunately that's not possible. 😅 Well, the falafels taste really great, the dishes are very healthy and nutritious and therefore have a very good price-performance ratio, as the food really keeps you full for a long time. It's fast food, but very healthy! However, the portions are also really large. No wonder the falafels taste so good here when the owner is Palestinian and Israel/Gaza is said to have the world's best falafels. 😋 The falafels are also handmade, which you won't find anywhere else in Esslingen, definitely give it a try! So I think the food is great, but I'm conflicted about the service: the employees are very nice and extremely hospitable, you get one or two falafels on your hand every time, really nice! But they're also very slow at serving you - even though it's a stand-up restaurant and you're not actually served at the table, you still sometimes have to wait up to 20 minutes for your food, which is far too long! It also always takes forever until you are allowed to pay or until you get charged. You often have to ask for it several times. The people really seem a bit planned. The employees also seem very disorganized and overwhelmed with the processes. I also sometimes find the hygiene in the snack bar questionable - for example, the employees handle the food with the same gloves that they use to accept the money. Or you can place the falafel wraps directly on the kitchen surface, without a plate, and clean around them with a cloth and cleaning agent. The tables are sometimes not cleaned and there are still crumbs and stains from previous guests. In addition, the opening times on the door are currently not legible and in the past you couldn't always rely on the snack bar being open as stated in the opening times. Very annoying. What also bothers me are the bad or inaccurate names of the dishes on the menu: instead of e.g. For example, “Large salad with falafels, hummus and avocado” and “Small salad with falafels, hummus and avocado” only says “falafel plate” and “falafel bowl”. Nobody knows that this is supposed to be a salad! With some reservations, I like going to the falafelerie!
