The food was great. Unfortunately, the service was very inattentive. We sat at our table for a long time and no one came. It's a shame.

A real dump. The waiters just don't come, and when they do walk by, they don't even look at you. Then you go to the front and ask if someone could come to your table, and then wait another 10 minutes. The waiters were all standing at the front with nothing to do. There were other tables waiting forever. We left the place hungry. The staff are truly a complete disaster; I don't know how a restaurant like this can even run.

Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing. The service was unfriendly; we had to wait a long time and felt almost ignored. Overall, the level of attention and service was lacking. That's no fun at all when it comes to going to a restaurant.

I was there today with my girlfriend, and we were really looking forward to something refreshing. We ordered Matcha Strawberry Mango – but what we were served was something completely different: brownish, with an indefinable taste, more reminiscent of cocoa than anything with matcha, strawberry, or mango. We politely asked the waiter about it. His response: "Unfortunately, the person who makes it can't do that." – honest, but also very disappointing for a café. As compensation, we were offered something on the house, which we thought was nice. We then opted for mango and strawberry smoothies. But unfortunately, the next problem arose: These smoothies were also far from what you would expect. No fruity flavor, no creamy consistency – it just tasted like water with a little flavor. Neither fresh nor delicious. Overall, the visit was disappointing. The quality of the drinks was subpar, and even though the service was attentive, it didn't make up for the experience. I probably won't come back.

The price was €8.95. That was very disappointing. Be careful with a large Coke...you'll also get a large glass 3/4 full of ice cubes and some Coke...

We went there for my grandmother's birthday, and as always, it was great! Delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly service. It's always a pleasure to go back!

A great place to unwind. With a view of the lake, a little holiday feeling :) What always annoys us is the service. It takes too long, sometimes drinks come twice, or something is always missing. Otherwise, a lovely restaurant that we always enjoy visiting when the weather is nice. I can happily recommend it. The staff is also friendly, and as I said, the service just needs to be rocking, then it'll be perfect.

Edit: We were here again, this time we were skillfully ignored, which is unacceptable. If I could, I would give it 0 stars. (We didn't do anything, just sat at a table that didn't say "reserve", IMPOSSIBLE!) We had to wait an hour to pay, while three employees happily chatted with a woman in another room. We weren't the only ones who waited that long to pay/order. If it were full, I would understand, but it was practically empty, and we were seated at the front! We definitely won't be coming back here anytime soon.

I was there today at lunchtime with a good friend and we weren't served after sitting there for 20 minutes... even though there were 10 waiters there and 3 waiters were chatting... and looked at us but didn't serve us!!!!

The food was great, the service was good and very friendly, everyone was very nice and clean! Unfortunately, it was very loud, so you couldn't have a conversation at times! Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. I can only recommend it!

The place used to be really good, with great service and absolutely delicious food. Unfortunately, there's not much of that left anymore. 🥺🫣😪We have friends nearby, and we always enjoyed going to the lake and finding eternal love. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. WHAT A SAD!!!🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Despite being lightly staffed and plenty of people, there were very long waits to be served. We had to wait 15 minutes to pay because no staff were available. The food was served cold, and the pizza rolls were raw. It's a real shame that the service is so poor and the ambiance is so lovely.

The selection left nothing to be desired and offered something for every taste. The restaurant itself also surprised us positively. It is very spacious and nicely decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. A small downside was the service. In our opinion, there is still a need for some training for staff here. However, no one is perfect and we are confident that this will improve over time. We found the price-performance ratio to be okay. Conclusion: Overall, we can recommend the “Eternal Love” for a rich breakfast in a beautiful ambience. There are small drawbacks in the service, but the potential for positive development is definitely there.

Were there for breakfast on Sunday and had reserved children's chairs. These were sticky and dirty. The service staff also waited a long time for us to order drinks. There was a stumbling block at the bread roll counter that hadn't just been there since yesterday. No more croissants or scrambled eggs. When asked by the completely overwhelmed staff: "Oh, that's coming soon." The food itself was good. But what doesn't work at all is the play area. A plastic box that has broken off with sharp points, which any child could seriously injure themselves with. A completely defective climbing frame. Doesn't anyone see that, or does something have to happen first? We had only heard good things and are more than disappointed

We sat there for 15 minutes when the waitress came to us and took the order after she had already walked past us 6 times. When we got the food, our fries were lukewarm and the waitress asked us if everything was okay and we told her that the fries were cold and she said, I'm sorry 😡

The location and the view are mega. Service, yes. Very often you walk past the table empty. At the buffet, a lot of things are often empty. Is added late or only after request. Staff go to the toilet and don't wash their hands afterwards. Were there for the third time now. And that was it. Never again. People like to give it a chance. But being disappointed three times is too many.

Good Friday the service was excellent. You were served quickly, asked if you needed anything else, the toilets were clean and the tables were cleared quickly. This experience was a 5/5 In contrast, Sundays have medium occupancy and plenty of staff. The employees were audibly shouting at each other for the guests, sometimes in a jargon that made you wonder if they even thought about the fact that there were children present. You were consistently ignored, a drink was forgotten, nothing was cleared away and the staff were more concerned with themselves than with the guests. The service is a real surprise. We were there on Good Friday from 6 p.m. Super nice and attentive staff. Then on Easter Sunday I was there again at half past four. The store was busy, but not at full capacity. You were sometimes ignored, the staff hissed at each other so that it could be heard throughout the entire store. After our meal it took 40 minutes to clear the empty plates. We then ordered two more drinks and the bill, one drink was brought, the second and the bill didn't come. It took another half hour until you finally got the bill, after you had tried several times to draw attention to yourself. Of course the missing drink was calculated. The trash can in the women's restroom was overflowing with baby diapers that already smelled. A look at the cleaning schedule also said that the last time anyone looked there was at 12 noon. By then it was half past five and two checks had not been carried out. We weren't the only ones who weren't served, people kept coming to the counter to ask for staff to pay, to make orders etc. There were 4 waiters present, 2 other staff who only cleared tables, plus a counter staff and yet everyone was absolutely overwhelmed and didn't know who was supposed to do which area.

You don't ask if everything is okay or if you still have a wish. Then wait again until you can pay!! If things don't get better, I see black for this otherwise beautiful restaurant. What a shame!

It started strong and tapered off strongly. At the beginning we were served very friendly and after that we were virtually ignored. The burger I ordered didn't arrive, but the waiter tried to convince me that it was the burger I ordered. Empty glasses and empty dishes were picked up from the table quickly and reliably. Ambience was very nice!

Disappointing service! You sit forever waiting for your drink while the tables aren't cleared. If you speak to the staff, you will also be treated unfriendly. Kind regards to the owner – perhaps training for your staff would be appropriate? Especially when dealing with customers. Very nice restaurant right on the lake. The atmosphere is very cozy and you can see a lot of the lake and nature through the many large windows. The staff is also very nice and friendly, but unfortunately not that reliable and not fast. On the one hand, we waited a long time for the food and it was delivered staggered so that one portion was already eaten before the other arrived. Of course, that's a shame if you actually want to eat together.

I was there last night with my daughter. I had called ahead and reserved a table for two at 7 p.m. We had actually wanted to have a nice evening, but then it was ruined so badly, I've never experienced anything like it before. We got there, a young lady showed us our table, and from then on nothing happened. The tables around us got their drinks and then their food. There was a lot of activity behind the counter, but unfortunately the focus was not on the customers, but more on entertaining each other. It was interesting to observe how ignorant the staff can be. Eye contact, hand signals, none of it was seen or didn't want to be seen. We then left the restaurant after a full 40 minutes without a single waiter coming to see us. It's a shame because the location is really nice but unfortunately it's no longer an option for us.

Waited half an hour for two coffees, then got the wrong one, then waited another 15 minutes to get the wrong coffee and a cold waffle with cold "warm fruit." And then waited forever for a waiter to pay. Never again.

Hello today I was deeply disappointed with this restaurant. We waited about 30 minutes for our coffee. The buffet was already empty at 9.30 a.m. and it wasn't served until shortly before the end. Breakfast buffet is called breakfast and not a lunch buffet. When I complained, I was insulted by the new boss.

I have always loved the bowl at this restaurant. Large selection and very tasty. That stood out from other restaurants. There's always a salad... now I'm sitting here and have to realize that the bowls have been taken off the menu. How sad. Dear owners, maybe your delicious bowl will be available again this summer? That's why we like to travel.

We have been there several times, including on January 31, 2025 and this morning for the breakfast buffet and also in the evening. It was below average again today! It's best to bring coffee and other warm drinks from home, the hot chocolates were cold. If we had brought the drinks in thermoses, at least it would have been hot. Getting a second coffee or latte took over 30 minutes, I then declined thanks. But that wasn't all, there were no more rolls at the buffet until another guest asked the staff about it. Cold cuts plates were also not refilled. We had similar experiences on evenings in the summer, service totally overwhelmed and the food mediocre. When asked about the poor service, there wasn't even an apology. It's a shame, because the atmosphere there is actually great! Nothing attracts us there anymore.

There were almost no vegan dishes and no milk alternative for coffee. It was pretty weak overall. The condition was rare and it took a long time for the orders to arrive. For example, if you want another drink, you have to get it yourself. When it came to paying, it was a bit of a mess again because different dishes were booked than what was eaten. But that was easily resolved. The ambience is nice. Please provide more vegan or vegetarian alternatives, including existing dishes. For me, oat milk is always standard! And the service is welcome to look left and right.

The design of the rooms is very versatile and unusual, especially in the evenings when it is cold, the fireplace is lit. Nice cozy atmosphere. There is plenty of seating, whether in winter or summer. In summer the location is very nice when you can sit outside towards the Offlumer Lake. The Essenau selection is very diverse and offers are also made depending on the season. The food tastes very tasty as does the decoration of the plates. It makes you more appetitive. The selection of drinks is also varied, including cocktails, hot drinks, etc. Staff is nice. There are various offers such as brunch in the morning. You can easily spend the day or evening with a larger group of people with a reservation. Handicapped accessible, yes, partially wheelchair accessible. The front door is difficult to dislodge for wheelchair users and there is a ledge in the door. Sufficient parking spaces are available. There is a small playground for younger guests such as a water feature and a basketball court and mountain bike track. You can then walk around the lake. It is very central for cyclists and is located directly on the hiking trail in Neuenkirchen.

Wir haben uns was von Ewiger Liebe liefern lassen. Als das Essen nach über 2 Stunden endlich geliefert wurde, war das Essen schon kalt und teilweise ungenießbar. Ich hatte einen Burger der völlig lieblos und trocken war, dazu einen geschmacklosen Salat. Am Blattsalat klebte eine matschige Substanz und ich befürchte das es Erde war. Einfach nur ekelhaft. Nie wieder!

This started with the selection of the menu. There were three of us there and each of us decided on a dish relatively quickly. And we asked the waitress or told her that we would like some mozzarella sticks as a starter. The waitress's answer. Too late.😳😳 Then, after some time, we were given our chosen menu. so we already had the drinks. Unfortunately, the drinks took a while to arrive. When we wanted to start eating, we realized that there wasn't enough cutlery because half of the cutlery was dirty (with dried-on food residue). We then asked for additional cutlery, as unfortunately there was only clean cutlery for two people. The container that the cutlery was in was also very dirty on the inside on the bottom. The cutlery and napkins were simply stuffed carelessly into the container. All I can say about the food is that my schnitzel (chicken) simply tasted artificial. The sauce, which should be mushroom sauce, is completely diluted with water. The salad as a side dish was just dry and not fresh at all. Unfortunately, the food for my two companions wasn't much better. When I tried to wipe my mouth with a napkin after eating, I discovered that there were several hairs on the napkin. In the end we also decided against dessert. What completely shocked me after the meal was the fact that the employee brought the customers' cutlery to the table tucked under his arm😳😳😳😳 (just tucked under his armpits) Since I work in the catering industry myself, this visit was really disappointing for me. I know myself that the catering industry is often very stressful. But if a customer experiences so many unpleasant things on one visit day, that can't be right. Unfortunately for me it was the first and last visit.
