Nice shady spot with a view of the Weser. Had schnitzel with fried potatoes + small salad. Everything was great, including the schnitzel, but the mushroom sauce didn't work at all It looked strange and took a lot of getting used to. It's better to eat the schnitzel without sauce.

Very pleasant contact in advance to reserve a table! We were able to enjoy the wonderful view on the terrace in beautiful weather, the service was top and the dishes were tasty. What more could you want, thank you again to the entire team!

Fries and fried potatoes are a hit here! I'm not a huge fan of it otherwise, but it tastes really good here. It is also positive that the salad does not consist of pickled vegetables like others. Firstly you get a large side dish and secondly with lots of fresh vegetables. Great bike stopover. For vegans the choice is rather limited. This can be expanded. Great and friendly service every time, great!

Very nice little hermitage, right on the Weser cycle path. It's also perfect to end the sunny Sunday evening in an idyllic atmosphere. The food was consistently good. The service was always polite despite the full beer garden. The prices are averagely in line with the surrounding restaurants, but the ambience is much better here. We come more often. Kind regards from the neighboring village of Amelunxen.

Under shady trees, with a panoramic view of the Weser, very attentive and friendly service, a small menu with classics and creative offerings, everything freshly and deliciously prepared and served. Child friendly. Highly recommended.

We like to go to Fährklause, the friendly atmosphere and the food is very, very good. Even if there is someone there who doesn't like it, we won't let ourselves be dissuaded from saying: Guys, the Fährklause is bombastic and enjoy it there. Great team keep it up

Nothing for the small appetite. Everything fresh and homemade.

Currently there is a construction site all around. Lots of reserved seats and tables but no one there. We sat on a wooden bench and just had a drink. We should rethink everything.

This evening we went to the Fährklause for schnitzel. In addition to the good, inexpensive food and the unique ambience, we felt we were in the right place because of the friendliness and professionalism of the host. We are always happy to come back! The route from Bad Pyrmont to Werden is not too long for a stay in this beautiful place.

There are still nice beer gardens with additional prices

The Fährklause is very well located, directly on the Weser! You can sit outside, beautifully, under the trees! The service is nice! The food tastes good, the curry sauce isn't that great, you could serve something better! The fried potatoes taste good!

Nice corner to relax on the Weser. Fries and co at normal prices. Operation and service a bit slow. Maybe they were a little overworked that day. It was also very warm. Many places on the Weser. Large parking lot right next door

The Wehrden ferry terminal The excursion restaurant, the Fährklause in Wehrden, is located directly on the popular Weser cycle path R99. From the terrace, with around 60+ seats, you have a direct view of the Weser and invite you to linger under the tall trees. With an additional 60+ seats, the restaurant offers a pleasant refuge from bad weather. Two separate areas with 30 or 20 seats can be separated from regular operations and offer opportunities for small or medium-sized groups of all kinds for birthday, Christmas, funeral, company celebrations or sensitive meetings. Directly in front of the Fährklause is the pier of the Weser steamer, which commutes daily between Bad Karlshafen and Corvey Castle during the season (unfortunately not in 2023!). The Weser cycle path R99 leads directly past the Fährklause. Canoe docks and one of the rare greed cable ferries are directly in sight.

Ein wunderschöner Platz um auf die Weser und die tolle Landschaft zu schauen. Dazu einen leckeren Cocktail und ein Häppchen zu essen - Herz, was begehrst du mehr. Sehr freundliche Bedienung!

Tolle Lage der Fährklause direkt am Weserradweg. Man kann drinnen oder draußen sitzen und hat einen schönen Blick auf die Weser und den Solling. Das Essen ist ebenfalls sehr lecker und die Portionen sind großzügig. Die Betreiber sind wirklich nett und aufmerksam. Wir kommen immer gerne!

Entspannende Lokation in Ufernähe. Sehr nette Bedienung und hervorragendes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Immer einen Ausflug wert.

Service super, Lage gut, Essen leider so lala. Ich hatte ein Schnitzel mit 2 Soßen. Die Currysoße ging leider gar nicht. Der Curry-Geschmack fehlte, dafür waren undefinierbare Stücke drin, die mich irgendwie an eine Bolognese-Sosse erinnerte. Die Pilzsoße war nicht „viel“ besser. Der Beilagensalat war super! Die Pommes und das Schnitzel eher durchschnittlich.

Haben einen Kaffee und ein Stück Kuchen gegessen, Afpfelmandel mit Sahne, sehr lecker!!! Service pervekt, und die Lage: direkt an der Weser, einfach toll.

Als ehemaliger Wehrdener musste ich mal die „neue“ Fährklause probieren. Bestellt wurden Bratkartoffeln mit 2 Spiegeleiern und Salat. Riesenbockwurst mit Bratkartoffeln und Paprikasauce. Dazu gabs 9er Crispy Nuggets. Uns hat das Essen sehr geschmeckt, Bedienung war freundlich und schnell unterwegs, ohne einen stressigen Eindruck zu hinterlassen. Bei der nächsten Fahrradtour gerne nochmal !

Bratkartoffeln nicht mehr kross und dafür so richtig schön fettig. Die Matjesfilets sehr salzig. Keine schöne Erinnerung.

Super schön direkt an der Weser. Aber leider nur Imbissbuden Essen. - Schnitzel und Bratkartoffeln waren leider zu fettig - Championrahmsoße war pilze mit Sahne. Für 17,5€ hätte ich was besseres erwartet. Aber nach einem Freundlichen Gespräch, wurde mir ein Teil der Rechnung erlassen.

Sehr freundlicher Service. Hier kehrt man gern ein, auch wegen der Lage direkt an der Weser.

Lecker Kuchen - aufmerksame Bedienung u. herrliches Plätzchen mit Blick auf das Schloss Fürstenberg

Sehr leckere Schnitzel, Preis passt, schneller und freundlicher Service und perfekt gelegen direkt am Weserradweg und an der Personenfähre Fürstenberg - Wehrden. Wunderbar für einen Fahrradausflug, wir kommen gern wieder😊👍🏻

Einmal im Jahr bin ich in Höxter und mein erster Radausflug geht nach Wehrden zum Fährhaus. Kaffee und Kuchen bei traumhafter Lage an der Weser.

Lecker Bratkartoffeln mit Spiegelei, dazu frischen Salat und ein leckeres Weißbier vom Fass. So kann man die Sicht auf die Weser genießen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Waren heute mit dem Senioren Wanderclub dort. Kaffee und Kuchen preiswert und gut. Die Bedienung Sehr nett. Gaststätte sehr ordentlich und sauber. Nur zu empfehlen.

Unglaubliches Feeling dort! Wenn man zur Tür reinkommt fühlt man sich sofort Wohl! Die Speisen und Getränke sind Preislich und Geschmacklich Top! Der Service ist einzigartig! So muss Gastro! 😊

Super Ambiente! Nur nettes Personal das Essen ist Top die hausgemachte Currysauce ist aufjedenfall mal einen Versuch wert! Hochwertiges und leckeres Essen bekommt man hier aufjedenfall. Hier wird noch mit Herz und Köpfchen gekocht.
