We have been here many times and now only the location on the lake is worth a star. The service is bad, no one comes and asks if you want something more to drink. Unfortunately we didn't like the food either. The music is so loud that you can no longer hold a conversation. Often no one can be reached by phone. So you can neither reserve a table nor, as a well-behaved person, cancel a table...

The food is good and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Great location with the lake for a walk.

I've never experienced such bad service before. Last week I was here with my parents. During the entire time, not once did a waiter come to us on their own initiative, only after we had struggled to get our attention was our order placed recorded. The food didn't come at the same time and with three pieces of cake (which were definitely not homemade) that's really not too much to ask. I understood because the store was very full so I decided to make a second attempt today. If I hadn't done it, today it was even worse. After about 20 minutes a waiter came to us for the first time after we called for him. The food came before the drinks and was carelessly slammed onto the table. We finished eating and then had to wait half an hour until we even had the opportunity to express our desire to pay. Then we had to wait another 20 minutes until someone actually came to collect, which was only after we asked for it the second time. Sorry but the bad service in this restaurant really ruined me and I definitely won't be coming back I work in the catering industry myself and understand a lot of things, but that's where it ends for me

The food was good but the service is simply subpar. So many staff but it feels like only one is working. No idea who assigns the staff. The store is very large and somehow the staff only moves in the middle and no one really looks to the left or right.

Great breakfast, delicious coffee and top service at reasonable prices. There is nothing more to expect. We felt very comfortable.

Set school grade 6! We wanted to have a coffee after a walk. We were almost overrun by 2 service staff without even giving us a glance. After we asked if we could sit wherever we wanted, we were assigned a seat. That was it. After 20 minutes without being served we left again. When the counter said we were leaving without being served, the answer was “yes”. Sounded like “bad luck” to my ears. Service equals 0!

Enjoyed lunch in this restaurant which is located near a beautiful lake. Service is friendly and fast. Food was fine and plentiful for lunch. Beer of course. I will definitely come back here!

The food was really good and there was a lot of choice. The ambience was nice and creatively decorated. However, it seemed to us as if the service was a bit uncoordinated. You had to wait ages to be able to order or you had to speak to the waiters yourself. There was also a promotion where you had to print or SCREENSHOT something from their website so you could get a free breakfast. A waiter assured us that a screenshot would be enough. However, when we wanted to request a free breakfast, another waitress said that a screenshot wouldn't be enough, which is why we then had to pay the full price.

The only thing that's nice here is the location. Otherwise, if you could give 0 stars here, it would be for the service. We have been there 3 times now because we say all good things come in threes, but we will definitely never see this restaurant again. The first time I got the wrong food. And waited a good 45 minutes for drinks, the food arrived earlier than the drinks. On the second occasion you could read, as with others, service staff standing at the counter chatting and watching with their cell phones. And the last time we waited a long time for drinks. And my wife's extra order was missing half of her salad. And criticism is not welcomed, it seems to me

the glasses stink, have you ever heard of washing up and why are your workers so lazy and make us wait an hour for the drinks

Real cheek now, After hours of waiting for a rather unfriendly and unmotivated waiter, I ordered a Caesar salad, which was a joke. Each side salad is larger and paying €13 for 3 lettuce leaves and pre-purchased bread chips is already steep. The whole thing didn't taste good. I'm glad I also ordered fries, otherwise my small hunger wouldn't have been satisfied. The overall prices have risen extremely, but the menu and quality have shrunk enormously. Definitely no longer recommended

Food and ambience are good, prices are okay. But what doesn't work is if you wait almost 30 minutes for the bill. And then you get the explanation that you had a conversation with the boss. No apology, nothing.

I only ate fries, but they were almost cold and dry. The music was very loud so it was hard to have a conversation. Maybe OK for younger people.

I have been in Eternal Love more often for years. I like the atmosphere, sitting outside in the summer and sipping an Aperol is always great. Over the last year the whole store has become increasingly dirty (play area, toilet is sometimes really disgusting). You often notice that there aren't enough employees there who then run their heels off. But the employees are all very nice and probably do their best, it's usually not the employees' fault but the manager's fault!!! Today I went there for waffles with my children and parents. After a long wait, an employee came and told us that there were no waffles (problems with the dough). Kids disappointed, of course. How can something like this happen?? It is also often noticeable that there are not enough staff there when the weather is great! I don't understand that either. It's logical that the store is full then! The sun doesn't come out within an hour. I think the shop (from which so much could be made, or perhaps with a different tour) will hit the wall at some point. I just partly feel sorry for the employees, who are certainly doing their best but can no longer pull the cart out of the mud. LG Bine

Great location right next to Offlumer See. Beautiful lake view, especially at sunset. Rich drinks and menu. Service can be optimized if staffing is adequate.

10/15/2024 Addendum Rejoiced too early, apparently it was just a flash in the pan in February (see below) I've been there a few times since then: Again bad service (warm beer, cold food) waiting forever for someone to come... annoying That's a shame, as the great surroundings and ambience are of little use. At least everyone was nice (it used to be different) 02/02/2024 Addendum: Something seems to have happened! I've been here several times recently and what can I say: The service works well to very well. As with everything, not everything always works 100%, but that's completely OK. and the people are very nice and accommodating. Whatever you changed, keep it up! Worked up from 2 to 4 stars, you'll get the 5th too...;-) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Here is my old review: Just a matter of luck Is an absolute miracle bag: - Sometimes (almost) everything works, you get regular drinks and the food is O.K. We had something to eat here yesterday after a long walk. The shop has a really nice location and is tastefully modern but also comfortably furnished. It's just too big, so it was very loud (even though it was only half full). Because of the size, the criticism of waiting times that we often read here probably comes from. We also waited a relatively long time for everything, be it order acceptance, drinks or invoices. However, I found the staff to be very friendly and open throughout. There was also little to complain about about the food. We chose “broccoli rolls” - a kind of pizza roll and the “onion mustard schnitzel with cheese gratin” from the autumn menu. Both were very tasty and fresh. We were very surprised at the low prices and therefore didn't expect much, but it was really great. Afterwards we treated ourselves to a waffle and a filled donut. Would come back at any time, but preferably in the afternoon and not in the evening when it is completely full.

When the weather is nice on the terrace with a view of the lake, simply wonderful.

We were there for breakfast, 20 minutes until the waiter took our drinks. The coffee pots leaked and we had to pour the drinks over the floor otherwise everything would have ended up on the table. From around 10.30 a.m. it felt like no more food was being served - whether cold, hot or dessert. The buffet was pretty grazed, although there were still enough guests there.

We had booked a table. The table we got didn't work at all. The first thing I stumbled upon was a dog water bowl. There was SOOO much dog hair under the table that you had it hanging on your trouser legs. The waitress kindly gave us a new table. This was sticky, full of wax and food residue. We then looked for a table ourselves and found it. Only after 30 minutes did someone come and take the orders. The drinks came after another 10 minutes, the food after 25. The time was ok. The food was also completely as ordered and very tasty. There were only knives and spoons in the cutlery drawer, no forks. Each round of drinks then lasted easily 20 minutes. Conclusion: The store could make four times as much if the waitresses came to the table more often. But the worst thing was the DIRTY... under every table there were leftover food (potato wedges, half lemon slices, leftover meat, dog bowls, ...) really disgusting. Why can't you just clean a table that becomes free? Pull the chairs away and clean them with a long dustpan and broom... Hygiene in the guest room is terrible.

Very nice restaurant with a terrace right on the lake. Extensive menu, sufficiently large portions, price/performance definitely ok. The service consists of young, always friendly people who are more or less well trained in the service area. Interesting sanitary facility

Pulled us in because we went on a little birthday trip. A walk around the Offlumer See and then a stop at Café Ewige Liebe 😍 What can I say, our food tasted delicious, the girls who served us were super nice and the atmosphere was just too cozy. We were able to stay there for hours. FYI we were there on a Tuesday during the week and didn't wait long for our food ;)

Went there for brunch today. The buffet was very tasty, but unfortunately the service couldn't really keep up with the refills. I walked there three times for free because the OJ was constantly empty. I would also have been happy about an alternative such as multivitamin juice or water. At some point I ordered a Coke because I was so thirsty. What can I say? I'm still waiting for the Coke because we were simply forgotten...

You can't go wrong at this location. It was special, the friendly service made the sunset even more beautiful.

We were there today to enjoy a beautiful day. We both ordered iced coffee. This one came soon too. However, our understanding of an iced coffee is slightly different from that of other catering establishments. We were served cold coffee with a mini scoop of vanilla ice cream, some cream and some sauce and a waffle cone. It wasn't tasty once and never again here, iced coffee only from competitors. The view of the lake is great

Our burgers were really tasty, although both were missing the fried onions. Unfortunately the service was very bad, we had to wait 40 minutes until we could at least order drinks, and to order food we had to chase after the waitress because we felt like we were being ignored. We also enjoyed the non-alcoholic cocktails.

We arrived around 2:30 p.m. The sun was shining. The waiter opened the parasol 👍we ordered a Lillet, which came at a reasonable time. Then we ordered food. The waiter said it would take a moment, which I thought was positive. After a “normal” waiting time, the food came, which tasted great. We were completely satisfied and would like to come back.

Hello, I was here again today, unfortunately I wasn't as happy today as I was a while ago. Weeks ago the beer was warm, and unfortunately the ice cream without an ice cream ball was also very warm. On the next visit there was a big mess with the orders. And today, even though it was relatively empty, only half of the food came. What a shame!!!! But still the place and the restaurant are wonderful, but next time we won't eat anything, just drink. LG Petra

We waited 25 minutes and no one came to us, even though the store was only half full and service staff were standing together and chatting. Even “I’m done with my area, I have no more tables” was no reason to serve new guests before tables were cleared. Before we die of thirst, we'd better go somewhere else.

The location and ambience are great, right on the lake. Soundproofing measures would be good because it is relatively loud. The selection at the breakfast buffet is good. Drinks have to be paid extra (except orange juice). Since I also drink a lot of coffee with a leisurely, long breakfast, I don't think the concept is that good. After 11:00 a.m. the buffet was sometimes no longer refilled, e.g. B. Fruit was unfortunately quickly sold out. Unfortunately, many providers make baked rolls instead of fresh ones from the bakery. Overall 4 out of 5 stars.

Idyllically located with friendly staff and a view of Lake Offlum. Lately the loud constant music has been annoying

We - 2 people - were there the day after Father's Day and also today. The first time we were told that there was no catering at the tables in the sand - ok, it was really dirty there and not tidy. We then went into the enclosed area, but all the tables that were free were already reserved for 6 or 6:30 p.m. We were there at 5:45 p.m., we could have sat down there, but we should have vacated the seat as soon as the reservationists came. Or eat inside. Ok, new chance, why not? Similar thing today.... When the sun is shining you don't want to sit inside but let the rest of the day end. And maybe you should just hire more staff, maybe some who know about the service and you don't have to wait so long for your orders

Were there today for breakfast. We've been there several times before, everything was always fine. Only today we were very disappointed. Staff very unfriendly, service very slow. Coffee was only brought when we had almost finished breakfast. Cups were dirty, Had to be replaced several times until you got a clean one. The food was okay, the atmosphere is very nice.

Service and ambience very nice and good! I ordered a burger for €20 with sweet potato fries. The burger was huge and tasted okay but there was a thick, long black hair in it. Neither I nor my friends have black hair... I lost my appetite for the burger and left 3/4 of it lying around and only ate the fries. The waitress was very friendly and apologized straight away. She had to consult with the kitchen and could then offer me a new burger or a drink on the house. I think it's a bit lame, but I didn't feel like discussing it either. It's a shame, I've always enjoyed going there...

Top location with great service. Baker with 11 people and it was no problem at all to set up space on the terrace for the 11 of us. Food and drink arrived very early. The interior design is appealing.

Unfriendly staff, no take away service. I wanted to order fries and wasn't treated particularly nicely. Why is the restaurant right on the beach if you can't take food with you? The fries weren't that urgent after all. Too bad!

Great place, unfortunately twice the drinks weren't as cold as I would have liked given the hot weather. But got a replacement without any problems. Staff very nice. Great atmosphere with the lake. Gladly again and again!!

Excursion restaurant on Lake Ochlum, offering is ok, quality too. Beautiful seating with a view of the lake, suitable for eating as well as refreshing drinks. However, it can be quite busy on weekends and public holidays.

An excellent restaurant with a view of the lake, which makes the atmosphere particularly magical. The food is varied and delicious, and the service is first class. The relaxed atmosphere and the lake view make the visit unforgettable. The prices are reasonable for the quality offered. A visit here is definitely recommended for a unique culinary experience!

Unfortunately the food today was very poor. Even McDonald's has better fries. The lettuce in the wrap seemed very stale. Unfortunately not recommended at the moment due to the food!

On my first visit a year ago, no service came within 30 minutes, so I left with my companion. Well it went stupid. A few days ago I was there again with my girlfriend, and a friendly waitress was there very quickly and took the drinks. Great, I thought a lot has happened! Until the background noise became so loud that you couldn't understand your own words. There was a constant clinking of dishes in the background which was really unpleasant. We ordered a "salami" pizza, it was delicious except for the salami, which could be compared to chips from the bag... at Cross. Okay, that may be a matter of taste, but there is no deduction in the final grade. The ambience is very good and the view is really nice with a direct view of the Offlumer Lake and if you want to take a digestive walk after your meal you can start hiking directly at the lake :) All in all good! I deducted one star because of the background noise of the clattering dishes, which never happened...

I was there a few days ago and a very nice waitress with a name chain served me. She was very nice and polite, I can really recommend her.

There were six of us there today. One star is still far too many. We waited 30 minutes for tickets even though I had already told the waiter that we had already been waiting 15 minutes without tickets. The waiter then brought us ONE card for six people!!! Then we had to wait another 30 minutes without anyone coming to us. The waiters should look for other jobs. I have never seen such incompetent staff.

Until recently, I was very impressed with the quick, friendly service and very satisfied. But over time I was often disappointed by the incompetent staff... today especially. Only a few tables were "open" on the terrace. When I asked why that was the case, the answer was: lack of staff. At the same time, 5 waitresses were standing outside to smoke. Apparently you don't need it anymore, what with this weather and it's still the holidays. Impertinence...it's a shame about the beautiful location

The location is awesome but the food is a complete disaster! What they served was really cheeky. Despite us saying several times what was missing from the food (e.g. salad Paris without goat cheese, caramelized walnuts, fruit and pizza rolls, plus extra grilled chicken breast completely black), there was no apology, just an annoyed eye roll. The plates were taken away and put back the same way, with a small bowl of feta on the side. The rest would be over, the same chicken would be put back. The lettuce leaves were mushy and had brown spots. Nevertheless, I had to pay for everything normally after I said that they could take everything back. It's a shame, there's a lot of potential there, but we'll never go there again!

After 1 hour with drinks the order was still not taken. Drive hungry to another restaurant :)

Food was, well, okay. At least the main course. Afterwards we wanted to eat dessert again. Since every Hans and Frans is currently employed in the service, I asked exactly three times whether there were any nuts in the waffle, but this could not be answered (how could it be otherwise). Upon request, I asked to ask in the kitchen because I have a nut allergy and it could be life-threatening for me. She came back (service person) and said no to my question. What can I say: there were some in it, thank God I noticed that at the first bite. How would it have behaved with a small child? This would probably have been eaten and turned blue after 5 minutes because the trachea would have been too swollen. There is no listing anywhere (ingredients information) or any note. The waitress doesn't know the menu and doesn't know what she's selling or the kitchen staff who are losing a human life at that moment (yes, an allergy can be that bad, you can suffocate or, in the worst case scenario, drown in your vomit because of the swelling doesn't come out and you breathe it in). Terribly irresponsible when I read all the other comments, absolutely justified these extreme negative recessions.

As some have already written here, I only give one star for the beautiful view. We are a family of six including a toddler under two years old. On a hot day we wanted to enjoy some cold drinks. When we entered the restaurant we were told to find a seat ourselves, which we did. Since everything was full, we took a table with four chairs and moved it away from the passage where the waiters walk. We added two more chairs that happened to be in the corner and sat down. The child sat on his lap. The blonde-haired waitress who came over to us started complaining that we had narrowed the passageway she walks through and that the space wasn't meant for such a large group. She said we should reserve the table in advance if there are so many of us. We calmly replied that there were no other seats and remained seated. After a while she came back and said that what we had ordered wouldn't fit on the whole table (even though we hadn't ordered yet). I replied that we didn't plan on ordering much. The waitress took the order with a dissatisfied expression on her face, but the mood was already spoiled. After we drank the cocktails and wanted to pay, the waitress ignored us for about 20 minutes and only after another call did she come to us. The service was zero. The rudeness of this waitress was overwhelming. I wanted to have a nice time with my family and spend money at your establishment, but instead our evening was ruined.

The service staff has improved a lot, the chef delivers excellent bowls with unusual salad/vegetable/rice combinations, and it's just fun to stop here during a bike ride to recharge your batteries. The granddaughter now also likes to come here for breakfast and then quickly duck into the play area. However, you should treat the latter to a fall protection mat and replace the frayed ropes, so that you are not constantly looking at the climbing giant at a height of three meters to see whether it will come down safely.

There were four of us there. Waitress said getting food would take between 45-60 minutes. Then we ordered drinks first. For some strange reason we could only order small beers. Was in the restaurant a few days ago and absolutely cannot recommend it. The service there is very unfriendly and rude. The highlight was at the weekend when a guest was attacked massively by a waiter and even attacked when he simply asked when he could order, simply unbelievable when you just want to have a nice evening and then have to be afraid in the restaurant .

After ordering 2 non-alcoholic wheat beers, alcoholic beer was brought to our table. After complaining, they took it back and brought 1 non-alcoholic and 1 alcoholic wheat beer. When we asked if we wanted food, the answer was: I'll have to ask in the kitchen. What the young man didn't think of again. After a wait of about three quarters of an hour, we left the restaurant without having accomplished anything.

No milk alternatives to coffee which is really bad these days and unfortunately we had to wait a long time.

Unfortunately I can only give one star for the great view of the lake. The service is a disaster. Long waiting times, bad food, the terrace has seen better years. And when I see the kitchen staff sitting on Coke crates and smoking, I don't feel like going to such an unclean store anymore. The door to the kitchen is open!! One look in the kitchen is enough to stop eating there. The rat trap is certainly not there for nothing. Enjoy your meal.................. Even if I live nearby, I will avoid eating there. I'd rather go where I can get good service.

Went there around midday on Sunday. 20 minutes until the order is placed. It would be better for four waitresses to stand at the counter and chat. Another 20-25 minutes until the waffles came. 10 minutes later the coffee. Cup and spoon not clean. A hair on the saucer. Then asked to pay. 10 minutes pass. 2. please pay if you want. Another 10 minutes pass. Then go to the counter and pay there. One star for the waitress' apology that everything didn't go well. There is a lack of structure there.

Unfortunately you can't give zero stars. Would be appropriate in this case. We sat at the table for 20 minutes and several waiters walked past us. But no one came to us. After the 20 minutes I went to the bar and asked politely how to order here. The answer I got was from the waiters/residents at the table. They said someone would come immediately. Another 15 minutes passed and no one came. You can forget about service here.

The table that was reserved couldn't be found.....Wait for a long time....6 drinks were ordered....1 didn't come with me and wasn't delivered anymore.....exactly the same when eating. ...6 menus ordered......5 came......the 6th. Despite repeated requests, nothing....French fries that you didn't want were brought and were supposed to be included in the price at the end have to be paid extra...complete catastrophe...the mood was of course gone...complaints were recorded but not processed...

Unfortunately the same problem has been happening over and over again for years. Lack of staff and long waiting times. Nothing for spontaneous in between or a short stop

We enjoyed the large breakfast buffet, the service was very friendly and the ambience was also nice with a view of the lake. It's just a shame that so little emphasis is placed on the cleanliness of the toilets. Tiles and walls urgently need to be cleaned, new toilet buckets and brushes should be purchased and the toilets should be cleaned of limescale and dirt. The hand dryer didn't work and paper towels weren't available.

Unfortunately I can only give 2 stars for the service!! For a restaurant on a sandy lake, the offer for children isn't even a small ice cream stick!! So you can reserve the shop for people who sip on a glass longer than a child eats an ice cream on a bathing lake. SAD!!! IN MY EXPERIENCE 2 STARS ARE THE MAXIMUM FOR THE STAFF!! FIRST TIME I STANDED IN THE STORE FOR 15 MINUTES AND WASN'T EVEN NOTIFIED!!!! BUT ALSO HAD A CHILD IN IT, WHEN I ASKED SOMEONE WHO MADE THEIR OWN DRINK ABOUT ICE LOLLIES, I GOT A ROBOT-LIKE ANSWER. BUT IT WAS BROUGHT TO YOUR ATTENTION THAT YOU HAVE SOFT ICE CREAM BALLS THERE. I ASKED DO I HAVE TO TAKE A WHOLE CUP TO KEEP EATING OR WILL JUST BE A BALL. HE SAID YES A BULLET TOO GOES. Certainly dependent on the weather, otherwise easy to sit on, even behind glass if desired, almost a “coastal feeling”. The mostly young service is quick and friendly. There's nothing to complain about the prices either.

Good evening We were there again with our regulars. It always tasted very good and the service was excellent. But today it was really very poor to no service. The place wasn't full as usual and the service didn't work. It can't be that you have to wait half an hour for 6 drinks and have to contact the service several times. The floor was dirty and everyone on the staff was completely overwhelmed. I hope it gets better next time, otherwise I'll let you know

We had planned for this evening to spend a few beautiful hours in "eternal love". Unfortunately nothing came of it. We didn't get any food or drink and the table we reserved yesterday was already occupied. In return we received an outrageously unfriendly rebuff from the waitress, in front of all the guests. We were shocked and have never experienced anything like this. Incomprehensible. Instead, we went to the “Mykonos” restaurant at the campsite and got everything there that “Eternal Love” doesn’t offer.

Despite reserving a fixed table, it was occupied, the replacement table was too small, leftover food under the table, three of six orders were wrong, one was complete. not received. Employees bossy, arrogant and incorrect.

I wanted to treat myself to a "healthy" ice cream on my bike tour today and ordered a yoghurt ice cream with yoghurt and, according to the menu, "fresh fruit" for 8.95 euros. Came pretty quickly too. Ice cream and yoghurt ok, but no trace of fresh fears. It was exclusively frozen goods, which were also frozen and where some pieces tasted very, I want to put it carefully, "superimposed". I told the waiter, only reaction was "pass it on, they probably printed it wrong on the menu." For just under 9 euros??Hello!! But the problem was my stomach pain on the almost 25 km bike ride home and the subsequent diarrhea. Maybe I was just unlucky, I should have gone straight back, but unfortunately I had too much of an appetite for the ice cream. So, now quickly back to the shaft... let's move on 😞

A walk around the lake (almost 3.50 km), beautiful bays, varied forests, great views and then something to eat and drink in Eternal Love is always nice. The staff are always friendly and the range of food and drinks is extensive and good. I can recommend it.
