Service friendly, the food came quickly Maybe a little too fast, the Rösti was almost raw and absolutely tasteless, everything was missing, salmon wasn't tasty. I'm sorry but that was nothing.

Excellent experience in this restaurant! We had homemade rostis, they were super good! Special mention for the house aperitif (cold gluhwein with sparkling wine) and the German red wine. This is an address that we highly recommend!!

The Expresso restaurant is a nice, cozy restaurant in an old train station building. The service was very nice and the food and drinks came very quickly and it was very tasty! The prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants and the desserts were also very good. The owners are very nice and in a good mood. It is definitely worth a visit and if we are in the Black Forest again we will definitely come back!

Everything beautifully done. Very friendly, good food and good advice, a great atmosphere in the old train station. The homemade Rösti are great, the roast with onions is excellent, and the wine is well chosen, leaving nothing to be desired. Reservation is recommended or you can arrive late in the afternoon... Especially recommended for motorhome drivers with a penchant for good cuisine, as there are 16 urban motorhome parking spaces set up right next to the bistro.

Wir haben anhand der TripAdvisor Bewertungen einen Versuch gewagt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das kleine, aber sehr feine Bistro - eine echte Perle. Vom Kindergericht, über die Erwachsenengerichte, über die Einrichtung bis hin zum Service. Volle Punktzahl. Die Rösti... Wirklich der Wahnsinn. Und das ist nicht übertrieben. Anatomie empfehlenswert. Lieber mal einen Stopp am Bahnhof einlegen, aussteigen und gutes Essen genießen. Danach kann man immer noch weiter fahren... Aber gesättigt mit einem wohligen Gefühl.

Unfortunately, the hash browns are very fatty and one dish had bacon even though it wasn't specified. In terms of the price-performance ratio, that was unfortunately very disappointing, almost cheeky. We flashed it back when paying and the waitress at least apologized. Special requests were taken into consideration very well. In addition, the portions are generous and you sit very nicely in a cozy atmosphere.

This is more than a simple bistro. It has a very nice decor and a good menu. The rosti is particularly good. There is a reasonable selection of wine and beer. The prices are very reasonable. Whilst the welcome was not particularly warm and friendly, it’s a very good place to eat.

We have stayed at Espresso several times and have always been very satisfied. The main courses usually cost between €20 and €30, and the portions are very large. The service staff are very nice and helpful, and the seating is comfortable both inside and outside. Thanks to its central location right next to the train station, the restaurant is also easy to reach with the Dreiseenbahn. Overall, highly recommended, we'll definitely come back when we're in the area again.

It’s so quiet place, near a train station , the salad with the beef and the steak was very good, the young kids said that the kinda pizza was ok, since they thought that it’s a pizza but it was a flat bread with cheese on the top mascarpone . It’s like a home made place kitchen

Super unfriendly, they were brushed off very harshly, there was no space available. It wasn't that crowded at all, they probably didn't want children. The kitchen would be closing soon, we said we just wanted to eat ice cream... but Despite there being free places, we were expelled. Apparently they've already earned enough money today🤷...Never again

The best Flammkuchen in the region. I have tried Flammkuchen at different places in Schwarzwald as well as Freiburg but here they serve the best. We had tried a few other dishes as well and everything was delicious. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the location has a super beautiful mountain view!! And of course beer is amazing in this area! Highly recommended

Beautiful large terrace right at the Dreiseenbahn train station, very picturesque location, many hiking trails in the immediate area and a very nice restaurant inside. Very tasty, very good cuisine, everything freshly cooked! The service, the landlady is very friendly and quick! My favorite are the Röstis in all variations. Delicious tarte flambée, reordering is not an issue! Great salads and delicious desserts. Prices very correct. Everything is just great! Thank you very much!

The reception was very friendly and the service was extremely attentive throughout the entire stay. The food tastes very tasty, the portions are absolutely sufficient and the price is right. It's a shame that the journey takes so long for us, otherwise we would definitely be regular guests.

The word “bistro” is clearly an understatement. It is an old railway building that has been very attractively and extensively renovated inside and out. Very good, attentive service. The food is ok, the homemade rösti and the tarte flambée are very good. You have to be there at least once.

Total schönes, kleines, gemütliches Restaurant in einem Bahnhof. Ausschlaggebend für unseren Besuch war die Tatsache, dass durchgehend warme Küche angeboten wird. Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker, auch für Vegetarier geeignet. Waren dann gleich an einem Tag mittags und abends da.

Very nice restaurant in Falkau train station, friendly service, reasonable prices. My granddaughter not only got the spaetzle with cream sauce she ordered, but also a small salad bowl. The Rösti with mushrooms, bacon and gratinated cheese are just as recommended as the vegetarian version. All in all, highly recommended!😋

Ich habe jahrelang nach einem derartigen Restaurant im Schwarzwald gesucht. Das Ambiente ist grossartig. Materialien aus Holz und Metall sind sehr hochwertig. Das Essen ist Spitzenklasse!!! Vor allem die Kürbissuppe hat mich positiv umgehauen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles das zu einen vernünftigen Preis

Eine absolute Empfehlung! Das Essen und Ambiente waren wirklich klasse! Zudem war der Service so super lieb und kinderfreundlich. Es gab für die Kids sogar was zum malen im die Wartezeit zu verkürzen. Wirklich tolles Restaurant!

We waren op weg naar een ander restaurant maar die was gesloten. Dus kwamen we toevallig hier terecht. En gelukkig maar ! Erg leuk gezellig personeel en het eten was echt fantastisch lekker. Mochten we ooit weer in de buurt komen dan komen we zeker weer langs. Mogelijk ook nog interessant. Wij zijn met een grote camper en parkeren geen probleem. Naast het restaurant is ook nog een camperplaats mocht je water of stoom nodig hebben. Overnachten kan ook.

Toffe bistro, met lekker eten en hele vriendelijke bediening. Groot terras, binnen gezellig ingericht. Typische gerechten en lekkere rösti, ook vegetarisch.

Gute bodenständige Küche, die nicht weltbewegend ist. Grundsätzlich hat Salz gefehlt und die Rösti waren sehr fettig. Man kann ganz schön draußen sitzen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

De zelfgemaakte rösti met dubbele schnitzels geprobeerd. Heel veel waar voor je geld. Samen met toetjes en drinken slechts een gering bedrag kwijt Lieve en gastvrije bediening.

Le service est assurée par 2 jeunes femmes franco allemandes charmantes. Situé à côté de la gare mais très calme, la carte est petite mais se démarque des plats habituellement trouvés dans les restaurants allemands (saucisses ou hjaret de porc). Je vous conseille la truite cuite aux 2 façons ou les pâtes aux girolles. Fait également glacier. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la discution en français avec les serveuses car cest une langue inconnue en Allemagne.
